Taylor: Brooke? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to go on that way, it's just --
Brooke: It's very emotional for you to be back here in this house.
Taylor: All those years. All that time away and --
Ridge: Logan keels over from shock.
Brooke: Well, I didn't know what to think. I mean, if you were real or -- it's really all very overwhelming.
Ridge: I think we're all feeling that way. And so much more. But it's nothing compared to how the kids are gonna feel.
Taylor: Oh, yes. Yes, the children. Please go get them. Please hurry, Ridge. I can't wait another minute. Please.
Ridge: Okay, okay. I'll be back as soon as I can with them.
Taylor: Okay. Hurry.
*************************************************************************
Jackie: I don't doubt your feeling for my son.
Bridget: You just doubt his feelings for me.
Nick: Mother.
Jackie: You're a lovely girl. You're sensitive and caring and --
Bridget: Brooke's daughter. Look, trust me, Jackie. No one's more aware of that fact than I am.
Jackie: Really? Then you understand my reservations.
Bridget: I think that we're partly to blame for them. Look, I know how close you and nick are. We should have reached out to you, and had, you know, dinner or drinks or something, just so you could have been more involved in our relationship. And then you could have seen for yourself how in love we are instead of us springing the engagement on you like we did.
Jackie: Yes, well, I was a little taken aback.
Bridget: So was I. I wasn't exactly looking to fall for a man that had been involved with my mom. Which is why I resisted -- why we both resisted. But we still fell in love. What are we supposed to do, just walk away from the best thing that's ever happened to us just because of something that's happened in the past? That's crazy. It's just -- it's crazy. I -- I can't do that. I could never walk away from your son.
Jackie: Well, that's wonderful to hear, Bridget. It really is. It's just that I can't help feeling you are still in a phase in this relationship where everything is so exciting. It's so blissful you can't see the obstacles in front of you, or the people for that matter.
Nick: Mother --
Jackie: Answer me one question, please, and then I promise you from here on in mum's the word. I will be an oil painting. Your father, he always said everything happens for a reason. Everything. Well, maybe this wedding was postponed for a reason.
Nick: That's not a question.
Jackie: Take the opportunity, please. Just slow down. I mean, why rush into this marriage when you've got all the time in the world?
Nick: Because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want it to start now. Not a year from now, not a week from now. But now now. Mother, I'm not a child anymore. I know how I feel. I know how I feel about her. I've been around awhile.
Jackie: Yeah, I know that.
Nick: Now when Forrester's back on his feet, things are going to go forward. That is, if you'll still have me. So either you're on board with this or you're not. That's your choice. Just know this wedding is going to happen, no matter what.
Jackie: I see. Then I won't stand in your way.
Nick: Meaning?
Jackie: You obviously make my son very happy. Then I'm very happy, for both of you.
******************************************************
Stephanie: I'll have a glass of water, thank you.
Eric: Where are the girls?
Stephanie: Watching a movie.
Eric: Yeah. God forbid they find out what their father did yesterday. Digging up Taylor's grave.
Stephanie: I don't want them to ever find that out. I'm really worried about him. I mean, I understand he has to find closure where Taylor's concerned. I realize that now.
Eric: Well, that's what James Warrick said.
Stephanie: Yes, I spoke to him. He's in Europe. And he said he can help us find the right hospital, get him in and get him the kind of help that he needs.
Eric: An institution.
Stephanie: Yes, and the sooner the better, I'm afraid. Oh, Ridge.
*******************************************************
Ridge: Hey.
Stephanie: Hi, honey. Where are the kids? I have to take them home.
Brooke: I can't believe this. You're back here in this house, about ready to reunite with your children.
Taylor: Oh, I've prepared for this moment a million times in my head. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was --
Brooke: Finding out that Ridge was married to me.
*************************************************************
Nick: You gotta be positive about this, you know? It's a good thing that my mother came by, even though she had no business putting her nose into our business. At least she knows how we feel about each other.
Bridget: Mm-hmm.
Nick: Sometimes I think she just needs something to worry about, you know?
Bridget: Yeah, I know. I can see that. Thanks.
Nick: Have I lost you?
Bridget: No, no. You were just saying something about your mom.
Nick: Well, I just thought you'd be happier about the fact that she's kinda on board with us.
Bridget: Oh, no, honey. I'm thrilled. Of course, I'm very happy. I just can't stop thinking about Ridge and what you guys did last night.
Nick: Well, let's fix that, huh? Let's get you out of here and get you in a good mood. I'm gonna do that, okay? Even if I have to die trying. Come on, let's go.
Bridget: Wait, wait. Wait. Wait, where are we going?
Nick: We're going out for a little sunshine, sunshine.
Bridget: But I --
Nick: No, no, no. No buts. The only "but" that we're going to have is this cute little one here. Come on.
************************************************************************************************
Ridge: So where are the girls? I need to take them home.
Stephanie: No, what you need to do is go check yourself back into that hospital.
Ridge: Mother, I'm fine.
Stephanie: No, you're not.
Eric: Ridge, we know where you were last night. We know that you dug up Taylor's grave.
Ridge: Look, I know what this must look like to you. I know what you're thinking. But you've gotta trust me on this. I will explain everything later. And it is truly amazing.
Stephanie: There's nothing amazing or healthy about digging up a dead woman's grave. You need help. Please, you need serious help.
Ridge: Mother, it's not like it seems. In fact, nothing is like it seems.
Eric: Ridge, you still think that the woman you saw was Taylor.
Ridge: I wasn't imagining things, dad. It really was her.
Steffy: Dad?
