[Music plays at the Yacht Club]

Greenlee: [Sighs]

David: Greenlee -- are you all right?

Greenlee: Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?

David: I'll tell you what. Why don't we, um, skip dinner here tonight? We'll take the bottle upstairs to the room and we'll order something decadent from room service, and we'll relax in the privacy of our own room. Where are you tonight?

Greenlee: I'm sorry, I just -- I have a lot on my mind.

David: Are you still upset with me? Is that it? Because I paid off the S.E.C. without telling you? Come on, Greenlee, I wasn't doing it to hurt you. I was doing it to protect you.

Greenlee: I said I forgave you.

David: Ok, fine, but you're still obviously tense.

Greenlee: I'm just bracing myself for the next shoe to drop.

David: That's not going to happen, all right? So you can just relax.

Greenlee: Right. Right, because the police are just going to forget about Erica's plane being sabotaged?

David: I'll take care of them, the same way I did with the S.E.C. You have nothing to worry about, ok? I haven't let you down yet, have I?

[Knock on window]

Ryan: Hey. Wow. What's all that?

Madison: You know, it's been a while since I've been to New York, and so much has changed. You know, I want to get to see as much of it as I can.

Ryan: Yeah, except I'm not --

Madison: I can't go to New York without seeing a Broadway show. I heard "Memphis" is good. And everybody loves "Chicago." Oh, look, look, look, there's this new sushi bar, Aquamarina. Got a really high rating.

Ryan: Yeah.

Madison: And you hate musicals and raw fish?

Ryan: No, no, no. It's not that. It's not that.

Madison: I mean, I know we'll be tied up in meetings a lot for the advertising conference, but we got to take a break at some point.

Ryan: I'm not sure that I am going to the conference.

Madison: Well, why -- what happened?

Ryan: Well, it's -- ever since Annie has gone back to work, Emma's had a tough time. And I really -- I sat her down, and I told her about this weekend in New York, and she kind of -- she kind of freaked out. I mean, I almost cancelled the trip right then and there.

Madison: Oh. Poor thing.

Ryan: I know, I know. Anyway, I just -- I want her to be happy, you know? And she's had such an incredibly tough year. And finally starting to get on track. I just -- I don't know what to do. I mean, I know I can't spoil her. I just -- I got to talk to her.

Madison: Well, let me help you.

Erica: Why did you bring me here?

Caleb: To end this.

Erica: You still haven't said what "this" is.

Caleb: What do you want from me?

Erica: I want to stop wondering why you behave the way you do, why you say the things you say. I want to get you out of my mind. I want you out of my head. I want to stop caring about you.

David: Your shoulders are like rocks. Your back isn't much better. You keep tensing up like this, your leg problems could return. Add to that rising blood pressure, and jeopardize all the work we've done.

Greenlee: Is that really true?

David: You think I'd lie to you about something like that?

Greenlee: Sorry.

David: Oh, great. Great, now you're doubting everything I say.

Greenlee: You can't make every question in my head go away. You can't fix everything.

David: But I can try, right? You know there's nothing I wouldn't do for you.

Greenlee: Yeah, well, some things, I have to do for myself, like work. I've got to go pick up some ad artwork at the shop before it closes.

David: Ok, fine. Well, I'll go with you.

Greenlee: No. I'm -- I can handle it.

Frankie: When does it stop, David?

David: I'm sorry, what are we talking about?

Frankie: Jake just informed me that my name's on top of the list to be laid off in the next round of budget cuts.

David: Hey, blame it on the economic crisis.

Frankie: That's a load of bull.

David: No, actually, it's the new reality here. Therefore, you and your mother better get used to it.

Ryan: That looks so good.

Emma: Uh-huh.

Ryan: Whoa. You want anything else, Ems?

Emma: I want you to stay here and not go to New York City.

Madison: Have you ever been to New York City? Oh, it is a wonderful, magical place. There are museums and the theater and shops. Even shops for little girls like you.

Ryan: Hmm.

Madison: There's this doll store on 5th Avenue where you can go and buy little outfits and shoes for your dolls and for yourself.

Emma: You mean like matching outfits?

