Brooke: Oh, Stephanie, the wedding's about to begin. The children are here, and the minister is ready. In a few minutes, Donna and Eric are going to be husband and wife.

Stephanie: Not if he's the man I think he is.

Eric: All right, uh--

Bridget: Oh, dad, wait, wait. Oh!

Eric: What?

Bridget: Ugh, it looks like I got here just in time.

Eric: Oh, thank you very much. I'm not used to doing this all by myself.

Bridget: That's better. Now you look perfect.

Eric: You look beautiful. (Chuckles)

Bridget: I love you. Mwah.

Eric: Thank you.

Kristen: Bye.

Eric: Oh, is that you?! Hi.

Kristen: Hi.

Eric: Oh, good. I am so glad you're here for this.

Kristen: Well, Mother insisted.

Eric: (Clears throat)

Felicia: You know, daddy, if you decide not to go through with the wedding, we could tell the minister to go home and have a fancy family reunion. No?

Thorne: (Chuckles) Come on.

Felicia: All right, all right. You know, there's still time...

Bridget: Hi!

Kristen: Hi.

Felicia: To back out of this. I'm just saying.

Taylor: Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

Rick: Taylor, your kids aren't here. It's not like we can't be seen together.

Taylor: Still, I don't want to give people a reason to talk.

Rick: My dad and Donna are getting married in Stephanie's house. I'm sure the family has plenty to talk about today.

Pam: (Sighs) Hey.

Stephanie: Oh.

Pam: (Chuckles)

Stephanie: Is that in memory of Tiny? He's never far from my thoughts. Where's the killer bride?

Stephanie: No, uh, none of that now. Stop. We're here to support Eric.

Pam: If Tiny were still alive...

Stephanie: Mm-hmm?

Pam: I'd wrap a t-bone in Donna's wedding dress and let him do his worst.

Stephanie: See, that's exactly what I'm talking about, Pam, all right? We are not interfering with this wedding.

Pam: Somebody has got to do something, Stephanie.

Stephanie: Well, maybe somebody will, but it's not going to be you, and it's not going to be me.

Brooke: Oh. Thank you.

Ridge: From Caroline's garden.

Brooke: Worried Donna won't keep it up?

Ridge: It'd be a shame if she didn't.

Brooke: I'll make sure she does 'cause it's as sentimental to me as it is to your mother.

Ridge: Caroline's dying wish.

Brooke: To see us together.

Ridge: It's happening, Logan.

Brooke: (Sighs) I know. I know. And I want that more than anything. It's just-- it's kind of hard to think about right now with everything that happened with Stormy and Katie being in the hospital. I just feel frozen in place.

Ashley: Excuse me. Sorry. I don't mean to intrude. I was just wondering how Katie's doing.

Brooke: She's stable.

Ashley: Good. She and Storm must be on your minds today.

Brooke: Donna always thought that Stormy would walk her down the aisle.

Ashley: Well, I guess he had more important work to do for his baby sister.

Brooke: That's nice of you to say. I just wish Katie agreed with you.

Katie: "Don't be angry with me, or not for too long. Your sisters aren't as tough as we are. They're gonna need us. I think I have to finish now. There's more to say, but we'll be together soon."

Katie: (Sighs) Don't be angry.

Nick: Hey, they moved you to another room.

Katie: Yeah.

Nick: Huh. Well, your whole family's at Donna's wedding, so I figured you could use a little company. Oh, I see you've chosen some light reading.

Katie: Storm's note.

Nick: Yeah. Well, I could ask the nurse if she could bring you something with a happy ending.

Katie: Haven't you heard? Storm's a hero. He saved my life. According to everyone else, this is a happy ending. It's sick.

Donna: It just-- it doesn't feel right not having Katie here.

Stephen: Sweetheart, our family needs a reason to feel good.

Donna: And she's getting better, right? So we should feel good about that.

Stephen: Listen to me. You are about to become Mrs. Eric Forrester. Stephanie Forrester is moving out of her house and handing you the keys.

Donna: (Laughs)

Stephen: That's not just a reason to feel good. That is a miracle. (Laughs)

Donna: (Laughs) dad.

Brooke: (Exhales deeply)Ttell me this is what you want. Tell me that you're going to go through with this wedding. Eric, please, you can't let my sister down.

(Siren wailing)

Nick: Having your dead brother's heart in you is a little creepy, but you could either be creeped out, or you could be dead.

Katie: It wasn't Storm's choice to make.

Nick: Katie, your brother and your sisters wanted you alive.

Katie: My brother didn't want to be blamed if I died.

Nick: "I'll be doing what my heart knows how to do without my head screwing it up." That sounds like a man who wants to make amends.

Katie: He was so out of control. He shot Stephanie, and... (scoffs) none of us wanted to see it. We were so intent on protecting him, on keeping him out of jail no matter what. Why did we do that? Why were we so convinced that we could help him? Maybe he needed to be locked up. Maybe he needed to be in jail. Maybe we were just being selfish trying to keep him with us.

Nick: Well, you can't undo it now.

Katie: So I'm just supposed to live with that?

Nick: Yeah. And if you can't do it for yourself, do it for your family. They prayed for a miracle, and they got it.

Donna: You know the part where you ask if anyone objects? I-I have to be honest with you, reverend. Uh, if you--if you do ask that, there--there might be a stampede.

Reverend: You'd like me to skip it?

Donna: Is that possible?

Reverend: (Chuckles) It's not the first time I've been asked.

Rick: (Chuckles) Whatever it is, not today, Ridge. Not today.

