Bob: Walker, did you get the results of that vial that Alison took from Dr. Gordon?
Walker: Positive for potassium chloride. I -- I don't think Dr. Gordon is our man.
Bob: Well, neither do I. But I'm curious, why rule him out?
Walker: Well, I'm not a professional profiler. But I've seen many of these cases before and serial killers -- they're very good at what they do. They have to be, to avoid detection. Dr. Gordon, he's -- he's too young, too green. The man we're looking for, he's -- he's brilliant, he's seasoned. He's killed before and he likes it.
Bob: It sounds like you have someone in mind.
Walker: Well, I've been going through the personnel files you gave me, recent hires at Memorial, and, well, there is one name that stands out.
Alison: You wanna know why I was going out with Gordo? To make Chris --
Susan: To make Chris jealous.
Alison: How did you know? Oh, great. Now my mom knows, so the whole world is going to know. I'm such a loser.
Rick: Alison, you're a beautiful girl. But you need to learn one thing -- patience.
Susan: Patience, sweetie. You want Chris to take you seriously, you have to take yourself seriously.
[Doorbell rings]
Rick: I'll get it.
Alison: I try, mom. But everything I do always backfires. I go to prison, because accepting the deal was the mature thing to do. And guess what happens? I -- my two psycho roommates, they try to kill the matron. You know? And then I get -- I get a job at the hospital and half my patients die. And I go out with another guy to make another guy jealous, and he turns out to be a serial killer. I just don't know, mom. Whose life is like that? There's gotta be something wrong with me.
Chris: Or maybe you're just a pain in the butt.
Mike: I have no idea. We were heading east. That road just dog-legged back on itself so many times, I -- I could have sworn Carly's cabin was right over that hill, but --
Katie: We're gonna be fine, Mike. Mm, don't you love the smell of this air? Ah.
Mike: We'll rest for five minutes.
Katie: Mike, come on. We're having an adventure.
Mike: Hey, you know what? While you're rolling around in the hay, I'm probably missing my daughter's birth.
Jack: Okay, Hannah called. She's on her way.
Carly: Did she call the hospital?
Jack: Yeah, yeah. She said not to worry. We've got plenty of time. You okay?
Carly: I know that Mike is wrong about us. But I can't stop thinking about what he said about us and about how we're breaking up all the time over and over again --
Jack: Okay, you know what? It's different this time. Because we promised each other.
Carly: We made a lot of promises, Jack.
Jack: Okay. Are you asking if I'm gonna change? If you're gonna change? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean our lives are gonna calm down. Stuff happens, Carly. And yeah, it throws us off track for a little while. But we -- we always come back to each other. Because we love each other. I've never quit on you and you've never quit on me. Answer me this one. Most people, first thing that pops into their minds when they think of Carly?
Carly: Jack.
Jack: There you go.
Carly: Thank you. I needed that.
Margo: Don't tell me you lost him? You lost him?
Cop #1: I see him. He's on the roof.
Margo: Great.
Holden: I really think that we should go in before something goes wrong.
Margo: Holden, you've got to give us a chance to get this to work.
Holden: I'm not standing here in this alley while Dusty walks away with $10 million. Lily and Rose will die, Margo.
Margo: If anything goes wrong, we will be right here.
Holden: Anything goes wrong, Dusty is gonna pay.
Spangler: Toss me the suitcase -- nice and easy.
Dusty: Not until you tell me where you hid Lily and Rose, and I got to know that they're safe.
Spangler: You're in no position to make demands, tough guy.
Dusty: I'm in a position to take this suitcase and knock it over the edge and you know I'll do it if you don't tell me where they are.
Spangler: Okay, okay -- let's not get crazy here. I'm gonna tell you where they are.
Dusty: Where are Lily and Rose? Charley? I'm gonna knock this beautiful briefcase over the edge, and we're gonna have $10 million just floating around the streets. We're gonna make a lotta bums happy today, chuck.
Spangler: You do that and your girlfriend dies. And then nobody gets what they want. Come on, Dusty, be smart. Just give me the bag. Let's get this thing over with.