Madison: Mm-hmm. And I'll bet that if you asked him, your daddy would probably bring you back something from there.

[Ryan chuckles]

Emma: Would you?

Ryan: Absolutely.

Emma: But I'll miss you if you go.

Ryan: I'm going to miss you, too, Ems. I will, but I'll be back before you know it.

Emma: It'll seem like forever.

Ryan: Oh, I know.

Madison: Hey, Emma, I'm going to tell you a story about a little girl in New York City named Eloise. She was your age, and she lived in this big hotel called the plaza. And she had all the toys and dolls and clothes that other girls could only dream of. But her parents were never around.

Emma: That's not nice.

Madison: No, it's not. And I know because -- well, I was a little bit like Eloise when I was a girl. I had lots of clothes and lots of toys. But all I ever really wanted was exactly what you already have. And that is a mommy who adores you, and a wonderful, kind, sweet daddy who loves you so much that even if he does have to go away every once in a while, he will come back to you just as soon as he possibly can, always.

Emma: Promise?

Ryan: I cross my heart.

Emma: Then I guess a few days isn't so long.

Ryan: No. Hey, who knows? Next time we go to New York, maybe it won't be for business and you can come with us.

Emma: Can we go see where Eloise lived?

Ryan: Yes, absolutely. And then we can go on the horse-drawn carriages. We can go to the children's museum. We can go to Central Park and get some ices -- all of it.

Emma: All three of us?

Ryan: Um, yeah, if Madison can join us.

Emma: Doesn't that sound like fun?

Madison: That sounds perfect.

Emma: Hmm. Hmm.

Bianca: I don't know why I'm on the no fly list. That's why I'm calling you. Huh.

Jack: Well, I guess I don't have to wonder what that was about.

Bianca: I don't know how this could have happened. Is this my punishment for flying across the ocean once with a cranky baby?

Jack: Yes -- no. It's just a mistake, and I've got people working on it already, ok?

Bianca: No, but I promised the kids. And Reese is so busy with work.

Jack: Honey, the kids will understand.

Bianca: I just -- I don't want the girls to think their mom breaks promises.

Jack: Come here. You are going to make good on this promise, I promise you, ok?

Bianca: Ok.

Jack: Ok. [Chuckles]

Bianca: Oh, you don't know how much it means to me that you've got -- you've got my back, and Mom's. I don't know -- without you, I might be locked up in Guantanamo, and Mom might still be up on that mountain.

Jack: Yeah, well, I would pity poor Guantanamo.

[Bianca chuckles]

Jack: I think I got your mother off that mountain just in time.

Bianca: How is the wedding planning going?

Jack: Well --

Bianca: You need me to do anything to help?

Jack: No, I don't. The wedding planner's taken care of everything. You know, everything. All I need you to do is show up.

Bianca: Have you picked a place yet?

Jack: Yes, I have. The yacht. The yacht. We're going to get married on a yacht. I thought kind of a nostalgia meets romance for old time's sake kind of a thing. Look on this guest list your mother generated. You think -- what do you think? You think maybe I should be looking for an ocean liner instead of a yacht?

Bianca: Hmm. Captain, I think you're going to need a bigger boat.

Jack: Ha, ha, ha! Good. That was good.

Bianca: Ha, ha.

Jack: Yeah. I think maybe so.

Bianca: It's going to be wonderful.

Jack: Yeah.

Bianca: I'm so happy for you guys.

Jack: But I want you to be happy, too. Listen, don't worry. You're going to be spending time with your family, I promise, very soon.

Bianca: Until then, there's always the phone.

Jack: Always the phone.

Bianca: Well, and speaking of that, I think I'll go check in on Reese right now.

Jack: All right. I'll see if I can cut some people.

Bianca: Good luck.

Jack: Thanks.

Greenlee: Someone's throwing a party.

Jack: I'll take that.

Greenlee: No. You don't want me at your wedding?

Erica: Go ahead.

Caleb: Go ahead what?

Erica: Isn't this the part where you start hurling insults at me? Making fun of me? Go ahead, bring it on.

Caleb: Nope.

Erica: Nope? That's all you've got? Wow, I don't know why I waste my time. You have no idea how to show somebody who you truly are.

