Amanda: Making your selection?
Marissa: Oh. Got to hand it to the hospital. They sure have interesting ways to raise money.
Amanda: Time's running out. You better make your choice.
Marissa: No, I'm not. Not me.
Amanda: Come on. It's for charity.
Marissa: I'll make a donation, but the last thing I need right now is a date.
Amanda: It wouldn't really be a date if it was with your ex.
Marissa: Bid on J.R.?
Amanda: Come on. How psyched would A.J. be if he knew his parents were hanging out?
Marissa: Yeah, I don't know if that's such a good idea.
Amanda: You wouldn't have to put up with boring small talk. You guys already know everything about each other.
Marissa: Why are you -- J.R. put you up to this, didn't he?
Ryan: Ems, what do you say? A little bit of strawberry ice cream or chocolate, or maybe a little bit of both?
Emma: I just want to go home.
Ryan: Ok. Well, we just got here, so why don't we try to make the best of it?
Emma: Fine. Can I go into the kitchen?
Ryan: Not alone, no.
Emma: Dad, I know everyone who works here. Please?
Ryan: Hey, Vanessa, would you mind taking Emma into the kitchen and showing her around a little bit? That would be great. Ok?
J.R.: How's Emma doing?
Ryan: How do you think she's doing?
J.R.: I'm just glad that she's home safe, and Annie's in Oak Haven, not behind bars.
Ryan: Yeah, I heard you had a hand in that.
J.R.: I know it's not enough.
Ryan: No, it's not even nearly enough.
J.R.: For what it's worth, I plan on keeping tabs on Annie, checking in with Dr. Burke and seeing how the treatment's going. If there's anything else that I can do --
Ryan: Actually, there is something else that you can do. You can stay away from Annie altogether, and Emma. In fact, you can stay away from my entire family.
Scott: Ok. Why do you do that to yourself?
Madison: What?
Scott: You look at these magazines that are filled with tasty food so delicious. You know the only thing we have here -- pasta in the shells and freezer-burn chicken.
Madison: Speaking of, what do you want to eat for dinner?
Scott: There is a slim possibility, very slim, that you may be thawing solo tonight.
Madison: Big plans?
Scott: I got roped into posting my picture for that bachelor auction at the hospital.
Madison: Hmm. Sounds fun.
Scott: Yeah.
Madison: Why do you look grumpy about it?
Scott: What do you mean? This is not grump. No, no. This is amused anticipation. Come on, let's face it. I don't think ladies will be lining up to date the ex-felon.
Madison: If I could afford it, I'd be on that line in a heartbeat.
Greenlee: What's your plan? You staying late tonight?
Kendall: I can't -- or at least I don't think I can. I put in a bid for the bachelor auction.
Greenlee: You're going on a date?
Griffin: Are you the luckiest woman in this hospital or what? Get pizza, beer, one-on-one time with your big brother -- it does not get better than that.
Cara: Yeah, would be the evening of my dreams.
Griffin: Come on. It's gonna be nice. Relaxing night, no drama, no complications.
Cara: "No Kendall" is what you mean, right? This is bizarre. You usually avoid hanging out with women who get too close to you, but this would actually be a first date with Kendall.
Griffin: Do I have to explain it to you again?
Cara: I think you do, yeah.
Griffin: Clearly. Kendall's husband just died. She's neck deep in grief. Anything even remotely resembling a date would be a mistake.
Cara: If you say so.
Griffin: I do. So thank you for getting me off the hook and outbidding her.
Kendall: "A," it is not a date, and, "B," it's just with Griff -- dinner with him.
Greenlee: Castillo? He's the guy you're going on a date with?
Kendall: Yeah. So?
Greenlee: Oh, no, no, no. Don't act like this is no big deal.
Kendall: This is not a big deal.
Greenlee: It so is. He's a gorgeous doctor who saved your life.
Kendall: Ok. All right. You're right. It is a big deal.
J.R.: I don't have a problem with you or your family.
