Brooke: Where are you, Storm? You should be here by now.

Ridge: You admitted the pull that Nick and his child have on you.

Brooke, this is not the time for us to rush into a marriage, not when you have these feelings for Nick.

Brooke: I-I don't have feelings for Nick.

Ridge: Yes, you do. Be honest.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Nick: I do understand your position, and I do know how hard this is for you, and I do want what's best for you. But I don't believe that Forrester's the answer, and I do love you enough to let you go... if that's what you want. Tell me that's what you want. Do you want me to let you go?

Brooke: (Whispers) No.

Brooke: (Sobs) No, I don't. (Sobbing)

Storm: Hey, sis, what's up? Why did you want to see me in here?

Brooke: Oh, uh, remember what we were talking about last night?

Storm: Uh, no. Seriously, what's up? Oh, you really want me to take Ashley out?

Brooke: Yeah, I-I think it would be good for both of you.

Storm: Well, I'm not really that interested, so--

Brooke: Stormy, she's gorgeous, and she's intelligent. She'd be perfect for you.

Storm: (Sighs) Okay, what else is going on? This isn't just about setting me up.

Brooke: Fine. You know the dream that I have to be with Ridge.

Storm: Yeah.

Brooke: I think it could be in jeopardy because of Ashley.

Storm: What? I thought Ridge and Ashley were old news.

Brooke: Well, she's still hanging onto hope that she's gonna get back together with him.

Storm: So what? Somehow, I'm supposed to s-stop that from happening?

Brooke: Yes and no. I mean, I love you. I would never set you up with somebody that I didn't think would be a good match for you.

Storm: Well, no, it's just-- you know, I didn't think you were a big fan of Ashley's. That's all.

Brooke: Well, she's, you know-- she's an okay person. It's just that I-I don't think that she's being realistic about having another chance with Ridge. She needs somebody else in her life.

Storm: I see. So naturally, I'm that guy, right?

Brooke: Well, you're single, and she's single. She has a lot to offer.

Storm: So I'm just supposed to ask her out, just like that?

Brooke: Well, you do have to go over some legal issues for her belief formula, don't you? So just do it over lunch.

Storm: Yeah... I don't know if that's such a good idea.

Brooke: Stormy, please, please, for me.

Storm: (Sighs) Okay. Even I was just interested, and I'm not saying I am, have you forgotten the tiny detail about the huge skeleton in my closet?

Brooke: Don't worry. She won't find out about Stephanie. I promise you.

Storm: (Sighs)

Ridge: This is nuts! I can't believe this.

Stephanie: What can't you believe?

Ridge: Storm Logan.

Stephanie: Well, that's a name I'd never-- I could have spent the rest of my life and never had mentioned to me again.

Ridge: Did you know that he's still doing legal work for the company? I can't believe dad would keep him on after everything that's happened.

Stephanie: No, I didn't know that. He's probably doing it to please Donna.

Ridge: Yeah, well, it's gotta stop. We can't have someone like him working for us. Storm Logan is dangerous.

Storm: (Coughs)

Ashley: Hi, Storm.

Storm: (Laughing) Hi. Sor--sorry. Hi. How are you?

Ashley: Hi. I'm okay. What are you-- what are you doing here?

Storm: Oh, well, I just have some, uh, legal stuff to iron out, and I thought maybe we could...

Ashley: Oh.

Storm: Uh, discuss it over lunch or something.

Ashley: Oh, right now, I-I'm really busy. I don't think I have time for that right now.

Storm: Oh, well, I mean, you know, uh, of course, it would be my treat, and besides, you do have to eat, right?

Ashley: (Laughs) I do have to eat. You're right. Um, okay. I guess a quick lunch isn't gonna kill me.

Storm: Okay.

Ashley: Okay.

Pam: You'd be very proud of me. I have made quite a mess of Eric's little hot tamale-- first, her skin, then her hair, then her pearly whites. No wonder she didn't show up for work today. But it seems there's more going on with miss Donna ho-gan. She's got an agenda. She's so desperate to hang on to her honey bear, she's planned a secret rendezvous at their little hideaway. Eric will come looking for these, his little pills. He'll tell me he's got a very important lunch meeting, but we both know what'll be on the menu. (Laughs) I'm afraid the lunch...

Tiny: (Whining)

Pam: Won't be as satisfying as Eric and Donna had hoped. Poor Donna. I'm so sorry, but I'm just gonna have to put a little downer on your big plans. (Laughs) Right, Tiny? Yeah. (Laughs)

Donna: I am going to pounce on you today, Eric, and you are gonna love it.

Eric: The only thing I actually have to do is at the end of the day, I want to do this conference call with the Paris office. Everything else can be canceled, all right? Something came up.

Pam: I don't think so.

Eric: I'm sorry. What?

