Katie: Oh, God, I just feel so stupid. I just feel like such an idiot for doing something so unexpected.

Nick: It's--it's okay. It really is okay.

Katie: (Sniffling) Why did I get involved? God, why did I get involved?

Nick: It's okay.

Bridget: Um, Katie, Nick? My--my goodness. What's going on here?

Katie: Ohh.

Brooke: Ridge, you have to agree. Jack may not be safe in that environment.

Ridge: I know. How can Taylor be involved with Rick? It's one thing he's your son, but I'm worried about Phoebe. I mean, what's this gonna do to her when she finds out? She obviously still has feelings for him.

Brooke: Look, let's not talk about Taylor anymore. I'll take care of that situation.

Ridge: I'm not so sure that's a good idea.

Brooke: Speaking of not good ideas, I would like to speak to you about Storm.

Ridge: Storm?

Brooke: He told me what happened. You fired him? You banned him from the building?

Ridge: Yeah, for very good reason.

Brooke: Ridge, he told me that you said he was a threat to our family and our children. How could you say something like that?

Ridge: Why does everybody seem to feel that Storm is okay? He's not okay, Logan.

Brooke: But he's in therapy. You know that.

Ridge: Still he is not okay. Look, I know he's your brother and you probably don't want to hear this. Storm is not okay. He's dangerous, which makes me wonder why you didn't tell me something. The woman that Storm has been seeing right here at Forrester is Ashley.

Storm: (Laughs)

Ashley: That is so embarrassing.

Storm: Oh, no, no, no.

Ashley: Yes, yes.

Storm: It's endearing.

Ashley: Really? Who's been telling you all of my secrets?

Storm: Well, let's just say I'm been doing a little reading up, that's all, a little homework.

Ashley: A little homework?

Storm: Uh-huh.

Ashley: Can I take a peek at your homework, and then we can compare notes during homeroom?

Storm: (Laughs)

Ashley: (Laughs)

Storm: Well, you know what I mean. You come from a famous family, the Abbott family, Jabot. You were married, you know, that kind of stuff.

Ashley: And there you have it.

Storm: (Laughs)

Ashley: Okay, so you know all my skeletons. What about you? You must have some skeletons in your closet.

Storm: (Laughs)

Bridget: I mean, wow. I-I didn't expect to walk in on--on you two.

Katie: Um, Bridget, um, we--it's not--

Bridget: You two were in each other's arms. It was quite a surprise.

Nick: I-I-I don't know what you're thinking, but--

Bridget: I don't know what I'm thinking either. Um, what should I be thinking?

Nick: Well, Katie is obviously upset and--and came over here.

Bridget: Right, yeah, no, I can--I can see that.

Katie: I should explain.

Bridget: Good, I'm--I'm hoping that you do, 'cause I-I just-- I overheard you saying that you wished you weren't involved in whatever it was you wished you weren't involved in.

Katie: I don't-- I don't think I should, um, babysit for Jack anymore.

Bridget: What?

Katie: I am getting too attached to him, and--and I don't think that it's good for him. I don't think it's good for me.

Bridget: Okay. So you came all the way over here to tell Nick that you shouldn't babysit for Jack anymore, and that's it? 'Cause I might need some help here. I feel like I'm missing something.

Brooke: I didn't see any reason to alarm you. It was nothing.

Ridge: A lunch meeting with Storm and Ashley isn't nothing.

Brooke: (Scoffs) Ridge, it's not like it was a date.

Ridge: Logan, can you honestly tell me that Storm's interest in Ashley is purely professional? Exactly.

Brooke: Where are you going?

Ridge: I've gotta warn Ashley for her safety. She can't spend any more time with your brother.

Brooke: Ridge? (Sighs) (Sighs)

Ashley: No, no, no, no, don't try to distract me with the wine.

Storm: (Clears throat)

Ashley: I know that trick. Come on, I want to hear about your skeletons.

Storm: Hmm.

Ashley: Tell me some dirty little secrets.

Storm: All right, all right. You really want to know one of my deepest, darkest secrets, something that, uh, nobody else knows?

Ashley: Yeah, the juicier the better.

Storm: All right, all right. Well, a little while back I did something scandalous, something people would be shocked to hear me admit. I was, um, sneaking around the office with a specific plan in mind, as I stumbled across this unsuspecting woman. Unbeknownst to her, she fell into my ploy, taking me up on my fictitious lunch meeting.

Ashley: You're evil.

Storm: (Laughs) I know, I know. It's pretty terrible...

Ashley: Uh-huh.

Storm: Asking a beautiful woman out on certain false pretenses. But I mean, there's no real harm in that, right? I mean, how knows? It could lead to something. What do you think?

