Donna: Aaaaaaaaah!
Brooke: (Sighs heavily) (knock on door)
Brooke: (Sighs) Oh, thanks for coming.
Rick: Hey. You made it sound pretty urgent.
Brooke: Yes, it is.
Rick: Well, what's going on?
Brooke: It's Bridget. I'm worried about her.
Rick: Why? Because she's with Nick?
Brooke: How did you know she was with Nick?
Rick: I spoke to her earlier before she went to his house.
Brooke: And you're not concerned for her?
Rick: She's a grown woman, Mom. I mean, I think she can take care of herself.
Brooke: Honey, she's been down this road before with Nick, and she's been hurt. I just don't want to see her getting hurt again.
Katie: Nice look, sailor.
Bridget: Nick, I've waited so-- waited so long to be with you again like this.
Nick: I have got to move on. I deserve to be happy. Bridget is so incredibly beautiful, so innocent and pure and loyal to me. Kiss her. Touch her.
Nick: And let this beautiful woman back into your life.
Bridget: Mm.
Donna: Oh--oh, my God!
Pam: Bang, bang, bang! Get it? (Laughs) Isn't this a riot? I thought R.J. would just love this for his cowboy birthday party coming up. (Laughs) Oh, Donna, come on, have a sense of humor, why don't ya?
Donna: A-a sense of humor? Are you--are you crazy? I th-I thought--thought you--you--you were trying to kill me!
Pam: Oh, please. A sweet little thing like me from the Midwest trying to kill you? It's a toy. (Laughs) it's just a joke.
Donna: Oh, my God, you're--you're a nut job. You've got some serious problems, lady.
Pam: You think I'm the one who's got serious problems? How about you, Donna-- gold-digging your way into my sister's husband's heart?
Donna: You know, Eric-- Eric wanted me to make peace with you, and I tried, but it's obvious to me that you have other plans, like trying to kill me.
Pam: Taking me out for tea isn't gonna change anything. Where I come from, blood is thicker than a cup of earl grey.
Donna: Eric is going to hear about this, and he is going to fire you.
Pam: No, no, he won't.
Donna: Yes, yes, he will. Lemon bars and oatmeal cookies are only going to get you so far. Eventually, he's gonna see the real person you really are.
Pam: You know, I said this to you before, but I'm gonna say it to you again. This wedding of yours is never gonna happen.
Donna: And I will tell you one more time I am going to be Mrs. Eric Forrester, and nothing is gonna change that.
Pam: Well, you gotta wait a couple months anyway, so my suggestion to you is that you use the time very wisely. Hopefully by then Eric will have come to his senses and this hoochie coochie that you do will have worn off.
Donna: Hoochie coochie? What--what are you talking about? We're in love.
Pam: Eventually, this sexual spell that you have over Eric will go away, because he's a good man. He is a-a very good man-- way too good for you. But if he doesn't come to his senses, Donna, you better, or else.
Donna: Or else what? What? You're gonna kill me?
Pam: Oops, teatime's over. (Laughs) I forgot I've got things that I have to do at the office-- burning the midnight oil, don't you know? Toodles.
Donna: (Exhales deeply)
Brooke: I am worried what may happen if Bridget gives herself to Nick. She won't listen to me. So will you please talk to her?
Rick: I have. This is what she wants.
Brooke: You don't seem concerned about her at all.
Rick: You know, Mom, I really hate to say this, but you're really becoming more and more like Stephanie every day. I mean, you're consumed with everybody else's life except for your own.
Brooke: I'm just worried about Bridget.
Rick: I know that, but I-I really don't think that's the whole story, okay? Look, I've been a huge supporter, advocate, of your relationship with Nick, and obviously, that's not in the cards anymore, okay? So you need to accept that and move on. I mean, wh-what's going on with Ridge? I thought you two were supposed to be married by now or something.
Brooke: He's taking some time.
Rick: Would that have anything to do with the fact that you were at Taylor and Nick's custody hearing? You had no business being there.
Brooke: I had no choice!