Ryan: Good. Then you'll have no trouble staying away from us. I warned you about Annie, I told you that she could be going off the rails, and what did you do?
J.R.: Not enough. But I am trying to make it right.
Ryan: Ok. Then you won't fight me on this. I know you listed yourself as Annie's contact person. I took you off that list. No visits, no contact, no checking up on her. We leave this to the professionals. Any contact with you is only gonna make things worse. Trust me. I know.
J.R.: All right, if that's what you want.
Ryan: I want that because it's best for Emma.
J.R.: Listen, you know if I could go back, I would. But there is one thing that I would never change. Annie deserved some compassion.
Ryan: Yeah? Emma deserved to be safe. I guess we don't always get what we deserve, huh?
J.R.: Sometimes it's a good thing.
Amanda: I know I've only been working for J.R. for, what, a week, but I really think he's sorry for everything.
Marissa: Yeah, I've heard him say that once or twice.
Amanda: When he talks about you and A.J. -- I mean, the way he talks about you, how he wishes that you guys could spend more time together. And when Annie comes up, regret doesn't even begin to cover it.
Marissa: Yeah, but he's been feeding that line to me, too.
Amanda: See, but that's just it. I don't think it's a line. Go to dinner, talk, let him try and make up for his mistakes. Are you making a bid?
Cara: Whoa! Wait a minute. You got to do it now, because this is your last chance, because I'm about to call the bachelors in 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. We have our winners.
Amanda: Did you make your bid?
Marissa: Oh, yeah. A big one.
Amanda: You won't regret it.
Madison: You honestly don't think you'll get any bids?
Scott: Not the kind that I want.
Madison: Who cares if you just got out of prison? Look at you.
[Phone rings]
Scott: Scott Chandler.
Cara: Scotty C. Hey. It's Cara Castillo calling. Get your best shirt on, because your date's picking you up within the hour.
Scott: Uh, who is she?
Cara: She wants it to be a surprise. Anyway, have fun, and thanks for donating your time.
Scott: Cara, just give me a hint. Give me -- Cara? Ohh. You were right.
Madison: You got a date? Ah! Told you so.
Scott: Did you not hear the part where I said you were right?
Madison: Sorry. Couldn't help myself. So who do you think it is?
Scott: I don't know.
Madison: Oh. Ho-ho!
Scott: What? What? What? What?
Madison: I totally know.
Scott: Who is it? Someone from the hospital?
Madison: Doris, from Billing, the one that you charmed to help me out with my medical bills.
Scott: Wait a minute. You don't think I could do better than Doris?
Madison: A second ago, you thought you weren't gonna get any bids.
Scott: I was fishing for a compliment!
Madison: What's wrong with Doris? I bet she has a major thing for you.
Scott: First of all, she has anger issues -- frightens me a little bit -- and secondly, how major?
Madison: You should probably bring a can of mace.
Scott: Are you kidding me? Now I'm getting a little scared.
Madison: Come on. It'll be fun.
Scott: Yeah, for you, who's gonna be sitting here eating a tasty chicken dish, wrapped up in a blanket all nice and cozy.
Madison: I kind of feel like pasta tonight.
Scott: There's got to be something I can do to get out of this thing.
Madison: No. No. Hey, Doris paid good money for you. You are what she's gonna get.
Scott: Hmm.
Greenlee: Well?
Kendall: I won. Wow.
Greenlee: Hey. What I said before about this being a big deal? I didn't mean that like, "How could you go on a date with someone?" I meant it in a good way. I like Griffin. He seems like a decent guy, and he obviously is very protective of you. He saved your life how many times now?
Kendall: It's kind of in his job description. He is a doctor.
Greenlee: Are you nervous? That's normal.
Kendall: Greenlee, you don't understand what I meant when I said this wasn't a date. Yes, I bid on Griff to get closer to him, but only because I'm digging for information.
Greenlee: What?
Kendall: Something weird is going on with him, something -- and it might even be dangerous. Either way, tonight I'm gonna find out what it is.
Kendall: All right. You have to swear you won't tell anyone about this.
