Christian: Bridget, I can't give you this immunization if there's a chance you could be pregnant.

Bridget: Well, I mean, there is a chance, but just barely.

Christian: Even the slightest chance. Any chance at all.

Bridget: You just -- you better give me the pregnancy test. Just in case.

Shane: Are you sure about this? You really want me to move in with you?

Phoebe: Yes, yes. You already said you don't have any family here, right? You don't have any friends who can take care of you?

Shane: No.

Phoebe: Then, yes. I'm sure. It's settled. As soon as you get out of here, you're coming home with us.

Taylor: Phoebe, hold on.

Phoebe: What? Just for a few days to recover. I feel so bad.

Taylor: Which is why, sweetheart, I just said that I would cover all of his medical expenses and I'll get him a nurse if he needs one. But I really do think he'll be more comfortable if he's recovering in his own home.

Phoebe: Mom, he won't have a home if he can't pay his rent.

Taylor: I will cover his lost wages. I'll cover your lost wages.

Phoebe: Mom, he doesn't need a check, he needs a friend. I mean, what's the problem? We have a huge house -- Steffy's in England, Thomas moved out. We have plenty of room. Why are you looking at me like that?

Shane: You barely even know me, phoebe.

Phoebe: I owe it to you. And I know it's the right thing to do. And my mom knows it, too.

Jackie: Okay, let's see our beautiful artwork, shall we?

[Jackie gasps] Oh, two roses! Aren't they beautiful? Let me see. Not as beautiful as you are.

Nick: Hey!

Jackie: That's Mommy!

Hope: Mommy, Nick! Look! Tattoos!

Brooke: Oh, wow!

Nick: Tattoos? Look at that! My goodness!

Jackie: She actually wanted them on her arm like her Uncle Nick.

Brooke: No!

Jackie: But we thought these would be a little bit better.

Brooke: Oh, definitely.

Nick: These are so cool. I want one just like that. Where are they? Pick one out for me. Which one should I have?

Jackie: How about "love"?

Nick: Oh, my favorite. Show me how you put these on.

Brooke: So, is R.J. still sleeping?

Jackie: Yes. Actually, I'm gonna go check on him. Hope, let's go and show your brother your tattoos, shall we?

Jackie: Nick to see you, hun.

Nick: Love you, Mom.

Jackie: I love you, too. Come on, darling. They're so pretty!

Brooke: Hope loves you so much.

Nick: God, I love her, too.

Brooke: I am so blessed to have four wonderful children. And one incredible husband.

Nick: What do you think about us having a child of our own?

Christian: Even if you're almost positive you're not pregnant, it's always a good idea to check. With drugs like these, you don't want to mess around.

Bridget: Believe me, I agree. It's definitely better to be safe.

[Bridget remembering]

Bridget: Oh, Nick. Oh, God, I hate to see you like this. Oh, God. I am so sorry. I hate to see you hurting like this. I just want to take the pain away.

Nick: It's not going away.

Bridget: Oh, honey. I'm so sorry.

Nick: I don't know what's gonna happen when I tell your mother.

Bridget: You can't tell her, Nick.

Nick: We're starting over.

Bridget: If you care about me at all, you will never say a word. Not one. Not ever.

Christian: Bridget, just take this to the restroom. I'll have a tech collect the sample and take it to the lab. We'll have the results tomorrow.

Bridget: Could you put a rush on it? The sooner we get the results, the sooner I can get immunized and get to Africa.

Christian: Of course. I'll mark it stat. We'll have it right away.

Bridget: Great, thanks.

Christian: Let's meet back in your office in a few minutes, okay?

Bridget: It's negative. It's negative. I can't be pregnant. Oh, God, not like this.

Taylor: Like I said, we are going to cover all of Shane's medical expenses and get him a nurse. Whatever he needs --

Phoebe: Mom, he doesn't need a nurse, he needs a friend.

