Nick: Beautiful thing.

Nick: (Sighs)

Katie: My, my. Don't we look comfy?

Nick: Comfy, indeed.

Katie: The bachelor in his lair. Well, not for long.

Nick: I just thought I'd take my last chance to stink this joint up. Want to join me?

Felicia: Mom has to start moving forward.

Eric: (Clears throat)

Felicia: I mean, going over there and seeing her in bed in the middle of the day avoiding the outside world-- it scared me to death.

Eric: Felicia, what do you want me to do about it?

Felicia: (Mocking) "What do you want me to do?" Something, dad. Anything. I don't know. Unless, of course, you're too busy with your new exciting life. How could you do it? I-I-I don't know. I really don't. How could you leave mother for a floozy like Donna?

Eric: Oh, stop it. What are you doing? Just hold it right there. You know, you're constantly going around using these epithets like--like floozy and tramp. Have you ever thought for a second what those things mean?

Felicia: It means that Donna is gonna make a fool out of you.

Eric: A fool out of me--how?

Felicia: Do I really need to spell it out?

Eric: Please, please do.

Felicia: Okay, Donna is hardly the faithful type.

Eric: And you base that on what? Her wardrobe? I know my wife, Felicia. She's not gonna cheat on me. She would never cheat on me. It's the one thing in our marriage that she knows I will not tolerate. She knows that, and I would appreciate it if you would stop insinuating otherwise. You're selling her short, and it's insulting as hell to me.

Felicia: Getting back to mother's situation.

Eric: Thank you. I'll go over and see her if you like, if you think it'll do any good.

Felicia: No, I know it would, okay?

Eric: All right.

Felicia: Do you have a key?

Eric: I don't need a key. I'll just knock.

Felicia: She's not gonna answer.

Eric: (Sighs)

Felicia: Take mine.

Eric: Listen, you can rest assured that I will always care about your mother, all right? Now give me a hug. I do not want you to be seen in public with that long face.

Felicia: A shorter one?

Eric: A shorter face. Yes, that--that's much better. And a smile. Go on. Go on.

Felicia: Thank you.

Eric: Go on. (Chuckles)

Donna: Hello.

Eric: Hey, look at you. Mm.

Donna: How are you? Mwah. I just said good-bye to Marcus.

Eric: Yeah?

Donna: I think he had a really good time today.

Eric: I think he did, too.

Donna: (Laughs)

Eric: I think all of our guests did.

Donna: (Sighs) well, I know I did.

Eric: Good.

Donna: But I think I'm in the mood for a little private party with my honey bear right now.

Eric: (Growls)

Donna: (Giggles)

Eric: I wish I could do that. I can't. I can't. I have to go out.

Donna: Where?

Eric: I'm gonna go down to the beach house and see Stephanie. Felicia says she's been depressed.

Donna: O-okay, but can't you do that tomorrow? I mean, I haven't had...

Eric: Mm, no.

Donna: A second alone with you all day.

Eric: I'm sorry. I have two families.

Always alone oh always alone nah nah nah nah

Donna: Owen, wh-- oh-- (gasps)

Owen: (Chuckles)

Donna: (Giggles)

Brooke: Katie asked me to follow up with the florist. She wasn't sure how they were planning on doing the flowers for the small bouquet.

Bridget: (Chuckles)

Brooke: Sweetie? Are those tears?

Bridget: I can't help it, Mom. I'm marrying Nick tomorrow. And I never thought that i would be this happy again.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Katie: That's a nice offer, but I don't think heart transplant patients are supposed to have cigars.

Nick: Oh, right. Sorry about that. I swore off these things about a year ago, but every now and then...

Katie: Right. Well, it's your house. Do what you want.

Nick: Well, maybe I'll finish it later on on the terrace.

Katie: You can enjoy it after I'm gone.

Nick: Gone? Where are you going?

Katie: You and Bridget are getting married tomorrow. Might be about time for me to abandon ship.

Owen: I, uh, grabbed a quick shower in the pool house after the party, and now I can't seem to find my clothes anywhere. They must be mixed up in these towels here or something. I don't know.

Donna: (Laughs)

Owen: All right, I'm decent. I'm decent. (Chuckles)

Donna: I-I'm so sorry.

Owen: No, don't...

Donna: I--you know.

Owen: Even worry about it.

Donna: (Laughs)

Owen: I don't think I ever got a chance to properly thank you.

Donna: For what?

Owen: Well, for inviting me to stay this afternoon. This was an amazing party.

Donna: Yeah, well, you must have thought I would ask you to stay.