Ashley: I don't know. Can this woman trust you now, hmm? Maybe we shod alert the authorities.

Storm: (Laughs) That's cute. It's very cute.

Nick: Bridget, there is nothing going on here but what we told you.

Katie: We're all just concerned about Jack.

Bridget: Right, right. Well, I have some concerns of my own, as well. I didn't feel like we were really finished talking, and I needed to take a breather and just sort some things out. I'm sorry I left.

Nick: Okay. What things?

Bridget: Um... Nick, you know, I-I do--I-I do love you so much. There was one point in my life where you--you were it. You were the love of my life. But things are really different now. You're different. I'm different. It--you have a child. I want to take this slowly, like we originally said. And if it's too much to be intimate, then--then that's fine. I'll wait. We should wait. I'm fine with that. But if we give this time, the right things are gonna happen for everyone involved. And you know, this time I am not afraid to--to fight or compete with anyone or anything. And also, I-I know that you love me and that that hasn't gone away.

Nick: I do love you.

Bridget: Then maybe we could have that family that--that we should've had. I'm not gonna give up on that dream this time. We had something so special.

Bridget: I want that back. I know this is gonna take a lot of time, and it gets confusing for you or for--you know, to try to have the same relationship that we used to have.

Nick: Well, To try to have the same relationship we had. It is confusing for me. It is consuming for me.

Bridget: I understand. We are not in a rush. Look, I was just so stupid and came on way too strong . We all make mistakes, right, Katy?

Katie: Um. Yeah, I definitely made mistakes.

Bridget: That's okay. We all do. But the important thing is just to learn from them.

Katie: That's right. that's exactly right. It is the important thing.

Bridget: So then we all understand each other?

Nick: I don't know. Do we?

Bridget: Well, I mean I think you know where I stand.

Nick: You have been perfectly clear.

Bridget: Wow, at least I got a smile out of you.

Nick: I don't think you have ever had trouble getting a smile out of me.

Bridget: I don't know how true that is but I do want to make you smile. You have a lot of chaos in your life, and I don't want that to ever impact us.

Nick: I think you need stability, and I can provide that for you and your child. .

Katy: Jack is lucky to have you in his life.

Nick: Katy's right about that. You're amazing with that little guy.

Bridget: I feel such a bond with him. I guess that's because I was so intimately connected to everything that happened. Let me go get him. (Crying)

Katy: Okay, okay, what is going on here? I mean the three of us, do you think she suspects something?

Katy: Well, us, the kiss and everything anything and everything?

Nick: I don't....

Katy: She is definitely acting weird.

Nick: Silence. She is good with him.

Katy: She needs to get back down here and you need to tell her the truth.

Ashley: Thank you, thank you. It is a lovely dinner.

Storm: And what better way to finish out the wonderful evening than with a dance?

Ashley: I don't think so. It is a really long day.

Storm: Come on, one dance.

Ashley: Nobody else is dancing. No.

Storm: It's an easy one.

Ashley: It is not a easy one either.

Storm: That's cute. You are shy. I will go pay the bill and be right back.

Ashley: Okay, I will be here.

Ridge: Hey Ash.

Ashley: What are you doing here?

Ridge: Your sister told me I would find you here.

Ashley: What is wrong.

Ridge: I will make it simple you can't be spending time with Storm.

Ashley: What are you talking about? I can spend time with whoever I want.

Ridge: Ashley, you don't understand. I fired Storm. I told him specifically to stay away from my family and people that I care about. That includes you.

Ashley: Okay, why did you fire Storm .

Ridge: There is something you need to know about your dinner partner and what kind of man he is and what he is capable of.

Ashley: What exactly is that.

Ridge: Ashley, Storm Logan is the person that shot my mother.

Katy: Oh, this is beyond uncomfortable. I can't even tell you.

Nick: Please don't tell me.

Katy: I wish you would take it serious she suspects.

Nick: Suspects what?

Katy: That something is going on, and I can't stand lying to her.

Nick: We are not lying to her.

Katy: She suspects that there is another woman.

Nick: She thinks I am involved with her mother. We've gotten all that cleared up.

Katy: Didn't you hear all this talk about making mistakes and come on. You see the way she was looking at me. she knows.

Nick: Knows what?

Katy: That we kissed. Have you forgotten?

Nick: No, I hadn't forgotten.

Katy: I wish you would take it more seriously. I will not lie to her. She has to be told the truth. I will not keep it from her.

Nick: Telling her that we kissed wouldn't exactly be telling her the truth. Because the truth is, kitty Logan, you kissed me.

