Dante: Got you one large nonfat decaf, just the way you like it.

Felicia: Noon is just the way I like it, not at the crack of dawn.

Dante: And I got one formula-style latte for my boy. So, when are you going to tell Bridget and Nick about Dominick?

Felicia: You're relentless.

Dante: You could have said something last night.

Felicia: The timing was wrong.

Dante: Okay, call them right now.

Felicia: They're having a memorial service this morning for Nicole. Do you really think now is an appropriate time?

Dante: You can't set it off forever.

Felicia: I know that.

[Dante speaking Italian]

Dante: I would like to stay with him while you go to the memorial. You know, I'd like to spend some time with him, if that's all right.

Felicia: I have to take a shower and get dressed. Come back in ten minutes.

Dante: Okay. Ten minutes. Ciao.

Eric: A blood test?

Stephanie: Well, the folder had Felicia's name on it, and it said DNA. But Taylor wouldn't give me any details.

Eric: Maybe she's starting a new treatment for the cancer.

Stephanie: That's what I'm hoping. But, as I said, Taylor wouldn't confide in me. She wouldn't tell me anything. That's why I want to talk to Felicia. And she's up by now.

Bridget: Stephanie.

Eric: Hey.

Bridget: Hey. Thanks for letting us have the service here.

Stephanie: Of course, anything. For both of you.

Bridget: Thanks. We appreciate it. We're going to get through this, but thank god we have Dominick.

Nick: He is that special light in our life.

Bridget: He's coming to the service, right?

Stephanie: I was just on my way to check on Felicia and the baby.

Taylor: Dante? You're going to the memorial?

Dante: No, Felicia's letting me stay with Dominick while she goes.

Taylor: Oh. So the two of you are working things out?

Dante: It seems like we are, but then, not. Like last night, she agreed that Nick and Bridget should be told the truth. And then she backed away from it. It's like, if she holds out long enough, she won't have to deal with it.

Taylor: Well, she might have to deal with it a lot sooner than she thinks. Stephanie dropped by my place last night, and she picked up Felicia's medical file.

Dante: What did you tell her?

Taylor: Nothing. I didn't say anything to her, but you know her. You know Stephanie. It's only a matter of time before she goes and gets her answers.

Stephanie: Felicia?

Felicia: Mom. I'm just putting Dominick down.

Stephanie: Oh. Oh, your color's better. You look stronger.

Felicia: Well, I need to be. For Bridget.

Stephanie: Sweetheart, have you changed your mind about treatment?

Felicia: Why would I? Do we really need to talk about this now?

Stephanie: Felicia, I know you're looking at other options, and so am I.

Felicia: What?

Stephanie: I thought we could discuss all those possibilities before you make a decision.

Felicia: What are you talking about? You know I've decided not to seek treatment.

Stephanie: Well, what about the tests you took last night at the hospital with Taylor?

Felicia: Tests?

Stephanie: I saw the file.

Bridget: Do you think I'm crazy to have this memorial?

Brooke: No. No, honey, you're not crazy. To be surrounded by people who love you, who love Nick, to pay tribute to your daughter.

Bridget: It's just harder than I thought it was going to be. I felt like I already knew her even though she wasn't even born yet. She was my daughter. My baby girl. And I knew what it felt like to hold her. Touch her baby soft skin. Thanks for coming.

Taylor: I can only hope that Felicia can avoid running into Stephanie today.

Dante: If Stephanie knows, the whole family's going to know.

Taylor: Oh, I know, I know. It will be devastating.

Dante: It might be painful, but it is the truth. Dominick is my son. And I want to be the best possible father I can be. I'm not going to hide my love for him.

Taylor: Well, nobody's asking you to, Dante. Listen, you have to understand how Felicia feels about this. I mean, she's found comfort in knowing that her son is going to be raised by Bridget and Nick. It's really the only thing that's helped her cope with knowing that she's dying.

Dante: She still wants that. Said so last night. If they want to be in Dominick's life -- I'm not turning my son over to Nick to raise.

Taylor: You can't really raise a child by yourself, though.

Dante: I know, I'm gonna need some help. And Dominick is going to need a mother.

Taylor: Dante, you're not using Dominick to get Bridget back, are you?

Felicia: What did Taylor tell you?

Stephanie: Well, she couldn't tell me anything. That's why I'm here talking to you. Sweetheart, your father and I love you more than anything in this world. And there isn't anything that we wouldn't do, or any place we wouldn't go to help you beat this cancer.

Felicia: There's nothing you can do to fix this one, Mother.

Stephanie: Is that what the test results indicated?

Felicia: The test results were devastating, but it isn't about my cancer. It's about Dominick.

Stephanie: Dominick? Oh, my God, that baby's not sick?

Felicia: No, no, no, no, no. Dominick's fine. He's completely healthy.

Stephanie: Well, then what is this about?

Felicia: Everything that I planned for him. His entire future. And Nick and Bridget already loving him so much. It's all falling apart.

Stephanie: How? Oh, honey, Nick isn't going to let anybody or anything interfere with raising that child.

Felicia: He isn't Nick's.

Stephanie: What?

Felicia: Dominick isn't Nick's son. I thought he was, but he isn't. Dominick's father is Dante Damiano.

Nick: Last night, Dominick was going to spend the night with us. But Bridget had a problem again, she couldn't hold him. She didn't want to look at him. But she stayed with it. She stayed with it, and she was able to open up her heart to that little boy. Then Felicia called and asked me to bring him back home.

Brooke: Oh, Nick.