Shane: No, it's okay, phoebe. Phoebe, it's all right. It's all right. I understand if your mom doesn't feel comfortable having a stranger in the house. It's ok.

Phoebe: What? Do you think he's going to hurt us or something?

Taylor: That is really rude, Phoebe.

Phoebe: Then what's the problem?

Taylor: I simply don't think it's a very good idea because, like the doctor just said, he just had surgery and he needs to get a lot of rest. It's going to be awhile --

Phoebe: Which -- he can get rest at our house.

Taylor: Shane, would you excuse us for just a minute? I need to talk to Phoebe for a minute alone. Come on.

Shane: Sure. No problem.

Phoebe: Sorry.

Shane: I'll be right here.

Bridget: I'm getting myself all worked up over nothing. The chance of me being pregnant -- it's just one night. It was just one night. But what if I am?

[Bridget remembering]

Nick: Hey -- whatever your name is going to be -- it's your dad. And I'm hear to give you a little advice. Stay in there as long as you can. It's nice and warm and safe, just floating around. It's choppy seas with me and your mom out here. So, that's not for you to think about right now. Hopefully, I'll have that all smoothed out by the time you make your big entrance. Or exit, depending on how you look at it. I'll be right there to catch you, and I'll put you in your mom's arms.

Bridget: God, Nicole, everything would have been so different if you had lived. This can't be happening to me.

Brooke: Another child?

Nick: I realize we haven't discussed this.

Brooke: Well, it's been a very complicated issue for you. For awhile, you thought that R.J. was yours, and then Dino. And then you lost a child -- Nicole. And that was really hard for you. Being a daddy was something that you were really looking forward to.

Nick: But technically, I am. I have two beautiful step-kids, and I couldn't be happier.

Brooke: So, does that mean you don't want to have a baby?

Nick: Well, I don't know. You'd be the one having it. So, you tell me. Is this something you want to do?

Taylor: Phoebe, what are you doing?

Phoebe: Mom, I'm trying to do the right thing.

Taylor: Look, I know you feel guilty, but there are limits to what we can do.

Phoebe: What if it was me? I mean, how far would you want someone to go to help me? Mom, that's the problem with this world. Nobody cares about helping each other anymore.

Taylor: We are doing quite a bit for Shane.

Phoebe: We're paying for a lot of stuff. I'm talking about actually doing something for him. Mom, making a difference, taking action? I mean, a couple of days in our house -- what could be the harm in that? 

Taylor: Phoebe, you're a very sweet and compassionate young woman. That's what I love about you. You just don't understand how complicated this situation can be --

Phoebe: Mom, it's not complicated. Either we do something for him or we don't.

Taylor: There are a lot of ways to help people.

Phoebe: So you're saying no?

Taylor: It's my responsibility as your mother to help you make the right decision, okay? You cannot just invite strangers into our home without talking to me first.

Phoebe: You invited hector without asking me.

Taylor: Hector just lost his eyesight. And we've known him for a long time. We don't know the first thing about this guy. I mean, we don't know anything about him. You have to be a little more cautious about people.

Phoebe: You didn't used to be like that.

Taylor: What's this really about? Are you feeling guilty? I know what that's like. Sweetheart, I live with it every day.

Phoebe: I just want to do the right thing.

Taylor: And you feel you need to make up for something, be honest, because we didn't do that about Aunt Darla. And Thorne.

Phoebe: Yeah.

Taylor: Oh, sweetheart, you've been through so much lately. You need to be thinking about other things, not this. You only just started back at school, honey, you need to think about yourself --

Phoebe: Mom, I need to do this. I need to help him.

Taylor: He seems like a nice guy.

Phoebe: He is. He is.

Taylor: What about Hector?

Phoebe: Mom, that's even better. Then we won't be alone in the house with him.

Taylor: Well, maybe a few days.

Phoebe: Maybe?

Taylor: Until, maybe, he has some other arrangements.

Phoebe: Thank you. Thank you!