Greenlee: With all the dirt you have on me, I'd be an idiot to say a word.
Kendall: I was hoping more along the lines of, "I'm your best friend, you can trust me"?
Greenlee: That, too.
Kendall: All right. Good. Because I have been dying to talk to somebody about this.
Greenlee: Bianca doesn't know?
Kendall: Not everything. She thinks so highly of Griff, so I didn't want to put this on her. She's got so much to deal with with the divorce and the custody battle.
Greenlee: Wow. This really is serious.
Kendall: Yeah. You know how Reverend Torres works with a lot of the local kids? He found out that someone has been selling them drugs, painkillers, and they traced them back to the hospital -- your hospital.
Greenlee: You don't think Griffin's dealing?
Kendall: I know it sounds completely ridiculous when you say it out loud, but there's something else. And you have to promise, I mean promise, that you're not gonna fire Griff.
Greenlee: Ok. Ok, I promise.
Kendall: Ok. Griffin's been stealing antibiotics from the hospital, and he's been shipping them overseas to clinics who really need them.
Greenlee: But who can't afford them.
Kendall: Yes. Noble and wonderful --
Greenlee: And also illegal. How do you know this?
Kendall: He told me.
Greenlee: Wow. He must really trust you.
Kendall: He was trying to get me to have the surgery, and then I -- it doesn't matter. The point is I feel responsible for it.
Greenlee: Why?
Kendall: Zach's whole reason for selling the casinos was to do something good with the money, like expanding the Miranda Center around the world and working with Griffin. But Griff didn't have the funds, because I never sold the casinos. So I kind of feel like I forced his hand at it, like I drove him to steal.
Greenlee: Ok, first of all, that's not true. And even if it was, what does that have to do with these other drugs on the street?
Kendall: At first, I thought nothing. But then it gets weirder. Ok, listen to this. Griffin went out. He spent the night somewhere. And I asked him where he was going, and he lied to me. But then he came back, and he was completely beaten up. He had bruised ribs -- the works, everything.
Greenlee: Who did that to him?
Kendall: He said some jealous ex-boyfriend. I don't think his story made any sense. Ok, you ready for the worst part?
Greenlee: It gets worse?
Kendall: Yeah. Ricky told me this drug dealer had been beaten up, the same night as Griffin.
Greenlee: Did he know what the guy looked like?
Kendall: They didn't have a ton of details, but the ones they did have were a match. I don't know. I haven't spent that much time with Griffin. I don't really know him that well, mainly because he won't let me. But, Greenlee, what if he's in over his head? What if he's involved with the wrong people?
Greenlee: So you're digging because you want him to be innocent?
Kendall: I don't want this to be true. I mean, he saved my life.
Greenlee: But you don't have feelings for the guy.
Kendall: Have you listened to anything I've said?
Greenlee: Have you?
Kendall: Ok. You know what? This is crazy. I have to go find Griff. I'll do it now.
Greenlee: Kendall? Good luck.
Kendall: Thanks.
Cara: Hi. I'm so glad I ran into you. Your highest bidder is gonna meet you at ConFusion at 7:30.
Ricky: Perfect, because I have a feeling I know who it is.
Cara: Yeah?
Ricky: Mm-hmm.
Cara: Ok. You'll find out for sure tonight.
Ricky: Thanks.
Cara: Mm-hmm.
Ricky: Whoa. Hey. Sorry, Doc. You ok, man?
Griffin: Yeah. I just went a little overboard at the gym.
Ricky: Right.
Griffin: So I saw your picture on the auction board. You got a big date tonight?
Ricky: Yes. And I'm looking forward to it.
Griffin: You might want to hold off on the excitement till you know who it is.
Ricky: I got a pretty good idea. Yeah, I've been keeping a close eye on Kendall. We've been having a lot of fun.
Griffin: Congratulations. So the man upstairs is ok with you doing this?
Ricky: Going to dinner? Yeah, I usually don't ask his permission on this sort of thing.
