Amber: Sheila must've known that Ridge and Taylor were out. That's when she showed up with a gun, and she took me to some alley, and she cut my tracking bracelets off, and then she took this Tequila, and she was just pouring it around everywhere, and then she took all these pills, and it was just -- throwing them around.
Massimo: Because she wanted to make it look like you were using again.
Stephanie: That woman never changes.
Amber: No -- yes, she has. She has. She is worse than she's ever been before.
Lt. Baker: Well, what do you mean? What do you mean, worse than ever?
Amber: Everything that happened to me, Sheila did. She paid that guy Lance to drug me and then take me home, and right when I was just getting close to getting Lance to come clean, he just wound up dead. I know that's what happened. I do.
Lt. Baker: Mm-hmm.
Amber: It was the same when I came here that night. She is the one who broke that window. Everything -- everything bad that happened to me was because of her, and it happened here, and -- I just want to go home.
Stephanie: Okay.
Lt. Baker: Well, you can't go quite yet, Amber. Technically, you're still wanted for breaking your house arrest.
Stephanie: Well, Lieutenant, what do we have to do to get that straightened out?
Lt. Baker: It shouldn't take long. First thing I need to do is get a search going for Sheila Carter.
Amber: It's over. I can't believe it's over. That you figured everything out, you came here, and you saved me.
Stephanie: Oh, honey, I'm just sorry I didn't figure it out sooner.
Amber: No, it's okay. It's okay, Stephanie. I don't blame you. Sheila, she set everything up perfectly. She knew exactly how to take my past and use it against me so no one would believe me. Almost no one.
Stephanie: Yeah, Taylor.
Amber: She stuck by me when everyone else had written me off. How do you ever thank someone something for that?
Stephanie: You can usually figure out a way.
************************************************************************************
Rick: Oh, she's okay. Thank god, Amber's okay.
Erica: I told you my mom wouldn't hurt her. Look, Rick. I know that you're mad. Okay, really mad. But please, just don't be angry with me, because I never meant to hurt you.
Ridge: No, just to kill Amber?
Erica: No, that's not true. It's not, I swear!
Rick: Are you gonna tell me again that you had no idea what your mother was up to?
Erica: I didn't, I didn't. Not until a few weeks ago.
Rick: Well, you should've told me what she was up to the second that you knew.
Erica: I was afraid of losing you -- my mom, everything. I mean, you don't know what it's like to have one person -- one person in the whole entire world that you can count on, and that person is my mom.
Ridge: Oh, please.
Erica: She's everything that I have. Eric, she convinced me that it was okay, that it was right, that you were better off with me than Amber.
Rick: Amber is my wife!
Erica: I know.
Rick: And still, you were willing to trash that? I suppose that's what tonight's little seduction was about, right? Tell me!
Erica: My mom, she said that if I got pregnant with your baby, then we could be together forever.
Rick: Sheila was going to kill Amber so you could get into my bed and get pregnant with my child?
Erica: No --
Rick: Don't you lie to me!
Erica: That's not what it was about. It was about us. It was about how much I love you. God, Rick -- if nothing else, you have to believe that.
*********************************************************************************************
Eric: I don't believe it. You couldn't stay away, could you?
Sheila: It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
Eric: Sheila.
Sheila: Surprise.
Eric: I don't believe it.
Sheila: I know. I can't -- I can't believe it myself, but here I am. It's true. Oh, Eric -- oh, god, it is so good to see you.
******************************************************************************************
Amber: It's over. I just -- I can't believe it's really over.
Taylor: Now Rick will know the truth, that you didn't betray him, and everything that's been happening the last few months has been nothing but a bunch of lies.
Amber: You -- you never doubted me. Not for one second.
Taylor: Nope, not once.
Lt. Baker: Well, we're all finished here. The search for Sheila Carter is under way. I'll let you know if we hear any news.
Stephanie: Well now, what about Amber?
Lt. Baker: Well, I'm gonna need you to come down to the station tomorrow so we can fill out some paperwork, get those charges against you dropped.
Amber: But -- I can go home now?
Lt. Baker: Yeah, you can go.
Amber: Thank you, Lieutenant Baker.
Lt. Baker: Sure.
Stephanie: Thanks, Lieutenant.
Massimo: Thank you.
Lt. Baker: All right, let's go, guys.
Amber: I want to go home. I want to get to see Rick, and our son.
Taylor: Want me to drive you there?
Amber: No, no. I want you to go home to your kids.
Stephanie: We'll take her.
Massimo: Absolutely. Come on, let's get her out of here.
Stephanie: Okay, all right. Come on, honey.
*****************************************************************************************
Eric: What are you doing here, Sheila? What do you want?
Sheila: I want happiness. I want security and love. I want you.
Eric: You wasted a trip.
Sheila: You asked what I wanted.
Eric: I'm not gonna play word games with you, Sheila.
Sheila: Wait a minute. This isn't about me. It isn't about you, Eric. It's about my daughter.
Eric: Mary?
Sheila: Oh, she's all grown up. She's such a wonderful, wonderful young girl. You'd be so proud of her.
Eric: I'll have to meet her someday.
Sheila: Oh, but you have. Right here -- right here in this house. It's very appropriate, don't you think?
Eric: What're you talking about?
Sheila: You threw a party for her, you -- you honored her here.
Eric: Party? What are you -- I threw a party for --
Sheila: Erica.
Eric: Erica Lovejoy? No. That's not true.
Sheila: Your namesake -- Erica, my daughter. She's the reason that I'm here, Eric. I know -- I know that you would never do anything to help me, but I'm begging you to please protect my daughter.
