Marissa: Having to see Erica on a daily basis married to Jackson -- just wouldn't want you to be unhappy.

Caleb: Hmm. Problem is, that woman makes me feel so damned alive.

Marissa: Oh, um, you know what? It's getting late, and I better get going.

Erica: Well, there's no need to rush off.

Marissa: Oh, no. Actually, I have to go pick something up for A.J.

Caleb: You don't have to leave.

Marissa: Oh, thanks, but I got to go. Bye.

Erica: Well, Caleb, if there's someplace else that you need to be, please don't let me hold you up.

Caleb: I'm right where I want to be.

Amanda: I know you left the office early, but I was really excited to show you this P.R. idea I had.

J.R.: Let me take a quick look at it. This is the bachelor auction for the hospital. How is this gonna help Chandler's image?

Amanda: First of all, charity -- always good. Second, it is not you writing a check. It is you personally donating your very valuable time, and third, you will definitely create a buzz with the female population. This is something I can work.

J.R.: I bet you can. Sounds interesting.

Amanda: Great. So is it ok if I take off? Jake and I actually had plans before I got the job.

J.R.: Yeah. Sure.

Amanda: Ok. Great. All right. So I will talk to you at the office.

J.R.: Ok.

Cara: Do those casino people have to do even more damage in order for you to back off?

Griffin: I'm not gonna let them do anything to Kendall, whatever it takes, and, no, I don't want you telling her anything, you hear me, not till we have something concrete to tell.

Cara: Well, I'll tell you this. I don't think she's buying what you told her.

Griffin: Are you kidding me? You don't think a jealous ex wouldn't want to punch this handsome face of mine? That's totally believable.

Cara: Really? There you go.

Jake: Hey, whoa, whoa! There you are. I've been looking all over the -- what happened to you? Jealous boyfriend.

Griffin: Something like that.

Kendall: So this guy who was beat up, he was definitely the one who was selling the hospital drugs on the street?

Ricky: Yeah, no question about it.

Kendall: Well, I mean, he was wearing, what, a dark suit with a striped shirt and tie? I mean, it could be anybody. A lot of guys wear suits.

Ricky: Well, I heard that it could be an inside job.

Kendall: Inside the hospital?

Ricky: I don't know, but I do know that I hope they find him before this can do any more damage.

Kendall: Well, I'm sure the cops are on it. They probably already have somebody.

Ricky: I wish I knew what motivates a guy to do something like that. Selling drugs to kids? What is it? Is it the money?

Kendall: Oh, I'm running late. Let's talk later. Bye.

Jake: Well, I hope she was worth it.

Griffin: Looks worse than it is.

Jake: So this bachelor auction. Can I just really talk for a sec? I feel like a pimp, and I never knew pimps had such hard jobs.

Cara: Oh, my gosh, really, gee, you're chief of staff. Do we need to talk about pimps?

Jake: No. I'm at this moment the acting chief of staff, and the part of my job that I like the best is the non-"Dating Game" part of my job.

Cara: Ok. Is it really that hard?

Jake: Oh, it's hard. You know what's hard is finding a bachelor that actually willing to volunteer. I'm out on the street. I'm asking handsome fellas, "Hey, are you seeing anybody?" And the funny thing is, I'm oddly good at it.

Cara: Really?

Jake: Yeah.

Cara: They digging you?

Jake: Well, that's the problem. So the other thing I'm actually good at is delegating assignments, and that's what I'm doing right now.

Cara: Oh, no.

Jake: Oh, yes.

Cara: Oh, no, Jake. No, Jake. I have way to much work to do here. You're not --

Griffin: He has a point. I think you would be better at picking up guys than he would.

Jake: Much better. There you go. Take it easy.

Griffin: Yeah. Go pick up guys.

Cara: Yeah? Ok. I'm gonna pick up a guy right now, brother, starting with you.

Griffin: No, no.

Cara: Oh, yeah. Give me that sexy smile.

Griffin: Cara, I'm in pain.

Cara: Oh, you're in pain. Oh, I like that one.

Griffin: I am not letting a bunch of women bid on me.

Cara: You need to think of the hospital here, ok? Think of the hospital. You could be a really big earner. Oh, that's good. Right there. Oh, that was actually really good.

