[Light music playing]

Brooke: Oh. Oh, Deacon, what you do to me -- how can something feel so right when it's so wrong?

Whip: Deacon? Deacon, can you hear me? Oh -- hmm, that's gonna leave a bad mark. I warned you, man. I told you to go home, leave Brooke alone. You should have listened.

Rick: Well, it looks like you're feeling a little bit better.

Amber: I am.

Rick: Then I guess that party wasn't a total bust.

Amber: No. I mean, your family is wonderful, and I really appreciate all their support and all the compliments. But it's going to take a lot more than a pizza party to cheer me up. You know, losing the baby really hurt me. But it's not the end of the world. And I -- I will get through this.

Rick: That's what I've been telling you.

Amber: Well, it's finally starting to sink in. I just have to start concentrating on the positive things, like you and Eric, our little family and my work. You know, I have a responsibility to Forrester now. The future of that company depends on our success.

Whip: Watch your head. Whoo. Bye-bye Brooke. We're going on a little ride.

Brooke: Deacon, wake up. We have to talk. Deacon? Where did he go?

Amber: You know, I can't rest on my laurels, Rick. I want this next collection to be even more successful than this one.

Rick: So do I. But you have to remember, Amber, not even Barry bonds hits it out of the park every time.

Amber: Well, Ridge did.

Rick: Forget about Ridge.

Amber: You're right. You're right. He's not a problem for us anymore. He's not even in the picture. Come on. Come to bed.

Rick: Actually, you know, I'm -- I'm not very tired. I was thinking about going out and getting some coffee -- but I can stick around if you want me to? But I'll only be a little while.

Amber: No, you know what? I'm -- I'm okay. You know, I'll probably be asleep by the time you get back, okay?

Rick: Well, I'm glad to see you're feeling better. I'll be back soon, okay?

Brooke: I can't believe it. Deacon left. Well, of course he left. He couldn't stay here. He had to go back home. Bridget. Oh, God, what have I done?

[Cell phone rings]

Brooke: Deacon?

Bridget: No, Mom, it's me.

[Whip groans]

Marty: He all right?

Whip: Oh, yeah. He just had a little too much to drink. Can't say I blame him. Oh, Parisian strip clubs. They're a nightmare.

Marty: You're going back to L.A.?

Whip: No, no, not me. Just Deacon. He's got a meeting back there, and Brooke will kill him if he misses it.

Marty: Okay, I just have some papers to fill out, and we'll be on our way.

Whip: Oh, one more thing. Can we -- can we just keep this between the two of us? I'm kinda doing a favor for ms. Logan.

Marty: Certainly, sir.

Whip: Thanks. I'll let myself out. Welcome aboard, Mr. Sharpe. I'm afraid it's time for you to say adieu to the city of lights. I hope you enjoyed your stay. Because as long as Brooke is in Paris, you will never come here again.

Brooke: Bridget?

Bridget: Yeah. Why did you think I was Deacon?

Brooke: Is that what I said? I was asleep and I woke up, and I saw the number on your caller I.D., And I thought maybe something happened to you.

Bridget: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you.

Brooke: Is everything all right? Is -- are you okay?

Bridget: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just -- I'm looking for Deacon. Do you know where he is?

Brooke: No. No, why would you ask me that?

Bridget: Well, he had to go out of town on business, some last minute thing. And I guess he must have been in a hurry, because he didn't even tell me where he was going. And now, he's not answering his cell phone.

Brooke: I'm sure that he will get in touch with you, sweetheart. I know that Deacon hasn't forgotten about you, and he never will.

Whip: Yeah, that's right, Deacon. It's over. Any fantasies that you might have had about a future with Brooke, well, I hope I knocked those out of your head, because it's not gonna happen. You have put that woman and her daughter through enough already. And I wonder sometimes, do you have any remorse about what you've done, or are you just too stupid to realize it? I mean, sleeping with the mother, married to the daughter, an illegitimate child on the way? You are a virus, a parasite. You're a disease, Deacon, and I am the cure. I am going to protect this family from your destruction. Because of me, Bridget's never gonna find out what you've done. Because of me, your unborn child isn't gonna be born a bastard.

Deacon: What are you doing? Where am I?

Whip: You're on the Forrester jet. You're going home to your wife.

Deacon: Oh, where's Brooke?

Whip: Forget about Brooke, all right? Forget about Paris. Forget everything that happened here tonight. I'm not fooling around anymore, Deacon. Go home to your life. I'll take care of Brooke. [Deacon groans] You know what? You know, man, you just don't quit, do you? You just don't want to quit. [Groaning] Come on. Go to sleep, go to sleep. Nice try, Sharpe. Nothing more you can do. Brooke is mine. Bon voyage.

