Brooke: Oh, Donna I was afraid of something like this. Hi, Mariah, it's Brooke Logan. Is Nick in? He's on the other line? No, it's okay. It's probably something I should do in person, thanks.
Clarke: Did you see this?
Storm: Yeah. Question is, has Donna.
Clarke: Well, she assumed she was a big hit in New York.
Storm: Wait a second, you already talked to her.
Clarke: Yeah, she's on her way back from the airport right now.
Storm: And?
Clarke: And I knew this was a bad a idea. Having a fashion show in the Big Apple just days after Forrester gobbles up all of the high-end specialty boutiques worldwide. We were moving to fast.
Storm: Yeah, well you know what nick said.
Clarke: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's like a freight train keep the momentum moving. Part of the big publicity push for the Jackie M expansion.
Storm: Well, it was a gutsy move, even the reviews give us that.
Clarke: They were also pretty complimentary about my designs.
Storm: I just wish they were as complimentary of Donna.
Donna: Somebody mention my name.
Storm: Hey, sis good to see you darling.
Donna: Talk about a whirlwind trip. I have been going non-stop for days.
Clarke: Well, welcome back beautiful.
Storm: That's great.
Donna: Is that what I think it is? I have been so busy that I haven't even had a chance to see anything. How'd we do?
Clarke: Oh, you know?
Donna: They say, "I don't have what it takes to be lead anything. That I'll never be in the same league as my sister, Brooke. No matter how, long or hard I try." Screw them as long as Nick still believes in me.
Mariah: Tomorrow you have a conference call at 2:00. Oh, and Brooke Logan called.
Nick: About?
Mariah: She didn't say.
Nick: Okay.
Taylor: Oh, hello Mariah.
Mariah: Hi, Dr. Hayes.
Nick: Well, are you here to ravish me again? Like you did on Valentine's night?
Taylor: I believe we shared a kiss. Not that it was any ordinary kiss.
Nick: You've been analyzing this haven't you?
Taylor: Actually, that's why I'm here. I wanted to talk to you about something before things go any further, between us. If they go any further.
Phoebe: This is my friend Madison, Madison, C.J. Garrison.
C.J.: Madison, nice to meet you.
Madison: Nice to meet you.
C.J.: Why don't you ladies have a seat I'll be right with you. Don't go anywhere.
Madison: We won't. So, that's why he's why he's --
Phoebe: Yeah and Rick's best friend.
Madison: He's cute, is he going with anyone?
Phoebe: I don't know, I mean he stays really busy though, shuttling between coffee house chains.
Madison: What's he doing back in LA?
Phoebe: Well, his mom's not feeling that well so he wanted to be closer by. Plus, with the new coffee house opening around the corner --
Madison: Oh, he thought he'd check out the competition.
Phoebe: Yeah, and take the steam out of their opening by moving karaoke night.
Madison: Well, it's always been a big hit. What?
Rick: Hey!
C.J.: Hey!
Rick: What's going?
C.J.: There he is! How the hell have you been man, it's been way to long.
Rick: I've been great man. It has absolutely. Absolutely. You know what were both back in LA right now and I don't see any reason -- umm, Phoebe's here.
C.J.: Yes, she is, looking pretty darn hot too. You, know, I mean, for a kid.
Rick: For a kid yeah.
Phoebe: Is he coming over here?
Rick: Is who coming over?
Phoebe: Hi! Hi.
Rick: Hi, there. Hello, how you doing, Madison?
Madison: Okay.
Phoebe: Well, join us.
Rick: Thank you. I will.
C.J.: All right! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the moment you've all been waiting for -- Insomnia Coffee House's most popular night of the week -- karaoke. [Cheers and applause] Come on, give it up. All right, I like that. Yeah, you're getting up here, you know you are. All right, now I know we got a lot of budding Justin and Christina's out there.
Audience: Yeah right.
C.J.: Exactly. So, without further ado let's pop in our earplugs and put our hands together for Casey!
[Audience cheers and applause]
Rick: You having fun yet?
Phoebe: I am now.
Storm: Nick was with someone, so we'll just have to wait. Don't take what the press says seriously.
