Rosanna: Please, Carly, are these things yours?

Carly: You said that you found them in Craig's car?

Rosanna: Yes, he said he ran into you at the Lakeview, that you were having car trouble, that he gave you a lift and then you left these things in his car. It just doesn't --

[Rosanna sighs] oh, this is ridiculous. I knew he was lying.

Carly: No! No, he was telling you the truth, Rosanna. The wig, the rest of it -- it's all mine.

Kim: So what do you think Chris is going to tell us?

Bob: I don't know. But I have a feeling that it's good news. You know, last week John said to me that he thought Chris had come a long way and that he was shaping up to be a fine addition to the staff.

Kim: Oh, that's good. I've been afraid that he's gonna come here and tell us that he and Alison are back together and they're engaged.

Bob: Well, we'll know in a minute. Here he is. Hello, son.

Chris: Hey, guys.

Kim: Hi. Hi, darling.

Chris: Hi. Thank you for meeting me.

Kim: Come sit down. Sit down. Your dad and I are dying to know. So what's your big news?

Chris: I'm leaving Oakdale.

[Alison mumbling]

Katie: Hey, what are you doing?

Alison: Nothing!

Katie: You're looking at a calendar counting the days.

Alison: Until Christmas.

Katie: Oh, yeah? Then why are you looking at October? You look like you haven't slept in a week, Alison. What's going on?

Alison: I think I'm pregnant.

Molly: I'm just saying, I think you need to be careful, because I think Paul is just as manipulative as his mother is.

Dusty: Don't worry about me, okay?

Molly: Mm-hmm.

Dusty: What?

Molly: If you can't get Rose out of your brain and out of your heart --

Dusty: I told you, I'm not in love with her anymore. Let it go, will you?

Molly: Then why are you riding to her rescue? You're not the hero type.

Dusty: Okay, if you want to convince yourself that I'm in love with her, that's fine! Shut the door on your way out, would you?

Molly: Don't be so offended, okay? Just help me understand something. Why is the guy that doesn't stick his neck out for anybody all of a sudden laying it on the chopping block? Because I don't get it.

Dusty: Well, I don't get it, either. So why don't we both stop trying to figure me out, all right?

Molly: Sorry.

Dusty: About what? Come on, girl. You don't need to apologize.

Molly: Do you need me to do anything?

Dusty: Yeah. I need you as a friend. Rose is in really deep trouble here, and I need you to help me save her. All right?

Mechanical voice: Careful, Rosie. Someone's got it in for you.

Rose: Who is this?

Mechanical voice: Watch your back. That's all I'm gonna say.

Rose: Huh! No, no, no! Don't -- don't hang up! Who is this?

Mechanical voice: Sweet dreams.

Rose: Hello -- no. This can't be happening. No. Star 6 9, star 6 9. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. No! Are you kidding? Who is this? Who is threatening me?

[Phone beeps]

Rose: Paul -- Paul will know what to do. Paul.

Mitzi: Hey, Rose?

[Rose screams]

Rose: Don't sneak up on me like that.

Mitzi: I'm not, gosh. What's gotten into you?

Rose: I just got a really creepy phone call with this person with this robot voice telling me to watch my back -- or else.

Mitzi: You're surprised?

Rose: Excuse me?

Mitzi: Well, you've been making a lot of enemies lately, Rose.

Rose: Hello? Did you hear what I just said? I was threatened!

Mitzi: Yeah. Probably finally ticked off the wrong person.

Rose: Thank you so much for your concern, Mitzi!

Mitzi: Would you calm down. It's probably Barbara Ryan. She was here earlier. She's probably playing with your head.

Rose: Are you sure it was Barbara Ryan? Maybe it was somebody else.

Mitzi: What are you looking at me like that for?

Rose: I want to see your cell phone. I want to see the last number you dialed.

Mitzi: You can't be serious.

Rose: Oh, I am completely serious. Was it you? You the one threatening me, huh?

Rosanna: I must say, I'm stunned that these things belong to you. Have you started traveling around in disguise?

[Both laughing]

Carly: Well -- if you heard the whole story --

Rosanna: Yes, well tell me, please. I'd like to hear the story, 'cause I'm kinda going out of my mind.

Carly: It all started with Halloween. I had this idea that Sage and Parker and Jack and I would dress up as "hairy" potters. Get it? Like, wizards with a lot of hair.