Taylor: Okay. I mean, he did get injured on our property, so --

Phoebe: Yeah, we owe it to him. And he's a really nice guy. I can tell. I promise.

Nick: Well, this isn't something that you just make assumptions about, so I thought I would ask. I thought I'd bring it up. So, is it something you'd be interested in?

Brooke: Well, I love kids. And I know I would adore yours. They'd be funny.

Nick: So, then it's a possibility?

Brooke: I guess it could be a possibility, whether we plan for it or not.

Nick: Well, a possibility you'd consider, possibly?

Brooke: It's just that -- when hope and R.J. get a little older, like they are now, it's easier to do more things. We could travel like we wanted to. You know, you could teach them to sail and go to all these exotic places that you tell them all those wonderful stories about. And with a baby --

Nick: Sailing off to Fiji on a whim isn't in the cards.

Brooke: No. But, if you want

Nick: Brooke, your kids may not be my blood, but they're my kids. You know, I meant that when I said it.

Brooke: I know. So do they.

Nick: You know, me being a father, having my own child, maybe it's not meant to happen. And that's okay.

Brooke: Is it?

Nick: I'm raising two beautiful children with a woman I love. And I couldn't be happier.

Bridget: Oh, Christian. Thank God, I feel like I've been waiting forever.

Christian: Well, you don't have to wait anymore. I've got your test results right here.

Shane: Shane, what are you doing? Trying to take advantage of these people when all they want to do is help. I mean, they don't even know I was going to blackmail them. They don't even know I was there. And that I even saw the whole thing. And this phoebe -- she's such a sweetheart. She's so kind, she's so pretty. Shane, you are so dumb. What are you doing?

Phoebe: Hey.

Shane: Hey.

Phoebe: It is okay if I come back in?

Shane: Yeah, come on back in. Where's your mom?

Phoebe: Actually, I wanted to apologize for what she said. She doesn't think you're a bad person.

Shane: No, that's okay, Phoebe. She doesn't want anybody in her house. That's okay.

Phoebe: I just -- I didn't want you to get the wrong idea about her just because she didn't say yes right away.

Shane: Wait a second. Are you saying you talked her into it?

Phoebe: For a few days, yeah.

Shane: A few days in a Beverly Hills mansion?

Phoebe: Yes.

Shane: Oh, my God. It sounds great.

Phoebe: And you'll be our guest. You won't have to do anything, except focus on getting better.

Shane: I don't have to do anything?

Phoebe: No.

Shane: I think I'm feeling a little better already. Phoebe, you are the sweetest. Thank you. Come here.

Nick: Sounds pretty quiet, doesn't it?

Brooke: It does.

Nick: I think mom's got it handled.

Brooke: If R.J.'s sleeping, he's going to be down for awhile.

Nick: Well, why don't we head up to the love shack then, huh?

Brooke: Yeah, they probably wouldn't even notice that we're gone.

Nick: No screaming.

Brooke: It could be a little risky, though.

Nick: Well, we'll lock the door.

Brooke: No, I'm not talking about that kind of risk. I'm saying if we're not sure if we want a baby, then we better be a little more careful and not so spontaneous.

Nick: Okay. I meant what I said before. About your kids being mine. You know that.

Brooke: You really would do anything for me, wouldn't you?

Nick: I really would.

Brooke: You know, for the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm on solid ground. And I'm really, truly happy. And I just love you so much. You make me feel so safe. Do you know how much that means to me? Do you know? I'm going to run upstairs. You better follow me in a few minutes.

Bridget: Well, just tell me. Am I pregnant?

Christian: Well, I didn't just do a pregnancy test. I had a CBC and chem panel done, as well. If you're going to be in Africa for several months, I wanted to make sure that you don't have any health problems waiting to crop up --

Bridget: Oh, but I am going to Africa? So, you can give me the immunizations.

Christian: Well, let me just look at something --

Bridget: What does it say, Christian? Just tell me. Am I pregnant or not?
