[Jake kisses Amanda]
Amanda: How am I supposed to get my errands done if you keep looking at me like that?
Jake: Forget about your errands.
Amanda: What about Tad? Isn't this supposed to be your brotherly bonding time?
Jake: You're a lot sexier than Tad.
Amanda: Maybe.
Jake: Maybe?
Amanda: Ha ha ha!
Tad: Look at this. Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit are at it again. What did I walk in on this time?
Jake: Amanda was just saying how ugly you were.
Amanda: Wha -- I was not!
Jake: You were too! You just said it.
Amanda: You are very handsome.
Tad: Oh, yeah? You like rent-a-cars? Join us for a drink?
Jake: Disgusting.
Amanda: Maybe next time. You two play nice, all right?
Jake: All right, babe. Happy? You scared her off.
Tad: What was that?
Jake: What was that?
Tad: Yeah, I mean, she blew out of here in a hurry. What did I say?
Jake: She probably thinks that we are gonna talk about David, which we are. See, let me explain something to you. Women are a lot more complicated than us men.
Tad: Really?
Jake: Oh, yeah, yeah. See, when it comes to David, she's got thoughts, and she actually has sympathy for the devil. Is that a song?
Tad: Finish.
Jake: She has a heart. That's all I'm saying.
Tad: Well, you're right about one thing. It's easier being a guy.
Jake: We got nothing to feel guilty about.
Liza: Hey, guys. Been a rough day, huh? Ok. Please, can I buy you guys a drink? [Laughs nervously] Great. So this is just how it's gonna be now, huh? I get the cold shoulder everywhere I go.
Tad: What did you expect?
Madison: I told Randi everything that she needed to hear, but can we please be honest with each other?
Frankie: There's nothing to be honest about.
Madison: Deny it all you want, but something happened the night of the party, something that is making your wife question me and your sister warn me. Whatever it is, it's making things very weird between us, and I don't know why we're ignoring it. I don't understand.
Frankie: I don't know what that was, but it was all me.
Kendall: You've been doing an awful lot to help Greenlee.
Ryan: Yeah, just like I would for you.
Kendall: Whatever you say.
Ryan: Have you ever tried hypnotherapy?
Kendall: No, no, but I heard it works.
Ryan: Well, then, why don't I remember anything, anything that happened between David and me that night?
Kendall: Because, Ryan, maybe nothing huge happened. You punched him. He punched you. Why can't you just leave it at that?
Ryan: Because they haven't found anybody else that has more means, motive, or opportunity to poison David than me. You know what? I can't wait anymore.
Kendall: Wait. Where are you going?
Ryan: I'm going to get some answers.
Jesse: You killed David?
Greenlee: I'm the reason he's dead.
Jesse: The reason. I don't follow.
Greenlee: When I married David, I thought that we could be happy, but things changed, and I realized I'd made a huge mistake. So I started to pull away, and he reacted -- well, the way you would expect him to react.
Jesse: He went extreme.
Greenlee: To keep me from leaving.
Jesse: Blackmail. So -- while you were playing him, Ryan helped you get free.
Greenlee: David figured it out the night of the party. I've never seen him like that. I betrayed him. You know -- he was humiliated and rejected. This is a man who brought me back to life, and how did I repay him? I told him that our whole relationship was a lie. He'd already lost his medical license. Everyone he loved had either died or pushed him away. And in that moment, he lost everything he had left -- his wife, his future, his reason to live. I didn't put the poison in that glass, but I might as well have.
Jesse: So, are you telling me here that David killed himself? What you're telling me, Greenlee, doesn't fit with what we know. Ryan went after David, and they had a knock-down, drag-out right here.
Greenlee: Well, you have to understand David's frame of mind. He didn't want to give up on us, so when Ryan found him, yeah, he fought him. But maybe by the time the last punch was thrown, David realized it was too late. No matter what he did, he couldn't have what he wanted.
Jesse: So he gave up?
Greenlee: He wanted to believe that I would stay, but deep down he knew I was already gone. It just took someone to drive it home. Ryan did not kill David, but I think he made him finally understand that he'd lost.
Jesse: No matter what I thought of David -- he was pretty driven, and he wasn't the kind of guy to jump ship when the going got rough.