Dusty: Let me ask you a question. You had Lily, why Rose?
Spangler: Because you like her. Give me the bag, come on. I'll tell you where she is. Right here. Now, open it. Open it. Now take a walk.
Walk. Nice. Mm, the ink when it's new? No other smell like it in the world.
Dusty: Chuck --
Spangler: Hey!
Dusty: Let's not play games, Charley. You got your money. Tell me where they are.
Holden: Margo, look. There's smoke.
Margo: You got the subject in sight?
Cop #1: There's all this smoke. It could be diversionary.
Margo: Block the exits, get Leon and Korb on the fire escapes. We're coming in. Let's go. You wait in the car for us, Holden.
Holden: Not a chance, Margo.
Bob: Rick Decker? You think that Dr. Rick Decker could be a serial killer? He has a medical pedigree a mile long. He's an asset to this hospital. For God's sake, he's my doctor.
Walker: I know he's well-liked by the staff and the patients, but he also fits the profile better than anyone else. And he has complete access to the pharmacy.
Bob: Well, so do I. So does Susan, so does Lynn. So does John. 90% of the doctors you've met here have access to drugs. Does that make us all serial killers?
Walker: Bob, you brought me on board because I have no friendships, no loyalties. All right? I'm objective. I'm here to look at the facts. And, with your permission, I intend to look into Rick's pedigree, as you call it.
Bob: No, I'll do that. I'm not about to tarnish a doctor's reputation on a hunch, Walker. No, I'll -- I'll make some inquiries on my own.
Walker: It's been my experience that it's easier if the consultant conducts these inquiries.
Bob: Walker, I'll do this.
Walker: As you wish.
Bob: It can't be Rick.
Alison: I'm a pain in the butt? Then what are you doing here, doctor?
Chris: Did I fail to mention that you're my favorite pain in the butt?
Susan: Could I see you in the kitchen -- ?
Alison: No, you don't have to go anywhere, mother. It's not like Chris is staying or anything.
Chris: You want me to leave?
Rick: See if you could get her to drink some of this tea, doctor.
Alison: I don't want any tea.
Susan: Alison --
[cell phone rings]
Alison: But thank you, Rick.
Susan: He made that especially for you, because it's your favorite.
Rick: Hello.
Alison: I said thank you, mom.
Rick: What seems to be the problem? Yeah, I'll be right there.
Susan: Who was that?
Rick: That's Bob. He needs me at the hospital.
Chris: Is he okay?
Rick: Yeah, he's fine, Chris. It's just some -- just something administrative. We shouldn't be long.
Alison: So, you're staying?
Chris: You're just mad because you're embarrassed.
Alison: About what?
Chris: About going out with Gordo to make me jealous.
Alison: Was going out with Gordo a bad decision? Yes. But that's not why I'm mad. I'm mad because you refuse to admit you like me.
Chris: Alison --
Alison: No, I don't want to have another speech about how I'm too young or too screwed up or too whatever. You like me. And until you're mature enough to admit it, then why don't you just do both of us a favor and just stay away from me. Unless you can't.
Mike: You know, I'm -- I'm still trying to figure out how I could have ran out of gas when I know that I had a full tank.
Katie: Maybe we sprang a leak.
Mike: No, I checked under the chassis. It's dry as a bone.
Katie: Listen, Mike, I know that you love your daughter, and it's gonna be fine. You're gonna see her and hold her and be together. But, right now, I just think it's important for Carly and Jack to have some space.
Mike: Jack. Jack did this. He is the one who took all the gas out of my car so I'd miss this birth.
Katie: No, he didn't.
Mike: You knew about this?
Katie: Yeah. I did -- it. I siphoned the gas.
Mike: Why?
Katie: Because when a woman has a baby, she needs what she needs. And right now, Carly needs Jack.
Jack: Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.
[Carly moaning] good. Good job. Great job.
Carly: Whoa. That was strong, Jack.