Rosanna: Really?

Carly: Yes. So I got the wigs and the accessories and everything, but Jack didn't think it was a very good idea, so I had to bring everything back. But the store wouldn't take these because Parker cut the tags off them.

Rosanna: So that's when you ran into Craig, on your way back from the store?

Carly: Right. I was on my way back from the store, and my car started making this little sound and it wouldn't stop, so I stopped off at the Lakeview because the Lakeview has a car rental desk. And I thought that I would have to rent a car to get the rest of the way home, but then I saw your husband. And he offered me a lift.

Rosanna: Oh. Huh, that's sort of funny, that makes sense.

Carly: Yeah.

Rosanna: I feel ridiculous coming over here. I --

Carly: No, don't -- don't worry about it.

Rosanna: Oh, I made such a fuss, bothering you and banging on your door. You must have thought I was -- lost it.

Carly: No, no. I thought you were a little stressed out. Is everything okay now?

Rosanna: Yeah, yeah, everything's okay. I just jumped to the wrong conclusion, that's all.

Carly: Right. Well, that's perfectly understandable. Craig is one of the most devious, irresponsible, self-centered jackasses I've ever known, but he does love you.

Rosanna: Thank you. Come here. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. You're just the best sister and godmother to my child. And just thank you so much for being a good friend.

Carly: It's my pleasure.

Rosanna: Well, I should go.

Carly: Okay.

Rosanna: Because Emma's watching Cabot and I really told her that I would not stay away too long.

Carly: Okay, no, that's fine. Just give that baby a kiss for me.

Rosanna: I will.

Carly: And let's get the kids together soon.

Rosanna: Yes, good, sounds great.

Carly: Okay.

Rosanna: Okay. Bye.

Carly: Bye.

[Door closes] you can come out now, chicken.

Craig: Hmm? Rooster. And you're still the greatest!

Carly: And you're still a jerk!

Craig: Well, listen, as much as I would like to continue this debate, gotta go.

Carly: Oh, no you're not.

Craig: Huh?

Carly: You are not going anywhere, buster, not until I get some answers.

Molly: You want me to help you save Rose? From what? A husband who's wealthy, who adores her, who can keep her drinking champagne for the rest of her life?

Dusty: What is it about Paul Ryan that's got everybody on this town blind? He's setting her up.

Molly: He's marrying her and then moving her to Paris to live. Please, somebody, set me up like that!

Dusty: Paris is a lie. The wedding is a lie. And you know what? Every second that you and all these other French supporters in this town don't see it, the greater the risk that she's going to get stabbed in the heart by this guy.

Molly: So, you're not only sexy, you're psychic too?

Dusty: I got instincts. And right now I've got little red alert codes going off in my head.

Molly: Really? Well maybe they're so loud you can't hear the truth. Paul is in love with Rose, and he's going to marry her.

Dusty: He's not in love with Rose, he's out for revenge! He wants to pay her back for having an affair with me, I know it.

[Knock on door] it's open. Come in.

Paul: Whoa. Hey, I'm not interrupting, am I?

Dusty: What do you want?

Paul: Just dropping off the tuxedo.

Molly: Big plans?

Paul: You didn't tell her? He didn't tell you. Dusty's gonna be in my wedding.

Chris: I got an offer at Philadelphia Children's Hospital --

Kim: Oh, Philadelphia ?

Chris: Yeah, in the Pediatric ICU.

Kim: It's so far away.

Chris: Yeah, I know, and that has its advantages. I mean, around here, I'll always be "young Dr. Hughes."

Bob: Okay, I realize that that can be difficult. I've heard some of the remarks that other interns have made, but that's pretty much died down.

Chris: It has, a little bit. But there are some people who still think I get special treatment because you're my father. And most people think that it's just the opposite.

Bob: Well, when did Philadelphia Children's call you?

Chris: A few days ago. I know, okay? I wanted to tell you guys. I just needed some time to think about it without any outside voices.

Kim: I wish you were gonna be a little closer to home.

Chris: In a lot of ways, I do too. But in other ways, I can't wait to leave. Oakdale is a small town. Okay, whenever I make a mistake it seems like everybody knows.

Kim: Well, when you say "mistake," are you talking about this thing you've been going through with Alison?

