Thorne: It's --
Macy: Yes.
Thorne: Oh, my god. Macy.
****************************************************************************************
Bridget: I still can't even comprehend this. I mean, Stephanie, of all people -- letting dad think Ridge is his son.
Massimo: Bridget, what would you want her to do? Hmm?
Bridget: She's always talking about honesty, integrity. That's who she is, Massimo. That's what I thought.
Massimo: And you are right. Look -- if when she was pregnant she knew that the child was mine, of course she would have said so.
Bridget: Well, she knows now. But she's still lying to my dad, to Ridge.
Massimo: Because she's trying to protect them.
Bridget: To protect them? Or protect herself? She wants to get back together with my father.
Massimo: Well, it seems that he wants the same thing.
Bridget: Do you really think he would if he knew the truth?
Massimo: If he loves her the way he claims he does --
Bridget: No, no. There's more to it than that, and you know it.
Massimo: I have no intention of interfering in that relationship, if that's what concerns you. But you are right. But as long as my family needs me, I'm going to be here for them. And right now, Ridge needs me more than he ever has.
*******************************************************************************
Brooke: Eric loves the idea of using this pier. And the permits are lined up. If l's g to be ready for the big day.
Ridge: There you go. It sounds like you've got everything well in hand.
Brooke: I just can't believe it came together so quick.
Ridge: It's amazing how things happen like that when you just let them.
Brooke: Now, are you talking about the showing? Or are you talking about you and me?
Ridge: Come with me.
Brooke: Where are we going?
Ridge: We've got a little free time. Let's make good use of it.
Brooke: Yeah, but wouldn't you rather --
Ridge: Do you want to see Portofino or not?
Brooke: Well, yes, of course, I do.
Ridge: Then come on. Come on.
Brooke: Oh, Ridge.
*************************************************************************************
Deacon: Scuse, do you speak English?
Bartender: Yes, sir.
Deacon: Oh, thank god.
Bartender: What can I get you?
Deacon: Nothing right now. Hey, look, I'm trying to find somebody who's staying here. At least I think she's staying here.
Bartender: At the front desk, they can --
Deacon: Yeah, yeah, I know. They'll check out where she is and leave her a message. But -- she doesn't know I'm coming. It's -- it's kind of a surprise.
Bartender: Feel free to look around, sir.
Deacon: Thanks.
Bartender: Excuse me, sir. A lot of people come through here. Are you sure you wouldn't want me to check with the front desk?
Deacon: Well, I get a feeling you might know this one. Brooke Logan.
Bartender: Oh, yes, Ms. Logan. She's here.
Deacon: Where can I find her?
Bartender: There were some people from Forrester here last night talking about going on a location scout today.
Deacon: Oh. All right. Well, I guess I'm just going to wait for her then. Do you know a place where I can buy some flowers?
Bartender: Certainly, sir. Follow me.
****************************************************************************************
Massimo: Bridget, don't you think I would love it if the truth were to come out? Don't you think I would love the idea of being able to say to my son how much he means to me? And to tell your father to go to hell every time he tells me it's none of my business to be involved?
Bridget: Okay. So why don't you just say something then?
Massimo: Because -- because, on this one, I think Stephanie is right. It would do more harm than good. Ridge has been leaning on Eric lately. He needs it. You've seen it. Can I take that away from him after he's just lost his wife? I can't. And you won't either. Bridget -- I know how much you care for Ridge and your father, of course. But you cannot deprive them of a relationship that they've depended on.
Bridget: But you will, won't you? Huh? Someday when Ridge isn't grieving anymore?
Massimo: I would never do anything to hurt my son -- ever. That much I can promise you. Bridget, listen, I'm sorry to put you in this position -- truly. I know that you value honesty. I admire that more than you'll ever know. But for Ridge's sake, you must promise me that you'll keep this secret.
[ Bridget sighs ]
Massimo: Okay? You have got to give me your word that you will never --
Bridget: All right. Okay, okay. I won't tell anyone.
Massimo: That includes your mother. You know that as well as I do -- better than I do -- she cannot be trusted.
Bridget: I said I wouldn't tell anyone. But I want to ask you something. You say, in spite of how you feel about my father, that you won't interfere with him and Ridge because Ridge needs him. So, Massimo, tell me something -- why isn't the same thing true about my mother? Can't you see how much he needs her? Especially now?