********************************************************************************
Rick: How can I believe a single word that comes out of your mouth?
Erica: Rick, I love you. Okay, I was afraid that if you found out who I was, you would hate me. And I know that I've made mistakes, some really big mistakes, but you have to know that I never meant to hurt you.
Rick: What, is that your idea of an apology?!
Erica: Rick, can you ever forgive me?
Amber: I can't.
Rick: Amber. Oh, honey, come here. I just want to hold you.
Amber: Oh, that works for me!
Rick: Oh, Amber -- I am so --
Amber: There will be plenty of time for that later. Right now there's something I need to take care of, okay? Excuse me. My, my, my -- you look scared, Erica. Well, you should be. Because if all these people weren't here right now, I'd probably strangle you with my bare hands.
Erica: You have every right to be upset.
Amber: Shut up, you little piece of trash! You came here to Los Angeles pretending to admire me. You said that you looked up to me, that you wanted to be like me. Well, that was the first lie! The truth is, you wanted to be me, and you set out to take over my life, and to push me out of it.
Erica: That wasn't how it was. I did admire you when I first came here.
Amber: Really? Then when did you go bad, huh? Because you went bad in a big way. God, you're sick, Erica. You are just as sick as your mother. You know there's a part of me that hopes you get a little help, but there's a much, much bigger part of me that hopes you and your mother rot in hell.
[ Doorbell rings ]
Ridge: I'll get it.
Lt. Baker: Erica Lovejoy, we need you to come down to the police station with us.
Erica: Are you arresting me?
Lt. Baker: We're just gonna ask you a few questions.
Erica: Okay, well, can I change first?
Lt. Baker: Make it quick. Officer Smith will go with you.
Erica: I know you don't believe me, but I do love you. That part was always real.
Rick: Nothing about the past few months was real.
***********************************************************************************************
Radio D.J.: We'll be right back after this short break with another 30 minutes of nonstop music. Ambrosia smile light up the world ambrosia style
Taylor: Erica, that's timing.
I may be daddy's little girl but I'm not a child I got a touch of class and I'm a little wild
Taylor: Daddy's little girl.
If you wonder why I'm wearin' this permanent smile I'll tell you a little secret Ambrosia style Ambrosia smile light up the world Ambrosia style
Taylor: Mary Warwick? I can't believe it. How in the world did Sheila come up with the name Erica, anyway? Erica. Erica. Erica. Eric.
***************************************************************************************
Sheila: But before you say anything --
Eric: No, you mean before I tell you to go straight to hell, Sheila?
Sheila: It's where I've been, Eric. Since the day you walked out. You left, and you took everything good right along with you, except for my daughter Erica. I couldn't call her Mary anymore. She brought me so much love, so much joy -- just like you did. And I wanted to give her something in return. A name that she deserved. Erica Lovejoy. Erica after you. Oh, it was perfect. It was so perfect, so beautiful. Just like her. Just like you.
Eric: Is there a point to this?
Sheila: I'm telling you the truth, I don't stand to lose anything -- by that, my daughter. She stands to gain everything, so, yes -- yes, I did things. I did things, because I wanted Rick to see how much better Erica was for him than Amber.
Eric: Oh, my god -- you did all of this, didn't you? You did all of this! Amber supposedly getting drunk one night and going home with some other guy, rock through the window, and amber supposedly getting back on drugs. You did all that?
Sheila: No, but you -- you wanted to believe that she did, Eric, because you know she's capable of doing all of those things. Look, she's not fit to be your son's wife. She's not fit to be the mother of your grandchildren, but Erica -- Erica is, and you see this.
Eric: I see you're still crazy as hell. My god, I can't believe I was ever married to you.
Sheila: Look, say whatever you want to about me. Think whatever you want to about me. But don't take your feelings for me out on Erica. She deserves a chance at happiness. Please. Please, don't make her pay for the things that I've done.
*********************************************************************************
Erica: Rick.
Lt. Baker: Put her in the car. I'll be there in a minute. I have a few more questions for Mrs. Forrester and Mr. Marone.
Amber: I can't believe it. She's gone.
Rick: Feels different already.
Amber: It is. We are.
Rick: You're right. We've changed.
Amber: You know, Sheila -- she told me about Erica's plan, and did you --
Rick: No, and I'm sorry for everything. I never should've doubted you. I am so sorry I turned my back on you. I never should have done that, Amber.
Amber: Rick, I had let you down so many times before, and you had had enough. And Sheila's timing was just perfect. You're not totally to blame here. But let's make a pact, right now, okay?
Rick: To trust each other.
Amber: Always.
Rick: Always.
Amber: God, I've missed you.
Rick: Oh, honey. I love you so much. I love you so much.
Amber: I love you, too.
*************************************************************************************
Eric: Are you finished?
Sheila: Yes.
Eric: Good. Now you can go to hell.
Sheila: Eric, what do you want me to do? Do you want me to beg? Because when it comes to my daughter, I'm not too proud to do that. Do you want me to get down on my hands and knees?
Eric: There's nothing you can do, Sheila! Nothing! You're finished -- do you understand? And your daughter is finished, too.
Sheila: She's just a girl.
Eric: I don't care!
Sheila: Oh, you self-righteous bastard.
Eric: Oh, there she is. The old Sheila. The Sheila we all know and love. She was hidden, there, for a few minutes, but now she's come out. Just in time for me to call the police to come get her and take her away.
Sheila: I don't think so.
Eric: Oh, you think you're gonna be able to stop me, she --
Sheila: I said, I don't think so.