Donna: Uh, you brought my-- my husband's favorite Gin as a present.

Owen: I'm an old boy scout. You know, be prepared.

Donna: Right. Right, the motto. My--my brother was a boy scout once. (Clears throat)

Owen: Well, I... (exhales) I guess I would have to find an awful lot of missing people to afford a place like this. It's beautiful.

Donna: Yeah. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Sometimes I have to pinch myself, you know?

Owen: Yeah, well, I'd say that Mr. Forrester is the one who really scored.

Donna: We both did.

Owen: You know, where is he, by the way? I'd love to thank him before I leave.

Donna: Um, well, you know, you really can't 'cause, uh, he's with his ex-wife.

Owen: You're kidding, right?

Donna: Wrong.

Owen: Wait a minute. So you throw this amazing bash for your husband's daughter, and he leaves you here all alone?

Donna: You know, um, Stephanie's depressed, and Eric is concerned about her.

Owen: But he made a vow to be with you and to make you happy, didn't he?

Donna: He comes from a different time. He's a gentleman. He's very chivalrous.

Owen: Yeah, well, I don't know about chivalry, Donna, but if you were my wife...

Donna: You'd what?

Owen: (Sighs)

Bridget: God, I'm just such a typical bride.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Bridget: Blubbering idiot.

Brooke: Wait just a second.

Bridget: Oh, gosh.

Brooke: Here. Blow your nose like a good little girl.

Bridget: Thank you, Mommy.

Brooke: I know you love Nick. And it's obvious seeing you two together, especially these last few weeks-- it's--it's obvious that you're meant to be together.

Bridget: (Laughs)

Brooke: (Sighs) I just want to say something and... (sighs) then I never want to bring it up ever, ever again.

Bridget: (Sighs) Okay, what is it?

Brooke: Well, as you know, I have, uh, made some mistakes in the past and followed certain impulses. (Sighs) and I regret them very deeply. I just want you to know, sweetheart, that I'm not going to inject myself into this marriage. I'm not gonna interfere. I'm never gonna make a mistake like that ever again.

Bridget: Thank you for saying that, Mom. Thanks. I know how sincere you are. But... (sighs) you don't have to make any promises for me. Not this time.

Brooke: (Sighs) Okay. (Crying)

Katie: I'm gonna go pack.

Nick: You have to do that now?

Katie: I thought I'd get a head start. Tomorrow you and Bridget and Jack will be one big happy family.

Nick: You don't want to be a part of that?

Katie: Well, let's see, there are two newlyweds and their son, and then there's me. What's wrong with this picture?

Nick: I thought you and Bridget had discussed that.

Katie: Bridget told you about our discussion?

Nick: Yeah. We don't keep any secrets. (Sighs) katie... she knows that we shared something special. She understands that. She's not threatened by it. Most importantly, she wants to make sure that you're doing all right. She wants to take the best care of you that she can.

Katie: That's our Bridget.

Nick: Yeah. So... you do what you feel is best. If you want to stick around a while longer, stick around, but we just want to make sure you're as good as new.

Katie: As good as new? I don't know if that's gonna happen.

( Soft guitar playing )

Owen: You know what? Let's just put it this way-- Eric Forrester is a very lucky man. I just hope that he realizes what a beautiful and elegant wife he has.

Donna: Well, thank you. But we are-- we're both very lucky. And I feel really blessed that Marcus is in my life, and I-I can't thank you enough for helping him find me.

Owen: You know, when Marcus first came to me, he made contact with I don't know how many different donna logans. He was feeling pretty discouraged, and he wanted to give up, but I talked him into letting me give it a try. Then your wedding announcement popped up on my search engine, and I figured it was a long shot, but what the hell? Told Marcus to go and get on a plane. Heck, I even paid for his plane ticket.

Donna: Really? That was very generous of you.

Owen: Well, you know, I've helped a few folks find people they thought they've lost. But this is by far my proudest success story.

Owen: You know what the best part is? The way that you've opened up your heart to him. I can tell you really care.

Donna: I do. I do. And I-I owe it all to you. You know, why-- why don't I go upstairs and get my checkbook so I can just write--

Owen: No, no, no, no. Don't--don't run off. Come on, I mean, I know you're good for it.

Donna: (Laughs)

Owen: I'll tell you what. I'm gonna be in town for a few days. Why don't I just come by the office? We'll settle up there. What do you say?

Donna: Perfect. All right, I'll see you there. (Laughs)

Brooke: I understand, Bridget.

Bridget: Do you?

Brooke: The reason you don't need my reassurances. You know I'm committed to Ridge.