Griffin: Because exchanging your company for cash doesn't necessarily scream "holy," if you know what I mean.
Ricky: Except for the part that it's for a good cause. Don't worry, Doc. God has my back on this one. Trust me.
Griffin: That's good to know.
Ricky: Have fun tonight, Doc.
Scott: Maybe I should just call in sick.
Madison: Oh, would you stop? Go on. Go out. Have fun.
Scott: Have fun with Doris?
Madison: Stay out all night. I'm exhausted. I'm probably just gonna take a nap.
Scott: I can't believe I'm doing this.
Madison: I tell you what, Doris is in trouble. One smile from you, she's a goner.
Scott: Oh, yeah? Guess what -- no smiles from this guy. Uh-uh.
Madison: Yeah, right. You are not that guy, Scott.
Scott: Oh, yeah? I'm sorry. What guy is that?
Madison: The cold, mean, unavailable guy, makes it obvious that he's not interested.
Scott: Ok. Fine. Then you know what I'm gonna do? Go with plan "B."
Madison: Which is?
Scott: Scare her away with some of my prison stories. Ooh.
Madison: That actually could work.
J.R.: Hey. Did you talk to Marissa? Let me guess -- she'd rather stick needles in her eye than bid on a date with me?
Amanda: I tried. I really did. But there was no talk of needles, if that's any consolation.
J.R.: Don't worry about it. I know how hard it is to push Marissa into something that she doesn't want to do.
Amanda: About that, I actually may have pushed a little too hard.
J.R.: Why? What happened?
Amanda: To get me to back off, she bid on someone else. She won. They're going out tonight.
J.R.: Who is he?
[Knock on door]
Madison: Uh-oh.
Scott: Ok. Ha ha ha ha! It's you!
Marissa: Last time I checked! I hope you're ready for a night out on the town, because I own you, Scott Chandler. Oh. Hey, Madison.
Madison: Oh. Hey.
Scott: You have no idea how ready I am. Bye-bye.
Madison: Have fun.
[Knock on door]
Griffin: It's early. Must be craving pizza.
[Knock on door]
J.R.: Hey. Is Scott home?
Madison: No. He's out.
J.R.: With Marissa. Where are they?
Madison: I don't know.
J.R.: I should've known that this would happen.
Madison: What's the big deal? Scott and Marissa are friends.
J.R.: Really? Is that what he's calling it? So I guess you and Ryan were just friends when he got you pregnant?
Madison: What? The situations are completely different.
J.R.: No, Madison, it's not as different as you think.
Scott: I have to make a toast.
Marissa: Another one?
Scott: Yes, yes. To you. Thank you so much for being on the other side of that door.
Marissa: Ok. So, spill. Who were you expecting?
Scott: Someone not nearly as beautiful as you. Let's just leave it at that.
Marissa: Ok.
Scott: Ok? So you tell me, how did it go down? Hmm? You woke up, and you had a hankering for some hunk of Scotty C or what? You show up at the hospital, you saw my picture, and you melted like butter in hot frying pan.
Marissa: Actually, no. It wasn't any of those things. We actually have Amanda to thank for this date.
Scott: Really?
Marissa: Yeah. She was encouraging me to bid for J.R., so I bid for you just to shut her up.
Scott: Well. Stop with the flattery. It's killing me.
Marissa: Oh, please. Come on. Do you know how expensive you were? You're one popular guy, you know?
Scott: Really?
Marissa: Mm-hmm.
Scott: Let me guess -- Doris, Accounting?
Marissa: Yes, Doris from Accounting -- and two physical therapists, and an EMT, and three nurses, and that resident from Pediatrics.
Scott: Butch? Nice.
Marissa: Yeah. It cost me a fortune to fend off those vultures. Cara told me you came in second.
Scott: Second?
Marissa: Yes!
Scott: Hmm. The competitor in me is a little angry. But if it landed me here, then here's to second.
Marissa: Second place.
Greenlee: Hey, Emma. Where's your dad?
Emma: He was going to call to check on Mommy. I can't wait to see her.
