Brooke: No! Deacon, no!

***********************************************************************************

Tony: Wow, the place is decorated beautifully.

Kristen: Isn't it? You know, Bridget had it done. I just can't believe she got it done so quickly.

Tony: Well, you're right. She is quite the little matron of honor.

Erica: Well, look who's here. Hi, Mr. and Mrs.. Dominguez.

Tony: Hey, little buddy. Don't you look spiffy?

Kristen: Erica?

Erica: Hi, Rick asked me to watch little Eric while they are getting ready for the wedding.

Tony: Well, I hope you're getting combat pay.

Erica: He's no problem at all. Where's Zende?

Kristen: Um, he wasn't feeling well. He had a little fever.

Erica: I'm sorry. I hope it's nothing serious.

Kristen: No, no, just a bug.

Erica: Will you tell him I said hello?

Tony: I'm sure that that would mean a lot to him.

Erica: Come on, Eric.

********************************************************************************************

Massimo: Eric.

Eric: You don't miss an opportunity, do you? A family wedding?

Massimo: Why? Is it more appropriate for Brooke's ex-husband to be here than me?

Eric: My children invited me.

Massimo: Oh, excuse me. Stephanie invited me.

***********************************************************************************

Stephanie: The tie is fine. Let's go.

Whip: Brooke ready?

Stephanie: As ready as she's ever going to be.

Whip: This is going to work, Stephanie.

Stephanie: I know it is.

Whip: Not just because we're trying to save Bridget from finding out the truth.

Stephanie: Whatever. Let's just go.

Whip: Wait a minute. You can't still think that she's going to back out even after everything you've said to her.

Stephanie: Whip, you'd be a fool if you can't see that possibility.

Whip: Wait a minute. Where's Deacon?

********************************************************************************************

Deacon: Brooke, listen to me. I know, in your heart, you think you're doing what's best for everyone. But it's not.

Brooke: No, no, not for everyone, Deacon. Just for Bridget.

Deacon: You're going to stand in front of a minister of god and lie. How the hell can that be good?

Brooke: The truth would kill her.

Deacon: No! No, Brooke. The truth is what's going to save her. The lie is what's going to destroy her.

Brooke: Oh, my god. I don't know how you can say that.

Deacon: You honestly believe that you are going to be able to keep this from her? Bridget is going to find out the truth.

Brooke: If you ever say anything to her --

Deacon: Listen, no -- no, baby, it would never be me. It's going to be you.

Brooke: No, no, never.

Deacon: Brooke, I know you. This girl is your soul. You're not going to be able to lie to her. Listen to me, one of these days you two are going pour your hearts out to each other, and it will come out. And when it does it is going to hit her like a bullet. And you're right, she won't survive it. The only way is to tell her, now!

Brooke: I can't.

Deacon: You can't? Brooke, you don't have a choice! The longer you wait, the worse the impact is going to be. Listen to me, I know, you think you're doing what's right. But this ridiculous farce wedding with whip is not going to protect her. All it's going to do is stall the inevitable. And the stalling is what is going to put her life in danger. You have to tell her and you have to tell her now!

Bridget: Mom? I have your dress.

Deacon: Brooke, I'm begging you, please, for god's sake tell her the truth.

***************************************************************************************************

Stephanie: I don't know where he is.

Whip: No, he was just in here with me a minute ago. And I left before he did. He's probably just pouting.

Stephanie: Or with Brooke.

Whip: I thought she was with her matron of honor?

Stephanie: No, she was alone when I left her.

Whip: No. No, there's no way he's going to talk her out of it. Not now.

Stephanie: Don't be so cocky. This thing can still blow up in your face.

Whip: Look, that's not going to happen, Stephanie. It would destroy Bridget, and Brooke's not going to allow that.

Stephanie: Oh, really? Well, just wake up and face the facts. She's not marrying you because she's in love with you. And until you exchange those vows, anything can happen. Anything.

***********************************************************************************************************

Bridget: Mom? Can you please open the door? We're running out of time and I have something to show you.

Deacon: Brooke, I love you.

Brooke: I'll tell Bridget the truth.

Deacon: You want me to stay?

Brooke: No.

Deacon: So, Brooke, I'll just wait downstairs for you. Let me know when you're ready, okay?

Bridget: What are you doing in here?

Deacon: I was just making sure --

Bridget: I hope you're not getting on mom's case again about Whip.

Deacon: No.

***************************************************************************************************

Bridget: Okay, then can you please get dressed and get downstairs? Let the bride get ready. What's up with him? Okay. I know we only have a couple of minutes, but there's something I have to give you.

Brooke: Honey, there's something I need to tell you.

Bridget: Mom, the wedding is about to begin and I really want to do this.