Griffin: No.

Cara: It's a little anger, a little pouty face going on. No. This is great. No! See what you did to yourself? You're the first one to go up on the wall. You are my first bachelor, and you know what? The truth is, if you don't -- that was cute. That one is gonna go up on the wall, but honestly, if you don't like any of those, you can just use my phone.

Woman on P.A.: Paging Dr. Begaglia. Call extension 198. Dr. Begaglia. Extension 198 for Dr. Begaglia.

Griffin: Ohh --

Erica: I'm sorry I walked in when I did.

Caleb: Really?

Erica: Yes. What you were saying to Marissa, that clearly wasn't meant for my ears.

Caleb: How do you know?

Jack: I think you did. Hey, oh, there you are. Listen. I want you to hear this.

Bianca: Someone signed Uncle Jack up for the hospital's bachelor auction.

Jack: Yes. Someone did, and that someone, your daughter namely, think it's all very amusing, don't you?

Bianca: Well, technically, you're still a bachelor, and it'll be a huge bidding war.

Jack: I imagined they corralled you into this thing, too.

Caleb: Oh, no. I managed to make a clean getaway.

Jack: Well, that's exactly what I think I'm gonna do.

Bianca: Oh, come on, Uncle Jack.

Jack: I'll write them a check. I just don't feature being led up to an auction block like a farm animal.

Erica: Auction block? More like a pedestal. It's where you belong.

Marissa: What do you mean that A.J. isn't here?

J.R.: There was a last-minute play date.

Marissa: But I just called to tell you that I was coming over.

J.R.: Sorry. It was my mistake.

Marissa: You knew that I wanted to give him this part for his new boat.

J.R.: Look. I got caught up looking at this P.R. proposal that Amanda brought over.

Marissa: So caught up that you forgot to tell me that A.J. wasn't here? No. It's all right.

J.R.: I wanted to let you know that I got in touch with the authorities regarding Annie.

Marissa: Ok. Now I'm really gonna go.

J.R.: She's gonna be put away for a long time. It's a good thing.

Marissa: I know you think that that's supposed to be reassuring to me, but I would rather not have those memories dredged up again.

J.R.: If I could make everything disappear, I would, everything that I did.

Marissa: You can't.

J.R.: No. I can't. You see, I think about how selfish I was and how I took our marriage for granted and how much I risked by going for --

Marissa: For Annie.

J.R.: Yeah.

Marissa: Mm-hmm.

J.R.: I've spent a lot of time trying to figure it out.

Marissa: And now you have?

J.R.: No. You have.

Marissa: Me?

J.R.: You said something to me, something that I didn't want to believe. I think you're right. You see, my problem is wanting something that I can't have. Trust me, I still want what I can't have.

Marissa: Let's not do this.

J.R.: Do what?

Marissa: You trying to pull me in and me shooting you down.

J.R.: What I'm trying to do is change. I thought that you'd want that, too.

Marissa: You really think you can change?

J.R.: I want to learn how to be grateful for things that are so special to me instead of just trying to trash it.

Marissa: And by "so special," you mean --

J.R.: Us, our family. Is that such a terrible thing to say? Is it a terrible thing to want?

Marissa: I don't know. You like the idea of family, but when I look back --

J.R.: Look. I remember the bad times, too, but I also remember when it was so good. You have to admit, you remember that, too.

Marissa: Sometimes it was. Um, I'm leaving.

J.R.: Wait, wait. Just stay for a second. Look. Sit down. Let's just talk. I've said what I've had to say.

Marissa: No. No. This is a mistake. I have to go.

Erica: Well, why shouldn't you put yourself up for it? Be good for your ego to see all those ladies mortgaging their homes just to get a crack at you, and then I will swoop in, and I will make a very extravagant bid and show everyone that you are mine and you are mine alone.

Jack: Sweetheart, you don't have to do that.

Erica: Yes. I do, actually. I mean, after this long engagement, the tabloids are all asking, "Will they? Won't they? What's wrong with them?" So what better way to show the world that Jack Montgomery is the only man I want to spend the rest of my life with?