Jack: All right. Okay. Come on. Let's walk it out. Here we go. Come on. That's right. Oh. We have plenty of time. All right? Hannah is gonna be here any minute. And we will welcome our little girl into the world.
Carly: Our little girl?
Jack: She's gonna be mine as much as Mike's.
Carly: No, what I mean, Jack, is that we have to give her a name. We can't keep calling her little girl.
Jack: Okay. Okay, we'll give her a name.
Carly: When? I'm having contractions now, Jack. She's coming. We have to have a name before she gets here. For her.
Jack: You've got to calm down.
Carly: I'll calm down when I have a name for my daughter, Jack!
Jack: All right. All right. I thought you made a list.
Carly: I did. I left it at home.
Jack: You forgot?
Carly: If I remembered, I wouldn't be freaking out, would I, Jack?!
Jack: Okay. All right. Hey, listen. We will come up with a name. That's what we'll do. We'll come up with a name.
[Carly moaning] breathe, honey. Breathe through it. Just breathe through it.
Carly: Get me a name, Jack. Quick! Oh hey, hi... I'm digger.
Dusty: Charley! Charley? Charley. Hey, hey, hey. Don't die on me right now. You gotta tell me where they are. Where are Rose and Lily? Charley! You don't wanna go out this way. Hey, Charley. Oh, my God.
Margo: Donovan!
Dusty: I'm right here. I'm right here.
Margo: What happened to him?
Dusty: I -- he was just about to tell me where they are. Then all of a sudden, this smoke canister just kind of falls out of the sky, and the whole place fills with smoke. I tried to get over to the entrance to make sure nobody got out or in while I was in, and the smoke faded, and I saw him lying there. Somebody must have just jumped down from one of these roofs and --
Holden: And what?
Dusty: -- Knifed him.
Holden: And then what? Flew away?
Margo: All right, I want a roof-to-roof search, rooftops, fire escapes, basements. Go!
Holden: Is that the money over there?
Dusty: Yeah. And there's a wad missing because he took some out and put it in his pocket.
Holden: You gave him the money before he actually told you where Lily and Rose are?
Dusty: I had no choice. The money's right there!
Margo: All right. All right. So the smoke cleared, you found him lying there with bleeding, stab wound.
Dusty: That's it. He had a knife in his back. I took the knife out.
EMT #1: Detective?
Holden: Is he dead?
EMT #1: There's nothing we can do.
Rick: Bob? Are you all right?
Bob: Yeah, yeah. I'm fine.
Rick: Chris was at the house when you called. I didn't want to worry him. I told him it was nothing. Now, are you having a reaction to your meds?
Bob: No, no. It's nothing like that. I didn't mean to be so cryptic on the phone. We're going through all the personnel records, and we're looking for anyone who might fit the profile of our alleged serial killer.
Rick: So first they blame you and now they blame me, huh? I assume that this is Dr. Daniels' initiative?
Bob: He's ruling people out.
Rick: And since I'm a new hire with access to meds, I'm a suspect, right?
Bob: Look, I told him it couldn't be you. I'm sorry --
Rick: You can tell the good doctor that he has my permission to contact any of the hospitals where I either practiced or taught. And I would be more than happy to answer any questions that he might have.
Bob: Thank you. And again, I'm really sorry.
Rick: No, no, Bob, please. I'm sorry. It's not your fault. By the way, when did all this start?
Bob: Well, they're assuming that it started with the death of Stan Crumly -- pending exhumation, of course.
Rick: Well, unless I'm mistaken, I didn't start here until after he died.
Bob: Of course, it was after Crumly died. Rick, I'm sorry. I --
Rick: No, please, Bob, you -- if you apologize to me one more time, I may make you wait the next time you come in for a checkup. Which reminds me -- please, with all of this going around, it's going to create a lot of stress. Now, please, you're going to have to take care of yourself.
Bob: That's good advice.
Rick: And don't -- don't worry about me. I figure I'm in good company.
Mike: You messed with my car?
Katie: The car is fine. It's just empty. Simon taught me. And how to hot-wire a Cadillac, if you ever need that.