Brooke: I really need to tell you this first.

Bridget: Is it that important?

Brooke: Yes.

Bridget: Mom, you're not about to back out of the wedding, are you?

Stephanie: Brooke, everybody's ready for you downstairs.

Brooke: Stephanie, I am in the middle of a conversation with my daughter.

Stephanie: Oh, I bet I know what it's about. Second thoughts about marrying whip. Everybody gets nervous. That's what you were going to tell her, right?

Brooke: No, no, it isn't that.

Bridget: Oh, my god. Mom, you really had me going. Look, whatever it is, it can wait.

Brooke: No, no, it can't.

Stephanie: Well, it has to, because everyone's waiting for you. Come on, now, let's go.

Bridget: Not yet. There's something I need to do first.

*************************************************************************************************

Taylor: Amber, hi.

Amber: Hi.

Taylor: How are you?

Amber: Fine. Wonderful. Ridge, nice to see you.

Ridge: Okay? That is one messed up girl.

Taylor: I'm kind of worried about her.

Ridge: Well, the one that should be worried about her is Rick. What's he doing about it?

Rick: Why don't you ask him? Not that I owe you any explanations, Ridge. But tell me something, why did you even bother coming here?

Taylor: Rick, this is not the time or the place.

Rick: No, Taylor, I agree. That's why he shouldn't be here.

Ridge: Well, if there's anyone who shouldn't be here, Rick, it's your wife.

Taylor: No.

**********************************************************************************

Whip: There you are. Better get with it, bartender. It's show time.

Deacon: Yeah, I'll put the tux on. Somehow, I just don't think Brooke's going to be walking down that aisle.

Whip: Is that any way for a best man to talk to the groom? I'm distraught.

Deacon: Go ahead, you can laugh all you want right now, Whipple. I don't think you're going to be laughing an hour from now.

Whip: You know what? Come on, we're late. Brooke's probably down there already.

Deacon: I don't think so.

Whip: Really? Something you know that I don't?

Deacon: Unfortunately, right now, there's a lot I know that you don't.

***********************************************************************************************

Bridget: Mom, I know it's kind of old fashioned, but I just want this to be the happiest day of your life. So I have a couple of gifts. Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. First the old.

Brooke: Oh, honey.

Bridget: Actually, Deacon found that when we first moved in together. It was in a box of my old stuff. So, I guess you could say it's from both of us. Now, something new. Beautiful, isn't it?

Brooke: When did you do this?

Bridget: Right after you left for Paris. Deacon was so sweet. He said that he would give me anything and this is what I asked for.

Brooke: Did Deacon know that you did this for me?

Bridget: No, I don't think so. But he wouldn't mind. Mom, he adores you. Now, something borrowed. This was -- this was kind of tough. I mean, you've lent me so much stuff over the years. And now, I'm going to lend something to you. This has brought me a lot of luck and I hope it does the same for you and Whip. It's the gift deacon gave to me when I was in the hospital. At the time, I thought he was snowing me. But he wasn't. He really did love me with all his heart.

Brooke: Honey, I can't accept that.

Bridget: Yes, you can. Yes, you can. And when you look at it, you're going to think of the perfect marriage. Mom, because that's what you're going to have. Just like mine. And finally something I wrote. Kind of sad. Something blue.

Bridget: "Out among the lullabies, where you and I began. You touched my heart and dried my eyes, you took me by the hand. And, thus, we traveled down the years. Past obstacle and strife. From child, to girl, to woman. Through the tangled web of life. But holding court with angels. We prevailed, the race was run. And never have I been this close. To man. Or god. Or anyone." Okay. I'm going to go check on your bouquet, okay?

Stephanie: You know what you have to do.

*****************************************************************************************

Rick: Okay, why don't you take him in the back. Okay, buddy? We'll see you in a little while.

Tony: This doesn't feel like a wedding.

Kristen: No, no it doesn't.

Tony: Kind of makes you wonder.

Kristen: Wonder what?

Tony: Well, is there any doubt? Is the bride actually going to show?

Kristen: Brooke? One never knows.

****************************************************************************************

Whip: You know, there's nothing you can do to stop this wedding.

Deacon: If I didn't know better, Whipple, I'd say you're trying to convince yourself not me. But you got one thing right. I'm not going to be the one to stop it. Brooke is. Let's go.

************************************************************************************

Bridget: Mom? Oh! You look so beautiful. Mom? It's time to go down.

****************************************************************************************

Erica: Come on, sweetie. We have to go. The wedding is about to start.

****************************************************************************************

Deacon: She's not going to do it. Brooke won't come down those stairs.

Deacon: Oh, my god. You didn't tell her, did you?