Donna: You know when Nick made me lead spokesmodel, it really gave my confidence a boost, you know? I thought maybe just, maybe I'd finally be out of my sister's shadow.
Storm: Well, try not to let it bother you. Letting it get to me?
Storm: Yeah.
Donna: Okay, fine. Fine. It bugs the hell out of me. But what am I supposed to do about it? I mean, I could discover the cure for cancer, and they'd still say, Brooke Logan's sister discovered the cure for cancer. I'll never be as smart as Brooke. I'll never be as beautiful as Brooke, and I'll never be as talented as Brooke. Brooke!
Nick: So, you're dumping me?
Taylor: No.
Nick: Oh, thank God.
Taylor: I just -- I want to be completely up front about our relationship or however you describe what's happening between us.
Nick: Well, what do you think is happening between us?
Taylor: I'm not sure.
Nick: You're not sure about what's happening or you're not sure you thought about what's happening?
Taylor: I just -- I don't want you to misunderstand what I'm saying. I've just been replaying the things you said, the things we both said in my head all day.
Nick: We should have kissed more and talked less.
Taylor: No. Not that I wouldn't have minded doing that.
Nick: Well, the truth be told.
Taylor: Let's just say in the cold light of day, I, you know, started to see things a little more clearly, and I'm hearing this voice telling me that maybe I should slow down. And I think maybe that would be good advice, especially given the way my past two relationships had turned out.
Nick: Well, don't look to me for advice.
Taylor: I just want you to tell me you understand.
Nick: I understand. And I would also like you to come over tonight.
Taylor: I'm serious.
Nick: So am I. I'm very serious.
Taylor: You're not going to make this any easier for me, are you?
Nick: Answer this and I promise you it will be easier. Did you have a good time last night?
Taylor: It was one of my favorite valentine's day ever. Thanks to you.
Brooke: Am I interrupting?
Casey singing: playing you are the man to hold you so tight. Won't disappear after all night yeah. Oh, yeah. I'm your kind of man
Rick: Can you believe this clown?
Phoebe: Isn't this like his third song.
C.J.: Yeah, and the natives are getting restless.
Rick: C.J, it's time to kick his butt his off the stage. Seriously. Now.
C.J.: You know what? I got a better idea. Why don't you get up there and show everybody how it's done?
Rick: Yeah, okay. Yeah, absolutely not.
C.J.: I know you know some -- and I know you want to use it. Ladies, help me out.
Madison: Why don't you and Phoebe do a duet? What you guys did at your mom's engagement party.
C.J.: Nice. Nice.
Rick: You told her about that?
Madison: They were amazing. So I've heard.
C.J.: All right, that's all I needed to hear for before making it happen. Come on you two.
Rick: Well, I guess we don't have a choice.
C.J: Your 15 minutes are over right now. Let's here for Casey everybody. [Applause] All right. Don't quit your day job. All right. Stick around because we got the real deal coming up right now. Rick and Phoebe. Hop on up here. Come on, you guys. Let's hear it for them. [Applause] Rick and Phoebe.
Rick: That will work. They say we're young and we don't know. We won't find out if until we grow. I don't know if all that's true. You got me and babe, I've got you babe. I got you, babe. Nick: So, 9:00 at the house. Is that okay?
Taylor: I'll be there.
Nick: Good. I got a message you called.
Brooke: Obviously you seen this article about Donna.
Nick: I have.
Brooke: You still have faith in her?
Nick: I do.
Brooke: Clarke, too? Even though his designs weren't panned the way Donna was, it doesn't mean he's won over the industry.
Nick: You're here because of the Forresters, aren't you? Because of Forrester Originals. And you want me to carry them in Jackie M.
Brooke: You still haven't made your decision.
Nick: I haven't.
Brooke: The Forresters don't think you're going to.
Nick: The Forresters are the competitors.