Mike: You had no right to do that.
Katie: You asked me to Montana to help you.
Mike: Yes, help me. I am going to miss my daughter's birth!
Katie: I hope so. Trust me. I work in a hospital. The birth of a child is about the mother. And what Carly needs right now is Jack.
Mike: Okay.
Katie: Just think about it this way, all right. Carly gets what she needs. Jack can calm down. The baby gets cleaned up and comfortable. And then when you walk in that door again, everybody is happy to see you this time.
Mike: I shouldn't have come here. I should have just let them handle it, just, you know, trust that they would bring my baby home.
Katie: Mike, if you were the father of my baby, and you traveled halfway across the United States to come see how I was doing, to come say hello to your new baby girl, do you know what that means? It's a man who is committed, a man who cares, a man who shows up. I'd smother you with kisses and thank God that my child had you as a father.
Mike: We should go.
Jack: Francine?
Carly: No.
Jack: Lulu?
Carly: Lulu? Are you kidding?
Jack: Okay, honey, breathe. Just breathe, please.
Carly: She needs to have a strong name, Jack. She's gonna need to be a strong, strong girl if she's gonna survive you and Mike.
[Carly moans]
Jack: Okay, honey, stop talking. Stop talking and start breathing, okay?
Carly: I'll breathe when you give me a name.
Jack: Mimi?
Carly: No.
Jack: Eliza?
Carly: No.
Jack: Rainbow?
Carly: No! No. It needs to be a smart name. She's gonna have to be a smart girl, a very wise woman if she's gonna survive you and me, Jack. Aagh.
Jack: Okay, wise. A wise, wise woman. A sage.
Carly: What?
Jack: Is that it?
Carly: Yeah. Yeah. A sage?
Jack: The contractions are getting longer, honey. You're doing a great job.
Carly: You know what, Emma -- Emma has sage growing outside her kitchen. There were sprigs of it all over the room that I was in when I stayed there.
Jack: Always loved the smell. Not too much now --
[stifled moaning]
Jack: Okay? Another one already?
Carly: Yes.
[Carly screams]
Jack: Okay, okay, honey. We can do this. Just hang on, all right.
Carly: She's coming, Jack!
Jack: No, she's not coming. She can't be coming.
[Talking over each other]
Carly: Listen to me! She's coming! I feel it, Jack! Where's Hannah?
[Carly moaning]
Jack: Forget about Hannah, okay? We have done this once before. If need be, we will do it again, okay. Come on. You gotta rest when you can. All right? That's it. That's it. That's it.
Holden: If you're not gonna question him, then, I'll do it myself. I just need 20 minutes with you. You better tell me where Rose and Lily are.
Jack: Think of Barbara Ryan. Yeah --
Barbara: For you, Paul. I did it all for you.
Jack: Okay, honey, I can feel the head. Get ready to push. Push, push, push, push.
Carly: I can't.
Jack: Come on, you can, too. You can do this, push.
Carly: I can't do it.
Jack: Yes, you can.
Carly: I can't.
Jack: You're doing a great job. You're doing a great job. Honey, you're almost there. You're almost there. Okay? Just -- the next time you have a contraction, just push like you've never pushed before. All right?
Carly: I'll try. Oh.
Jack: Okay. Here we go, here we go. All right, it's time for an adrenaline shot. You got this? You got this? You ready? Think of Barbara Ryan.
[Carly groans] yeah, yeah. That's right. That's good, that's good! Now -- now one for Rosanna.
[Carly howls] Rosanna Cabot, there you go. Can't forget Craig. You can't forget Craig.
[Carly howls] good, good, good, good, good. Last but not least -- B.R.O.
[Carly howls] yes, honey.
[Relieved scream] you did it! Baby, you did it! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh.
Carly: You have her?
Jack: Oh, I got her.
Carly: Is she breathing? Jack?
[Baby crying] oh, Jack.
Jack: Ten fingers, ten toes. And she's got the biggest, brightest eyes. She's looking right at me.
Carly: Let me have her.
Jack: I -- I just have to tie off the cord.