Jack: Well, when you put it like that, how can I refuse?

Caleb: Moo!

Jack: How can I refuse anything from my bride-to-be?

Erica: Oh, I like the sound of that. Ha ha ha! So what's the next step?

Bianca: We just need a photo of Uncle Jack to put on-line for bidding.

Erica: And I have that. I have exactly the photo that's gonna show everybody exactly how handsome you are. Caleb, I'm sorry, but our meeting will have to take place another time, ok? Bye, sweetheart.

Bianca: Going, going, gone?

Cara: Ok.

Jake: You got bachelors?

Cara: You gave me an assignment.

Jake: How many did you get?

Cara: Just one.

Jake: Who'd you get?

Cara: Just warming up. My brother.

Jake: Your brother? That's the best you could do?

Cara: Hey, hey, now.

Jake: So he's doing it ok? He's not got a problem with it?

Cara: He's gonna feel really good once the women start forking over the money for him.

Jake: No. We need more hunks. We need more -- I can't believe I just used the word "hunks."

Cara: I'm afraid you did, Jake.

Jake: I don't like what's happening to me.

Cara: Yeah. Oh, oh, oh, look at that. I can go snag myself another bachelor, hmm? Good? Wish me luck.

Jake: Good luck. Someone took my pen.

Amanda: Are you ready for our big date?

Jake: Ah, right, honey. I got -- I'm swamped here. I'm sorry.

Amanda: You can't leave?

Jake: I can't. I wish I could, but I can't.

Amanda: It's ok. I've been really busy, too.

Jake: Ok, but you're not just saying that, right?

Amanda: No. If you're busy, I can go back to work without feeling guilty.

Jake: But you're sure about that? You're positive because it's good for both of us so you're cool with it?

Amanda: Absolutely. I'll talk to you later.

Jake: Ok.

Cara: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Ok. Hi. Hi. I know this is kind of a strange -- ministers can date, right?

Ricky: Of course, but I --

Cara: Yeah. That's why it just kind of came out kind of weird. I don't mean, like, date date. Ok. Here's the deal. The hospital is doing this bachelor auction fundraiser, and, well -- I don't know -- you've helped a lot of people, and you never know who could bid on you, and, well, you never know who would show their appreciation, so what do you think?

Ricky: Yeah. Yeah. I'll do it. Part of my civic duty, right?

Cara: Yeah. Ok.

Griffin: Hey, Kendall.

Kendall: Hi.

Griffin: I thought you'd gone.

Kendall: Um, I bumped into an old friend. We ended up having coffee, and so --

Griffin: Oh.

Kendall: So you feeling better?

Griffin: Yeah. I'm fine, really.

Kendall: So you don't mind being a human punching bag for jealous exes?

Griffin: Last night is a distant memory. I'm not even worried about it.

Kendall: Are you still stealing drugs from this place?

Griffin: I don't look at it as stealing drugs.

Kendall: Are you taking drugs and shipping them overseas?

Griffin: Yeah. What brought this up?

Kendall: Well, I'm just a little worried. I mean, I know your intentions are good, but you're still stealing drugs.

Griffin: It's antibiotics, and it's for people who desperately need them.

Kendall: Ok. Well, do they need other drugs, too, I mean, other than antibiotics?

Griffin: Listen. I don't think we should be talking about this here.

Kendall: Ok, but what you're doing is absolutely necessary?

Griffin: If I had the money, I wouldn't have to do it this way, but the funds that Zach promised me before he died are still in limbo, not that I'm pushing you to sell the casinos, because I'm not.

Kendall: I know how passionately you feel about helping these people.

Griffin: And now I'm doing it. Whatever. I'm not playing by the rule book, but lives are being saved. Whatever it takes, right?

Kendall: Even if you break the law.

Griffin: I already have, and I told you. I'm not making any more apologies for it.

Kendall: Or any explanations?

Griffin: If you're asking me does the end justify the means, in this case, the answer is yes. Uh! I got to go.

Jack: You know, Erica, not every woman -- may I? -- would be secure enough to auction off their fiancé.

Erica: Well, I know I'm gonna have the highest bid.

Jack: Oh, so you're not worried that some love-hungry, sex-starved billionairess might outbid you?