Greenlee: I knew him better than anyone, and he put on a front like nothing got to him, like there was no loss too big for him to get through. But underneath it all -- you know, he'd sit here at the end of the day with a glass of wine. I was always cold, so he'd put this around my shoulders. In the mornings, you know, he'd sit here looking out at the horizon. It was like he was gathering strength to take on all the people who hate him. In this dresser -- he had a secret drawer. He thought he could keep things from me, but that's how well I knew him.
Jesse: A secret drawer.
Greenlee: Mm-hmm.
Jesse: My people swept this room, and they didn't find a secret drawer.
Greenlee: Well, he didn't keep anything important in there. I think he just liked the privacy. Right here.
Jesse: Where?
Greenlee: Here.
Jesse: Letters. [To Marissa, Amanda, and Greenlee]
Frankie: You and I didn't get off to a very good start.
Madison: Oh, I was a drinking, gambling, vicious little mess.
Frankie: Yeah, but you turned it around. You're a different person.
Madison: What does this have to do with the other night?
Frankie: Well, I've watched you come such a long way. I really respect you now. It's probably why I feel so protective. I know what you been through, and I don't want to see you get hurt again.
Madison: Ok, protective is one thing, but that hug -- felt different.
Frankie: Yeah, but when I saw how upset you were about Ryan and Greenlee, I was just trying to make you feel better. But you're right. For a minute, that hug did turn into something else.
Madison: Well, it almost did. But then, you know, it got awkward, and we didn't talk about it.
Frankie: And I was surprised, too, the way we've been hanging out recently. It never crossed my mind that -- but when it did, the second it did, I wished I could take it back.
Madison: Well, nothing to take back.
Frankie: I know, but you know, it's not cool. I love Randi. You're with Ryan. I don't want to mess up our friendship. It's taken us a lot to get here.
Madison: I love that we're friends, too. And I never take it for granted after everything that I've done. And look, I didn't want to make you uncomfortable. I just wanted to get this out there so that we could go back to normal.
Frankie: Oh, God, I am so in.
Madison: Ha ha ha!
Frankie: So, we normal again?
Madison: Maybe.
Frankie: Whaah! How about now?
Madison: Ha ha ha! Well, if I was wearing an ugly outfit, and you didn't like it, would you be honest and tell me about it?
Frankie: I don't know. That's dangerous territory for a man.
Madison: Would you be honest about it?
Frankie: Ok, yes, but it has to go both ways.
Madison: I tell you about that Mets T-shirt all the time.
Frankie: Excuse me? It's Jets, and that shirt is perfection.
Madison: Ha ha!
Frankie: Ken Green, baby.
Madison: Right, right, ok. Well, the answer to your question is yes, we're back to normal.
Frankie: Ahh -- ooh.
Madison: How about?
Frankie: Yes. Ahem.
Madison: All right. Look, I gotta get out of here. You need a lift?
Frankie: No. I'll stick around, make a couple calls.
Madison: Ok, I'll see you later, then?
Frankie: Count on it.
Madison: Bud.
Frankie: Pal.
Madison: Ha ha! See ya.
Jake: P.V.A.D.
Tad: P.V.A.D.?
Jake: Yes. Pine Valley after David. The sun is sunnier, the air is airier, and the beer is beerier. Salut. Mm-mmm. What's that? That's unacceptable what you did there. That was a wussy move.
Tad: I'm pacing myself.
Jake: You're pacing yourself? Really? That's what you're doing?
Tad: Yeah. That's what I'm doing.
Jake: What's the matter, Liza got you depressed?
Tad: No.
Jake: Then what? What is it?
Tad: You know, it depends on how you look at it. It might not be right to celebrate, and the way Hayward died could cause trouble for so many people that you and I care about.
Ryan: See? There you go. You're talking about me again.
Tad: Oh, speak of the devil.
Ryan: Yeah, that's right. Pine Valley's number-one murder suspect and king of memory loss.
Tad: Nothing ringing a bell here?
Ryan: No. I even tried hypnosis, and you know how desperate I am. I got nothing. Nothing new.
Jake: Just give it some time. Give it some time.
Ryan: But I don't have any time, which is why I hired the world's best P.I. to crack the case.
Jake: You should bring him around sometime, introduce him to Tad. Give him some pointers.
Tad: Such a chimp. Listen, I meant what I said. I'm not sure this is a good idea.
Ryan: I gotta do this, Tad. I gotta get some more pieces to the puzzle here and put 'em together. I don't know. There could be somebody out there, another witness, somebody that saw something that went down in the hotel room.
Tad: What if there was? Are you sure you want me to find them?
Ryan: Yes. I gotta do this. I have to know.
