[While Kendall lies napping on the couch, she dreams that she's looking out her front door at a bright light, in which she basks, then the doorbell rings, and she wakes up]
Jack: Hey.
Erica: Hi. We know you're not in the mood to celebrate, but we will not let you turn us away.
Kendall: I am so glad you're here.
J.R.: Got to get going soon.
Annie: To meet Marissa and A.J.?
J.R.: You know I wouldn't leave if I didn't have to.
Annie: But first, I want to give you your special present.
J.R.: Special present?
Annie: Mm-hmm. Ta-da!
J.R.: Well, those are definitely going to get put to good use later.
Annie: Mm-hmm. I was thinking more like --
[Handcuffs close shut]
Annie: Now. Merry Christmas, J.R. You're staying with me.
Marissa: It is really starting to feel like Christmas around here.
Tad: It is.
Krystal: Yeah, well, I couldn't have pulled it together without the help of all my little elves.
Marissa: Oh, well --
Tad: Oh. I wondered why Ma was dressed that way.
Opal: Oh, I heard that, Tad Martin.
Krystal: So, Marissa, are you going over to J.R.'s?
Tad: Hey! Look at this!
Jake: Yay.
Tad: The gang is all here!
Opal: Hey!
Amanda: Well, I hope you don't mind. I invited two non-gang members -- Cara and Griffin.
Cara: Hi.
Griffin: I thought you were going off duty half an hour ago.
Cara: Well, Santa's sleigh could have a 3-reindeer pileup, so -- I thought I'd let the doctors with families go home.
Griffin: Right. Has nothing to do with the Martin party? Avoiding Jake at all costs.
Cara: Yeah, for the millionth time, I'm over Jake.
Griffin: Good to know. You don't want a front row seat to his new life.
Frankie: Well, we knew you were working hard, so we wanted to say hi.
Jesse: Hey. Yeah, I gave the rest of the force off -- or most of them, anyway, so I got to take up the slack. Sorry I'm not going to be able to celebrate with you.
Angie: I think that's your cue.
Natalia: Merry Christmas! Dashing through the snow ha ha ha.
Frankie: Yes.
Natalia: Yeah.
Jesse: You didn't.
Angie: Yes, I did.
Jesse: You didn't have --
Angie: You can't come home for Christmas Eve, we'll bring Christmas Eve to you.
Emma: Daddy!
Ryan: Hey! T.J.'s already looked at you. You look great. Ay, ay, ay!
Emma: The sooner we go to bed, the sooner we open presents.
Ryan: I honestly can't really argue with that logic. Can you? Oh, ok. Ok, ok.
Madison: Merry Christmas, Ryan. She's got your eyes, don't you think?
Ryan: That means you guys should get upstairs and get ready. I will be up very soon to read "'Twas The Night Before Christmas," like always. I'll be up there soon, ok?
Emma: Ok.
Kendall: So I had this dream. Everything was dark. The room, my life. And then I opened the door and this light came in. This warm, bright, happy light. And it was so real, I actually woke up feeling hopeful.
Erica: Well, that's wonderful, sweetheart.
Jack: Yeah, that's so wonderful, are you kidding?
Kendall: Ok. All right, will the two of you stop looking at each other like I'm completely going crazy? This -- this is a good thing. Be happy for me. Be hopeful with me. What did you guys do, hijack the North Pole? My God.
Jack: Yeah. At icicle point.
Kendall: Oh. Ok.
Erica: Honey, so does this mean you're ready to celebrate Christmas?
Kendall: Yeah. I think I am. I don't have a tree. I need a tree.
Jack: Oh! Oh, we saw a Christmas tree lot on the way over, right?
Erica: We did.
Jack: They're open till 9:00, they said.
Kendall: Really?
Jack: Yes.
Kendall: Oh.
Erica: Well, that's great. And I'll call Bianca, get her to come over and bring the girls and help. Ok.
Annie: I am not letting you run off on me again.
J.R.: I'm only doing this for A.J., so I don't lose him -- so I don't lose anybody.
Annie: And what about me?
J.R.: I'll tell you what. I'll trade you. Now, if that doesn't say I want to be with you, I don't know what does.
Tad: You're copacetic with hanging out Christmas Eve with your ball and chain and your ex-ball and chain?
Jake: I think it's going to be fine. What's the big deal? Honestly, it is fine. I already worked with Cara one day at the hospital. It's all right. You don't think so?
Tad: I just don't understand why Amanda would think this was ok.