Chris: Yeah, she's part of it.

Kim: Really?

Chris: It's not exactly a good time for either of us, and it would probably be easier if I just got out of her life.

Kim: Uh-huh. So then all this you've been telling us about going to Philadelphia because of a job isn't quite accurate, is it, son? I mean, be honest. You're leaving Oakdale because of Alison.

Katie: Oh, Alison. I'm so sorry. I mean, I'm sure you don't want to be pregnant --

Alison: Shh! Keep your voice down. I don't want one of the nurses overhearing and telling my mom. And, you know, plus -- I only said that I might -- I might be pregnant. I'm not sure.

Katie: Well, you are late? How late?

Alison: Enough to be counting the -- I'm just totally freaking out. I don't know what to do!

Katie: Well, you need to take a test.

Alison: No! No, no, no.

Katie: Come on, Alison. You have to. And besides, maybe it'll tell you that you have nothing to worry about.

Alison: You think?

Katie: Maybe. I'll go get a test, and then we'll know for sure.

Craig: Carly, come on. It's late. I want to get home to my family.

Carly: Not until you swear to me that the wig, the scarf and the sunglasses have nothing to do with Cabot.

Craig: Well, he would look kind of silly in them, don't you think?

Carly: Don't be cute. You come over here begging for help, and I want to know what's going on.

Craig: Nothing terrible.

Carly: Okay.

Craig: Okay?

Carly: Fine.

Craig: All right.

Carly: Be that way.

Craig: What are you doing?

Carly: Calling Rosanna. I just realized, you know, that wig isn't mine.

Craig: No, no, all right. What do you want to know?

Carly: I want to know what happened when you left the church, when you said that you were going to get a battery for the video camera.

Craig: I ran into Annabelle Fettle. She runs the adoption agency we used for Cabot.

Carly: The adoption agency that's in Canada . So what -- she came all the way down to Oakdale, Illinois, to see if Cabot is sleeping through the night?

Craig: No, no. She had pressing reasons.

Carly: Well, if any of those "pressing reasons" means that my sister is going to lose that baby, I want to know. I want to know now.

Craig: They were just details that needed taken care of.

Carly: Stop lying to me, Craig! Now, obviously something is going on with that adoption. And if I have to get Jack to handcuff you to that chair over there, I'm going to do it because you are not leaving this house until you tell me whatever it is you won't tell my sister!

Mitzi: I can't believe you. I can't believe you think I would make a creepy phone call like that.

Rose: I don't want to think that, but the way you've been acting lately, Mitzi, I don't even know who you are anymore.

Mitzi: I'm still the same person I've always been. You're the one who's changed!

Rose: Me? I'm just trying to live my life!

Mitzi: Your life. You know, we used to look out for each other, Rose.

Rose: Yeah.

Mitzi: What was mine was yours, what was yours was mine. Now you're about to go off and get married to a guy who could open his own bank, and you won't even sell me the shop at a discount or on time? I mean, give -- cut me some slack here, Rose.

Rose: It's too late. The shop has already been sold.

Mitzi: What?

Rose: I was going to tell you, I was, but --

Mitzi: I know you were looking for a buyer, but is the deal final?

Rose: Well, we haven't closed yet, but --

Mitzi: Well then, you can tell them that you found a better deal --

Rose: No, I can't do it. I'm sorry. Because I don't want you or anybody else connected to that shop anymore. I'm sorry.

Mitzi: It's got bad memories -- for you.

Rose: Ah --

Mitzi: Well, excuse me for thinking about myself for two minutes.

Rose: You don't understand. You don't get it.

Mitzi: Oh, I understand. I understand better than I ever have before. You're selfish. I never saw it before, but it's always about you!

Rose: You know what; I am not going to argue with you, because I am selfish. I broke the heart of a wonderful man, and I'm trying to fix it. I don't mean to hurt you, but I'm doing the best that I can.

Mitzi: Well, your best isn't so good anymore.

Rose: Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, Mitzi.

Mitzi: Yeah? You're sorry? Then don't do this. Don't put our friendship on the line for the salon, okay? Let me have it.

Rose: I can't. I'm sorry, I just -- I just want to marry Paul and move out of this place. Get away.

Mitzi: Then go. Just get on that plane and do us all a favor -- don't come back.

