Brooke: Bridget, we can work this out. I know we can.
Bridget: It's too late, mother. This is hurting me more than you can imagine, but I can't ignore what you've done.
Brooke: Honey, I'm not asking you to ignore it. I just don't want you to give up on me. I love you, you know that. And I know what I did was wrong and it was terrible. I don't blame you for being angry with me.
Bridget: Look, Mom, I'm not trying to upset you, okay? You've been through a lot tonight. We all have. But I can't just sweep this under the rug and move on because I'm too exhausted to fight about it.
Brooke: Honey, I don't want to fight either.
Bridget: You want something I can't give you. I'm sorry. I can't forgive you.
Brooke: But you don't hate me?
Bridget: No, I don't hate you.
Brooke: That's a start. I mean, it's not really hopeless. If we can just talk, and maybe you can give me a chance --
Bridget: You had a chance. You had a million chances and you threw them all away. Now, the only chance you have left is with this baby. This is your last shot at motherhood. I just hope you can be a better mother to her than you were to me.

Deacon: Hey, thanks for coming over.
Megan: Hey, it's no problem. Not to mention, I'm still on the clock, at time and a half.
Deacon: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, you didn't have to come all the way back. I appreciate it.
Megan: Well, you need to approve the itinerary tonight, if you and Bridget want to leave in the morning.
Deacon: Yeah. I'm not so sure that's going to happen.
Megan: What do you mean?
Deacon: Megan, she hasn't called me.
Megan: Well, Deacon, it's been a really long day. I'm sure Brooke and Bridget are really exhausted. They probably just went to sleep.
Deacon: Without calling me? Come on.
Megan: Deacon, they'll be home tomorrow.
Deacon: Megan, Brooke hasn't called you, has she?
Megan: No.
Deacon: Megan, it's cool. I'm not going to go tearing off to big bear. I've accepted this. This trip is kind of like a new start for me and Bridget. I'm going to finally be the kind of husband she deserves. Try and be the man that she thinks I am. And I'm going to show her the most romantic places in the world.
Megan: She'll love it, Deacon.
Deacon: I'm really committed to her. Brooke's married to Whip, and I've accepted that.
Megan: Wow. You really had the fear of god put in you today.
Deacon: Yeah. Yeah, we dodged a major bullet. I just -- can you imagine if Bridget was listening on the baby monitor. Can you imagine for one second, if she heard me and Brooke talking?
Megan: But she didn't. She didn't.
Deacon: No. I just -- I gotta try and close that chapter in my life. And it's not just about keeping the secret anymore. You know, it's time. It's time. I gotta move on.
********************************************************************************
Amber: I want to go check on little Eric before I leave.
Rick: Amber, come on. Come on, you can't leave.
Amber: I have to.
Rick: It is okay to be scared. You just got out of rehab. Amber, I'm scared, too.
Amber: I'm not scared, Rick. I just -- I just can't be here right now.
Rick: This is your home.
Amber: I'll be at the guesthouse, okay, if you need me. I just need to go focus on my recovery.
Rick: I realize that, Amber.
Amber: But you can't accept it. Are you ready to be the husband of a recovering addict?
Rick: Amber --
Amber: I don't think that you are.
Rick: You heard us. You heard me and Thorne talking.
Amber: Yeah. I heard you. I heard you loud and clear.
Rick: Let me explain.
Amber: No, it's okay. I understand. You're not ready to deal with my recovery.
Rick: I didn't say that.
Amber: Well, you didn't say that you were.
Rick: I don't even know what that means -- dealing with your recovery.
Amber: Look, Rick -- I'm not the same person who left here a few weeks ago. My priorities have changed.
Rick: You're committed to staying clean.
Amber: No, I'm committed to being honest. I'm committed to seeing things how they really are. No avoiding the truth. No making excuses. And the truth is -- I'm an addict.
Rick: But you're also my wife. You're my wife, and I made a commitment to you. I stood before god and my family, and I vowed to stay with you no matter what.
Amber: I'm telling you that you don't have to take care of me anymore.
Rick: We're married, Amber. We're partners. We take care of each other.
Amber: I love you so much, Rick. I love you and little Eric more than anything in this world. And I want you to be happy. But I don't want to burden you with my problems. I can do this on my own.