Tad: [Sighs] Ryan, look, this is gonna sound strange, but if I had done something like this, disposed of somebody like Hayward, it would be tough, but I could find a way to live with it.
Jake: I wanted to kill him many times 'cause of what he did to my family. I would have felt justified.
Tad: You, you're different, ok? There's no way on earth you're gonna be ok with this. That moral compass of yours will point you right straight to prison.
Jake: That's true.
Tad: Leave it alone, ok? In this case, ignorance really is bliss.
Jesse: You ever seen these before? Greenlee.
Greenlee: What?
Jesse: Have you ever seen these letters before?
Greenlee: No.
Jesse: When's the last time you looked in this drawer?
Greenlee: I have no idea. I told you, it was David's.
Jesse: I hate to push, but I kind of have to here. If I can narrow down the timeline, figure out when these letters were put there, we can be just that much closer to finding out what happened to your husband. I'm gonna have to open these and read them.
Greenlee: Why? Obviously, what's in there is private.
Jesse: Greenlee, this is evidence. So we're gonna have to read them. Now. Starting with yours.
Greenlee: I can't do this. Not here.
Frankie: Hey, beautiful. Oh -- whoa, ooh -- I was supposed to meet you at my parents' place.
Randi: I waited for almost an hour, Frankie. Where were you?
Frankie: You know, things have been so crazy around here, and if it makes you feel any better, I forgot to put on socks this morning. See? No socks.
Randi: You know what? It's probably better that we do this here anyway instead of in front of your entire family.
Frankie: Do what?
Randi: Talk. About Madison.
Madison: What are you doing here?
Kendall: Oh, to make a long story short, Ryan is my babysitter.
Madison: And to make a short story a little bit longer?
Kendall: Well, I jumped bail. Yeah, yeah, I was driving to New York. I wanted to meet Zach and explain the charges to him, but I got caught.
Madison: How are you not locked up right now?
Kendall: Well, the judge owed Jesse some favors. So Ryan, of course, stepped in and said he would watch me and make sure I didn't go anywhere. So I'll be spending a little bit of time here with the kids.
Madison: Greenlee says it's the hero thing that's part of what makes Ryan so attractive. And sometimes --
Kendall: I know. Sometimes it seems like she's his Lois Lane? Can't help thinking about her?
Madison: No. I mean, his -- bravery and his selflessness, it is part of what makes Ryan such an amazing man. It's ironic, huh? The thing that we love so much about Ryan could be the thing that makes us lose him.
Kendall: We won't lose him.
Madison: I wasn't truthful before. I do think about Greenlee -- and what she wants.
Ryan: Thank you, guys, but I gotta tell you, from my perspective, you two are the upstanding ones, and I'm the one who has been known to have some pretty morally challenged moments, especially when anger gets the best of me, and Hayward is very, very skillful in --
Tad: Ryan, how many times do I have to say it? Whatever happened that night, you're better off not knowing.
Ryan: Ok, the bottom line is I was angry enough to kill him, Tad.
Jake: Doesn't mean you did it.
Ryan: Look, whatever David did to Greenlee that night, it scared her enough to want to stay with him. And I find this out, right? So I go to Hayward, and my intention is to keep him away from Greenlee. That's what I go there with the intention -- and I did it, you know. Hayward is permanently away from Greenlee. So no matter what happens, the truth is gonna come out here.
Tad: And you may go to prison.
Ryan: The bottom line is if I did this, I would be able to live with it, because I would know that there was a reason. It's the only way to stop David from hurting people.
Tad: All right. Have it your way. Let's just say if I find something the cops could use against you, it might disappear. I'm just saying.
[Jesse sighs]
Greenlee: "My dearest Greenlee, there are no words to describe what you've meant to me. I never knew I could care for anyone so much. I gave you my heart. I gave you everything I had to give, but it wasn't enough. You will never truly be mine, because you will never love me the way I love you. I know this now, and I accept it, but I can't live with the pain. I know I've hurt you. I know that you've suffered, and for that, and for that I'll be eternally sorry. I hope somehow that will help. With great love, your husband David."
Jesse: So, what do you suppose all this means?
Greenlee: He was hurting. I know what I told you up in the room. I just didn't realize.
Jesse: Well, I'm gonna have to enter these into evidence. I'll make copies, of course. I'm guessing that these are similar. You ok?
Greenlee: I don't know.
Liza: Be careful. You know there's wild D.A.s out here, right? Very dangerous.