Rick: How you doing? Um, can I get a large decaf latte to go, please? Hello, Ridge.

Ridge: Rick.

Rick: Isn't it late? I guess it's true what they say -- there is no rest for the wicked.

Ridge: I'm very busy right now, Rick.

Rick: I bet you are. It's a pretty difficult thing stepping into a new company. I hear you're working for Marone now. How's that going?

Ridge: It's hard work. But I think if everything goes according to plan, this job will be enormously satisfying.

Rick: Oh, good for you. You know, I -- I told Mom not to worry about firing you. Your enormous ego was sure to break the fall.

Ridge: Oh, I don't really see it as a fall though -- more of a change in circumstance. Quite a lucky one at that.

Rick: I see working for Marone hasn't taught you any humility.

Ridge: That's not really part of his curriculum. But I don't have to tell you that. You already know exactly the kind of teacher Massimo is, don't you, Ricky boy? [Deacon groans]

Deacon: Oh, my God. I've got to stop Whip. Oh, I've got to get back to the hotel. Talk to Brooke. [Deacon groans] Oh, God, we're in the air! Oh, damn it! [Deacon groans]

Rick: You know what? If you want to waste your life away being bitter, go ahead.

Ridge: Don't you worry yourself about me, little brother. I'm not wasting my life. And I'm not gonna be bitter much longer, actually.

Rick: Well, that's good, Ridge, because it's not gonna change anything, and it's certainly not gonna help you get over it.

Ridge: You'd like that, wouldn't you? I just move on with everything, put it all behind me. Ridge Forrester ends his career in disgrace, with his little brother and his trashy wife taking my place.

Rick: You leave my wife out of this.

Ridge: I'm sorry you lost your child, Rick. Nobody deserves to lose a kid like you did. But business -- well, business is business.

Rick: Well, it's not your business anymore, Ridge. You're out of the fashion game. So forget about Forrester, and leave us alone. There's nothing you can do to us now.

Deacon: Oh! I gotta -- I gotta talk to the pilot. He has to turn this plane around. [Cell phone rings] Thank God. Brooke. Brooke. Hello?

Bridget: Hey, there you are!

Deacon: Bridget? I can barely hear you. We got a bad connection. I'm on a plane.

Bridget: On a plane? Are you coming home? Deacon, are you still there?

Deacon: Yeah. Yeah, I gotta get off, though. [Phone crackles]

Bridget: Okay. I'll talk to you soon. I love you.

Deacon: I love you, too, Bridget. [Phone crackles] Bridget? Oh, God, she doesn't know where I am. Ahh! Oh, God. What the hell am I doing? What the hell am I doing?

Whip: Brooke? How are you?

Brooke: I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing anymore.

Whip: Deacon was here. I know -- I know it's not your fault. You didn't ask the guy to come.

Brooke: It happened again.

Whip: What did?

Brooke: I can't even say it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've raised a family. I run a business. And this I can't even handle. He's my son-in-law. Every time I get near him --

Whip: You lose control.

Brooke: Bridget called. She wanted to know where he was.

Whip: She doesn't know that he was here, does she?

Brooke: Hmm-mm. She thought I might know where he went on his business trip. God! I am such a terrible mother.

Whip: Hey, hey, hey. No, no, no. Don't say that. Listen to me. Yes, you made a mistake. You lost control, but that's not gonna happen again, okay? You hear me, Brooke? This is it. You can't keep fooling around and then feeling guilty. It's not enough to be sorry. You gotta stop it, okay? We've gotta stop it. You know, I can't stand to see you doing this to yourself anymore, all right? If you can't rectify this situation, then I will. You're not gonna destroy your family, your reputation, your relationship with your daughter, Bridget, and most importantly, the future of this child. I'm just not gonna let you do that. Brooke, I can help you, but you gotta trust me. Do you want Bridget to know what you've done? Do you want her to know that you slept with her husband?

Brooke: No.

Whip: All right, this is a problem that you can not shoulder alone. You need me. Brooke, I can save you, but you're gonna have to trust me. Look at me. This has all got to stop. And you need help. I am willing to do that for you. I'm willing to give that to you, but you're gonna have to give me something in return. You're gonna have listen to me, and you're gonna have to do exactly as I say. You're gonna have to put your life in my hands. It's the only way to break the cycle. Brooke, tell me that you'll do it, all right? Please, let me save you.

Brooke: Yeah. Yes, I'll do it. I'll do whatever you want.

Whip: Come here. It's okay. I'm gonna take care of you.
