Jackie: Massimo?

Massimo: Oh, not you, too.

Jackie: Why are you answering Brooke's door?

Massimo: Why are you knocking on it?

Jackie: I came by to talk to Brooke about what happened at the wedding. But I guess now there's no need.

Massimo: Why not?

Jackie: Well, that's Nick's car in the driveway, isn't it? And since I didn't see Ridge's --

Massimo: I drove Ridge home.

Jackie: They're both here?

Massimo: Mm-hmm. Upstairs with Brooke.

Jackie: Well, at least you had good sense to stay down here this time.

Massimo: Yes. I wish Dominick had the same sense.

Jackie: Ridge was here first?

Massimo: Look, this is his home, Jacqueline.

Jackie: It would have been, if he and Brooke had gotten married.

Massimo: Oh, for god's sake, Jacqueline -- Ridge is mourning the loss of his sister, okay? He needs to be with his wife.

Jackie: I know, he's upset. It's a very trying time for everyone in his family.

Massimo: And Dominick hasn't helped at all. I mean, he's not helping himself, he's not helping Ridge -- running up there saying how Brooke is still in love with him.

Jackie: Well, she is.

[Massimo sighs] Nicky? Nicky -- what? What's wrong? Nicky!

Taylor: Okay, thank you. Okay, listen now --

Hector: Don't you think you've had enough?

Taylor: I know -- I know that it hurts you -- that I want to go back to Ridge.

Hector: It hurts me because I know he's not the right man for you.

Taylor: He's not the right man, he's the only man.

Hector: That's not true.

Taylor: I am miserable without him.

Hector: You are miserable because you haven't stopped drinking since he left.

Taylor: You have no idea what I'm going through.

Hector: What I know, is that you're not going to make anything better by chasing after Ridge.

Taylor: You know what I know? I know that Ridge and Brooke didn't get married, because Nick broke up the wedding. And I know that if Ridge and Brooke are not together, then maybe there's a chance for me and Ridge.

[Pager beeping]

Hector: That's the station. I have to go.

Taylor: Go. Wait! Hey, hey, hey! Give me the frickin' keys!

Hector: I'm giving the bartender cab fare.

Taylor: Oh, geez --

Hector: Okay? You're taking a cab. Hey, man? Call a cab for her, will you? Listen, I'm going to call you later, okay? I don't want you doing anything tonight until we have a chance to talk.

Taylor: Okay, fireboy.

Brooke: Ridge, wait.

Ridge: Logan, I've been waiting all day to be with you like this.

Brooke: I know. This was supposed to be our wedding night.

Ridge: Well, then let's pretend it is.

Brooke: No. No, no pretending. I've never pretended with you, and we've always promised that we'd be honest with each other. And that's what we're going to be. We're going to be honest right now.

Ridge: Okay, but what are you talking about?

Brooke: You say you need me.

Ridge: I do.

Brooke: Well, you're in pain because of your sister's death. And I want to be there for you, Ridge, I really do.

Ridge: You are, Logan. You're right in my arms. That's what I need the most right now. What's going on? What's going on with you?

Chuck: Hey, stranger.

Nick: Line 'em up.

Chuck: You buying rounds?

Nick: Tequila, right here. I said line 'em up. Again.

Taylor: Nick -- I just wanted to offer my condolences. Felicia was so great. It was a blow to everyone who loved her, when she was gone. I just want you to know, it hurts so bad when you lose someone.

Ridge: Logan, it's our wedding night. Everything's going to be fine now that we're together.

Brooke: I'm going to go check on the kids.

Ridge: Okay. Just don't be too long.

Jackie: What just happened? Why did Nicky rush out of here like that?

Massimo: I tried to warn him.

Jackie: About what?

Massimo: Obviously, Brooke told him that she's going to marry Ridge.

Jackie: And you let him go? He must be devastated.

Massimo: I sympathize, but he had no business being here in the first place.

Jackie: That's all you have to say? Massimo, he is your son.

Massimo: I'll try to find him.

Jackie: No. You've done enough. No, you leave him alone. I'll talk to him.

[Door slams]

Brooke: Jackie?

Jackie: You don't have to say anything. I'm leaving.

Brooke: What are you doing here? I came by to check on you. I thought you'd be alone. I was surprised to hear that you were upstairs with Ridge.

Brooke: How do you know that?

Jackie: Massimo told me. He and Nick just left.

Brooke: Nick was here?

Jackie: You didn't talk to him upstairs?

Brooke: No.

Jackie: Well, then he must have seen something that upset him. Because he raced out of here.

Brooke: Oh, my god.

Jackie: What? Oh, no. He saw you and Ridge? Massimo was right? You've recommitted to Ridge?

Brooke: Is that what he thinks?

Jackie: Is that what happened?

Brooke: No, no. I was just comforting ridge because he was upset about Felicia's death. It's not -- we didn't -- no. What Nick saw -- oh, my god. I've got to explain. I've got to explain.

Jackie: Try the marlin.