Caleb: What makes you think I owe you an explanation for anything at all? What, just be -- never mind.

Erica: Just because what, Caleb? Come on. Show some guts. Finish the sentence.

Madison: How's she doing?

Ryan: She's great. She's on the phone right now with Annie telling her all about the doll that she's getting from New York.

Madison: Oh, those things are pretty pricey. I'm sorry.

Ryan: [Chuckles] Don't be sorry. Don't be sorry. She's just -- she's happy. She's smiling again. That's all that matters.

Madison: You're a good dad.

Ryan: You helped a lot.

Madison: I'm just glad that it worked.

Ryan: And I know that you -- you're sugarcoating what it was like when you were a little girl.

Madison: I did always have this amazing dream of a father who wanted to spend a little bit more time with me. I just wanted Emma to know how lucky she is.

Ryan: Well, I think you succeeded. Although your description of Emma's dad seemed a little -- boring.

Madison: Boring? What's -- what's boring about kind and sweet?

Ryan: You forgot a couple things. I'm just saying, like, side-splittingly funny and brilliantly witty.

Madison: And devastatingly handsome?

Ryan: Yes. Must have just slipped your mind?

[Madison chuckles]

Ryan: You know, I am looking forward to going to New York with Emma, but I -- I'm really looking forward to going there with you, alone.

Madison: Me, too.

Greenlee: I shouldn't have looked. It's not my business.

Jack: No, it's not. The fact is, this list is a work in progress. Erica and I have to sit down and go over it yet.

Greenlee: Well, we both know she's not going to put me on the list.

Jack: It's not just Erica's wedding, you know. It's not all about what Erica wants.

Greenlee: Isn't everything in life about what Erica wants?

Jack: Greenlee, I'm not going to stand here and defend her, especially after what you and your husband did to her.

Greenlee: Well, it's not like I even want to go to your wedding. And if I did, I could just crash it, the way that you crashed mine.

Jack: No, I wasn't crashing your wedding, I was trying to stop it. Unfortunately, I didn't succeed.

Greenlee: Hmm. So much for our pact to be civil about each other's relationships.

Jack: No, that pact was made long before you decided to cook the books and frame Erica. And long before you and David got together and did whatever the hell it was you did to make her plane crash.

Greenlee: I didn't do anything.

Jack: You know, I would so love to believe that.

Greenlee: But you can't, can you?

Jack: Because the Greenlee I knew wouldn't have married Hayward in the first place.

Greenlee: If you don't want me at your wedding, fine. I won't lose sleep over it. Watching you marry her once was enough for one lifetime.

Jack: Ugh.

[Phone rings]

[Greenlee ignores a call from David]

Erica: What are you so afraid of?

Caleb: [Inhales deeply] Huh.

Erica: What's so awful about admitting that maybe something happened to you, Caleb? Or maybe just letting someone in?

Caleb: Someone?

Erica: All right, me. Let me in. I'm right here, Caleb. I'm right here.

Caleb: Hmm. I've said enough. I'm done talking. Excuse me.

Erica: You say that you want to end this thing once and for all, and yet, every time I open my mouth, you tell me that I'm wrong about you. And when I challenge you to explain, then you just shut down on me.

Caleb: Look, I had a peaceful life. I didn't ask for any of this, and suddenly, I am stuck in some suburban nightmare having to deal with a multi-million dollar company, and having to run it with you.

Erica: Well, if you hate it so much, why don't you just go back where you came from? Go then! Leave us all in peace. I would like some peace, too. And to me, that means marrying the love of my life without you here messing with my head and getting me so upset!

Caleb: Yes. And you know what I think? I think that you're afraid. I think you're afraid that I am going to mess up your perfect life, your perfect marriage to the perfect guy with the perfect hair. You know who's screwing this up? Not me. It's you.

[Door opens and Jack appears]

Caleb: Well --

Randi: Hey.

Frankie: Hey.

Randi: Perfect timing. I was just going over all the little things that I have to do before I go.

Frankie: Ok.

Randi: And on the very top of that list is kissing my husband and telling him that I love him.

Frankie: Mmm, mmm.