Brooke: And what about me? That goes for me, too? My God, Nick. What is our relationship been reduced to? Competitors? I care what happens to you. I don't want to see you make a mistake in your business, in your personal life. Especially your personal life. And this thing that you have going on with Taylor. She is on the rebound. And so are you. I mean, just to think that the two of you would get involved is just --
Taylor: It just drives you right up the wall. Excuse me? I forgot my purse. I don't know, it seems like I'm forgetting a lot of things whenever I'm around you these days. I don't know why.
[Intercom beeps]
Nick: Yeah? No, no. I'll be right down. Looks like there's a little emergency downstairs. I got to go handle it, so -- you two –
Brooke: Just for the record, it doesn't drive me up the wall. I don't want to see Nick hurt.
Taylor: No, what you want is to have Ridge and keep Nick on a string. If you look the word "selfish" in the dictionary, there would be your picture. Are you like me?
Phoebe: This is your truck?
Rick: Hey, don't knock the wheels. It's been through a lot --
Phoebe: Looks like ancient.
Rick: It's like a classic.
Phoebe: Well, can I ride?
Rick: A ride? What happened to Madison?
Phoebe: Well, she ran into this guy she kind of likes, so I didn't feel like being a third wheel.
Rick: Phoebe?
Phoebe: Let's get going, okay? The bottom could drop out any minute. And I'm not just talking about the sky.
Rick: No, no.
Phoebe: What do you mean, no?
Rick: I don't think you should get in the truck.
Phoebe: Why not?
Brooke: I'm trying to be selfish, I just --
Taylor: Can't stop interfering in Nick's life?
Brooke: I just want you both to see what I see.
Taylor: What you see is a woman who is becoming close to a man you're still not over. And because that woman is me --
Brooke: Yes, yes, that's right. I am concerned because that woman is you. You're just recently involved with Thorne and you don't get rid of those feelings overnight.
Taylor: How would you know what I feel? Really, Brooke, I mean, not that's it any of your business. But Thorne and I did what we thought was best for Ally, thanks to your daughter, Hope.
Brooke: Maybe she'll still come around.
Taylor: Not that it's any of your business once again, but Thorne didn't want me to put my life on hold.
Brooke: Because Thorne is a sweet considerate man.
Taylor: Well, okay, Brooke, if you're so concerned about Thorne and you care about him so much, why don't you go check on him? I'm just trying to live my life here. I'm trying to get my life together and see whatever it is I have in my future.
Brooke: And you think Nick is in your future.
Taylor: I don't know, but I'm certainly open to exploring that idea.
Brooke: By spending every single moment you can with the man.
Taylor: I would like to get to know Nick better. And while I am --
Brooke: I guess I should keep my distance.
Taylor: But you've already made a choice. You chose another man.
Brooke: Your ex-husband. Now, that's why you've taken mine.
Taylor: That is so ridiculous, Brooke, that I would actually be going after Nick to get even with you?
Brooke: Actually, you wouldn't do that, because you know how close Nick and I really are.
Taylor: Well, were. Because now, you're engaged to Ridge. So, when is the wedding?
Brooke: I don't know. A date hasn't been set yet.
Taylor: What's the hold up? A little trouble in paradise?
Brooke: Of course not.
Taylor: Oh, yeah. Not that you would let on if there were any problems.
Brooke: Oh, my God. Ridge and I are getting married this time, Taylor. I can promise you that.
Taylor: Well, that's good. And you can have him. You know, I mean, you two are destined to live happily ever after. That's what you always wanted. So, why do you feel this need to worry about who Nick spends his time with?
Brooke: I just don't think that you two are good for each other.
Taylor: Oh. Is that your way of saying I can never be as passionate or as sexual with Nick the way you were? I don't know about that, Brooke. I got to tell you. Nick is a really good kisser. He brings out a side of me no man ever has. Including Ridge. We spent a really wonderful Valentine's evening together. It was probably the best I've ever had. And we already have some very special plans tonight. So, I don't think you need to worry about us. Things are going really great. And I think they are only going to get better. And you want to know how I know that? Because you are going to be so wrapped up in Ridge and your new marriage with Ridge, that you won't have time to be interfering in anything that's going on between nick and me. Especially since you know I won't put up with it. And I won't, Brooke. Make no mistake about that.