Ashley: Storm? That's ridiculous. There has to be some other explanation.

Ridge: Ashley, he confessed. He shot my mother and then set his own father up to take the fall.

Ashley: Well, then why isn't he in jail, Ridge?

Ridge: That is a long story. The point is you don't really know who Storm is. He's a dangerous, dangerous man. You need to be careful.

Ashley: Well, apparently so, if he shot your mother.

Ridge: You need to end things with Storm.

Ashley: Well, they never really started.

Ridge: Good. And the sooner the better. Now do not tell him that you know about the shooting or that I told you about all this. And just without upsetting him, just, uh, diffuse the situation, but keep your distance.

Ashley: And you're sure about this? I mean, there's not some misunderstanding?

Ridge: Ashley...

Ashley: I-I just don't--

Ridge: He shot my mother. Brooke keeps insisting that her brother is not trouble. I know differently. Storm scares me. I don't think you're in any immediate danger, but just cut things off with Storm without making him suspicious at all, okay?

Ashley: Okay, yeah, okay, I'll--I'll handle it.

Ridge: Okay. I'll see you at work.

Ashley: Okay.

Ashley: (Sighs)

Nick: So we are in agreement about this? You kissed me.

Katie: Fine. Fine, I kissed you.

Nick: Okay.

Katie: But it was only after that stupid speech you laid on me about following my desires and my impulses. I don't know why I listened to you.

Nick: Don't you?

Katie: No, I don't. What? Don't look at me like that.

Nick: Like what?

Katie: Like I'm kidding myself.

Nick: Are you?

Katie: No. I-I can't stand this. I just feel all off balance. That's it, I'm telling her about the kiss.

Nick: Just like that you're--

Katie: Yes. I-I ju--I love Bridget. You love Bridget. I-I-I can't-- oh, God, I'm feeling nauseous.

Nick: O-okay, come on, come on, come on, sit down, sit down here.

Katie: Ohh. Ohh.

Nick: Sit down. Take it easy. Is that better?

Katie: This has just gotten way too complicated way too fast.

Nick: Just take a minute, gather yourself.

Katie: No, I can't. The longer I wait the sicker I feel. I have got--I've gotta do this. It's the only way I can live with myself.

Nick: (Sighs)

Bridget: Well, he's back asleep-- that perfect little angel.

Nick: Oh. Thanks. Thank you.

Bridget: Oh, of course. Any time.

Nick: Well, I mean sort of thank you, sort of.

Bridget: Sort of?

Nick: Yeah. Well, I don't--I don't want to get too used to it. You're a busy doctor, and I can't count on you all the time.

Bridget: Oh, please. You know that I'll always be here for you and Jack. Don't doubt that.

Katie, are you okay?

Katie: Uh, not really.

Bridget: Can I help?

Katie: Not really.

(Cell phone rings)

Nick: Sorry. Yeah, Mom? Oh. Right now? Yeah, yeah, no, I'll--I'll be right there. Listen, excuse me, ladies. My mother's pulling up and needs some help bringing things in. So I'll be a couple minutes, okay?

Katie: Okay, fine, go ahead.

Bridget: Oh, my God, what is going on? And don't you dare tell me nothing.

Katie: (Sighs) (elevator dings)

Storm: What did you say to her, Ridge?

Ridge: I told you to stay away from my family and the people I care about.

Storm: Yeah. You also fired me, so I don't take orders from you.

Ridge: I'd rethink that if I were you, Storm. Look, I don't really want to cause trouble for you.

Storm: What did you tell her, Ridge, hmm? Did you tell her I shot your mother?

Ridge: And if I did?

Storm: (Sighs) Look, Ridge, I care about Ashley, and I don't want you to-- let's just, uh, hope you didn't say anything.

Ridge: You're not well, Storm-- after what you did to my mother. (Gunshot) you're in danger, Ashley, very serious danger.

Katie: I've been wanting to talk to you.

Bridget: Well, now's your chance. It's just the two of us.

Katie: (Sighs) Uh, I don't really know where to start.

Bridget: Well, the beginning's usually a pretty good place.

Katie: Right, the beginning. I don't really know when the beginning was.

Bridget: The beginning of what? Katie, what is this about?

Katie: It's about Nick... and me.

Bridget: You and Nick?

Katie: I just want you to know that I never, ever planned on--on any-anything happening. It's just I-I kissed him.

Bridget: You kissed Nick?

Katie: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I-I-I-I know it's wrong. I feel terrible. I just hope you can forgive me.

Bridget: Well, do you have feelings for him? Katie, I need to know the truth. I need to know the truth right now.