Amanda: Yeah, the man who we actually all thought was her boyfriend, but is actually her brother. And as bad as I hate to say it, actually, she seems sort of ok.
Opal: Who's ok?
Amanda: Cara. I invited her and her brother here for dinner tonight.
Opal: What in the name of Santa did you do that for?
Cara: I don't know how else to say this -- I'm not avoiding Jake. Ok? Did it hurt when I saw him so happy? Absolutely. But I'm over it. And you know what? I'm actually glad that he didn't take the job that I offered him, because I would be jealous as hell if he were out there while I was stuck here.
Griffin: At least you're safe here.
Cara: Oh -- here we go.
Griffin: I'm just saying, there's nothing wrong with a nice, quiet life.
Cara: You know what? That would be your worst nightmare. I just want my life back, and that life doesn't include Jake.
Griffin: That's -- that's good to know.
Cara: Oh, my God. Seriously, wow. Ok, fine. You know what? I will go to this stupid party. I will spend Christmas with my ex and his family just to prove to you and everyone else that I couldn't care less about him.
Griffin: That's the spirit.
Cara: Ok. And bah humbug.
Griffin: Vamos.
Cara: Adios. Feliz Navidad!
Greenlee: You're a good father.
Ryan: They make it pretty easy.
Greenlee: Mm-hmm.
Ryan: Hey. Are you tired?
Greenlee: Mm-hmm.
Ryan: And that's all it is, right? Nothing else?
Greenlee: Is this still about me being quiet? I mean, you weren't exactly chatty on the ride home. You still worried about Madison?
Ryan: Honestly, I don't think I'm the one that's worried here.
Madison: I thought morning sickness was supposed to be over by now.
Frankie: Well, you know, it's different for everyone. It could even last till you have the baby.
Randi: You still have decisions to make.
Frankie: Oh. Sorry, I didn't mean to, you know, assume --
Madison: No, I do need to decide what I'm going to do, and soon.
Angie: [Taps her glass] Can I have everyone's attention? I'm just going to assume that you're all looking at me.
Jesse: Everybody's looking at you.
Angie: I just want to say how grateful I am for all the blessings in my life. That includes the people in this room, this little person in my belly, and all of our loved ones near and far. This has been quite a year for the Hubbard family, but we're here, we're together, and that's all that matters.
Frankie: Hmm.
Angie: Cheers.
All: Cheers.
Jesse: My turn. Ahem. To my beautiful, graceful, courageous wife.
Angie: Huh. Hmm, not so graceful anymore.
Jesse: Stop it. I like every growing inch of you. You are the glue, the strength, the heart and soul of this family. I -- I don't know what we would do without you.
Randi: Well, as the newest member of this family, I just want to say that you guys are the best.
Jesse: I know.
[Laughter]
Randi: Especially you.
Angie: Um, anyone else? Madison, um, do you want to say something? Anything you're thankful for.
J.R.: Wow. It's almost as stunning as you.
Annie: Well, I have something for you, too, but I want to wait to give it to you till tomorrow. I am going to see you tomorrow, right?
J.R.: Yeah, I'm going to make time for you tomorrow.
Annie: How much time?
[Cell phone rings]
J.R.: Uh -- hey, Marissa.
Marissa: Hey. I'm at Krystal's. I just wanted to let you know that we'll be heading over soon.
J.R.: Great. Well, I'll -- I'll see you soon then. We've waited this long to be together. Just a little longer. Ok?
Annie: Ok.
Amanda: I guess Cara and Griffin aren't coming.
Jake: I think it's probably a good thing, honey, because if they were here, you'd be fawning all over them, worried about, you know, are they having a good time, and now there's more of you for me.
Damon: You guys ready for my big news?
Colby: Yes. Come on, tell us already. Come on.
Damon: I'm going to apply to college. Pre-law.
Tad: [Laughs] You're serious?
Damon: Yeah. I'm serious.
Tad: You're serious?
Damon: Yeah.
Tad: That's great. That's terrific.
Damon: Thank you.
Tad: I thought you were pulling my leg. That makes it official. It's the best Christmas, ever.
Opal: Tad -- Tad, come here. You've got to see what A.J. made. Come here!
Tad: Duty calls. Listen, I'm proud of you.
Damon: Thanks.
Tad: I'm crazy proud.
Damon: Well?
Colby: Well, I don't really know what to say.
Damon: Um, "congrats" is fine, or "Way to make something out of your life"?