Bridget: All right, well, if that's what you want to believe.

Brooke: (Laughs) Oh. Well, why don't you tell me what's on your mind.

Bridget: Are you sure you want to hear this?

Brooke: I can handle it.

Bridget: Well, I don't really see the point in rehashing history, but I realized Nick and I had to break up, end our marriage, so that he could get you out of his system, and he's done that. Or better yet, you did it for him.

Brooke: Yes, I guess I did.

Bridget: And I decided a long time ago that Nick was worth it. He was worth the wait.

Brooke: I'm sure he feels the same way about you, sweetie. I see it in his eyes whenever he looks at you. (Laughs) you two are gonna have such a wonderful future together.

Katie: You are one lucky kid. You've got a great dad, and tomorrow you're getting a new mommy. Bridget will always be there for you. And I may not be able to stick around forever, but I promise to stick around as long as I can.

Nick: Would you quit talking like that, please?

Katie: Well, I'm just being realistic.

Nick: Well, there's realism, and there's fatalism. Don't confuse the two.

Katie: I'm not complaining. I value every moment, believe me. And it's no tragedy. I know that I've had more happiness in the past few weeks than most people have in a lifetime.

Jack: (Babbling)

Katie: Yes, and it's probably because of you, my sweet boy. And it's probably because of your daddy. There are things going on in your house...

Felicia: Hi. I'm Felicia.

Owen: Owen knight. So are you related to the Forresters?

Felicia: I am a forrester.

Owen: Well, in that case, it's a pleasure to meet you, Felicia Forrester. I noticed you at the party earlier.

Felicia: You did, huh?

Owen: It was a pool party, and you weren't wearing a swimsuit.

Felicia: (Laughs) You know, I noticed you, too, at Forrester Creations. In fact, I would like to speak with you there in the morning. I'm sure you remember how to find it.

Owen: You bet. I'm free now if you prefer to talk this evening. Maybe over a drink?

Felicia: Forrester Creations in the morning will be fine.

Owen: You bet.

Bridget: It's gonna be such a perfect wedding 'cause we're gonna be surrounded by all the people that love and support us-- Grandma and Grandpa...

Brooke: (Laughs)

Bridget: Dad, you,

Brooke: Mmm.

Bridget: And, of course, Katie.

Brooke: Well, you gave her life. And now she's returning the favor. Nobody's happier for you than my sister.

Nick: Hey, don't forget this.

Katie: Aw, my basketball set.

Nick: I give you a present, and you never play with it.

Katie: What are you talkin' about? I've been playing with it all the time. I'm practicing my hook shot.

Nick: Hook shot? You got no hook shot. You're a jump shooter.

Katie: (Chuckles) You know, a lot's happened since you gave me that set.

Nick: Really? So you're saying you still got some game?

Katie: You want to try me and find out?

Nick: (Laughs)

Katie: (Laughs)

Nick: A little one-on-one? You want some of this?

Katie: Oh, you think you're up for it?

Nick: Really? Well, what do you say we just sweeten it up a little bit, huh, honey? How 'bout, um, how 'bout 10 bucks?

Katie: 10 bucks? Really?

Nick: Yeah, uh-huh.

Katie: Gosh, you're not feeling very confident, are you?

Nick: Let's make it $20.

Katie: Gosh, Nick, I don't know. I don't think it's polite to fleece the groom the night before his wedding.

Nick: I got a big bank account. Come on.

Katie: Coin flip?

Nick: No, no, no. No coin flip. I'll let you take it out first. And I'll even spot you 6 points.

Katie: Spot your grandmother 6 points. This is me you're talking about.

Nick: Come on, bring it on. You have no idea. I've got my boots on. I can still move. I can still move.

Katie: Katie Logan evades!

Nick: Mm-hmm.

Katie: Yes! And goes in for 2 points! Whoo!

Nick: My ball. Come on, baby, show me some defense, huh? Jump shooter. Watch this.

Katie: (Laughs)

when it comes to push and shove because you make me feel all right

Nick: You're out. You're out. Make it. Take it. Make it. Take it.

Katie: Okay. She goes up.

Nick: Oh.

Katie: Slam-dunk!

Yeah you make me feel all right yeah you make me feel

Nick: My ball. My ball.

You make me feel all right

Nick: Call it a tie?

Katie: Fine by me. I should go.

Nick: (Clears throat)

Katie: See you tomorrow. Wedding's all planned. It's gonna be amazing.

Nick: I'll see you bright and early.

Katie: Yeah.

Nick: Oh.

Nick: Don't forget this.

Katie: Thanks.