Carly: You hear that, Sage? You're in good hands, honey.
[Baby crying]
Jack: She's so beautiful.
Carly: Jack? I'm so glad that it was just the two of us. No doctor and no midwife.
Jack: Me, too.
Carly: Jack? I don't care what anybody says. You're her daddy. She's yours. That's your daddy, Sage.
Jack: You wanna meet your mommy?
Carly: Oh, there she is. You're so beautiful. Sage.
Chris: I should go.
Alison: See, that proves it. You're afraid to be alone with me.
Chris: I am not afraid of you, Alison. Why is this so important to you?
Alison: Because it is. When you kiss someone and you feel something --
Chris: Who said that we felt anything? You know, other than the physiological reactions that you'd feel with anyone.
Alison: Uh-huh. Well, where I come from, "physiological" means something.
Chris: It means whatever you want it to.
Alison: You wanna bet?
Chris: It's a scientific fact.
Alison: Okay, then. Are you willing to prove your theory?
Chris: Fine. Sure.
Alison: Good. Kiss me.
Hal: What do you know about potassium chloride, Dr. Gordon?
Gordo: It's an electrolyte solution. It aids in the conduction of electricity in the body, specifically the heart. If it's injected too rapidly into the body, it can act as a poison. It can stop the heart in two seconds flat.
Hal: So you know a lot about potassium chloride.
Gordo: What are you gonna do, arrest me for being a really smart doctor? Dr. Hughes, thank God you're here. Will you tell him I didn't kill anyone?
Bob: Hal, can I see you for a minute?
Hal: I don't know how much longer I can hold him, Bob.
Bob: Dr. Daniels doesn't think that he fits the profile.
Hal: I've seen a lot of guys who don't fit the profile who did the crime. I'm gonna put an officer on him.
Gordo: You're going to have me followed? Why, because I dated your stepdaughter?
Bob: Would you prefer a suspension?
Gordo: Can I go?
Hal: For now. Sure.
Bob: Dr. Gordon, you're on the roster. I expect to see you at the hospital.
Dusty: I don't get it. I mean, why would someone kill Spangler and not take the money?
Margo: Spangler was working with someone?
Dusty: McCann -- he uses this guy McCann. Another guy named Stanley. But they're not smart enough nor are they big enough to pull something like this off. It had to be someone else.
Holden: Yeah, you. You were working with him. You were here. You wanted the money for yourself, so you stabbed him.
Dusty: I stabbed him? Yes. Yes, I stabbed him. I confess. And then I waited here for the cops. Use your head, my man. Lily and Rose -- I would not jeopardize them. You know that.
Holden: You tell that to Paul. Or Rose. Or Molly. You don't care who you use.
Cop #1: We checked the adjoining rooftops. Nothing.
Margo: Okay, join the door-to-door. Anybody who had a view of the roof.
Holden: Margo, we're wasting time here. Dusty did this, and I want him arrested. I want him taken downtown --
Margo: Get a hold of yourself.
Holden: I want him quest -- all right, fine. If you're not gonna question him, then I'll do it myself. I just need 20 minutes with you, you're gonna tell me where Rose and Lily are.
Dusty: You want to kill me? That's okay. That's okay. A lot of people do. Is this gonna bring Lily and Rose back, Holden?
Margo: Holden, let it go. Holden, let it go. Let it go, Holden.
Dusty: Margo, I didn't do this. You gotta believe me.
Margo: Who did?
Dusty: Someone who's got an axe to grind with me and Rose. Lily has nothing to do with this. Spangler grabbed Lily, because he thought she was Rose.
Margo: And the $10 million?
Dusty: The -- who cares about the money?!
Holden: All right, all right. You know what? You two want to play the 20 questions game, you go ahead and do that. I'm gonna go find my wife.
Margo: Holden, you are not going anywhere. You're going right back down to the station.
Holden: You gonna lock him up?
Margo: It's a distinct possibility.
Dusty: Oh, come on. How many times do we have to have this conversation?