Tad: Liza --
Liza: No, I'm serious. I could attack you at any given moment.
Tad: Ok, point taken. I suppose I was a little harsh back there.
Liza: Hmm! A little harsh. Yeah.
Tad: It's just that this whole Hayward thing's got everybody on edge, you know, and seeing you brings up certain feelings.
Liza: What, like, hate?
Tad: No.
Liza: Mmm.
Tad: More like disappointment. And I gotta be honest, I'm not the only one who feels that way.
Liza: There's a man that was murdered. Ryan Lavery is the prime suspect, and everybody here just wants me to turn the other way.
Tad: Ryan Lavery is a good man. He's got friends. He's got family. And Hayward was Hayward. You ask me, the real crime would be letting Ryan go to prison for doing something like that.
Liza: The law doesn't give a pass to the popular guy. I'm sorry. There was a crime committed. He has to pay.
Tad: I'm going to step back and take a few deep breaths. I know you've got a job to do.
Liza: Well, that was the nicest thing you've said to me in weeks.
Tad: I just wish to God you didn't seem to enjoy it so much.
Kendall: Well, thank you so much for the kitchen tour. If I'm gonna stay here, I at least want to help out. You have something that you want to ask me?
Madison: You and Ryan and Greenlee have history together.
Kendall: Yeah, long, insane history.
Madison: And Ryan respects you and your opinion.
Kendall: I like you, Madison. I can tell that you care about Ryan, and I even think you're good for him, but I can't take sides.
Madison: No, I know that. I want Ryan to be happy, whatever that means for him. I want this whole mess to be over with so he can focus on his own life and his kids.
Madison: I want the same thing. I know I don't have the same history with Ryan that Greenlee has. I mean, they're like this myth, you know? I'm just the girl he met when he wasn't looking.
Kendall: Oh, Ryan cares about you, too. I've seen it. I can tell. And Greenlee, she's done nothing but cause him trouble, a lot of trouble. She's the reason why he's a murder suspect.
Madison: I know he's innocent.
Kendall: Well, let's hope the police agree with you. And there's one other thing that you need to know. Ryan and Greenlee have unfinished business. He's trying to wrap it up, and maybe she is, too.
Madison: Maybe?
Kendall: I've known Greenlee a long time. When she wants something, she gets it. Trust me.
Jake: Good luck with everything.
Ryan: Ok. What is it? What's wrong?
Greenlee: Nothing. It's -- hard to explain.
Ryan: Ok, sit down.
Greenlee: No, you sit, too. You're gonna need to sit for this.
Randi: Look, I get that you guys are friends, and I'm totally cool with that. And I know that she's with Ryan, but --
Frankie: Yeah, but Ryan's been all about Greenlee lately. It's been hard for her.
Randi: Fine, but what about us? Why are you keeping secrets from me?
Frankie: I was just trying to give her some privacy. If it were you, you'd want the same thing, right?
Randi: It's just weird that you didn't say anything.
Frankie: I know. I screwed up, and I'm sorry. Madison's my friend, but my wife comes first. I don't want there to be any secrets between us. I just want to show you every day, every minute, how much you mean to me.
Randi: I really wasn't accusing you of anything. You do make me feel so loved.
Frankie: Well, in case you need a reminder --
Randi: [Chuckles as he closes the curtain and they kiss] Mm.
Frankie: Wait a minute. I got it. I got this.
Randi: Shh. Ha ha ha!
Liza: I just find it amazing that after all these years, you don't know me.
Tad: I know you're the new D.A., one that's going after Ryan without mercy.
Liza: Do I take pride in my work? Damn right. Do I want to be the best? Hell, yes. I didn't go back to law school at my age and bust my butt just to become another attorney. I want to be the best. I want to be respected, and I want to be recognized.
Tad: Well, you'll be recognized, all right.
Liza: If you don't know how much this is absolutely killing me, to go after one of the finest men in this town, you just don't know me.
Tad: That's it? You're really gonna defend David, everything he was, everything he did, all the people he hurt?
Liza: Everybody in this town just thinks that David was just evil. He wasn't. Yeah, I do. I have a little sympathy for him as a man that made mistakes because he was in pain. Listen, until you have felt what he's felt, Tad, who are you to judge?
Tad: That's how you see it?
Liza: All I know is that you and Jake and everybody else in this town is gonna go dance on his grave. I can't. That man is gone.