************************************************************************************
Brooke: So what's the plan? Is there a plan?
Ridge: Yes, there is. I want to spend the entire day with nobody analyzing, sympathizing or looking at me like I'm a damn mental patient. Do you think you can handle that?
Brooke: I think so.
Ridge: Okay. Then here we go.
Brooke: Where'd you get that?
Ridge: I rented it. Come on.
[ Car engine revs ]
***********************************************************************************
Thorne: Macy -- it's impossible. You're here! You're alive!
Macy: Thorne --
Thorne: Oh, my god. Oh, my god. It's you. I've got you back. I've got you back. You're here. Oh, god. I've got you back!
Thorne: Oh, god. Macy -- how? How is this possible?
Macy: The explosion -- it just -- it just threw me down an embankment. And I -- I crawled. And I found an abandoned cabin. And I just laid there until my father found me.
Thorne: Your father?
Macy: He heard about the accident, and he came there. And when I was able to travel, he smuggled me to a hospital here.
Thorne: This is just too unreal. But you're here. You're alive. Hold me. Hold me. Yes.
*******************************************************************************************
Waiter: Buon giorno, signor. Can I get you something?
Deacon: Give me an iced tea.
Waiter: Right away.
Deacon: My god, look at this place. It's unbelievable. I can't think of anywhere better to start over.
Non dimenticar means don't forget you are my darling
don't forget to be all you mean to me
non dimenticar my love is like a star my darling
shining bright and clear just because you're here
please do not forget that our lips have met and I've held you tight, dear
was it dreams ago my heart felt this glow or only just tonight, dear
non dimenticar although you travel far my darling
it's my heart you own so I'll wait alone non dimenticar
non dimenticar although you travel far my darling
it's my heart you own so i'll wait alone non dimenticar
Waiter: Another refill, Mr. Sharpe?
Deacon: Thanks, Mario. Hey, maybe you can help me out with something. If I wanted to take a lady for a very special dinner, where would I --
Waiter: Oh, the restaurant here at the Splendido is excellent.
Deacon: That's not exactly what I've got in mind. I'm thinking about something small, intimate, romantico.
[ Speaking Italian]
Waiter: I have just the right place for you. I write the address, okay?
****************************************************************************************
Bridget: I know you don't see my mother the same way I do.
Massimo: No, I do not. I find it very difficult to understand how you can be so forgiving after what she's done to you. She slept with your husband, for --
Bridget: I know! Do you have to keep bringing that up? Look, my mother made a horrible, disgusting mistake. But that has nothing to do with Ridge.
Massimo: Until she gets involved with him and, god forbid, should marry him. And then he will be right in the thick of it, Bridget!
Bridget: What are you talking about? The affair with Deacon is over! It is done with! None of us have anything to do with him anymore!
Massimo: What if he comes back?
Bridget: He won't!
Massimo: How do you know?! Oh, I see, you're relying on his integrity, his honor as a gentleman.
Bridget: No. This is -- you're just making excuses now. I don't even --
Massimo: Listen to me. Just listen. Deacon and your mother are bound together, permanently, by the child that they've had together. Maybe not tomorrow or the next day, but sooner or later, he will come back. And when he does, he's going to demand what is his. And there's not a damn thing your mother can do about it!
***************************************************************************************
Brooke: So, are you ready to go back to the real world?
Ridge: Oh, please, no. Do I have a choice?
Brooke: Yes. You can use me as an escape.
Ridge: You have no idea how much I appreciate that.
Brooke: Oh, stop thanking me already. Today meant as much to me as it did to you.
Ridge: Thank you.
**********************************************************************************************
Thorne: Oh, baby -- oh, thank god you're back.
Macy: I didn't mean for this to happen. I just -- seeing you again after all this time, I just -- I couldn't help it.
Thorne: There's so much that I have to say, so much to apologize for. But there's plenty of time for that. I've got you. Right now I just want to hold you --
Macy: No, no. No, no, no.
Thorne: What? What?
Macy: I have to go home.
Thorne: Macy, I'll walk with you. I'll walk with you.
Macy: You don't understand. I have to go back to my life, and you have to go back to yours. And you can't tell anyone what you saw here today, because it didn't happen. This never happened. You have to forget about me, Thorne. You have to. You have to.