Margo: Nobody is doing anything without my say-so. Is that understood? I've got a dead man and I got two missing women. Now I've got a job to do. Holden, you go back to the station. Get off the rooftop. I've got to get forensics up here. Go.
Dusty: You've gotta let me go find this guy Stanley. He's the guy that Spangler uses the most.
Margo: I gotta tell you something. If anyone's going on a recon mission again, it certainly isn't gonna be you. You botched this one royally.
Dusty: Margo, whoever engineered this whole kidnapping thing is definitely the guy who killed Spangler. You gotta go let me find Stanley. I'll get some answers for you.
Margo: I don't think you understand me, Donovan. You are not going anywhere.
Susan: I thought you were gonna meet me downstairs.
Rick: I'm sorry, sweetie, I got caught up.
Susan: Is Bob okay?
Rick: Oh, he's fine. He's fine. You know, why don't we get some dinner and give Alison and Chris some -- some room.
Susan: Something's bothering you.
Rick: No, I'm fine.
Susan: No, you're not. You're upset. And I want to know what it is. Come on. You can trust me. You know that.
Rick: Well, I didn't want to worry you. But it appears that Dr. Daniels has taken it upon himself to go through the personnel files looking for suspects, people who fit a certain profile. I guess I struck him as a serial killer.
Susan: What?
Rick: That's why Bob called me -- to warn me.
Susan: But that's --
Rick: No, it's --
Susan: -- Totally outrageous.
Rick: It's not -- nothing is going to come of it. It's -- I'm not a serial killer. And after he's spoken to everyone in my life, he'll know that.
Susan: I can't believe it. Dr. Daniels? Would you mind explaining to me why you think the man I live with is a serial killer?
Chris: You know, this is the dumbest thing that I've ever --
Alison: So you are afraid.
Chris: You just want another kiss.
Alison: And so do you. Which is why you kissed me for the second time, because you liked the one so much the first time.
Chris: Alison, I could kiss you 50 times and it wouldn't mean what you want it to mean.
Alison: You're on.
Bob: This is exactly what I was trying to avoid -- doctors feeling that their integrity is being called to question.
Hal: I've got four people dead, Bob. I'll question the pope if that's what it takes.
Bob: I know, Hal. I understand, but I've got a hospital to run.
Hal: And I've got a case to solve. Dr. Gordon's a suspect until I say otherwise.
Bob: Just tread lightly, huh? I mean, suspect or not, until we find out something, they're all presumed innocent.
Carly: Hi. Hi, baby.
Jack: Here you go.
Carly: Her name is Sage.
Jack: You think Mike's gonna go for that?
Carly: It's not up to him.
Hannah: Sorry, guys. The bridge was out. Well, look who's here. Didn't need us at all. Oh, she is gorgeous.
Carly: Her name is Sage.
Dr. Banks: Oh, you've got beautiful color, Sage. A nice, healthy pink.
Hannah: And how's the mama?
Jack: I -- I'm gonna go outside. Thanks for looking out for my girls.
Mike: The doctor's here?
Katie: Yeah, we saw his car.
Jack: Carly had a healthy baby girl.
Katie: What? Oh, congratulations. Oh, congratulations to you, too.
Jack: They don't need us in there right now. The doctor's examining her.
Mike: I figured.
Jack: Hey, congratulations.
Mike: Yeah, you, too.
Alison: Well, if you didn't feel that --
Chris: Alison --
Alison: You said that if you kissed me, all you would feel would be some physiological whatever. So, been there, done that. So, Chris, tell me. Is -- is that how you felt? Because you were kind of there for a long time.
Chris: Alison, I -- I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow at work.
Alison: Yeah.
Walker: I never accused Dr. Decker. I simply suggested to Dr. Hughes that we rescreen recent hires, and in the process, we discovered that Dr. Decker's arrival at Memorial was post the first suspicious death. Mr. Crumly, wasn't it?
Susan: Yes, that's right.
Rick: So I'm in the clear, right, doctor?
Walker: The timing appears to rule you out.