Colby: Yeah, I -- but it doesn't really seem like it's your life. It seems like it's my mom's life. You know, it just seems like you're a clone of my mom or something.
Damon: I made this decision, ok? Not Liza, me. Look, think about it this way. If I get into P.V.U., we'll get to spend so much more time together.
Colby: You know, it's been a long day and -- well, you know, I think I'm going to go home.
Damon: Ok. I'll take you.
Colby: No, no, no. Stay with Tad. I mean, he obviously misses you.
Damon: Ok. We're ok, right?
Colby: Yeah. We're ok. See you later.
Amanda: Come on, come on. You have to give me an eensy-teensy hint of my gift.
Jake: I do?
Amanda: Please?
Jake: All right. Well, it's excellent. And it's cute. It's, uh, fashionably -- well, let's just say there's a little bedside manner.
Amanda: You're giving me you for Christmas?
Jake: Among other things, but that's a yes and a no kind of answer.
Amanda: What?
Jake: It's bo -- it's not -- you're going to love it. Do you believe me when I -- when I tell you that you're going to love it?
Amanda: I'm really glad that you guys made it.
Cara: Oh. Wow. We've been looking forward to this all day.
Kendall: Merry Christmas Eve. Hi!
Erica: Now it's a celebration. Hi, sweetie. Hello, precious girl. Hi.
Bianca: I have one party pooper here. It is way past her bedtime.
Erica: Oh, well --
Bianca: Yes. It is.
Erica: No? Come on, I'll take her. I will take her. Miranda, you want to come help? Oh, look at -- you two girls look so beautiful.
Kendall: Mm-hmm.
Erica: And I'm going to tell you a story. I'm going to tell you a story. Did you know that I used to have my own dance club? Maybe we can dance a little bit before bedtime, too, ok?
Kendall: Dancing, huh? Have fun.
Erica: And it was called "Erica's."
Bianca: You seem -- you seem good.
Kendall: Well, it's -- it's still day by day. But I had this dream, Binx. It was amazing. There were all these bright lights and these beautiful colors, and when I woke up, I just -- I felt alive again. Something about this night -- it's such a magical night.
Bianca: Yeah, Christmas Eve. I was pregnant with Miranda. I didn't know what to do, where to go. I ended up in that chapel where I met Father Clarence.
Kendall: Mm-hmm.
Bianca: He gave me hope.
Kendall: He has a way of doing that, doesn't he?
Bianca: Appearing out of nowhere like some miracle. Hmm.
Kendall: Of all the nights for a miracle, Christmas Eve would be it.
Madison: I'm so sorry. I just -- I mean, thank you for including me in tonight, but I actually have another party that I'm supposed to go to and I spaced on the time, so -- anyway, Merry Christmas.
Randi: What? Where are you going?
Frankie: Wait. Madison? Uh, sorry my mom put you on the spot like that.
Madison: It's ok.
Frankie: Yeah. So this par-tay -- where is it?
Madison: Kendall's. I thought I would stop by.
Frankie: Well, you need me to drive you? It's supposed to snow again today.
Madison: No. The snow will be perfect, actually. It'll give me a chance to clear my head. I'll be fine.
Frankie: You sure?
Madison: Yes. Go back to your family. Enjoy the party.
Greenlee: I'm not trying to make a big deal out of Madison.
Ryan: I mean, she has a been a big deal, you know, for us, so -- so thank you.
Greenlee: For what?
Ryan: For being so understanding.
Greenlee: Ryan, stop. Don't make me out to be a saint. You know how I am. I want what I want when I want it, and that's not going to change.
Ryan: Ok, where did that come from?
Greenlee: I want you. Ryan, I want you all to myself.
Ryan: You have me all to yourself. What -- what's going on?
Krystal: No, you didn't have to do that.
Griffin: Sure we did.
Cara: Well, it's kind of selfish on our part, actually.
Tad: Really? My world no longer makes sense.
Amanda: Hmm.
Cara: We actually got some stuff that reminds us of Christmas back home, so --
Griffin: This --
Cara: Yeah.
Griffin: Tequila is from Jalisco. It's very strong, so take your time.
Jake: That's the way we like it.
Cara: And -- hmm? Shall I? And quien quiere comer tamales? Because I make the best. Go ahead, tell them.
Griffin: She makes the best tamales.
J.R.: Hey, buddy.
A.J.: Can I open one?
J.R.: Yeah. Go for it. Here, open this one.
Colby: Hey, Marissa? I didn't expect to see you here.
Marissa: Well, J.R. invited me.