Greenlee: Oh. You know, Emma, it'll probably be a little while till your mom can have visitors. She needs rest so she can get better.
Emma: No.
Greenlee: But I can help you make a get-well card.
Emma: I don't want your help! I want to see my mom!
Greenlee: I know, and I'll do whatever I can to help make that happen. I love you, Emma. We used to be buds, remember?
Emma: No, not anymore. Never, ever again.
Ryan: Hey. What's going on?
Emma: Daddy, get her away from me.
Ricky: You need to go. Now.
Diana: What is your problem? Hmm? What? What? What am I doing now? Hmm?
Ricky: My problem? My problem is that my date's gonna be here any second, and the last thing that I need is you hanging around.
Diana: Right. Of course. Wouldn't want to cramp your romantic style.
Ricky: You know, you're really starting to annoy me. I'm trying to get Kendall to turn on Castillo.
Diana: Oh, all these unnecessary steps, Ricky. All these unnecessary steps.
Ricky: Darling, nothing that I'm doing is unnecessary. I'm trying to keep us out of prison, remember?
Diana: How about the part where you try to get Kendall to fall in love with you? Hmm? When did that become part of the plan?
Kendall: Oh. Ha. I know we're just going to dinner, but I thought I'd at least rate a shirt.
Griffin: I'm gonna take a shower. What are you doing here?
Kendall: What do you mean, what am I doing here? We have reservations!
Griffin: You're my highest bidder?
Kendall: Yeah, "high" being the operative word. Do you have any idea how much money I had to shell out? You were the most expensive bachelor in the whole hospital.
Griffin: We're going to dinner?
Kendall: Yeah, we're going to dinner, at ConFusion. So put on a shirt, something nice, maybe with buttons. I'll let them know we're running late.
[Phone rings]
Cara: Hey! I was wondering when I was gonna hear from you.
Griffin: I thought you said you were going to outbid her.
Cara: Yeah. I don't know what happened. I think she must've upped the ante at the last minute or something. Oh, well, you know, Griff, PVH needs money, and you need --
Griffin: Cara, you are so going to pay for this.
Cara: Have fun!
Kendall: Oh, come on. Really? Still no shirt?
Griffin: I was gonna get your opinion on what color I should wear.
Kendall: I don't care, as long as it's nice and long-sleeves. So does it still hurt?
Griffin: What?
Kendall: That place where that guy beat you up -- a lot of bruises and stuff.
Griffin: No. It's fine.
Kendall: Aren't you worried he might still come after you?
Griffin: No. If he does, I'll handle it.
Kendall: So how are things at the hospital?
Griffin: Fine. Why?
Kendall: Just curious.
Griffin: How about this color? Does this work?
Kendall: It's perfect.
Griffin: Ok.
Madison: Scott and Marissa slept together?
J.R.: I assume he didn't tell you.
Madison: Why are you telling me?
J.R.: I don't know. You are an interested party, are you not?
Madison: Scott's past has nothing to do with me.
J.R.: Assuming it is his past.
Madison: Marissa bid on him. Scott didn't even know till she showed up at the door.
J.R.: Yeah. Let me ask you something. How did he look when he realized it was her? Oh. Yeah. It was that good, huh?
[Microwave beeps]
J.R.: I think your dinner's ready.
Marissa: I thought about kicking this "bachelor" style. I was gonna rent a helicopter and have it land us on top of a mountain, where Josh Groban was gonna be waiting to sing to us. Josh Groban.
Scott: Are you kidding me?
Marissa: I thought about it.
Scott: Ohh. Maybe next time.
Marissa: Maybe.
Scott: Yeah.
Marissa: I hope you're not too disappointed.
Scott: Are you kidding me? Ok, my microwave has been my chef lately. This dinner was amazing.
Marissa: Good.
Scott: Company wasn't so bad either.
Marissa: I had a good time, too. So how are you doing with the whole "living with Madison who's having Ryan's baby" thing?
Scott: It sounds so much more complicated than it really is.