Erica: And incur the wrath of Erica Kane?

Jack: That's a very good point, but are you so sure there isn't somebody who would even go up against that for a shot at this?

Erica: Oh, you're just lucky it isn't a bachelorette auction, ok?

Jack: Sister, don't I know it. If it were, I'd be selling that yacht to the highest cash bidder.

Caleb: Think your mother was a little over the top today?

Bianca: I thought you would be used to that by now. Hey. Hey, I didn't expect to see you.

Marissa: Well, I was supposed to be with A.J. Thank you.

Caleb: Have a seat.

Bianca: What happened?

Marissa: It's J.R.

Bianca: Oh, please don't tell me he's trying to keep you away from A.J.

Marissa: No. No. It's more complicated than that. He wants me back, and he won't quit trying.

Bianca: Well, he never does. How do you feel about it?

Marissa: I don't know. I mean, I was in love with J.R. I mean, I was in love with him like I've never been in love with anybody before. He made me feel so special. He made me feel like he would do anything in the world -- I can't go back there.

Bianca: Yeah. I know that feeling.

Marissa: Oh, God, I am so sorry. I should not be laying all this on you when you're in the level-orange stage of your own divorce, which reminds me, I got some calls from reporters today.

Bianca: About?

Marissa: You. Turns out that gay marriage isn't the only thing that the press is interested in. Gay divorce now seems to be the new hot topic. They want to interview you as an expert on the subject.

Bianca: Because I'm Erica Kane's daughter.

Marissa: She seems to attract a lot of attention. Ha!

Bianca: Well, why don't you take advantage of it? I will introduce you to all my gay married friends having relationship problems, and you can just clean up.

Marissa: Thanks, but no, thanks. No more relationship problems right now. How about a case that restores my faith in love and trust?

Bianca: Mm, you don't need a case for that. It'll happen.

Marissa: Any idea when that would be?

Bianca: No timeline for either of us.

Marissa: Sooner rather than later would be good, though, huh?

Bianca: I think what we both need is just to wait until the right person comes along.

Marissa: Yeah.

J.R.: I appreciate the offer, but -- oh, so now you're threatening me. I'm gonna have to get back to you, ok? All right. Hey, surprised to see you here. Thought you were on a hot date.

Amanda: Jake and I just got our times confused.

J.R.: So you came back here.

Amanda: Well, I thought I'd see if you were done going over my idea.

J.R.: Well, I would be, but I keep getting interrupted. The phone keeps ringing. I might as well be at the office right now.

Amanda: Yeah. I heard. Who is threatening you today?

J.R.: Well, actually, it's your new sister-in-law Cara. She's trying to recruit me for that bachelor auction. I guess great minds think alike.

Amanda: Well, trust me, I didn't ask her to do me any favors.

J.R.: I believe you, but she did say she wouldn't give up until I gave in.

Amanda: Well, you better watch out.

J.R.: I can handle her. She also did say that she always gets her man when she sets her mind to it.

Diana: You signed up for a bachelor auction?

Ricky: I'm very generous with my time when it comes to charity events.

Diana: Well, I'm worried about you breaking your cover. You're supposed to be a man of the cloth.

Ricky: Which is exactly why I said yes when they asked. Turning them down wouldn't seem very giving, now, would it?

Diana: I don't know. Maybe not. Hey, maybe I'll bid on you.

Ricky: Hmm, not a good idea.

Diana: No, anonymously. It could be fun. If I win, I get you to do whatever I want, right?

Ricky: I got a better idea. I'm letting Kendall know that I am available.

Diana: Wait. You seriously want Kendall to bid on you for a date?

Ricky: Hey, why not? It's a perfect opportunity to keep dropping hints about Castillo dealing drugs on the streets, getting her to lose all faith in Griff.

Diana: And, what, gain faith in her sweet, loving minister?

Ricky: At some point, I have to move this past this minister-parishioner relationship. Who knows? This date could actually lead somewhere.

Diana: Tell me you're not serious.

Ricky: This job is not gonna last forever. I have to start thinking about what's next for me.

Diana: And what's that, a relationship with the woman whose husband you murdered?

