Brooke: I'm not sure if you can replace me as spokesmodel for Brooke's bedroom, but there's only one way to find out.

Donna: I have to try out?

Brooke: I have to see if you can model.

Donna: I have no interest in modeling. Besides, Brooke, you are Brooke's bedroom. To even consider giving up your role as model spokesperson. The line is you, Brooke. What you and ridge created together -- what you'd still be sharing if Nick hadn't interfered!

Brooke: Oh, careful, Donna, that's my husband you're talking about.

Donna: But to make you walk away from something you love as much as the bedroom line is just --

Brooke: He didn't make me do anything. After everything that happened with Ridge and Stephanie, I can understand why Nick would have some issues where Ridge is concerned.

Donna: Maybe you're the one with the issues. Never mind.

Brooke: If you have something to say, just say it.

Donna: You're still in love with Ridge.

Brooke: Even Nick realizes that my feelings for Ridge won't just vanish.

Donna: You're staying away from Ridge because you know the position you'll find yourself in with him if you don't.

Brooke: Oh, my God, enough already!

Donna: You wanted to hear it.

Brooke: No, you're wrong. I understand that you're concerned about me. But Ridge is my past. And Nick is my future.

Donna: Can Nick make you as happy as Ridge has? Brooke, I want that for you, always.

Dante: Bridget? Bridget? Hey.

Bridget: Hey.

Dante: Thinking about Darla?

Bridget: Yeah. You know, in all the craziness, the ones you could always count on -- were Thorne and Darla. I just needed to go somewhere and talk, have someone listen, I could go to my brothers. I could talk to my sister-in-law. They were so grateful to have each other. And the way she was with Alexandria was just -- I can't believe she's gone. And I can't believe our kids won't have Aunt Darla to talk to.

Dante: "Our kids"? Are you saying --

Bridget: No -- no, I'm not pregnant. We just started trying, you silly goose.

Dante: You'd still like to be, right?

Bridget: What do you think?

Dante: You want to know what I think?

Bridget: I think I just might.

Brooke: Nick's already brought so much happiness into to my life. And Hope is crazy about him.

Donna: And Bridget gave him up, let her heart be broken, for you.

Brooke: Now, what does that have to do with my feelings for Nick?

Donna: It has everything to do with them. If being with Nick instead of Ridge is about putting your children's needs first then --

Brooke: No, no, it's not. I love Nick. Why can't you seem to understand that?

Donna: Because for your entire adult life, you've been in love with Ridge. You are so close to having everything you've ever dreamed of -- ridge, success as a model, CEO of Forrester Creations, acceptance from the entire Forrester family. How could you possibly want to give that up?

Brooke: My life has changed. I've charted a new course.

Donna: Charted a new course? What are you, Captain Logan now?

Brooke: Oh, Donna, please.

Donna: Well, your newly-charted course isn't gonna make you happy.

Brooke: That's enough. Why don't you just do something for me and get dressed. By the way, I am happy.

Dante: I need to go into Forrester. Everyone is helping out while Thorne's --

Bridget: Okay.

Dante: Look, we recently started talking about having a child of our own, right?

Bridget: Yeah.

Dante: When was the last time you had your period?

Bridget: I don't know. When was the last time?

Dante: Six weeks?

Bridget: Have you been counting?

Dante: I think the last time was when we were watching the basketball playoffs.

Bridget: Was it?

Dante: Yeah.

Bridget: That was six weeks ago?

Dante: Mm-hmm.

Bridget: Gosh, I guess with everything going on, I just lost track of time.

Dante: Do you think you still could be?

Bridget: I guess we should find out. We should take a test.

Dante: Well, look, I don't have to go into Forrester right away. I could go to a drugstore and pick out a pregnancy test. I mean, you don't need a prescription for that, do you?

Bridget: No, you don't need a prescription. I can do it. You can go on into Forrester. I'll come by as soon as I know.

Dante: It doesn't take long to find out, right?

Bridget: No, just a few minutes. Go, go. Go get in the shower.

Brooke: You could've been a surgeon.

Nick: What's the challenge in that? I'm gonna call her "The good ship Marone."

Brooke: Well, then I really hate to ask.

Nick: Then please don't ask.

Brooke: Could you move all this to another room?

Nick: Another room? There's hundreds of pieces here.

Brooke: Yeah, well, you know, your idea about having Donna replace me as the Brooke's bedroom model?

Nick: Yeah.

Brooke: Well, she's considering it.

Nick: Oh? That's good. Why do I have to move all this to another room?

Brooke: Well, I need to put Donna through the paces. I have to see if she can handle the runway. Could you help me with this?

Nick: Oh, so you're gonna teach her the strides, huh?

Brooke: Yeah, well, there's a little more to it than that.

Nick: What's there to it, really? I mean, you walk to the end of the runway, you turn around, you wave. Do models wave?

Brooke: You know, this idea of having Donna do this, I think it's great, but it does concern me about her lack of experience.

Nick: Oh.

Brooke: Okay, come on, help me. One, two, three --

Nick: Where are we going?

Brooke: This way. Pull. Oh!

Nick: You know, maybe I should stick around and give a man's opinion, huh?

Donna: Uh, I don't think so.

Nick: Well, I did see most of it this morning, if you remember.

Brooke: Donna, you're going to have to get over this modesty issue. Men are going to watch you on the catwalk, they're going to see you on TV.