Colby: Oh. Ok. Well, we should have Christmas more often then, shouldn't we?
A.J.: Yes!
Colby: Oh! What did you get?
Colby: [Gasps] So cool. Do you want me to help you set it up?
A.J.: Yeah.
Colby: Yeah? All right.
J.R.: You know, I got something for you, too.
Marissa: You got me a real gift?
J.R.: Is that a little weird?
Marissa: No, it's just -- well, I actually got you something, too. Open mine first.
J.R.: It's a petition for custody. What is this, a joke?
Marissa: Keep reading.
J.R.: You're petitioning for joint custody. Not primary?
Marissa: Merry Christmas. Should I put these under the tree?
Erica: Whose are these?
Bianca: Uh, they -- they're Zach's. I found them in the closet.
Kendall: Yeah, you know what? Put them right in front. That'd be great.
Jack: And now for the piece de resistance. Did I say that right?
Miranda: Oui.
Jack: "Oui"? Oui. Whee! Here you go, sister. Get her on there.
Erica: Oh! It's beautiful.
[Applause]
Jack: Well done.
Erica: Just stunning.
Jack: There we go.
Miranda: Wish time.
Bianca: Oh. Reese started this tradition. When the angel gets on the tree, we all get to make a wish.
Kendall: Sounds like a plan to me.
Bianca: So now close your eyes.
Jack: Hmm.
Kendall's voice: Whoever's listening up there, I have lost the love of my life. And I can't seem to find my way without him. Please, for me, for my boys -- please help me find my way again.
Ryan: Cheers.
[Glasses clink]
Ryan: So, when we were talking about Madison earlier --
[Doorbell rings]
Greenlee: I'll get it. Hi. Welcome. Come in.
Annie: Really?
Ryan: Hey, Annie.
Annie: Hey. Um -- I know I wasn't supposed to come till tomorrow morning, but it's Christmas Eve and I -- did I interrupt something?
Greenlee: No. No, we're good.
Emma: Mommy!
Annie: Hi!
Emma: I knew it was you.
Annie: Oh, did you?
Ryan: What do you mean, you knew it was her? I thought you were supposed to be asleep.
Emma: I was listening for Santa.
Ryan: Of course, you were.
Greenlee: I have to go.
Ryan: What? Now?
Greenlee: Yeah. You know, I just remembered there's a few last-minute things that I need to pick up. You know, last-minute shopping. I'll be right back.
Krystal: So you make it right here, huh?
Griffin: Well, our entire extended family used to get together, and we all used to pitch in and make tamales on Christmas Eve.
Amanda: Well, I think it's a great idea. What can I do to help?
Griffin: Ok, well, you can help Cara set up. Yeah?
Amanda: Yeah.
Griffin: And I'm going to need to know if you 5 ladies can help me tackle the dough.
Kathy: Yeah!
Griffin: Yeah?
Krystal: Yeah.
Griffin: That's what I like to hear. Ok, I'm going to need 5 cups of warm water from you, stat.
Opal: 5 cups -- ok, Doc. Coming up.
Griffin: Thank you, thank you. Can you get me two cups of shortening?
Krystal: Ok.
Griffin: And from you two beautiful young ladies, I'm going to need cumin, chili powder, onion powder, and salt. You got that? Yeah?
Krystal: Go. [Laughs] Look out, look out.
Tad: You know, this just gets better and better. After all, what are the holidays without gas? Isn't this like the strangest Christmas, ever?
Jake: Yeah, it's pretty strange.
Erica: So have you spoken to Reese?
Bianca: Of course, I have.
Erica: Well, is she coming?
Bianca: She had a big problem with the project she's working on.
Erica: But it's Christmas. And she wasn't here for Thanksgiving.
Bianca: I know that, Mom. Just please drop it, ok? What is it? Huh.
Erica: Oh, look at that.
Kendall: Well, it looks like someone wanted to join the party.
Erica: Oh!
[Laughter]
Miranda: Ian, come open a present.
[Jack gasps]
Kendall: Let's open the presents.
Bianca: Sorry.
Kendall: That's ok, that's ok. Listen. Hey, sweet boy, you know what? Do you want to open a present? Yeah?
Ian: Yes.
Kendall: Yes? Ok. Well, ok. You know what I think? I think -- well, this one is for you. This one's very special. It's from Daddy.
J.R.: So, Marissa -- you're really ok with this? You're -- you're ok with sharing custody of A.J.?