[Phone ringing]

Rose: Hello?

Molly: You're gonna be in Rose and Paul's wedding? As what?

Paul: Well I -- I've been cast as the groom, so -- well, Dusty's going to be an usher.

Dusty: You and I both know there ain't gonna be no wedding.

Molly: On that note, I'll be in the other room.

Paul: Okay, so, I'm getting fitted for the tuxedo, right? And I see this, and I thought of you. And I know I've spent a whole lifetime in the fashion industry, but I'm not sure if it's the right size, but I -- where do you want it?

Dusty: I don't.

Paul: Look, Dusty, don't be hasty, all right? If you change your mind, I got the card of this -- Joe. He's the tailor on premises, you give him a call, you tell him you're with the D'Angelo/Ryan wedding. He's familiar with all of the particulars. You just go by --

Dusty: Listen. I really didn't buy your whole "let's be friends" act the other day in front of Rose, and I'm really not buying it now, to tell you the truth.

Paul: It's not an act. Dusty, I'm trying to get past all of the poison. What are you doing?

Dusty: I'm trying to keep Rose from getting cut up into little pieces.

Paul: What does that -- I don't even know what that means.

Dusty: It means you're lying, pal. It means that you're trying to pay back Rose for what she did to you. And, um, you're certainly not going to marry her, that's for sure.

Paul: I'm so sorry. I didn't even think that this would be so hard for you. Dusty, listen. You don't need to be jealous, all right? If you do, that's just going to eat you alive.

Dusty: I'm not jealous.

Paul: Well, good. Rose and I are getting married, and I really want you to be in the wedding.

Dusty: Uh-huh. So, we all wave good-bye while you two fly off to "gay Paree"? Paris is just a lame gimmick for Rose to think you're on the level.

Paul: All right, if this is a lame gimmick, why did I rent an apartment there?

Dusty: If life is so great in France , why don't you two jump on a plane right now? 'Cause I am sure Rose wouldn't mind leaving a little early.

[Phone ringing]

Paul: I'm really sorry, I've got to take this. I'm sorry.

[Phone ringing] hello?

Rose: You gotta get over here quick.

Paul: Why, what's wrong?

Rose: Paul, I'm not hurt or anything, just -- just come over here. I'm home.

Paul: All right, I'll be right there. That was Rose. I gotta go. Listen, don't wait too long to call this guy about the tuxedo.

[Dusty sighs]

Dusty: Hey, it's me. Don't hang up. It's about Paul.

Coming up on "As The World Turns" --

Rose: I think we should change everything.

Paul: I don't know what you're talking about.

Rose: I think we should get married -- tonight.

Carly: Just swear to me that there is no way that Rosanna is gonna lose that baby.

Katie: Did you take the test? What did it say?

Paul: What's going on?

Rose: Oh -- oh, thank God you're here.

Paul: Whoa, what's wrong with you? You're shaking.

Rose: I got some calls, some phone calls. Somebody called me and they told me to watch my back. And then they called back again and they just hung up on me.

Paul: All right, all right. Hey, you're going to be okay. Come here. Sit down. What -- did you recognize who called?

Rose: No, no, no, no. They had one of those, like, voice things, you know, to make their voice all weird and creepy --

Paul: Male or female?

Rose: I don't know, but they were serious. And they used my name. They said, "watch your back, Rosie."

Paul: Rose, it's gonna be okay.

Rose: Yeah?

Paul: Yeah, it's probably -- it's just some kid who didn't like his haircut.

Rose: Yeah, I guess. I just -- you know, with everything that's been going on with us, I'm thinking maybe, you know, who --

Paul: What? I don't get it. If it's not some kid, then who?

Rose: Your mother -- came by here ranting and raving how I'm ruining her life. And then Lily came by and told me that Hal told me to watch out for Barbara because I'm the one responsible for her not being able to see Will.

Paul: Hold on. You're saying that there's someone calling you and terrorizing you, and you think it's my mother?

Rosanna: Hey. There's my boy. Did he behave himself?

Emma: Oh, he was a perfect gentleman.

Rosanna: Were you?

Emma: Yes, he was.

Rosanna: You were a perfect gentleman? Just like your daddy, huh?

Emma: Oh, good. Then everything's all right, huh?

Rosanna: Why wouldn't it be?