Ridge: You brought Taylor as your date.

Rick: Taylor was invited, and so was I.

Ridge: Taylor just regained custody of her son. She needs to focus on Jack, not playing games with her daughter's ex-boyfriend.

Rick: This is not a game, and it's none of your damn business.

Stephen: Oh, I don't believe we've been formally introduced. I'm Stephen Logan.

Pam: You're the father of the home-wrecking slut.

Stephen: And you must be Stephanie's charming sister Pam.

Pam: (Chuckles)

Rick: (Chuckles)

Brooke: (Sighs) Out on the terrace.

Taylor: No, thank you, I'm enjoying the view right here.

Brooke: Now.

Reverend: You're the best man?

Rick: Uh, I am, yes. Hi.

Reverend: We're about to begin.

Rick: Oh, great.

Brooke: (Exhales deeply)

Taylor: What is it, Brooke?

Brooke: How can you be so reckless-- flaunting your relationship in front of the entire family? What if it gets back to Phoebe? This could devastate both of our children. If Phoebe finds out and she cuts you out of her life, Rick is never going to forgive himself.

Taylor: Rick and I already realize that not everybody's going to accept our relationship, okay? But it's not doomed. Look at Donna and Eric. The odds were against them...

Brooke: Oh. (Sighs)

Taylor: And they're getting married.

Eric: Wh-what are you-- don't do that.

Stephanie: (Chuckles) Just my--maybe my last chance to make something perfect in this house.

Eric: Listen, you can come over here anytime you want. You just can't fuss.

Stephanie: Well, if you really felt that way, I wouldn't be leaving in the first place.

Eric: That was your decision.

Stephanie: Yes. We all have difficult choices to make.

Reverend: Excuse me, the guests are being seated. We should take our place.

Eric: Oh, thank you, thank you.

Stephanie: One last thing. When you're standing up there, before you-- before you take your vows with Donna, really think about what they mean, that they're supposed to last a lifetime.

(Wedding March playing)

Pam: Look at her. She thinks she's such a hot tamale -- stealing Eric away from his family. Well, she won't get away with it.

Donna: Aah! Aah!

Pam: This'll cool you off.

Donna: (Crying) Help!

(Wedding March continues) -

Katie: Storm didn't have to die, Nick.

Nick: No, but if he hadn't, you would've.

Katie: Do you have any idea how that makes me feel?

Nick: Do you have any idea what your family was feeling? Do you know when the paramedics brought you in, you were unconscious, and you were hooked up to a machine, and if that machine stopped, you stopped. And they prayed, and they prayed for a miracle, and Bridget was smart enough to keep Storm's organs alive so the doctors could do the transplant. Now if you can't be grateful for what Storm did... (chuckles) there's a whole lot of other people you could be thanking instead.

Brooke: William Shakespeare wrote, "Let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments. Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds or bends with the remover to remove. Oh, no, it is an ever-fixed mark that looks on the tempests and is never shaken." This is my wish for Donna and Eric. May their marriage be a safe harbor from tempests that surround them.

Reverend: Donna, Eric, you may now make your vows to each other.

Eric: (Chuckles)

Donna: (Giggles) Eric, you know how much I love you. And you know what's in my heart. And I hope that after we're married today, your family can see that, too, because even though your children are grown and-- this wedding is about uniting families. And I've been thinking a lot about that today--family, members of--of my family who--who couldn't be here and the members of your family that are. It means so much to me to do this here in your home in front of your kids and having Stephanie here. After years of anger and bitterness, we--we can finally bring some peace and harmony back to this house.

Eric: (Clears throat) Donna, Donna, I've been thinking a lot about our families, too, about all the weddings that have taken place in this room and, uh, all the vows that have been spoken and all the couples that have stood right here, melding their lives together and--and putting their trust in each other. And so that's what I say to you today. I'm gonna love you every day of my life no matter what, no matter what.

Katie: I'm lucky to be alive. I know that.

Nick: It wasn't just luck.

Katie: That's what bothers me.

Nick: It wasn't just your brother either.

Katie: I can't think of this as something that was meant to be, that my brother's death is just some part of a larger plan.

Nick: I thought all you Logan women were into that destiny stuff.

Katie: And you think this is my destiny?

Nick: Well, I don't know, but either way, it's time to move on.

Katie: And how do I do that? How do I move on when every breath I take is a reminder of-- (sighs) I lie here in this bed, and I listen to my brother's heart beating in my chest, and I wonder does it sound different to me than it did to him? Does it feel different? Does it make me different?

Katie: I just feel lost. I feel like I'm not me anymore.

Nick: (Exhales deeply) I would say that that's pretty understandable. It'd probably be strange if you didn't feel strange. (Sighs) but my guess is--is you're probably still you. Of course, I just started to get to know you when all this happened, so what do I know? But if you were to give me just, like, a smidgen of a chance, I might be able to help you feel like your old self again.

Reverend: Will you take this man to be your husband? Will you love him...

Stephanie: You're remembering, aren't you, Eric?

Reverend: Honor and keep him in sickness and in health...

Stephanie: You are. You're remembering the love that we shared and the vows that we shared.

Eric: Today I vow my love to you. I give you everything that I am, everything I ever shall be, to stand by you and help you and to commit my life to your happiness, because any life that I can have with you, regardless of how many challenges God may place in our way, will be infinitely more valuable to me than any life I could have without you. I will be true to you for the rest of my life.

Reverend: Eric, place this ring on Donna's left hand. Will you take this woman to be your wife? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health and forsaking all others be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?