Ricky: I guess there are easier ways to get girls, huh?

Diana: Ok. It's really not something to joke about, Ricky.

Ricky: Or get jealous about, either. We had fun, but we never made any promises to each other. That's not what we're about.

Diana: What are you and Kendall about?

Ricky: The future. Sorry. It's the truth.

Jake: How did you get all these people?

Cara: Hey! I got to tell you, I'm into this whole thing. Can you tell? What do you think? Oh, Jackson is on board, and J.R. -- almost a sure thing.

Jake: Yeah?

Cara: Yep.

Jake: Ay, and you got them -- how did you do it, exactly?

Cara: I'll never tell.

Jake: I want this over with, ok? I'm really looking forward to this all being done, all right?

Cara: Tomorrow night, it's over, ok? The bidding is gonna be finalized. All the happy couples will be out on their dates.

Jake: Good.

Cara: Yeah. All right. Da da da

Kendall: Well, well, hello. I didn't know we had this many bachelors here.

Cara: Yep.

Kendall: You even roped Griffin in.

Cara: I did. I can twist my brother around my finger sometimes.

Kendall: Yeah. I bet. Must be so nice to be so close with somebody you can share everything with.

Cara: Almost everything. He's not always 100% open.

Kendall: Hmm. So you think maybe he has some secrets?

Cara: Don't we all?

Kendall: Yeah. Has your brother always been this closed off? Why do you think he's like that?

Cara: I think it's just the nature of being out in the field. You see things. It changes you.

[Beep beep]

Kendall: Has he ever gone too far?

Cara: Oh, yeah. I got to -- it's a patient.

Kendall: Go, go, go. Go. Go. Bye. Is it possible? I need to know.

Griffin: Don't tell me you're gonna make a bid.

Kendall: Oh, yeah. You don't think you can have your handsome face up there and have nobody bid on you.

Griffin: You're bidding on me?

Kendall: Oh, I'm not just bidding. I intend to win.

Cara: Hi.

Jake: Hey, look at me. I'm doing medical work instead of trying to hook up bachelors.

Cara: Yeah.

Jake: Don't.

Cara: Ok. It's just in my hand. Should I cover for you?

Jake: No. I'm all right. Thank you. Appreciate it.

Cara: You sure?

Jake: Mm-hmm.

Cara: Hmm. Ok. Because I saw Amanda here earlier, and I just kind of assumed you two were headed off somewhere, so --

Jake: Well, we were going to, but I got caught up with everything, you know?

Cara: You forgot?

Jake: Maybe. Kind of. Yeah. I did, but Amanda was busy, too, so it was fine.

Cara: Ok.

Jake: Yeah. You're not buying that? No?

Cara: Uh-uh.

Jake: But we have that kind of relationship, you know, sort of a give-and-take thing, the two of us, and she was cool with it. She said she was fine, so --

Cara: Ok.

J.R.: You seemed to really tighten up with I mentioned Kara, Cara, whatever her name is.

Amanda: It's Cara. We just have a different way of getting what we want.

J.R.: Well, you're married to her ex, so I guess you won.

Amanda: It's not a contest. Jake and Cara were married a long time ago, and this bachelor auction would be a great idea for you. I mean, it really makes a lot of sense P.R.-wise.

J.R.: Well, I guess if Marissa wound up marrying some other guy, I'd have a hard time with him.

Amanda: I'm here to work, not talk about my personal life, so, again, Chandler could really get some good mileage out of this auction. I could write up the press release.

J.R.: I'm not so interested in what the auction could do for my company as what it could do for me personally.

Amanda: How do you mean?

J.R.: I could use your help with a little project. You interested, hmm?

Bianca: I don't like to see you giving up hope.

Marissa: Well, it would be a lot easier if I could just move on from J.R.

Bianca: Well, are you sure you want to?

Marissa: Yes. Yeah. After everything that he's done to me?

Bianca: Well, I'm not saying you shouldn't move on. Believe me, I'm not saying that. I have had my own share of issues with J.R.

Marissa: Don't you wish there was, like, a switch? "I'm in love with you." "Now I'm not."

Bianca: I would be flipping that switch right now.

Marissa: I'm trying. I really am.