Emma: Well, I don't know. Craig left here, you were a little upset.

Rosanna: Oh, yeah. My advice to you is don't try to get anything past Emma. I was upset before, but I'm not now.

Emma: What changed?

Rosanna: Me. I decided to stop doubting Craig every time he does something that doesn't make sense. Lately, he's done a lot to prove himself to me, and it's high time I started giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Craig: I wanted to make my wife happy, so I went to Canada and found us a baby boy.

Carly: Right. Yes, you did. In record time, too. You know, I've wondered about that. How did you get this adoption to go through so fast?

Craig: The agency was pretty efficient. They cut a few corners; they cut through all the red tape. But the adoption is perfectly legal.

Carly: And this Annabelle Fettle person, she'll stand up in court and she'll swear to that?

Craig: Well, standing up in court might be a --

Carly: What?

Craig: Problem for her. She's in a little trouble with the Canadian authorities.

Carly: What? The woman who arranged the adoption is a fugitive from justice? Craig, I'm going to kill you!

Craig: I think you're overreacting.

Carly: No, then swear it to me.

Craig: What?

Carly: Just swear to me that there is no way that Rosanna is gonna lose that baby.

Katie: Did you take the test? What did it say?

Alison: That I'm pregnant.

Katie: Oh, honey. Alison, I'm so sorry. I know this is not the news you wanted to get.

Alison: I flunked every test in high school, and I pass this one. I am such a loser.

Katie: No, you're not. You're just -- pregnant. The real test is in how you handle it.

Alison: No, I can't handle this. I can't even think right now!

Katie: No, I know. I don't blame you. And you shouldn't have to -- you shouldn't have to do this alone. Who's the father? Is it Chris?

Alison: Yeah.

Katie: So, what are you gonna do?

Alison: I don't know. I'm 18; I barely just stopped fighting with my own mother. I'm not ready to be one.

Katie: Well, you know, there are other options.

Alison: No, I can't have an abortion. Not after the way that I came into this world.

Katie: What, your mother didn't want to have you?

Alison: No, the opposite. She was dying to have me, so -- she couldn't conceive, so Emily donated her egg.

Katie: So Emily's your biological mother?

Alison: Yeah, it's weird, huh? And at first I really hated it, but after I got used to it, I don't know, I just felt so loved. Like there's these two people in this world that just wanted to walk through fire just to have me. So I can't just treat being pregnant like something that I can just throw away.

Katie: Okay. Well, then there are some things that you're gonna need to do.

Alison: I know, I know. I'm going to end up having to buy maternity clothes.

Katie: No, no. I was talking about going to see a doctor, getting on some prenatal vitamins, stay away from alcohol and anything that's bad for you -- and you're gonna need to tell Chris that he's about to become a father.

Alison: No. No, I can't do that.

Katie: You have to. Alison, he has to know.

Alison: No, he'll blame me.

Katie: He's a doctor. He knows that you didn't get pregnant alone.

Alison: Oh, God.

Katie: And after you tell Chris, you're gonna need to tell Emily and your mom.

Alison: How? How can -- how can this be happening to me?

Bob: Look, your mother's just concerned that you're making this decision for the right reason, and not because of a relationship that just didn't work out.

Chris: Dad, I've already admitted that Alison was part of the reason, but so are you.

Bob: Me?

Chris: Yeah. When you were sick, I did some serious bargaining. All right? And I made a promise that if you got better, I would do whatever I could to make you proud of me. And I think that the best way that I can do that is to go where I'm needed most. Philadelphia Children's needs me right now. Alison doesn't.

Kim: Chris, darling, this situation with Alison has hurt you, but, you know, this will pass.

Chris: Yeah, well, it'll pass a lot sooner if I go to Philly. Once I get there and start learning the ropes, I'll be too busy to even think about her.

Bob: Is there anything we can do?

Chris: Yeah. You can give me your blessing.

Carly: I would love to take your word for it, but we both know how monumentally dumb that would be, so why don't you give me some proof -- give me some kind of proof that this adoption is not illegal.

Craig: Well, of course it's le -- look, I even -- I even have a photograph of the mother. Here you go.

Carly: She looks about 12.

Craig: 17, but that is Jane Currier, that's Cabot's biological mother. She lives with her parents in Ottawa .

Carly: And she signed off on this adoption?