Marissa: Really?
Scott: Yes, really. Really. Speaking of Madison, I should probably get going. She's been so tired. I don't want to get in late, wake her up.
Marissa: You really care about her, don't you?
Scott: It's just we've been through a lot in such a short amount of time.
Marissa: And how does she feel?
Scott: Pregnant, with another guy's baby. I know she's trying hard to get over Ryan, but they're about to share a kid. So they are connected for life.
Emma: Greenlee keeps saying I can't see Mommy.
Ryan: That's because your mommy isn't allowed to see anybody yet.
Emma: Greenlee wants to take Mommy's place, but she can't. Greenlee -- she's not my mommy.
Ryan: We know that, Ems.
Greenlee: I just want us to be close again.
Ryan: Hey, when your mommy is better, and she's allowed to see people, I promise you, I promise I'll take you to go see her. Ok?
Emma: Just you and me?
Greenlee: Just you and your dad.
Ryan: Hey, Ems? But you got to understand that Greenlee and I are married. All right? I love her. I love you. I love her. We're a family.
Emma: No, we're not.
Ricky: She's here.
Diana: Sold, to the widow who doesn't mind a drug-dealing doctor. Bravo, Ricky. Bravo.
Greenlee: How's she doing?
Ryan: She's angry, but I think she really needs just to sit with her feelings for a little while.
Greenlee: She blames me.
Ryan: I don't think she knows what else to do. I think Annie did an unbelievable number on her. I've never seen Emma like this before. But most importantly, we can't let her pit us against each other. Ok?
Greenlee: Welcome to parenthood.
Ryan: I think you're doing great. I think we're both -- we're doing all right.
Greenlee: Really?
Ryan: Yeah.
Greenlee: I don't think Emma would agree.
Ryan: Bottom line is that we love her, and that doesn't mean that we give her everything that she wants, especially if we don't think it's right for her.
Greenlee: Where were you when I was growing up? "You want a pony, Greenlee? Here you go. A trip to the Swiss Alps? Voila." Never mind that they never saw me ride the pony or that my nanny took me skiing.
Ryan: I'm sorry.
Greenlee: Don't be. It only makes me appreciate you more. You love your daughter more than anything in the world, and that's the most incredible gift you could give her. Yes, Emma is hurt right now, and she might be for a little while. But eventually she's going to realize that she has the most incredible, generous, loving dad. And when she realizes that, she's gonna thank you for it.
[Keys jingle]
Scott: Whoops. I hope I didn't wake you. I know what you look like when you're sleeping, and this is not it.
[Madison giggles]
J.R.: Hey. I didn't know you were gonna be here.
Marissa: Sure, you did. Don't worry. Scott already left.
J.R.: Why would I know you were here with Scott?
Marissa: I don't know. Maybe because your spy, Amanda, filled you in? By the way, you should ask her to be a little less obvious next time.
J.R.: I don't know what you're talking about.
Marissa: Save it. I know all of your tricks. This is vintage you.
J.R.: Ok, Amanda did tell me you were on a date with Scott.
Marissa: Good. And what about you? Shouldn't you be on a date, or did no one bid on you?
J.R.: Oh, there were bids.
Marissa: Oh, were there?
J.R.: Yeah.
Marissa: Then what happened?
J.R.: I made up a fake name. I doubled the donation, so I'd get out of the date.
Marissa: Why?
J.R.: So I could come here and see you.
Griffin: So --
Kendall: So --
Griffin: Do you want a bottle of flat water? Would that be better than sparkling?
Kendall: No, no. This is good.
Diana: So much for that seed you planted.
Ricky: What the hell do I have to do to make her turn on this guy?
Kendall: Hi!
Randi: Hey.
Kendall: Griffin, you know the beautiful Randi?
Griffin: Oh, yeah. Frankie's wife. Of course. How are you?
Randi: Hi. Wow. It's so good to see you out like this.
Kendall: Oh. "Like this"?
Randi: Yeah. Out on a date, finally taking the time to have some fun.