Tad: Well, that's the thing, Liza. I get the impression that Hayward will never really be gone -- because say what you will about the guy, he did make an impression.
Liza: Well, nothing lasts forever, right?
Tad: No, I guess not.
Jesse: I have news.
Liza: Is it bad?
Jesse: Depends on who you ask.
Ryan: Suicide? Hayward intentionally taking his own life?
Greenlee: What's the more plausible story? I mean, you and David had a major fight, Ryan. When it's over, you're both bloodied and bruised up, but he waits while you stagger back to the bar, get him a drink and mix it with a lethal dose of his own digitalis? Then he knocks it back, and he dies? That makes absolutely no sense.
Ryan: Maybe Hayward tried to poison me, and I got a hold of the drink, and I forced it down his throat.
Greenlee: You wouldn't do that.
Ryan: We both know what I'm capable of when rage takes over, Greenlee.
Greenlee: You're not that man anymore.
Ryan: I know how angry I was when I went to the room. I just don't remember what happened.
Greenlee: Stop trying.
Ryan: What?
Greenlee: You're free. We're both free. What David wrote proves that. Whatever you said that night made him realize that it was over, that he had no chance of getting me back because --
Ryan: Because why? What could I have possibly said to him to make him want to give up?
Greenlee: I don't know. But isn't it the most logical explanation?
Ryan: There's a million explanations -- possible explanations here.
Greenlee: Yeah, you know what, and we could come up with stories all night long, but why don't we accept the obvious? No more racking your brain. No more hypnosis, just move on with your life and have what you really want.
Jake: Hey. What are you doing here?
Greenlee: Looking for you, actually.
Ryan: I -- I'm gonna get going. Ok, will you please let me know if you hear something else?
Greenlee: Yeah.
Ryan: All right.
Jake: So did you fill him in on what he said when he was under hypnosis?
Greenlee: If you're talking about him admitting that he still loves me, I would hope that he'd have a bigger reaction than that.
Jake: Oh. Of course. Yeah, what am I thinking? A few brass bands and pyrotechnics and fireworks. When can I expect to see that?
Greenlee: Actually, if he's not admitting anything, I'm not gonna push it right now.
Jake: Right. So you're gonna try to help clear his name.
Greenlee: Hopefully, that's already taken care of.
Amanda: Hey! My errands are finito. I'm officially all yours.
Jake: Excellent.
Amanda: What's going on? Oh. Oh, who's it from?
Greenlee: David.
Amanda: David wrote me a letter?
Greenlee: Well, the envelope says "Amanda", but I think it's for both of you.
Amanda: "Amanda, despite all the ugliness between us, you are a beautiful, strong, loving mother. I'm sure I don't have to tell you, but Trevor is a very special little boy. Even after I learned I wasn't his father, I still felt a connection with him. I still loved him. In the past, you'd have perceived those words as a threat, but now it's different. You're safe. Your family's safe. You will never have to worry about me again. It wasn't all bad between us. Try to remember that. Yours, David."
Jake: So he killed himself.
[Amanda sighs]
Greenlee: Seems that way.
Jake: You ok?
Greenlee: Yeah, I'm still in shock, I guess.
Amanda: Can we get you anything?
Greenlee: No. No, thanks.
Jake: You're shaking.
Greenlee: Don't worry about me. I'll get through this. That letter was David's gift to you. I hope it helps.
Kendall: Hi. What are you doing?
Tad: Enjoying the view. I was just seeing if you and Lindsay Lohan had anything in common. You know, ankle monitor? Seems like everybody's wearing 'em these days.
Kendall: Who told you about my little adventure? Jesse?
Tad: Little adventure? You got caught speeding across state lines.
Kendall: You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now, but no, I just -- I keep right on breaking the law.
Tad: Well, you're out on bail. Ryan's looking out for you. I mean, it could be worse.
Kendall: Yeah, well, not everyone would agree with you.
Tad: Ah, I'm sure Liza's a little upset that Jesse pulled some strings for you, but look at the bright side. You got some time to put your case together.
Kendall: Mmm, well, I have a few more pressing issues than Liza. Like my husband.
Tad: Zach's pissed?
Kendall: Yeah, he will be when I tell him.
Tad: Kendall, you gotta tell him. He's gonna find out one way or another.