Brooke: Great, I'm not dressed. If I go up there, Ridge is going to know.

Jackie: Take this, take this. Just go. Just go. Go to him, Brooke. Go!

Nick: I'm not looking for company.

Taylor: You've got a lot on your mind, I understand.

Nick: If you really understood, you wouldn't be here. Because I want to be alone.

Taylor: I know that that feels like that's what you should do. But really, it would be a much healthier choice for you to express your grief.

Nick: Put a lid on that crap, will you?

Taylor: You don't like me, do you?

Nick: No.

Taylor: That's all right. I'm really not the person you should be expressing your grief to anyway. It should be somebody else. It should be Brooke.

Nick: How did you get here, anyway? What are you doing here?

Taylor: I already know what you did. I already know you crashed the wedding. Where is Brooke? Why isn't she with you here? What happened with her --?

Nick: She made her choice.

Taylor: I thought she loved you.

Nick: That's hard to believe when you find her in bed with another man.

Taylor: What? They slept together? No!

Nick: Would you excuse me, while I try to drown those images out my mind?

Ridge: Jackie? What are you doing here?

Jackie: I heard about Felicia's death, and I was concerned for Brooke.

Ridge: Uh-huh. I'm sure you were.

Jackie: I didn't think she should be alone.

Ridge: You mean you were hoping that she was going to be alone. That way, you could lobby for Nick.

Jackie: Oh, please. Nicky doesn't need me to sing his praises to Brooke.

Ridge: Oh, right, like that's going to stop you from doing it anyway. You're as bad as my mother with all that meddling in everybody's business. You'd do anything to get your precious, little Nicky whatever he wants. But not this time, Jackie.

Jackie: I understand that you are upset about your sister. I'm sorry. But there's no reason for you to --

Ridge: Look, you're wasting your breath. So is your son. Brooke isn't interested in anything either of you have to say.

Jackie: Oh, I think Brooke is more than interested.

Ridge: Well, if you believe that, you're more delusional than your son. Nick didn't accomplish anything by bursting into our wedding anymore than you're going to accomplish anything by bursting in here now. Brooke and I are going to have a life together, and there's nothing you or anybody else can do about it. So where is Brooke?

Brooke: Nick was there. He saw me with Ridge. Oh, god. I've got to find him. I've got to explain.

Taylor: I don't understand. I don't -- I don't get it.

Nick: It was a bit shocking.

Taylor: You know, the way -- the way Stephanie made it sound --

Nick: Forget about Stephanie. I was there, I saw it. I opened the bedroom door -- they were in bed.

Taylor: Oh, god.

Nick: The truth hurts. We're going to need another bottle of this. Chuck! I wonder where he went. Do you like the ocean?

Taylor: Yeah.

Nick: It's dangerous out there. But at least you're free. When I'm on land, there's always women and kids and families. And none of them turn out to be mine. Like something in a bad dream. Only it's not a dream. Do you know how that feels?

Taylor: Yes. I do, yes.

Nick: Well, then we're in the same boat. I think it's time for me to go, pretty lady.

Brooke: Nick, I know why you're not answering the phone. Look, I know what you saw, but there is an explanation, and we need to talk. So if you're not at the marlin, I want you to meet me there. But I hope you're there. Please be there.

Nick: You suck, nick! We are gonna get rid of the new nick and get back to the old nick! And we are gonna need gas. We got gas. And we're gonna need sunscreen, and we're gonna need fishing stuff, and we're gonna need more beer.

Taylor: Hey. Got one of those for me?

Nick: If I give you one, there may not be enough for me.

Taylor: I don't have my keys. I don't have any money, I can't get a cab.

Nick: Well, I can't drive you, and I know I can't get you home by boat.

[Taylor sobs]

Taylor: I don't know where else to go.

Nick: Hey. Hey --

Taylor: I don't care what you think about me, I don't, I just need your help. \

Jackie: Well, if you don't know where Brooke is, how am I supposed to know?

Ridge: She said she was going to go check on the kids.

Jackie: Then I'd go look in their rooms.

Ridge: She wasn't in there. I assumed she was down here.

Jackie: Yes, well, you've been doing a lot of that lately, haven't you?

Ridge: Excuse me?

Jackie: Making assumptions about what Brooke wants and just how stable your relationship is with her.

Ridge: Oh, it's not an assumption at all, Jackie. My relationship with Brooke is a fact. And you and nick are just going to have to deal with it.

Jackie: You're that sure that she wants to be with you?

Ridge: We're getting married.

Jackie: Were.

Ridge: We are.

Jackie: Wouldn't press the tux yet.

Ridge: You don't seem to realize what's going on here, do you? Married or not, this is our wedding night. Brooke and I are together. She has made her decision.

Jackie: Yes, Ridge. She has made her decision.

Brooke: Lights are on. Good, he's here.

Taylor: I've been in so much pain for so long. Every moment, every day. It's always there. Until now. I don't know why, but -- being with you is calming. I can't. I can't. I can't. Oh, oh!