Nick: Yeah. And I couldn't really say no to her, given what she's going through. You know, it's all so complicated. But at the same time, that boy brings such focus into our lives. Such -- joy. I really don't think we can get through this without him.

Taylor: You can't take Dominick away in hopes of getting Bridget back.

Dante: I told you, that's not what this is about. I would never hold my son hostage for anyone's love. Not even Bridget. You know, I was up all night thinking what would be best for my son. You know, it's not a secret that Nick and I don't get along, you know? When he finds out that Dominick is not his son, but my son, is he going to love him the same? What about Bridget? What about if she still wants to raise him? Is he going to stay with her? What about if he doesn't, if he doesn't want to stay with her? You know where he's going to go? He's going to go straight to Brooke.

Taylor: I really don't want to hear this.

Dante: It affects you, doesn't it?

Taylor: No, the only thing that should be affecting us is Bridget and how this affects her. Her life is hell right now. She needs her husband. She needs Dominick. You can't just take the baby away from them right now.

Dante: Look, I'm not going to say or do anything. Especially today. But I care about Bridget too much. I'm not going to hold any secret from her.

Taylor: Well, the truth will come out. It will come out later. Right now, we can't do it while everybody's emotions are running so high.

Stephanie: Dante? Dante? Dante! How? Where? When?

Felicia: France. I was on the rebound from Nick, and I had had a too much to drink --

[Stephanie chuckles]

Stephanie: Oh, there's a shocker.

Felicia: I thought we used protection.

Stephanie: Oh, my God! How many times did I tell you? How many times? You can't jump in bed with every bum that you meet. What did you think that would happen eventually?

Felicia: I could do without this lecture, thank you.

Stephanie: Yeah, well, you could've done without a lot of things in your life. Like trolling bars for men that'll buy you a drink! God almighty! And then you come back here and you let him think that he's the father?

Felicia: I thought he was! I really thought he was!

Stephanie: Well, if you really were worried, why did you have the damn DNA test run then?

Felicia: Well, at least I didn't wait over 40 years, like you did with Ridge!

[Felicia shrieking] Stop it.

[Felicia sobbing] Mother, this isn't about my sexual habits, okay? It's about my baby's future. Can we just try to deal with that?

Stephanie: Does Dante know?

Felicia: Yeah, of course he does. He's the one that insisted on having the test. He was there. I thought I had everything worked out. I thought I had all the bases covered, and now.

Felicia: Maybe you can help me talk to Dante. Help me try to convince him that Nick and Bridget should adopt Dominick.

Stephanie: What makes you think Nick would raise another man's son?

Felicia: He loves him, Mother.

Stephanie: Honey, he loved -- he loved R.J., then he found out it wasn't his. Now he's lost his baby, I think -- sweetheart, it might just be too much for him and for Bridget.

Felicia: Mother, I just need to know that my son is going to be raised in a loving home. Please, please, help me talk Nick into not rejecting him.

Stephanie: He's my grandson, honey, I'll love him no matter who the father is. And I promise you, I'll never let Dante take him away from us. Your father and I, I promise you, will make sure of that. I give you my word.

Felicia: We're going to be late for this memorial service.

Stephanie: Wash your face. I'll be waiting for you.

Darla: Hey.

Bridget: Thanks for coming.

Darla: Of course. Honey, we are so sorry about Nicole. We've been in shock.

Thorne: Nick --

Nick: Thank you.

Stephanie: Bridget?

Darla: Excuse us, sweetie.

Stephanie: Felicia's on her way over, but she put the baby down for a nap. He's -- well, he's out of sorts. I think he's a little cranky.

Bridget: It doesn't really matter how he behaves, I think he should be here. He's Nicole's brother. It's okay if he's asleep.

Nick: Okay, why don't you let me just mosey out of here and I'll get him, okay?

Bridget: Okay, thanks.

Stephanie: Taylor, I need to talk to you for -- here's Felicia, she should be part of this conversation. Honey?

Felicia: Taylor, it's okay. I told mom about the paternity test.

Taylor: Stephanie, I couldn't say anything --

Stephanie: No, it's all right, Taylor. The problem -- the problem we have to deal with is how do we tell Nick and Bridget?

Taylor: I just ran into Dante outside, and he just assured me that he's not going to say anything to anyone. At least, not today. He promised.

Nick: What the hell are you doing here?

Dante: I offered to watch Dominick while Felicia went to the memorial.

Nick: Why?

Dante: Because we're friends.

Nick: Well, she wasn't very happy with you last night.

Dante: Look, we had a disagreement, we worked it out with Taylor's help.

Nick: Well, I'm taking Dominick to the house.

Dante: No, Felicia left him in my care.

Nick: Dominick belongs with me and Bridget today. Maybe you ought to get your own babysitter.

Dante: Look, Nick, this animosity between the two of us, let's bury it for good, all right?

Nick: Well, why would I want to do that?

Dante: Because I think it's best for everyone involved.

Nick: For everyone? Or for you? I don't like your act. I don't like the way I turn my back, and you're always drooling over my wife. You probably think that because we lost our daughter that our marriage is going to fall apart, don't you?

Dante: Is it?

Nick: Bridget and I love each other. Stay away from her. And stay away from my son. Now, get out of my way.

Dante: He's not going anywhere.

[Nick chuckles]

Nick: You're not really serious about this?

Dante: Nick, I swear to god, just let it go. Please.

Nick: You're not going to keep me from taking my son!

Dante: He's not your son!

Nick: Shut up.

Dante: Dominick is not your son.