Kendall: Oh. No. This is really not -- this is not a date.
Randi: I'm sure it was difficult at first. But if you're gonna take the plunge, why not take it with the hot doctor who saved your life, right?
Kendall: Actually, I was just -- I'm just doing this to donate some money to the hospital.
Randi: Yeah. Sure, you are. You guys have fun, ok?
Griffin: Kendall, if it makes you feel any better, I didn't want to go on this date either. I actually did everything I could to get out of it.
J.R.: I love how you do that now.
Marissa: What?
J.R.: Call me out, never let me get away with anything.
Marissa: If you know that, then why do you keep trying?
J.R.: I'm not going to anymore. And from here on out, I'm a brand-new man.
Marissa: Why does it feel like I've heard that before? Let me think. Oh, I know! Because you say it every two seconds.
J.R.: This time I'm sticking to it.
Marissa: Really? No more lies or manipulations of any kind?
J.R.: I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like I don't want you back, because I do. But I'm not gonna do anything shady to make that happen.
Marissa: I'm gonna hold you to that.
J.R.: I'm counting on it.
Madison: Ok, how did you know I wasn't sleeping?
Scott: Um -- your face was not doing the contorting thing that it usually does.
Madison: What?
Scott: I'm kidding. But you do do this funny breathing thing. You do.
Madison: Show me.
Scott: You want me to demonstrate?
Madison: Mm-hmm.
Scott: It's like, um --
Madison: Yeah. Ok. Whatever. It's not as funny as what you do when you're sleeping.
Scott: Wait a minute. I am the picture of peace.
Madison: Yeah. When you're not yapping up a storm, maybe.
Scott: Whoa! Wait a minute. I do not talk in my sleep.
Madison: Yes, yes, you do -- right before you doze off. Last night you were like, "Peace out, Scotty C. I'll see you on the flip side."
Scott: Wait a minute. Ok, so I not only talk in my sleep, but I sound like a fool while I'm talking to myself in my sleep?
Madison: Yes. Yes.
Scott: I had no idea I did that. No.
Madison: I guess we're both weirdos, huh?
Scott: At least we're weirdos together. So you waited up.
Madison: You came home early.
Scott: I guess this is where I wanted to be.
Ryan: We're gonna get through this. We are. You, me, Emma, and Spike -- one big, happy family.
Greenlee: Maybe we should get a dog.
Ryan: Or a pony. You actually -- you had your own pony?
Greenlee: Yeah. Freckles. He was awesome. He would start galloping in circles every time he saw me coming.
Ryan: He would, huh? Wow. Emma asked for one every Christmas. Maybe she'll get lucky.
Greenlee: She already is.
Ricky: Unbelievable.
Diana: So Kendall's Dr. Castillo's date. Who's yours?
Ricky: I don't know, but she shouldn't see me with you. So please, for the last time, go.
Diana: Aw. Feeling the sting of rejection, are we? All right. All right. Have fun, whoever she is.
Cara: Hey, hey, hey, Rev. Ready for me?
Griffin: You told me you were bidding on me. I asked Cara to get me out of it.
Kendall: Get you out of it?
Griffin: Yeah, at the donation party. See, I gave her a blank check. I told her to outbid your bid, and we'd just chill. We'd have pizza and drink beer at my place, you know.
Kendall: Because that's so much better than hanging out with me.
Griffin: No, no, no, that's not what I mean. You just said this wasn't a date.
Kendall: Because it's not. It's not a date. Or at least it wasn't supposed to be. But now we're here. We're together, and we're all dressed up, and everyone's staring at us like we're some couple. And then there's you.
Griffin: Kendall --
Kendall: No. You don't want to be here, and I can't blame you. God, I'm such an idiot. Who would want to go out with the local grieving head case?
Griffin: Whoa. That's not how I see you.

Griffin: Listen, what I said -- it didn't come out right. I didn't mean --
Kendall: It's ok. Forget it.
Griffin: No, Kendall, wait. Wait! Kendall? Don't go.