Bianca: Here's the good news. You are building your own great legal practice. You have A.J.

Marissa: Yes.

Bianca: You have a great life, with or without J.R. or anybody else --

Marissa: I do.

Bianca: And when the right man comes along --

Marissa: If he comes along.

Bianca: When he comes along, he'll treat you right. He won't manipulate you or lie to you. He'll treat you the way you deserve to be treated.

Marissa: Hey, back so soon?

Caleb: No. Just came back for my phone. I'm gonna head over to the hospital.

Marissa: Oh, God, anything serious?

Caleb: No, no. We're discussing that neonatal unit dedicated to Asher's mom.

Marissa: You did that?

Caleb: It's no big deal. See you.

Bianca: That's a pretty big deal. You know what? You know Caleb.

Marissa: I do. I should get going, too, and I'll try to keep the hope alive, but you might have to be doing that for me, for both of us.

Bianca: I will do my best.

Marissa: Bye.

Bianca: Bye.

Kendall: Why, Dr. Griffin Castillo, I believe this is the first time I have ever seen you speechless.

Griffin: Not speechless, just a little surprised. That's all.

Kendall: Well, it's an auction. Someone is going to make a bid on you.

Griffin: Yeah. I just didn't think it would be you bidding on me.

Kendall: Well, who, the girl whose ex beat you up?

Griffin: My sister put you up to this, didn't she?

Kendall: She didn't have to. This place means a lot to me.

Griffin: So make a donation.

Kendall: Better idea -- why don't you stop complaining and just get on with this already and accept that I'm thanking you.

Griffin: I'm sorry. It's just --

Kendall: What, what, you can handle somebody thanking you?

Griffin: Is that what this bid is all about?

Kendall: Well, also it would be nice to spend an evening together, right -- I mean, what's wrong with that? Other than me being in the hospital. Plus, I got to get out of my house, get away from my kids, and go back to being an adult again. You know, it could be an interesting night.

Griffin: Interesting? In what way?

Kendall: I will tell you on our date. Mm-hmm.

Griffin: It's not really --

Kendall: Wish me luck.

Woman on P.A.: Dr. Max, extension 456. Dr. Max, extension 456. Dr. Max, extension 456.

Caleb: I see you didn't waste any time in getting your boyfriend's picture up there.

Erica: My fiancé, and I'm not gonna waste any time putting my bid in for him, either.

Caleb: You already made your point.

Erica: Is that why you tracked me down here?

Caleb: It's not always all about you, Dorothy. I'm here about the neonatal unit.

Erica: Oh. Well, good, because those things that you were saying about me to Marissa, you know, when I walked in this afternoon, I wouldn't want there to be any misunderstandings between us.

Caleb: No. We're clear.

Erica: Well, that's a relief.

Caleb: I meant every word I said.

J.R.: Initially, I didn't want to be a part of the auction.

Amanda: Why?

J.R.: Because there was one person I wanted to bid on me, and I knew she wouldn't.

Amanda: Marissa.

J.R.: A.J. needs his mother, and I want my family back, and for a long time, I thought that was impossible.

Amanda: But now?

J.R.: Well, she's fighting me every step of the way. I don't blame her.

Amanda: So this project --

J.R.: The auction. Sign me up.

Amanda: Ok. Well, that's the easy part. What's the rest?

J.R.: I know that Marissa won't bid on me.

Amanda: So you want me to?

J.R.: No. I want you to talk Marissa into it.

[Kendall plays a melody on the piano]

Bianca: I wish you'd heard Mom go on and on about Uncle Jack, how he's the most handsome bachelor in the auction and how she's gonna outbid everybody for him.

Kendall: Oh, I love that. Well, actually, I put in a bid myself.

Bianca: You did? For who?

Kendall: Dr. Castillo.

Bianca: Is there something going on between you and Griffin?

Kendall: No. No. Of course not.

Bianca: Ok. Then what's with the date?

Kendall: I guess you could call it more of a fact-finding mission.

Griffin: There you go. Thank you.

Cara: Wait a second. What is wrong with going out one date with Kendall?

Griffin: She's a widow. She has two kids.

Cara: It doesn't have to be the Griffin Castillo bachelor experience date.