Marissa: It's been a rough 6 months, but lately, I feel like we're coming out on the other side. Bottom line is, we both love A.J., and after everything that he's been through, he deserves all the love he can get.
J.R.: Absolutely.
Marissa: And A.J. brings out the best in us.
J.R.: Well, I've had to work -- I've had to work a lot harder with him -- because I made a huge mistake, Marissa. I'm sorry. It's your turn. Huh. Here.
Marissa: Thank you. Oh. [Gasps] Oh. This looks just like the ornament that I helped A.J. make last year. I can't believe you thought of this.
J.R.: May I?
Marissa: Please. Here. It's -- it's beautiful, J.R.
J.R.: So are you. To us. Um, to our family. Here's to a fresh start.
[Glasses clink]
J.R.: You know, Lucretia made a bunch of food. Are you sure you don't want to stay for dinner?
Marissa: I can't. I'm meeting a friend.
J.R.: Really? Anyone I know?
Marissa: J.R., we talked about this.
J.R.: Right. I'm not allowed to ask.
Marissa: I thank you so much for my gift.
J.R.: Marissa -- Merry Christmas.
Jesse: All right, guys, we got to make a move.
Randi: Merry Christmas.
Jesse: Love you.
Randi: Love you, too.
Frankie: All right, man. Merry Christmas.
Jesse: Merry Christmas. All right, man.
Frankie: All right. Ready, baby?
Angie: Bye.
Brot: All right, we should get going, too. We got to log in that info for the Cahill case.
Natalia: Oh. Totally forgot. Duh. Dad, Merry Christmas.
Jesse: Ha ha. All right.
Natalia: I love you.
Brot: Thank you, guys, for everything.
Jesse: Merry Christmas.
Brot: Merry Christmas. Thank you.
Angie: Mm-hmm. You know what I'd like for Christmas? You two to come clean.
Natalia: What do you mean?
Angie: "What do I mean?" Uh-huh. You know what? I might not be able to see anymore, but I do hear things. Like how your voice comes alive whenever Brot's around. And the same goes for you, Officer Monroe. You two are obviously together now.
Jesse: She ain't saying nothing I don't already know. I'm just waiting for you two numb nuts to admit it.
Natalia: But you said that --
Jesse: I know -- I know what I said. I'm not going to transfer either one of you. You just won't be able to work on the same cases anymore. So -- ?
Natalia: So, yeah -- yeah, I guess -- we're together. I mean, not every day or anything, but --
[Angie and Jesse laugh]
Natalia: Yes, we're --
Jesse: Yeah, there's commitment for you.
Natalia: Dating. We're dating. All right. Bye, Dad. Merry Christmas.
Angie: Bye.
Jesse: Merry Christmas!
Kendall: Ian started having these nightmares about two months ago. He slept in our bed almost every night. So Zach told him there was a magical tiger watching over him, and that it would protect him from the monsters. Well, Daddy's tiger's going to protect you from now on, ok?
Ian: Ok.
Kendall: Ok. Yeah.
[Loud knocking on door]
Erica: I'll get it.
Jack: Yeah?
Emma: Merry Christmas.
Erica: Merry Christmas! Hi!
Kendall: Hi!
Ryan: Hi, hi, hi.
Kendall: Get over here now. Ok, give me, give me, give me.
Ryan: Hi. Merry Christmas. He missed you. He missed you and -- and Zach.
Kendall: You know what? I miss Daddy Zach, too. We do. But he got you a Christmas present. You want to open it? Yeah? Ok. I think it is actually -- yup, it is right here. Ok. Hmm.
Spike: He gave me his hat!
Kendall: Oh, he did. Look at that. Look. Can I put it on? Yeah? Ok, look at that. Spike has his own Red Wings hat, but he always liked Zach's better.
Bianca: Hey, there are some cookies in the kitchen that need decorating for Santa.
Kendall: Do you want to help? Do you guys want to help?
Jack: What about the big kids? We don't get to play?
Ryan: Oh, I'm definitely -- I'm going. Decorating cookies? Are you kidding me?
Bianca: All right. Come on, guys, let's go.
Emma: All right.
Bianca: Yeah, big kids can come, too.
Ryan: Ok, come on. Go ahead in there.
Jack: I guess it would be wrong to run the children down, wouldn't it?
Erica: Make those cookies, please. Can I get you anything?
Kendall: Zach's gift -- I want to open it. I just don't know if I can.
Kendall: Oh. Pretty.
Erica: Beautiful.
