Stephanie: I'm gonna give you one last chance to tell me the truth, or I mean it, your brother will go to jail.

Donna: Oh, stop it, Stephanie. How dare you barge in here and accuse me like this. You won. I left Eric. But if--if he's not with you, that's your problem. But he's not here.

Stephanie: (Laughs) why would you think I would believe anything that you say when I know that he was here? And I will find him.

Stephanie: Oh, no. He wouldn't be that stupid.

Donna: You get out of here, or I'm calling the police.

Stephanie: I am looking out that window.

Donna: Get out. Stop it, Stephanie. Stop it!

Stephanie: You stop it! He's my husband. I'm going to look out the damn window!

(Window banging)

Katie: Donna, where the hell are you? You're supposed to be at Brooke's. Call us when you get this. (Cell phone beeps)

Katie: Oh, God. I'm telling you, if Stephanie catches Donna with Eric, our family is doomed.

Brooke: She knows that we're counting on her. And she also knows that meeting with Eric would be a huge risk. She doesn't want to jeopardize Storm's freedom. I'm sure of it.

Hope: Mommy!

R.J.: Mommy!

Brooke: (Laughs) Hi, kids. Ooh!

R.J.: Mommy, we missed you.

Brooke: Oh.

Hope: We brought you a doggie bag.

Brooke: Oh, that's so sweet. Thank you.

Katie: Why don't we go upstairs and get ready for bed and give Mommy and Daddy some alone time?

Ridge: Thank you, Katie.

Brooke: We'll be up soon to tuck you in, all right?

Katie: Let me know if Donna calls. Come on. Let's go.

Ridge: I know that look. What's wrong?

Donna: Look, Stephanie, I can explain.

Stephanie: Well, he's not out there.

Donna: He's not? Well, of course he's not. That--that's what I've been telling you.

Stephanie: Donna, I know that he was here.

Rocky: Eric Forrester out on a ledge in your birthday suit. There's gotta be a woman inside. Stephanie's up there by now. Let the fireworks begin. (Laughs)

Donna: For crying out loud, are you satisfied now? I told you Eric wasn't here, and obviously he's not, so get out.

Stephanie: Not so fast, missy. I'm not through with you. I hired a private investigator. He followed him here. So you're not home free. (Doorbell rings)

Nick: Bridget? Bridget... did you change your mind about dinner?

Katie: Hi.

Nick: Hello.

Katie: You were expecting Bridget, right? Uh, that was her car driving away, wasn't it?

Nick: It was, yes.

Katie: Are you gonna invite me in?

Nick: Come in.

Katie: I know this is an unexpected visit. I just wanted to talk to you about Brooke. You can't be a part of my sister's life anymore.

Nick: Really?

Katie: She's with Ridge. She's happy. She has a child with him. Things are finally starting to calm down. I-I think you and Brooke just need to stay away from each other.

Nick: What was his name?

Katie: Who?

Nick: The guy that hurt you so badly. It'll wait. Before you answer that... (slurps) would you, um, care to join me for dinner? I was just putting it on the table.

Katie: Uh...

Ridge: Logan, tell me what's going on. If there's something that's bothering you, I need to know.

Brooke: There was. But not anymore. As you know, I've been so concerned about little Jack, and... you've been so patient with me. And I just want to thank you for that.

Ridge: I'm fighting for our family, fighting for Hope and R.J., for the life they want, the life they deserve.

Brooke: Well, I hope you believe me when I say I want that, too.

Donna: Stephanie, you have no right to be here.

Stephanie: Excuse me? I am looking for my husband.

Donna: He's not here.

Stephanie: (Laughs) Honey, the private investigator called me after he followed him to this building. So there's no use in your standing there and denying this.

Stephanie: I thought he was still sleeping with you, but I wasn't absolutely certain until I found the pills. I've counted them. I know he's using them.

Donna: What pills?

Donna: Oh, Eric does not need that kind of enhancing. He's all natural.

Stephanie: (Laughs) Honey, he hasn't been au naturel for years.

Eric: (Clears throat)

Rocky: Sorry, Forrester. Strictly business.

(Camera shutter clicking)

Stephanie: Let's just cut the B.S. don't insult my intelligence by denying that he was here.

Donna: Okay. Okay, fine. He was here.

Stephanie: Thank you.

Donna: But only to give me a Valentine's Day present, a-and that's it. I stayed true to my end of the bargain. Believe me, Stephanie, I wanted him to stay, but I sent him away.