Nick: Catalogs, where they'll order goodies for their sweethearts.

Brooke: Of course. So, let's get to work. Take off the robe.

Donna: You -- you're really gonna stay?

Nick: Yeah. I have my own model to work on.

Donna: Suit yourself.

Nick: I'd say she has a good start on things.

Brooke: Yeah, okay. Walk down this way, and then walk back.

Nick: Rome wasn't built in a day.

************************************

Bridget: Six weeks? Could I really be -- pregnant?

Dante: Felicia --

Felicia: Hey. I'm not stalking you, I swear. I'm just helping out so Thorne can take a break. Some time off. But I brought somebody I thought you might want to see.

Dante: Hey! What are you doing, huh? What are you doing, little boy? Huh? You're getting so big, huh?

Felicia: Bigger every day.

Dante: Time flies, doesn't it, huh?

Felicia: If you're not there every moment, you miss so much. We would have been so happy together, Dante, the three of us.

[Dante making baby talk] We still can be.

Dante: My future is with Bridget.

Felicia: I know that's what you think. But I also know how important family is to you. And, so, I also think that maybe one day, you'll realize this family we share could make you happier.

Brooke: Okay, well, let's try this again. And have some fun with it. You've got to liven it up. This is all about having fun, okay?

Donna: Okay, fun. Having fun.

Brooke: No, no, no. Donna, you've got to look sexy, but not like a street walker.

Nick: I don't know, that worked for me.

Brooke: Nick --

Donna: Cute.

Nick: Sorry, I'll just be here not watching.

Brooke: Okay, let's try this one more time, okay? Good.

Donna: Well, that was easy. Just walk like you're trying to give yourself a bad back. Piece of cake.

Brooke: Well, it's not all about the catwalk. The success of the line is also based on embracing what it stands for, and conveying that as a spokesperson. Now, the press is gonna want to ask you questions, want to know how the lingerie feels, what you think of it.

Nick: Oh, come on, Brooke. Nobody's really gonna be listening. You show 'em the goods, you'll be fine. Then again, what do I know?

Brooke: You'll have to talk about Brooke's bedroom, what it means to you.

Donna: You want me to talk deeply about bras and panties?

Brooke: Well, if it doesn't mean that much to you, then --

Donna: No, no, Brooke, really, it does. I know how much it means to you, how much you enjoy it. So I can draw from that. Well, I actually did spend a lot of time in Brooke's bedroom. Remember all the secrets we shared? We laughed and giggled, sometimes all night long, feeling safe. To put on Brooke's bedroom is to take a simple evening with a man you love, and turn it into an event. It's not a seduction or an act, it's a connection. Not being afraid to feel, to celebrate who you are as a woman. To celebrate something divine, to give yourself the ultimate gift. My sister Brooke understands all this. And that is what it's like being in Brooke's bedroom.

Brooke: Thank you.

Donna: You're welcome. Well, let me know if I got the job.

Nick: Well, I think you just might have found the new face of Brooke's bedroom.

Felicia: Hey. Easiest place in the world to find a babysitter. The women in the sewing room used to spoil me rotten when I was a kid, so I figured it was time to get them started on the next generation.

Dante: So it's just you and me?

Felicia: Yeah, don't worry, I didn't take Dominick to the sewing room so that I could jump your bones. Not that I wouldn't enjoy it. Okay, then. All right, I'll just pick up these toys, and then I'll be out of your hair, okay?

Bridget: Hey.

Dante: Hey, hi.

Bridget: How are you? I took the test.

Felicia: Test? What kind of test? Pregnancy? You two are trying to have a baby?

Bridget: Felicia, could you give us some privacy, please?

Felicia: Of course not. Are you pregnant?

[Phone rings]

Ridge: Hello?

Donna: Ridge, it's Donna. Look, I know you're busy, but I just wanted you to know that Brooke is considering me as her replacement for the bedroom line.

Ridge: You?

Donna: No one can take Brooke's place. I know that as much as anyone. Ridge, she doesn't want to give this up. She's only doing it --

Ridge: Because of Nick.

Donna: She claims she's made a commitment to him, that she's happy.

Ridge: You think she's not?

Donna: Honestly, I -- I don't think she could ever be happy without you.

Nick: Brooke, she gets it. She's a little green, but so what? She's perfect, and you know it. Otherwise, you wouldn't have put her through this little charm school of yours.

Brooke: Donna has a ways to go, but it might work.

Nick: This is -- this is a good thing. It's a good thing. You can still work out of Marone, be CEO of Forrester, and you don't have to deal with that crazy family anymore.

Brooke: I know. It's just really hard for me. I mean, I understand that you hate that I work at Forrester Creations, but Brooke's bedroom is the height of my success.

[Nick sighs]

Nick: I've asked a lot of you. I know that. We fought a battle -- a big battle -- to get where we are, and we won. And I've come down hard on you, and that's not gonna stop. I'm gonna keep doing that, because -- I do it because I love you. I believe you do not need Forrester Creations.

Brooke: So you really think it's gonna work?

Nick: Honey, if you hire your sister, that family no longer has a hold on you.

Brooke: Okay, I'll do it.

Nick: That a girl. This could be a whole new start for you. Everything that you've gone through with that family -- I'm happy for you. I am so happy for you.

Brooke: Yeah.