Pam: Oh. No, I said certainly, and, uh, is there anything else you want me to do, Eric?

Eric: Uh, you know what I would like? I'd like to have a, um, medicine now. Oh, thank you. Aren't you efficient?

Pam: (Laughs)

Eric: Thank you, Pam.

Pam: That's it?

Eric: Yeah, thank you.

Pam: Okay. (Cell phone rings)

Eric: Hello.

Donna: Hey, big boy. Did you get my message?

Eric: Uh, I'm just-- uh, I'm just leaving now.

Donna: Well, I have, um, a little surprise for you. It's a preview to our honeymoon escapades.

Eric: Ooh, sounds fascinating.

Donna: Oh, it will be. But you know, I hope you're well rested, because, um, it's gonna be a very long, very fulfilling lunch.

Eric: (Sighs)

Donna: Oh. Darn. I forgot to tell him to bring something.

Pam: Have a nice lunch, Eric. (Laughing) (telephone rings)

Pam: Eric Forrester's office. How may I help you? Hello?

Donna: Oh. Hey, Pam. Um, it's Donna. Is Eric there?

Pam: Um, no, actually, he just left, no doubt to go see you. You want me to try to stop him?

Donna: Don't do me any favors. Thanks.

Pam: You know, Donna, Eric really should be spending his time here at the office, and not out cavorting with you. You're nothing but a distraction to him.

Donna: A distraction? Honey, I'm an inspiration. Mark my words when I tell you that Eric will be coming back to the office today truly inspired. I mean, that is, if he comes back at all.

Pam: You certainly are confident about your ability to inspire him, aren't you?

Donna: Oh, Pammy, Pammy, Pammy, have you ever even been on a date? Inspiring a man is something that you would know nothing about.

Pam: Ouch!

Stephanie: I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that your father has Storm working here.

Ridge: Yeah, well, it's not acceptable. Most people in this building have no idea what a cold, calculating sociopath he is.

Stephanie: And he's a liability, too. Personally, I'm not comfortable having him anywhere near me.

Ridge: Oh, he better not come anywhere near you. I don't want him near anybody in this building, mother. I'm gonna talk to dad, because Storm Logan needs to be out of here for good.

Storm: (Laughing) I made the whole thing up, and the guy buys it hook, line and sinker. I mean, it was...

Ashley: (Laughs) You have a wicked sense of humor.

Storm: Oh.

Ashley: I don't know you very well, but I think you're a very dangerous man. I wouldn't want to get on your bad side.

Storm: Ah.

Ashley: (Laughs)

Eric: Hey.

Donna: Honey bear!

Eric: (Laughing)

Donna: I am so happy to see you.

Eric: Oh, good. Mwah!

Donna: Oh, I thought of some things I wanted you to bring, but, um, I'm sure we'll manage.

Eric: Oh, I'm sure we're gonna be just fine.

Donna: God, I couldn't wait. I was waiting and waiting and waiting for you.

Eric: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I got here as soon as I could. The traffic was terrible.

Donna: Yeah, yeah, it's a jungle out there, isn't it?

Eric: Mm-hmm.

Donna: It's gonna be a jungle in here, too.

Eric: You promise?

Donna: Cross my heart, hope to die.

Eric: Oh, good. Oh, good.

(Door opens)

Stephanie: Hello.

Pam: Hi. Want bigger, more beautiful potted plants?

Pam: I was just, uh, straightening up Eric's desk. He had to leave in a hurry-- important lunch meeting with Donna.

Stephanie: Oh, lunch with Donna, yes. Um, I hear that Donna has had a sort of run of bad luck lately.

Pam: (Laughs) I'll say.

Stephanie: Pam, did you have anything to do with that?

Pam: Of course I did.

Stephanie: Oh.

Pam: (Laughs) Eric's little hot tamale isn't so hot right now.

Stephanie: Pammy...

Pam: Look, you remember what I told you when I called you? Sexuality is Donna's only weapon, right? If she loses that, she loses her self-confidence, and she turns to mush, like an underdone batch of lemon bars. Sex appeal is the only thing she's got to arouse Eric's interest. So let's just say I've made sure that no arousal will take place this afternoon. (Laughs)

Stephanie: Is that his vi-- oh, my God. What have you done?

Pam: (Laughs)

Eric: So you still think that Pam is responsible for all this?

Donna: I am sure of it.

Eric: (Laughs) well, I think it's just a series of, uh, unfortunate events, anyway, let's not talk about that. I am here to prove to you that my passion for you cannot be changed by the hue of your hair or the unfortunate, uh, stains of your teeth, which has been cleared up, thank God...

Donna: (Laughs) Or the wonderful color of your skin.

Donna: Oh.

Eric: Mm.

Donna: You know, I ordered you your favorite salad, though I don't think you'll be eating salad today.