Stephanie: And why would I believe you now?

Donna: Oh, my God. I-I don't know what else to do. It's not my fault that he still loves me and doesn't want to be with you. 

Katie: The chicken's good.

Nick: Oh, glad you like it. More wine?

Katie: No, thanks.

Nick: So... are you gonna tell me what his name was?

Katie: Right. You mean the guy that broke my heart?

Nick: Yeah, that's right. We're playing by your rules, Stephanie. My brother is a free man and... and you're with Eric again. Now all you have to do is... is get him to love you again. Good luck. Now get out. You get outta here before I call the super and have you thrown out.

Donna: Oh, my God, Eric!

Eric: Oh.

Donna: Oh, my God. You're okay.

Eric: Okay. All right.

Donna: Oh, my God, honey bear.

Eric: Okay, I gotta get in.

Donna: Honey bear, I thought I lost you. I thought--I thought you'd fallen. I didn't know. I didn't know what happened. I didn't know--

Eric: Donna, where is s-- she's gone, right? Is she gone?

Donna: I got rid of her.

Eric: You did?

Donna: I got rid of her.

Eric: You're incredible.

Donna: I know. I know.

Eric: We pulled it off. We pulled it off.

Donna: I know! (Cell phone beeps)

Rocky: A picture's worth a thousand words. (Laughs) Oh, my, my, my, Eric. You are gonna have a lot of explaining to do.

Katie: Look, I would never suggest that you use Bridget as a substitute for Brooke.

Nick: Bridget and I have a very special bond. We were in love, you know, married. It took us three times before we got married. Did you know that? We were planning on having a family, but the good lord above didn't feel the time was right. Now... if I open... that relationship up... a lot of feelings are involved, and I don't want to hurt Bridget again.

Katie: I don't think you would deliberately hurt her. But this could be the perfect time for you to begin a relationship with her. You never had a chance to make things work before. It makes sense. She's an amazing person. She has a connection with Jack. Look... I know that you and Brooke have been through a lot. I know that it may seem comfortable to turn to her. But are you sure you're not just infatuated with a relationship that doesn't really exist anymore? Can I ask you a question?

Nick: Well, it certainly hasn't stopped you up to now.

Katie: Are you really in love with my sister? Really, right now?

Nick: I think I'll keep that to myself.

Katie: Think about what I said. This could be your chance to reconnect with Bridget. Why go down that road again with my sister? I mean, why? Haven't you done that? It never ends well... for either one of you. Think about it. Thanks for dinner.

Brooke: Mm.

Ridge: Mm.

Brooke: (Laughs) I could stay like this forever.

Ridge: Oh, yeah. Me, too.

Brooke: The whole world just seems to melt away when we're in each other's arms.

Brooke: Mm.

Ridge: I can think of two people that, uh... probably shouldn't be in each other's arms right now.

Brooke: Eric and Donna.

Ridge: Mm-hmm.

Brooke: Well, uh, Eric broke it off with Donna. She was devastated. That's what she told me.

Ridge: Mother's not buying it.

Brooke: She isn't?

Ridge: She hired a private investigator to track Dad's every move.

Brooke: What?

Ridge: Yeah.

Brooke: That's ridiculous.

Ridge: Well, apparently not. She got a call from the P.I. Dad's somewhere he shouldn't be right now.

Rocky: Listen, once you check these photos out, you may want to stop the presses.

Man: All right, hold on. I'm downloading them right now. Is that-- is that Eric Forrester?

Rocky: In the flesh.

Man: Where did you get these?

Rocky: If you want 'em, you gotta keep quiet. Deal?

Man: You got it.

Rocky: You know where to send the check.

Man: You bet. Looks like we'll be baring the naked truth about Eric Forrester on the front page of tomorrow's style section. (Laughs) Unbelievable.

Donna: We're safe. She's never gonna find out... honey bear. (Laughs)

Eric: No. It's our little secret.

Donna: Our secret forever?

Eric: Forever.

Donna: Ever and ever?

Eric: Ever and ever.

Donna: (Laughs)

Eric: Come here. Come here. Oh, God.

Man: That's fine. Lock it up and set it.

Man: Okay, boss, how about we go with this headline?

Man: Oh, that's perfect.

Stephanie: If you lied to me tonight, Donna... that's it. End of story for you and your brother.

(Telephone ringing)

Stephanie: Well, where are you, Eric? Why aren't you home?