Rick: As your son, I'm telling you to just be careful. You're in love with two men at the same time. And you're gonna hate me for saying this, and I know it's gonna be hard for you, but you really have to start thinking beyond the world of Brooke.
Brooke: I am. I am thinking about Bridget.
Rick: Nick and Ridge are frustrated beyond human belief. Bridget is--is a tad confused, and Taylor is devastated, quite frankly, all because of your inability to commit to one man.
Brooke: Oh, I see. So now everybody's problems are my fault?
Rick: Well, you can't make up your damn mind, Mom. It's either Ridge, or it's Nick. You can't have 'em both. And right now it--it--it can't be Nick, because Bridget is laying her heart out on the line for him, and you need to stay away. You stole Nick away from her once before, and it damn near killed her. I don't want to see that happen again.
Katie: Pretty impressive, Marone.
Nick: (Exhales deeply) (laughs)
Bridget: I know-- I know what you're thinking. You don't know if this is a good idea, huh?
Nick: (Sighs) I just don't want anybody to get hurt here.
Bridget: It's okay. You're not gonna get hurt.
Nick: (Laughs)
Bridget: And I'm not gonna get hurt either. It-- I know that this is what I want, Nick.
Nick: You're sure?
Bridget: Yes, I-yes. I know that there's no promises made tonight, and I don't have any expectations. All that matters is you and me right here and right now.
Bridget: I love hearing that song that you wrote for me.
[Song playing]
In my wildest dreams I never thought I'd see the day someone would change me you walked into my life and now I feel so alive I'm just not the same me you're my sole reason that I feel this way come and warm me like the sun you're my inspiration you're every breath I take you're my sole reason I laugh, I cry I live, I die and I love you're my sole reason that I feel this way come and warm me like the sun you're my inspiration you're every breath I take you're my sole reason I laugh, I cry I live, I die and I love you're my sole reason
Donna: Eric, would you please put her on the first plane back to Chicago?
Stephanie: Who in particular would you like to send back to Chicago?
Donna: I don't want to talk to you, Stephanie. Where's Eric?
Stephanie: Busy. What's wrong?
Donna: What's wrong?
Stephanie: Mm-hmm.
Donna: What's wrong-- your sister-- that's what's wrong. She's--she's--she's crazy. I-- I-I shouldn't even be surprised. It must run in the family.
Stephanie: I-I don't have any idea what you're talking about.
Donna: Oh, yeah, sure you don't. She--she pulled a gun on me. She threatened-- she threatened to kill me.
Stephanie: Pamela?
Donna: Yeah, yeah, Pamela, sweet little Miss Pamela. She's crazy. She's psycho!
Stephanie: Well, I admit Pam is a bit different, but, um... (clears throat) shooting people-- that runs in your family, doesn't it?
Donna: Call your sister off. Call her off. She threatened my life.
Stephanie: Have you been drinking?
Donna: What? No, I'm not drinking. My God, she's-- she's protecting you, isn't she? Admit it. Damn it, Stephanie, admit it.
Stephanie: Alcohol.
Donna: (Groans) I found it!
Rick: Mom, Bridget is with Nick right now. And who knows? They're probably making love as we speak. Why does this bother you so much? You should be happy for Bridget. She's crazy about this guy.
Brooke: I just don't think she realizes how vulnerable she is to Nick.
Rick: Will she get hurt? I-I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. But you know what? At least she's following her heart. That's something you've always preached to us.
Brooke: Oh, yes, yes. And I want her to be happy. I just don't think it's a good think for Bridget right now to be with Nick.
Rick: Mom... (laughs) that's enough, okay? Nick is--he's gone. He's out of the picture. He's over it. He's had enough. And if you're not careful, Ridge is gonna be out the door, too. And--and who knows? He may end up with Ashley.
Brooke: I thought you were with Ashley.
Rick: No.
Brooke: Oh. Well, in a way, I'm glad to hear that, 'cause I didn't think she was the right choice for you. She's a little too old for you. But I'm sure there is another woman in your life, right?