Randi: Mm-hmm. What else, what else, what else? Um, passport. Ticket -- I've got that. A pic of you so I can share a kiss with you every night.

Frankie: Oh, my goodness.

[Randi giggles]

Frankie: Come here, come here. Mmm. Oh, I'm going to miss you.

Randi: I'm going to miss you, too, baby.

[Randi kisses Frankie]

[Frankie sighs]

Randi: What's wrong with you? You ok?

Frankie: No, I'm fine.

Randi: You're a really bad liar.

Frankie: Ok. I just got word that I'm on the short list for the next round of layoffs.

Randi: Oh, no, babe --

Frankie: Yeah. See, I know Hayward's behind it, but when I confronted him, he gave me this crap about the economic crisis.

Randi: And you're not buying it?

Frankie: See, he's been trying to nail my mom and dad directly, but he can't, so he's using me to do it.

Randi: Tsk. All right.

Frankie: Well, wait a minute. What -- what are you doing? Hey --

Randi: I'm not going to leave you here at a time like this.

Frankie: Look -- no, no, no, no, no. You can't. You can't pass up this chance of a lifetime for you. Besides, if I do get laid off, we can use the cash you'll make on the shoot. Huh?

Randi: You sure?

Frankie: Positive.

David: Greenlee, hi. It's me again. I've been trying to reach you, but I keep getting your voicemail. I'm starting to worry, so when you get this, just, please, just call me.

Ryan: Don't mind me.

David: Oh, no, why should I mind you? The man who listens in on my phone conversations.

Ryan: Well, believe me, I have better things to do with my time.

David: Are you really going to deny that you eavesdropped on my conversation?

Ryan: Are you really going to deny that you bribed the S.E.C. to save your ass?

David: You know, I'm not going to say anything that you can twist into a nice, juicy tidbit to bring back to Greenlee. Yeah, why don't you just give it a rest? Working so hard to prove that she made a mistake marrying me.

Ryan: You're doing a pretty good job of proving that all by yourself, Hayward.

David: Yeah, right. Look, just stay the hell out of my marriage.

Ryan: Or what? What are you going to do? You going to rig my car to crash like you did Erica's plane?

David: You don't know what the hell you're talking about. You have no clue as to what I've done.

Ryan: I know you've wrecked Greenlee's life.

David: I mean, look at you. You just can't stop yourself from riding to her rescue, even if you have to make something up.

Ryan: You sound awfully paranoid, David.

David: All right, look, go ahead. Entertain yourself. You try to figure out what my next move is.

Ryan: I don't need to try and figure out what your next move is, because this investigation is not going to go away, and sooner or later, you're going to slip up. And when you do, Jesse will be there to nail you.

David: Hmm, and I'm sure you'll be there to comfort Greenlee in the end, right?

Ryan: You should have seen her face, man. When she found out you were lying to her, again.

David: Why don't you let it go, Ryan? You'll never understand our marriage because your marriage was such a dismal failure. We are so much stronger than you'll ever know. And you know why? Because we're so much more alike.

Ryan: Your marriage is built on lies. And it started with the biggest lie of all -- when Greenlee vowed to love you for the rest of her life.

[Music plays at Krystal's]

Singer: I need to know who will answer now? When there's nothing left of us at all and I need to feel --

Greenlee: Um, ahem -- scotch, neat. Make it a double.

Jack: What the hell's going on?

Caleb: It's about time you got here, jack.

Jack: You all right?

Erica: Oh, yes.

Caleb: If you'll excuse me --

Jack: You're not going anywhere.

Erica: No, please, Jack, let him go.

Jack: So what exactly did I walk in on just now? I'm ready to listen anytime you're ready to start talking.

Erica: Well, it all started when Caleb got into a fight with the Chandlers.

Jack: What the hell do the Chandlers have to do with me walking into my room and finding you here with another man?

Erica: Well, the Chandlers still want to buy Cortlandt Electronics. J.R. made Caleb an offer.

Jack: Must have been an horribly insulting offer.

Erica: You know, I don't think it would even matter what the offer was. Caleb has a problem with the Chandlers in general.

Jack: What the hell does that have to do with you?

Erica: I was the one trying to keep him under control.

Jack: By bringing him back to my room?