Craig: She doesn't want to see the child she gave birth to anymore. Cabot's in no danger from her.

Carly: Oh. Well, good. So you spoke to her yourself when you were in Canada , right?

Craig: Well, actually --

Carly: Craig --

Craig: What?

Carly: Please tell me that you spoke with this girl.

Craig: Why?

Carly: Because, Craig. Otherwise, you have only the word of Annabelle Fettle that Cabot was given up willingly. This baby could have been kidnapped. Or this teenager coerced into giving him up!

Craig: You're being melodramatic.

Carly: No, no, I'm being realistic!

Craig: We are Cabot's legal parents.

Carly: Because the head of some crooked adoption agency told you so? You have got to talk to Cabot's birth mother. If he didn't come to you with everything signed, sealed and delivered, then Rosanna has to know about it. So either you talk to this Jane Currier person, or I will.

Craig: All right, all right, all right. I will track her down.

Carly: When?

Craig: Soon. All right, all right. I'll go this week. Now, are we finished?

Carly: Go.

Craig: You know, Rosanna's not the only one who loves this little boy.

Carly: I know. But talk to his birth mother, Craig, before you and Rosanna get in too deep.

Rose: Is this the way we're gonna spend the days leading up to our wedding? Trying to figure out who's making threatening phone calls to the bride? I can't take it anymore. I can't keep telling myself that everything is gonna be all right.

Paul: Well then let me tell you. Everything is going to be all right.

Rose: Yeah?

Paul: Okay? Yeah. And we're not going to let whoever this is get to us. We're going to have the last laugh, we are. We're going to have this big, beautiful cake-cutting, champagne-swilling, foot-stomping wedding, all right? And then we're gonna live happily ever after.

Rose: Oh. And go to Paris ?

Paul: Yeah. Leave Oakdale behind, leave my mother behind with her disastrous intentions and her funny, little voices.

Rose: And Will. I know you hate saying good-bye to him. I know it's killing you inside.

Paul: You. You make me feel like nobody else has ever made me feel. And I am gonna miss my family. But I need you, Rose.

Rose: Good. Because I need you, too. I need somebody like you to keep my feet planted in the ground. You make me feel safe. Mm. So, we get married.

Paul: Yeah, okay. We'll get married. With a 40-layer cake and some fireworks.

Rose: And how many babies? How many babies?

Paul: Lots of babies. I don't know, how many babies?

Rose: They're gonna speak French, right? I won't be able to understand what they're saying, what am I going to do about that?

Paul: Well, I'll teach them how to speak French with a Jersey accent. Yeah.

Rose: Oh.

Paul: What? Rose, what's wrong?

Rose: You ever get that feeling that -- like somebody just walked over your grave?

Paul: I'll get you a sweater --

Rose: No, I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding around here. I think we should change everything. Yeah, I think it's a sign. I think we should turn everything upside down.

Paul: I don't know what you're talking about.

Rose: I think we should get married -- tonight.

Barbara: I assume this is about Paul?

Dusty: It's nice to see you, too. Have a seat.

Barbara: This better be good.

Dusty: You think Rose is gonna hurt your son. I think your son is gonna hurt Rose.

Barbara: Oh, please --

Dusty: And we both -- hold on a second -- we both want to end their relationship, and we both have our reasons. So what do you say you and I pool our resources?

Barbara: Been there. Hated it.

Dusty: You got anyone else on your side these days? I didn't think so. So why don't you hear me out before you shut me down?

Barbara: Okay, fine. I'm listening.

Dusty: I think your son's lying. And I think that the lease for this big spread in Paris is a great work of fiction. And I want you to help me prove it.

Chris: Mom? Dad? How 'bout it? Can you wish me well?

Kim: I -- if you really want the job in Philadelphia --

Chris: I do.

Bob: Well, son, then do what you have to do.

Kim: And of course we'll be supportive of you. You know that.

Chris: Thank you. I know that I've let you guys down in the past, but this will be different.

Bob: Hey, hey. Let's get this straight -- you haven't let us down. You've made mistakes like everybody else who's human. But you usually learn from them, and try to right your wrongs.

Kim: I agree with your father 100%. We are very proud of you.

Kim: So, how soon do you have to leave?