Rick: Yes, yes, there is. And--and I care very much for her.
Brooke: Well, of course you do. And she's a very lucky lady. I'm sure that she's "tailor"-made for you.
Rick: Um, look, Mom, I-I just want to warn you, okay? If you really want this, this family, this life with Ridge that you talk about all the time, you have to let Nick go. Or you know what? Ridge--he's gonna be gone, and you're gonna end up alone and bitter just like Stephanie. And I know you don't want that.
Brooke: No, I-I just think that Bridget is making a huge mistake.
Rick: Are you really worried that Bridget is making a mistake, or are you worried about the fact that you may have made the mistake by letting go of Nick?
Donna: Admit it, Stephanie, Pam is your little lapdog. She's doing your dirty work.
Stephanie: I have not asked Pam to do any such thing.
Donna: Oh, I don't buy that for a second. You tell your puppy dog to stay away from me.
Pam: Why am I not surprised to find you here berating my sister?
Donna: Oh, I just told Stephanie what you did, ya--ya psycho.
Stephanie: (Whispering) Did you try-- did you threaten to kill her?
Pam: Oh, threaten to kill her? Do I look like a murderer? What would I do-- beat her to death with a lemon bar? We went out to tea. Admittedly, it got a little testy, but I certainly didn't try to kill her.
Stephanie: Too bad. Well, there we have it, don't we? This is all in your imagination.
Donna: No, no, no, it isn't. She--she scared me half to death.
Stephanie: Oh, Pam, you're so sweet. Thank you. Honey, don't antagonize Donna.
Pam: I can't stand to see a woman like her doing what she's doing to you. You need someone in your corner fighting for you.
Stephanie: Oh, honey, I'm so happy to have you as my sister. And don't worry about me. I'm gonna be fine. I have a meeting to go to. However, I would like to caution the two of you. You know, you're going to be working, from now on, together here at the company, and-- new receptionist, new bimbo. I suggest that the two of you try and work everything out.
Donna: She might have bought the whole little "I'm worried about my sister" routine, but I know what a dangerous sociopath you really are.
Pam: My sister left, because she can't stomach it-- seeing you all smug and making yourself at home in her husband's office.
Donna: Yeah, well, she better get used to it. You can threaten me all you want, but I am going to be Mrs. Eric Forrester, and nothing is going to change that.
Pam: Stephanie is in pain. Can't you see that? She's unhappy. That makes me unhappy.
Donna: Look, you might have fooled Eric and Stephanie, but I know the truth about you. I know what a psycho you really are. Now get out.
Pam: Ohh!
Donna: Get out! I have work to do.
Pam: Bang, bang!
Donna: Aaaaaah!
Pam: (Laughs) Got ya. (Laughs)
Katie: Nicole.
Rick: You can't have it both ways, Mom. You chose Ridge. I really wish you hadn't made that choice, but you made it. And now you have to stick with your choice. You need to commit to something for once in your life, Mom.
Brooke: I am-- I am committed to Ridge. My concern for Bridget has nothing to do with anything else.
Rick: Okay, okay. Then--then--then just--just be happy for Bridget. This is her--her chance to find happiness with Nick. And you need to stay the hell out of that.
Brooke: So you're telling me not to protect my daughter?
Rick: No, that's not what I'm telling you. I'm telling you that Bridget lost Nick to you once before, and I don't want that to happen again. You need to understand your relationship with Nick. It was on again and off again before, and tonight it's off. It's off. Your relationship with Nick is over.
Nick: What is that look on your face?
Bridget: I'm just happy.
Bridget: Honestly, I never thought that this would happen again. Oh, no. I'm scaring you, aren't I?
Nick: (Chuckles)
Bridget: (Giggles)
Nick: I'm petrified.
Bridget: Well, I know that you, you know, a lot's happened in your life recently. So I just--
Nick: Let's just make this about us tonight, okay?
Bridget: Well, just understand that I know that are no promises after tonight.
Nick: We'll take it one step at a time, okay?
Bridget: Yeah, one step at a time. Mmm.