Kendall: Yeah, I know, Tad, but what am I supposed to say? "Hi, honey. Things are going great here. I'm hanging out at Fusion, hanging out with my friends. Oh! And I have some felony charges against me, too. Isn't that great? Why, you ask? Well, because I was helping Ryan and Greenlee. You know, that's what I always do. And I know that makes you so happy. I mean, that's why we left Pine Valley in the first place, but hey, things happen."
Tad: I see your point. I'm sorry. I wish I could help.
Kendall: Yeah, well, it would make it a lot easier to break this to Zach if I wasn't waiting to go on trial. I just wish there was some way I could push things up, maybe speed things up a little bit so I can deal with this.
Tad: Said the accused to the guy that used to date the D.A.?
Randi: [Chuckles] You know, one of these days, we're going to get caught.
Frankie: See, I wouldn't worry about that. They don't call it doctor privileges for nothing. I love being here with you like this. Sometimes I just wish that --
Randi: Ah! Do not even say that we could do it at Fusion.
Frankie: Ooh -- elevator up. Elevator down.
[Both chuckle]
Frankie: No, I was gonna say, though, as much fun as this is, it would be great if we could add another purpose to it.
Randi: A baby?
Frankie: A baby. You and my mom pregnant at the same time? Both the kids could grow up together. How cool would that be?
Randi: Very, but I gotta be honest with you, Frankie. I'm not ready. I've got this huge photo shoot coming up, and I'm right in the middle of trying to get my career started.
Frankie: It doesn't have to be one or the other. Fusion's all about supporting women.
Randi: Baby, we had a fight, we made up. Let's not go overboard now. Mmm --
Madison: You're gonna need more coffee. Kendall drinks three cups in the morning.
Ryan: I know I should have told you that she and the boys are staying here. I'm really sorry. I just -- [Sighs]
Madison: Ryan, are you ok?
Ryan: Yeah, I --
[Knock on door]
Ryan: Mm-hmm.
Jesse: Got an update for you.
Ryan: I actually have already heard.
Madison: I haven't.
Jesse: Well, we're still investigating, but there's new evidence to suggest that David might have killed himself.
Madison: Oh, my God!
Jesse: Yeah. The lab is still working on the letters, and I will call you with an update.
Ryan: Hey, thank you for making the trip over here, Jesse. I appreciate it very much.
Jesse: Ok.
[Door closes]
Madison: That's incredible! If that's true, you'll be free!
Ryan: Yeah, free, huh? That's exactly what Greenlee said.
Kendall: Not very subtle, was I? No. Ok. Sorry, Tad. I'm just desperate. My marriage is on the line. Otherwise, I never would have asked about Liza.
Tad: Hey, it's ok. I understand.
Kendall: No, no, you know what? You guys have just had a breakup from hell. And I shouldn't have asked, so just forget that I even mentioned it. I will completely figure this out on my own. Ok?
Tad: Well, I'm not gonna lie to you. Things are pretty nasty between me and Liza. It seems like they're getting nastier all the time. But you know, she -- does kind of owe me.
Kendall: You don't have to do this.
Tad: No, no, no. Come to think of it, it might work out well for both of you. See, Liza, wants everybody to know she's a good person. This might just give her a chance to prove it.
Jake: Let's go. I want to get out of here.
Amanda: Ever since David died, I've been telling you that he had another side to him, a decent side.
Jake: Can we get out of here, please? Our son is waiting for us. Trevor's waiting.
Amanda: Trevor. That's what I saw, Jake. That he had a heart. Look, I don't know why he did what he did. But Greenlee is right. This letter is a gift to our family.
Jake: You don't really believe that, do you?
Amanda: He didn't have to write it.
Jake: He didn't have to do a lot of things. He didn't have to try to have you bear his children. He didn't have to do that. Do you not remember that? 'Cause I remember that. He did not have a heart.
Amanda: Jake don't do that. It's disrespectful!
Jake: Disrespect -- you know who I respect? I respect whoever got rid of David. That's who I respect.
Madison: Suicide's nothing to celebrate, but I thought you would at least be relieved.
Ryan: Yeah, I guess I should be, right? I mean, Greenlee and everybody is saying the same thing. It's just that something about David killing himself, it just doesn't feel right. My gut just says it -- I mean, the guy was on a mission to get Greenlee back, so I -- I can't imagine what could possibly make him want to give that up, no matter how convincing I was.
Man: If you'd like another room, we can have your things moved right away.
Greenlee: No, I need to get away from here, away from -- the memories. I just need a minute.
Man: Take as much time as you need.
[Door closes]
Greenlee: [Holding a picture of David] Forgive me.