Kendall: Hmm. "I've been thinking about what to give you -- for Christmas for a long time. Nothing seemed like enough. Then it hit me. I'd give you the one thing you've always wanted. The one thing I've had the hardest time giving. Me." Oh, Mom, look. It's a journal. It's from when we were on the yacht together. Everything he was feeling and everything we went through as a family. It's all here.
Tad: So how are things over at the hospital? Are you ok with Jake working with Cara again? Last time we spoke, you were a little upset because you thought he had put her at risk.
Griffin: Right. I'm sorry about that. I'm a little overprotective of my sister. Try it without salt and lime.
Cara: Ok. I need a drink. Listen --
Griffin: Now look, you may have not won over the Martins just yet, but their tummies -- they're putty in your hands.
Cara: Hmm. Mwah.
Griffin: What was that for?
Cara: I love you. You're my brother, come on. Mmm!
Griffin: Do you remember what I told you? That Christmas when you were at the hospital?
Cara: Which one?
Griffin: I told you I'd be there for you if you ever needed me.
Cara: And here you are. Hmm.
Jake: How are you doing?
Amanda: Hey.
Jake: Merry Merry.
Amanda: What is it?
Jake: Open it up.
Amanda: Ooh.
Jake: It's just a little something to help commemorate our big -- well, small, amazing pirate night.
Amanda: [Gasps] Oh! [Laughing]
Jake: Do you see it? Do you like?
Amanda: I love it.
Jake: It's not all you're going to get, but it's just a little something special.
Amanda: I love it. Thank you.
Jake: Ok. To thank you for all the beautiful, amazing memories you've given me.
Amanda: Well, there are a lot more to come, believe me.
[While walking through the park, Madison slips and falls on her belly]
Madison: Oh. Oh! Oh -- ungh. Oh -- my baby --
Angie: Why so quiet?
Jesse: Oh. Now, don't -- you know, don't get me wrong. I like Brot. Just thinking that if they really decide to get serious, I'm going to have to let my little girl go.
Angie: Aw. Well, in a few more months, you might have another little girl to hold on to.
Jesse: Come here, you. Merry Christmas, Mrs. Hubbard.
Angie: Merry Christmas to you, too, my boo.
Tad: Whoo!
Amanda: All right. I think it's good.
Tad: Ready for the toast?
Jake: I love it when he does toast.
Tad: I got to hand it to you, it gets a little smoother the second time around.
[Laughter]
Opal: I'll have to try that.
Tad: To friends and family.
Opal: Aw.
Kathy: And Santa Claus!
Tad: And Santa Claus!
Opal: Sure!
Tad: May we all wake up to plentiful, non coal-filled stockings tomorrow. Got bless us all. Everyone, Merry Christmas.
Opal: Uh-huh.
Jake: Merry Christmas.
Griffin: And on behalf of myself and my sister, thank you for letting us crash your great party.
Opal: Yeah.
Griffin: Feliz Navidad.
Cara: Feliz Navidad.
Tad: Feliz Navidad.
Kathy: Feliz Navidad!
Amanda: Mmm.
Kathy: What's that?
Amanda: It was a nice toast.
Annie: How'd it go? Relax. No one saw me come in. Even if they did, we could say we were working on the Cortlandt crisis.
J.R.: It went great. Marissa offered me joint custody. It was her idea.
Annie: Really?
J.R.: Yeah.
Annie: Wow. That's incredible, J.R.
Annie: I'll finally have you all to myself.
Guard: Who are you here for?
Marissa: Oh -- Scott Chandler.
Scott: Hey, stranger. You come here often?
Marissa: Not often enough. Merry almost Christmas, Scott.
Scott: Huh.
Marissa: I brought you a present.
Scott: Is it a "get out of jail free" card? Because I am done with this place.
Erica: I hate the thought of leaving you.
Kendall: I'll be fine, Mom. I have this, remember? Thank you for being here.
Erica: Mmm. I love you.
Kendall: I love you.
Jack: We'll see you tomorrow, kiddo.
Kendall: Ok. Yup. Tomorrow.
Erica: Ok.
Jack: Come on, my little reindeer.
Kendall: I miss you so much.
Ryan: Santa doesn't show up until he knows everybody is asleep, so you better get upstairs right away and get to bed. Ok, guys? Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry! I'll be up there soon to tuck you in. Where are you, Greenlee?
[Knock on door]
Kendall: Father Clarence?
Father Clarence: Merry Christmas, Kendall. I hope it's not too late for a visitor.