Phoebe: See, I told you it was him.
Ridge: Hey, there you girls. Hey, get your stuff together. We gotta go.
Steffy: Why?
Phoebe: What's going on, Dad?
*******************************************************************************
Taylor: I was very surprised when Ridge told me that he had married you. I don't mean that the way it sounds. It's just that -- I had spent so many years in a coma, I just wasn't able to grasp how much time has actually passed. To me, it feels like just yesterday since I was here.
Brooke: It must seem very strange.
Taylor: Yeah, very strange and disorienting. It hit me when I saw the children at the wedding. They were so little when I left. And now they're all grown up. The girls -- they've grown into these beautiful young ladies. And Thomas -- he's a man. I've missed so much.
Brooke: They never forgot you. They included you in all of their prayers. Asking god to look after you. And obviously he did.
Taylor: Thank you. Thank you for being there and helping them move on with their lives.
Brooke: Actually, the children helped me with mine. I've finally found peace, here in this house with the children, with Ridge. We really are a family.
***********************************************************
Ridge: Something wonderful has happened, girls. Something beyond our wildest dreams.
Steffy: So you're okay?
Ridge: I'm better than okay.
Steffy: Good, we were so worried about you.
Phoebe: Yeah, we heard you left the hospital last night. Where'd you go?
Ridge: I'm sorry to have worried you. But when you know what's going on, you'll understand.
Phoebe: Tell us.
Ridge: It's a secret.
Steffy: Come on, Dad, just tell us what the big secret is.
Ridge: Hey, you wouldn't believe me even if I did tell you. This is something you just have to see for yourself, okay? So grab your brother, and let's get going.
Steffy: He's at Forrester.
Phoebe: Yeah.
Ridge: Oh, okay. I'll call him while you guys get your stuff together. Go, hurry. Hey, Megan. Megan, I want you to --
Eric: He's not making any sense.
Stephanie: I don't think it's right for the children to be around him. Ridge, you're not taking the girls.
Ridge: What?
Eric: Look, Ridge, you're not well. I'm gonna call Brooke. I'll have her come get the girls.
Ridge: Brooke knows I'm here. Look at me, guys. I'm fine. Everything is fine. I promise.
Stephanie: Than why are you acting like this? Honey, please. Please try -- make me understand, please.
Ridge: There isn't time, Mother. But you are going to get the proof that you need that I'm not crazy, nuts, out of my mind, okay? Just be ready.
Stephanie: Honey, you're frightening me.
Ridge: Mother, do you believe in miracles? Because if you don't, you will. Come on, girls, let's go.
Phoebe: Bye.
Steffy: Bye.
*****************************************************************
Taylor: I'm glad that my children had someone like you to care for them. And I'm happy that you were there and you were able to be there for them and nurture them.
Brooke: But?
Taylor: But I've just already missed so much. I need to know more about my children. I mean, Ridge told me as much as he could. But I just need to know more.
Brooke: Like what?
Taylor: Like every last detail. What do they do for fun? What do they like? What don't they like?
Brooke: Okay. Well, Thomas -- he's is the same sensitive, caring boy that he's always been. He does great in school. He has many, many friends. And he's a whiz at Spanish.
Taylor: Oh, a gift for languages, just like his father.
Brooke: He's interning at Forrester, the same way Ridge did at his age.
Taylor: Eric and Ridge must be so proud.
Brooke: I don't know. I guess out of all the children he seems to be the most like you.
Taylor: Oh, really? How? How so?
Brooke: He's very expressive with his eyes, and he gives people the benefit of the doubt. He's very compassionate.
Taylor: Does he ever ask about me?
Brooke: All the time. I know that a lot seems like it's changed since you left. But nothing can change the fact that you are a part of those children. And even though you haven't been here, your presence has remained strong -- always.

Taylor: What about Phoebe and Steffy? What are they like?
Brooke: They're 14 going on 25.
Taylor: Always in such a hurry to grow up.
Brooke: I think going away to school helped them to mature and become more independent.
Taylor: Away?
Brooke: They're going to a boarding school in Ojai.
Taylor: I can't imagine ever sending my girls away to go to school. Then again, I can't imagine ever letting them go once I get them.
Brooke: Well, they begged us to go there. They have a way of tag-teaming you.
Taylor: Oh. Yeah. Till they wear you down. Well, that hasn't changed.
Brooke: No, no. They're very close, yet they're very different.
Taylor: They were like that as babies.
Brooke: Steffy is more outgoing. She's very athletic. She made the tennis team at her school. She has so many friends. She's always talking on the phone to them and text messaging them.
Taylor: What about Phoebe? Is she still my prissy little girl?
Brooke: Phoebe's different. She's very quiet. We've become very close. And she has a different way of expressing herself. She likes to draw. She likes to write in her journal. A lot of those entries are to you. They really haven't forgotten you. And many, many times when I go by their room at night I hear them singing "You are my sunshine."
Taylor: I used to sing that to them all the time.
Phoebe: Thomas, you here yet?
Brooke: Taylor, you're about to give your children the best gift that they could possibly have -- you.
Steffy: Okay, now we're home. Now tell us.
Phoebe: Yes, please.
Ridge: I will. I will, trust me.
Steffy: Come on, we've been waiting.
Phoebe: We've been waiting so long.
Ridge: It's the biggest surprise of your life.
Phoebe: I'm sure it is.
Steffy: If it is, just tell us now.
Phoebe: It better be good.
Ridge: Oh, I can't tell you. I can't tell you anything. You're gonna see for yourself. Trust me. You gotta trust me on this, okay?