Rick: I'm sure you can. But you're not going to. We are in this together, amber. Okay, not until things get hard or until we get overwhelmed or we find something better. Until death do us part. For the rest of our lives. We made a promise to each other that no matter what happened, no matter how much we change, no matter how many tragedies we suffer, that we would be there for each other. That is what marriage is about. That is why we took those vows, and damn it, Amber, I intend to keep them.

Stephanie: Come on, little girl. Come on. I got you. I got her.
Bridget: I'm not doing this to punish you.
Brooke: Then why can't we talk?
Bridget: There's nothing to talk about. I know what happened. I heard everything you and Deacon said.
Brooke: Honey, we didn't mean to hurt you.
Bridget: Well, you did.
Brooke: It's over. You were never supposed to find out. We agreed --
Bridget: Yeah, it's over. But not because of an agreement between you and Deacon. But because I won't be lied to anymore. I've made my decision. I don't want anything to do with either of you. And don't worry -- I won't give away your secret.
Brooke: Honey, I don't care about that.
Bridget: Well, I do. You have humiliated me and this family for the last time.
Stephanie: Well, on that note, let's agree that the baby's paternity will stay a secret.
Bridget: If you ever wanna have a relationship with me, you will cut Deacon out of your life and never see him again. As for me, I no longer work at Forrester.
Brooke: So what are we going to tell your father?
Bridget: You're not going to tell him anything. I'll talk to him myself.
Brooke: And what are you going to say?
Bridget: That's my business, not yours. As of right now, we're through with each other.
Brooke: Honey, please. I love you. I know that's hard to believe.
Bridget: Stephanie, can I take your car, please?
Stephanie: Are you all right to drive?
Bridget: I'm fine.
Stephanie: Okay, the keys are in it.
Bridget: How about you? Are you okay?
Stephanie: Well, the hospital said the doctor's on his way. So I'll just stay with your mom until he arrives.
Bridget: Thank you.
Brooke: Bridget. Please, don't cut me out of your life. I'm sorry. I know what I did was wrong, and I wish I could take it back. I wish to god I could take it back, but I can't.
[ Knock on the door ]
Stephanie: I hope that's the doctor.
Bridget: I better go.
Brooke: Baby, don't go. I'm begging you! Please, don't go.
Bridget: Good-bye, mother.
***********************************************************************************
Rick: Amber, we're married. That connection is supposed to hold us together in spite of everything.
Amber: I'm not talking about our marriage. I'm talking about my sobriety. And you can't help me with that.
Rick: I can support you.
Amber: This is going to be a long, hard battle. You know, I only took those pills for a few months, but I've been fighting with these demons my entire life.
Rick: Then don't start recovery by running away.
Amber: I'm not running away from you. I'm letting you off the hook.
Rick: I don't want that.
Amber: You want a big family and lots of children and a wife that you can depend on. And I don't know if I can give you that.
Rick: Yes, amber, but nobody said that you can't.
Amber: See, that's just it. I can't live my life in the future. I have to take this day by day.
Rick: And I will be here for you for every single one of them. Look, Amber, that talk about the future -- that's just an idea. What we have now, what we share -- our marriage, our family -- that's real. That will sustain us through every challenge that we ever face. And if I have to marry you again to prove that to you, I will.
Amber: You'd do that?
Rick: In a heartbeat. Amber, I will be here for you. Through every triumph and every challenge because I love you.
Amber: I love you, too.
Rick: Welcome home, Mrs. Forrester.
Amber: I've missed you so much.
******************************************************************************
Brooke: How is she, doctor?
Doctor: Mother and daughter are in perfect health.
Brooke: Thank god.
Doctor: He was watching over you tonight.
Stephanie: I think that's safe to say, doctor.
Doctor: She's a beautiful, little girl.
Brooke: Yes, she is.
Stephanie: Doctor, are you going to take Brooke to the hospital?
Doctor: She and the baby will need more tests.
Brooke: What kind of tests?
Doctor: Just the usual blood work. And I'm sure your obstetrician will want to give you both an exam.
Stephanie: Well, you're not saying that we should drive to Los Angeles tonight?