Chris: Tomorrow. They wanted me as soon as I could get there. All I have to do is pack up a few things, tell gram --

[Phone ringing] excuse me. Sorry. Hello?

Alison: Chris, it's me, Alison. I have, um, something to tell you. But not over the phone.

Chris: I'm going to come by the hospital tomorrow morning.

Alison: Well, I have the early shift, so that'll work.

Chris: Oh, and Ali?

Alison: Yeah?

Chris: I'm glad we're getting together, because -- well, there's something I want to tell you, too.

Rosanna: You know what? You have had a very long day. And so have I. See if we can get that light here. What do you say you and I go upstairs and sit in the rocking chair and after a couple of rounds, then we'll go to bed?

Craig: Hey. He still awake?

Rosanna: Ah, yes he is. We both are. How did you get home?

Craig: Taxi. Hey, hey, Cabot. Cabot. How are you and your mama doing?

Rosanna: Well, we're both fine.

Craig: Yeah?

Rosanna: Ready for a couple of good night kisses, though, okay?

Craig: Yeah? Mm.

Rosanna: Did I happen to mention that I was very, very, very sorry?

Craig: No, I don't believe you did.

Rosanna: Well, I am. I'm very sorry. I never should have doubted you. After I came home, I went out again to Carly's.

Craig: Why?

Rosanna: Well, I had to ask her about the wig and everything, and she said that it was hers, so I guess I'm apologizing for not trusting you.

Craig: Oh, it's all right.

Rosanna: No, it's not. You've just given me everything that I could have ever wished for.

[Cabot crying] oh. When I wanted a baby, you went all the way to Canada and brought home this beautiful miracle. I never should have doubted you. I love you so much. So, I'm not as tired as I thought I was. Why don't you take care of your business, and then come upstairs.

Craig: Take care of my business.

[Craig sighs] yes, Ottawa information please. I'd like a number for "Currier," residential listing. C-U-R-R-I-E-R.

[Cabot crying]

Rosanna: There you go, my precious. There's your little lamb, and your blanket, and a big kiss from mommy, you know why? Because you have changed my life. [Rosanna humming lullaby] Yeah, go on. Close your eyes.

Craig: What? Oh no, never mind. I don't need the number.

[Rosanna humming lullaby]

Barbara: All right, what's the plan?

Dusty: First, I want you to help me with the nonsense of Parisian politics. I have no clue which agency has a record of recent leases. You've done a lot of business there. You've got contacts, right?

Barbara: Yeah. Yeah, a few.

Dusty: A few?

Barbara: Mm-hmm.

Dusty: Good. Why don't you go through your palm pilot and you find me someone who can run Paul Ryan's name, and then we'll see if his signature comes up on a new lease.

Barbara: And what if this person doesn't find what you're looking for? I mean, what if there is no rental for Mr. And Mrs. Paul Ryan? What then?

Dusty: Well, then we know you're good little boy has been lying about the wedding, about the apartment, all of it. And Rose isn't going to want to see or hear from him again.

Rose: I want to marry you now, before -- I don't know, it's too late and something happens.

Paul: Hold on. You -- you said that I made you feel safe, right? Did you mean that?

Rose: Yeah, of course.

Paul: Okay, well, then trust me. All right? I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you. I'm not going to let anybody make you miss your own wedding. Now come on, how old were you when you first started thinking about getting married?

Rose: 6.

Paul: 6?

Rose: Yeah, I was going to marry Frankie Albalino.

Paul: Oh, I'll kill him.

Rose: His dad drove an ice cream truck. And I was going to have this big dress. You know, poofier than Cinderella's.

Paul: Wow.

Rose: All my friends were gonna be there.

Paul: And they will, Rose. And all of Oakdale will finally witness what I have always known -- that our love is unstoppable. All right? And you are going to be a beautiful bride. Even if you do have a big poofy dress.

Rose: If I ever sleep again. I jump every time the phone rings.

Paul: Well, just to be on the safe side, would you move in with me?

Rose: I don't know. I have so much to do, you know? For the wedding --

Paul: I'll send some guys over, pack the place up. Let me take care of you. I won't let anybody come between us.

On the next "As The World Turns" --

Chris: I accepted a position at Philadelphia Children's.

Alison: You're moving to Philadelphia for sure?

Dusty: I called you because I know you love your sister. Your sister's life is at stake.