Eric: Yeah.

Donna: (Giggles)

Eric: No, I don't think so. I don't want any salad. You can throw it away.

Donna: (Laughs) My big, bad honey bear.

Eric: (Laughs) This bear is hungry for his honey.

Donna: Mm.

Eric: (Roars)

Donna: (Giggles) Well, don't worry. I have got plenty of honey for you.

Eric: Mm.

Donna: Oh! Oh! Wait, wait, wait. But remember, I promised you a little surprise...

Eric: Oh, yeah.

Donna: A preview to our honeymoon.

Eric: Uh-huh.

Donna: I'll be right back. (Giggles)

Eric: All right. (Sighs) ah.

Brooke: You'll never guess who's out on a lunch date.

Ridge: Who?

Brooke: My brother and a very lucky lady who works here at Forrester Creations.

Ridge: What? No. No, no, no. We have to put a stop to that, Logan.

Brooke: Ridge, it's only a lunch date.

Ridge: I don't care. I don't even care who the unlucky lady is. We gotta stop it.

Brooke: What's going on with you?

Ridge: I don't trust your brother. He's dangerous.

Storm: Thank you.

Ashley: Thank you.

Storm: Uh, yeah. I mean, still, it just kind of seems like it's been--I don't know-- pretty tough for you since you've been in L.A.

Ashley: What do you mean?

Storm: Well, you come here, and you've got your engagement to Ridge, and that didn't exactly work out too well, I guess.

Ashley: Oh, that. Yeah, well, granted, it wasn't the happiest moment of my life, but I've moved on.

Storm: Well, still, it must have been-- it must have been pretty tough to go through at the time.

Ashley: I think things have been crazy for a lot of people in L.A. this year, don't you? I mean, that shooting that happened at the last fashion show? Stephanie? Happened in the building? And they still haven't caught the guy. I mean, he could be anywhere. It just goes to show you, you can't be too careful-- a lot of demented people out there.

Pam: I pulled a little switcheroo on Eric's precious performance pills.

Stephanie: You didn't.

Pam: I did.

Stephanie: You didn't.

Pam: I did.

Stephanie: Oh, my God. What have you done?

Donna: Deep in the heart of Africa, the leopard stalks her prey. She senses something in the air. It's-- it's the big, strong hunter fast asleep to the sounds of the jungle. (Hisses) all the while, she silently, stealthily stalks her prey. Suddenly, the hunter hears a noise. He thinks it's a "meow" of a little pussycat. (Kissing sounds) oh, but he is wrong. It's a big cat, and she's hungry. Tonight, the hunter gets hunted. The leopard is going to devour him. Her heart starts beating faster. She goes in for the kill, and she pounces. (Roars)

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: Eric? Honey bear?

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: (Laughs) are you hibernating?

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: (Laughs)

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: Honey bear?

Eric: (Snoring)

Donna: Honey bear?

Eric: (Snores)

Pam: I switched Eric's magic pills for sleeping pills.

Stephanie: Sleeping pills? You didn't.

Pam: I did.

Stephanie: You didn't.

Pam: I did.

Stephanie: Oh, my...

Pam: (Laughing)

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: Why is my jungle seduction not working?

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: Eric? Big hunter, grab your gun and fire.

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: Eric... uh. Eric...

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: Oh, honey bear, how could you fall asleep on me? Wake up. Oh, please, wake up.

Eric: (Snores)

Donna: (Sighs)
**********************************

Ridge: Did you hear what I said? Your brother is not to socialize with anybody in this building.

Brooke: Why?

Ridge: I told you-- because he's dangerous.

Brooke: (Scoffs) Ridge, no, he's not.

Ridge: Yes, he is, Brooke. He shot my mother and then blamed it on your father. The guy is dangerously disturbed.

Brooke: He is getting help.

Ridge: That may be well and fine, but there's no way he's gonna hook up with anybody at Forrester. It's too risky.

Brooke: Why does it matter if she works at Forrester or not?

Ridge: Because I have a responsibility to protect our employees. Brooke, I honestly believe anybody hooking up with your brother is in serious jeopardy.

Brooke: Ridge, I can't believe I'm hearing this from you.

Ridge: Your brother is a loose cannon, Brooke. We cannot let him get involved with anyone.

Ashley: (Laughs)

Storm: Thank you very much. (Laughs) I don't know.

Ashley: (Laughs) This was fun. Thank you so much for asking me to lunch. I appreciate it.

Storm: Yeah, you're welcome. It was fun. (Laughs)

Ashley: What?

Storm: Oh, I don't know.

Ashley: What?

Storm: I just kind of-- I kind of hope we can do it again sometime. As a matter of fact, I know we will. I don't want to take no for an answer.

Ridge: Whoever Storm is with is in danger. (Echoing) Is in danger.