Rick: Good. I'm glad that you don't think that I could kill innocent patients.
Susan: It is a totally absurd idea. You are the kindest man I know.
Bob: Has anyone seen Dr. Gordon?
Susan: Wasn't he taken in for questioning?
Bob: Yes, but he was released. He's still a suspect. He's supposed to report back here.
Rick: I haven't seen him.
Bob: Well, he's probably cooling off somewhere. He was pretty upset.
Susan: Well, of course he was upset. Nobody likes being accused of murder.
Rick: Well, if I find him, do you want me to talk to him, see if I can cool him down?
Bob: Yeah, I'd appreciate that. Thank you.
Susan: We'd better check on Alison.
Rick: I'll call you if I see him.
Walker: Well, looks like we're back to square one. Two suspects and no hard evidence.
Bob: Two suspects?
Walker: Well, you said Lieutenant Munson still thinks that Dr. Gordon is a suspect. I still think that Rick Decker is a suspect.
Bob: But what about the timing?
Walker: Well, until we're certain that all the deaths were related, there is no timing. In any event, Dr. Decker may not have been on the staff at Memorial, but he was in Oakdale when Mr. Crumly died.
Holden: He tell you anything?
Dusty: What's there to tell?
Margo: Please, the two of you. You. Go bring in Stanley and McCann.
Dusty: You're wasting your time. You know that? Those guys aren't gonna stick around when they know there's heat on them. You should be looking for someone with the ability, the connections, the money to put a hit on Spangler, pull that off. That's impressive.
Holden: And do you have any idea who that might be?
Dusty: Well, probably someone who's got it in for me. And maybe for Rose.
Margo: Barbara Ryan?
Barbara: For you, Paul. I did it all for you. Now do you believe how much I love you?
Hannah: Carly's gonna need to rest. When the baby sleeps, she should sleep.
Jack: Understood.
Hannah: Keep an eye on her blood pressure, her temperature, her -- her appetite.
Jack: Okay.
Dr. Banks: Well, I've swabbed the baby's mouth. And now I just need a blood sample from each of you.
Mike: Blood sample?
Jack: For the paternity test.
Mike: Right.
Katie: Oh, she's so perfect. Look at these little, tiny fingernails. And that little, tiny nose.
Carly: Yeah, she's great.
Katie: You're so lucky. You have this beautiful baby girl, your husband, Parker.
Carly: A friend like you. I really appreciate what you did, getting Mike out of here for a while so Jack and I could be alone together.
Katie: Oh, yeah, well, he wasn't too happy about it. But I think I finally got through to him. I used the whole, "girls need their privacy" argument.
Carly: I was just afraid he and Jack were gonna kill each other and then I'd have to give birth all by myself.
Katie: Oh, no way. I would've been there to help you.
Carly: Katie Peretti, all grown up.
Jack: Doc Banks said he'd -- he'd check in tomorrow to see how you two were doing. I think Mike would like to hold Sage.
Mike: Sage?
Carly: I named her Sage. For wisdom.
Katie: Hey, in that book, it says that Indians used sage to purify the air and bring peace.
Mike: That's a good name.
Carly: Here. You just gotta make sure you hold her head.
[Baby cooing]
Mike: She looks just like you. Hi, Sage. She's so beautiful. Look, we should probably give them some rest, you know? They're probably pretty tired.
Katie: Yeah, absolutely. You know what? We should go into town and actually get some real groceries this time.
Jack: Shh. It's okay. It's okay.
Carly: You are a strong man, Jack Snyder.
Jack: Well, somebody has to be. There you go. Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
Carly: He liked the name.
Jack: It's a beautiful name. I love the name. Oh, okay. Yes. I love this little girl. And I love you. You're worth it all ooh-hoo
Walker: This is a multiple murder investigation, doctor. And no one is immune from questioning.
Chris: So now, I'm a suspect?
Molly: You want to use me as bait?
Dusty: No.
Molly: You want me to lure McCann out of hiding so what, he can slit my throat and drag me off to Lily and Rose? - I'm ready! - I don't think so.