Griffin: All right, Cara. The point is that I'm starting to feel responsible.

Cara: For her?

Griffin: No. For her husband's death.

Cara: Oh, my God, no. That's ridiculous.

Griffin: Cara, listen. I'm the one who convinced Zach to fund the Miranda Center expansion. I gave him a major guilt trip about his casinos, about using these empty temples for cash when he could put that money to much better use.

Cara: Right, building clinics, saving lives. Those are goods things, Griff.

Griffin: Right, except I'm the one who pushed him to sell his casino interests to raise the capital, and that was probably the beginning of the end for him. When his casino partners found out about that, they threatened his life and are probably responsible for ending it.

Cara: Ok, ok. They are responsible, not you.

Griffin: I had to watch Kendall grieve, become a widow, and now she wants to go on a date with me? No way. It's way weird, and that's crossing the line. Here you go.

Cara: I don't want to get you out of this bachelor auction.

Griffin: No. You're gonna use this. You're gonna bid on me, and you're gonna make sure it's more than she's bidding.

Cara: Why do you want to --

Griffin: Cara, please. Would you do this for me?

Caleb: I never thought I'd enjoy spending time with you.

Erica: Oh, that's very flattering.

Caleb: Didn't mean to flatter you.

Erica: I also know that you've been through a lot, especially with your son.

Caleb: It's not about him.

Erica: I think it is. I think you are so full of all this emotion that he's not ready to deal with that you have now confused all these feelings with me.

Caleb: Hmm. Is that what you think?

Erica: I think it's really crazy that we're having this conversation in the middle of the hospital. I mean, on the other hand, we have to have a conversation. I think we have a lot to discuss, and I think unless we do, we're gonna continue to have these very uncomfortable moments.

Caleb: I don't feel uncomfortable. Do you?

Erica: Look. Why don't we meet tomorrow night at my house?

Caleb: Oh? Just the two of us?

Erica: I think it's important that we talk, especially in a private place. We need to get all our cards out on the table.

Caleb: Mm-hmm. See you tomorrow night.

Erica: Jack, hi. It's me, obviously. Listen. You remember we have that auction date tomorrow night? Could we just push that back just a couple of hours, ok? Something has come up.

J.R.: So I can count on you?

[Doorbell rings]

Amanda: I will think about it. Oh, I'll get it.

Jake: Hey, I called your office, and they said that you were at J.R.'s house working. So I didn't--

Amanda: Is everything ok?

Jake: Yeah. It's good. You just didn't tell me that you were working here. That's all. I pulled some strings to get the rest of the night off. It must be fantastic to be able to work out of your own house.

J.R.: Well, I suppose it would be kind of messy in your line of work.

Jake: Yeah. Well, yeah. It would. I just kind of felt like you were disappointed earlier, and I really wanted to make it up to you, even if it's--

Amanda: No. It's ok.

Jake: So, I mean, can I steal her from you? Would that be --

J.R.: We're kind of in the middle of something.

Jake: Oh.

Amanda: Oh, you don't need to worry. I have heard enough to get the ball rolling on your project.

J.R.: I can count on you?

Amanda: Yes. I think you will be very pleased with the results. We can go.

Jake: We can go. Thank you.

Griffin: Uh! [Performs a search for "Diana Holden, Seasons Casino" on his laptop]

Cara: All right, Griff. Against my better judgment -- wait a second. You need a little push, and a date with Kendall, that's what you need.

Bianca: I don't understand. It sounds like you're suspicious of Griff.

Kendall: I am.

Bianca: But I thought you trusted him.

Kendall: Oh, Binks, I do. I do. I mean, I owe him so much for saving my life.

Bianca: Yeah. Ok. So then what's going on?

Kendall: Griffin, he's a very passionate man. He decides what needs to be done, and he does it.

Bianca: And you think that's a bad thing?

Kendall: Well, it could be if he is willing to do anything to get what he wants, and that's what I need to find out. I need to find out just how far he'll go.

Bianca: To do what?

Kendall: I can't tell you any more than that.

Bianca: I don't like the way that sounds.

Kendall: Oh, don't worry. Tomorrow night's date will tell all.