Brooke: I want to. I wanna get out of here.
Doctor: Well then, you're all set.
Brooke: All right. Thank you, doctor.
Doctor: I'm glad to see you're doing so well. You're both to be congratulated. You gave this child a very gentle and loving delivery. I'm sure her birth will be a hot topic at all of your family reunions.
Stephanie: I hope not. I hope she achieves something more wonderful in life that we can all be happy to talk about.
***************************************************************************
Deacon: Bridget, is that you?
Bridget: Expecting someone else?
Deacon: No, I just wasn't expecting to see you tonight. Brooke told me what happened with your friend. I'm really sorry. Did she bring you back?
Bridget: No.
Deacon: Well, you saw her, though, right?
Bridget: Yep.
Deacon: Well, good, 'cause she was worried about you. We all were real worried about you.
Bridget: Well, here I am. So you don't have to worry about me anymore.
Deacon: Well, good. I'm glad you're here, because I got a surprise for you.
Bridget: It's funny you should say that, Deacon. Because I have a surprise for you, too.
*************************************************************************
Stephanie: Thank you so much. I really appreciate you coming. Gosh, did you have to start crying? Couldn't you wait till the man was out the door?
Brooke: Leave me alone.
Stephanie: Believe me, I'd like to. But who's going to drive you back to L.A. If I don't?
Brooke: I don't know if I can go back there. I'm too ashamed to see Rick and Amber and Whip. Now that Bridget knows that our marriage is a lie.
Stephanie: Well, where do you want to go?
Brooke: I don't know. I'm so confused. I just -- I don't know what to do.
Stephanie: Well, I'll tell you what you can't do. You can't go back to L.A. And start running around chasing guys. You know, you've gotta focus on this baby. You've gotta get your life in order.
Brooke: Yeah, that's what I wanna do. I don't want any more drama or deceit. This poor little baby, I don't want her to suffer. And Bridget, oh, god. I never meant to hurt her. I really didn't.
Stephanie: Forget about Bridget. She's never going to forgive you. But this child is a clean slate for you, isn't she? I mean, she doesn't know anything that's going on. She doesn't know who her father is. And if you're smart, you'll keep that from her. Brooke, she can have a normal life, but you're the only one that can give it her.
Brooke: Will you help me?
Stephanie: What?
Brooke: Stephanie, I can't do this alone. I just don't trust myself anymore. I've made so many mistakes. I don't even deserve this baby. Oh, my god.
Stephanie: You're right. You don't. But you know this baby's like a second chance for you. Maybe that's what god has given you. This baby could be a turning point for you. If you can get your life in order and stop the silliness, running around from one affair to the other. All the lies. All the selfish behavior.
Brooke: I can do that. I have to.
Stephanie: Well, if you can, then I'll help you.
Brooke: You will?
Stephanie: Well, not for you. For this baby, the baby's future.
[ Stephanie sighs ] oh, god. I'll help. I'll try and look out for both of you.
******************************************************************************
Deacon: You have a surprise for me?
Bridget: A big one.
Deacon: What is it?
Bridget: Something happened out at the cabin tonight.
Deacon: With your friends?
Bridget: My friends weren't there. It was just me, mom and Stephanie.
Deacon: Stephanie? What was she doing there?
Bridget: She was concerned about me.
Bridget: No, she's still up there.
Deacon: Stephanie's at the cabin with your mother?
Bridget: Yeah, well, we were going to leave, and then mom collapsed.
Deacon: What? Was it the baby?
Bridget: No. The baby's fine. Stephanie did a great job. It was a perfect delivery.
Deacon: What?
Bridget: Mom went into labor, and the ambulance couldn't make it in time. So Stephanie and I had to do it.
Deacon: You delivered the baby?
Bridget: Pretty crazy, huh?
Deacon: Oh, my god.
Bridget: Yeah. It was unbelievable.
Deacon: Brooke, is she -- is she okay?
Bridget: She had a very trying day.
Deacon: Yeah, I'll bet.
Bridget: You don't know the half of it.
Deacon: The baby -- was it a boy or girl?
Bridget: It was a little girl.
Deacon: A girl.
Bridget: Congratulations, Deacon. You and my mother have a healthy baby daughter.