Erica: Oh, that was his idea, not mine.

Jack: Oh! That makes me feel better.

Erica: No, he says that he would like to end this thing once and for all.

Jack: Oh, now he thinks there's something going on between you two?

Erica: I guess. I don't know. Why are you looking at me like that?

Jack: I'm just trying to figure out what it is you're not telling me.

[Phone rings]

Jack: Montgomery. Well, that's good news, at least. All right, I'll be right there. You have a reprieve for now. We need to get to Fusion. There's somebody there that wants to see you.

Erica: Who is that?

Jack: You'll find out when you get there. And then, we're going to get back to this discussion. [Imitates whistling sound]

Randi: It's not too late, baby. I can still cancel my flight.

Frankie: Hmm? I mean, you thought it was silly for Amanda to pass up an opportunity like this, so, no. You're getting on that plane, because you're going to be the next big thing in the fashion world.

Randi: Mm-hmm, don't exaggerate. It's just one shoot, ok?

Frankie: See, one shoot is all it takes to blow 'em off the water.

Randi: Are you going to be all right?

Frankie: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, if the worst happens and I get axed, I'll finally have time to get to some of those projects I've been putting off for the last year, remember.

Randi: Well, that's not such a bad idea.

Frankie: Mm-hmm.

David: Hello, Bianca.

Bianca: You are so the last thing I need right now.

David: I'm just looking for Greenlee. Is she here?

Bianca: No.

David: Was she?

Bianca: Yeah -- I don't keep tabs on your wife. But by the worried look on your face, maybe you should.

David: You know, I'm kind of surprised you're still here. Your mother's recovered. And you've always made it very clear that you have no interest in being a part of Fusion. So why are you here? Where's your wife?

Bianca: You need to leave.

David: Huh. That's funny. And you people judge my marriage.

Singer: Better to know it than never to show --

Greenlee: Unbelievable.

Singer: I'm trying hard to pretend

Ryan: Hey.

Greenlee: Everywhere I go, there you are.

Bianca: Yes, hello! Oh, finally, a live person. That automated voice was making me crazy. I -- yeah, yeah. Well, by some bureaucratic error, I have been placed on a no fly list. Yeah, I've called three times to try and figure out what I can do. No, I told you, I don't know why. But I -- I'm just wondering how long it'll take before this is rectified. Bianca Montgomery. What do you mean, weeks? That's insane. I can't wait that long. I have to see my children. What -- well, is there anything else we can do? No, no, I don't understand.

[Elevator door opens]

Erica: Oh, Bianca, honey, what's going on?

Bianca: Oh -- they won't let me see my girls.

Erica: Oh! But I thought that Jack said that he was making progress.

Bianca: Well, yeah, that's what I thought, but then I called again to see if there's anything else I could do, and the woman was so cold about everything.

Erica: Oh.

[Elevator door opens]

Erica: Honey, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Jack: You're still having a problem, huh?

Erica: Oh --

Bianca: Yeah.

Erica: Jack, where were you? I got to the lobby, I turned around, you were gone.

Jack: I had something I needed to take care of. How are you doing, kiddo?

Erica: Oh, Jack, isn't there some way you can find a way for her to fly home?

Jack: Well, I think I may have come up with a solution.

Bianca: You got me off the list?

Jack: Better than that. Come here, both of you. Ok, any moment now.

[Elevator door opens]

[Bianca and Erica gasp]

Erica: Oh! Oh, goodness, hello!

Bianca: How did you do it?

Erica: Sweetheart, Miranda, look at you.

Bianca: Oh!

Erica: Oh, honey, you've grown so much. She looks beautiful. Both of you. Oh --

Bianca: Gosh, thank you so much. How did you do it?

Jack: Well, you know, I figured if I couldn't get Mohamed to the mountain, I would bring the mountain to Pine Valley.

Bianca: You have an amazing fiancé.

Erica: I know I do. Yes, I do.

Bianca: Oh, come on. Oh, your new tooth is growing in so fast.

Jack: You're all better, huh?

Erica: Oh, don't turn your back for a minute. You're going to miss so, so much. Oh, and I'm sorry that Reese couldn't make it.

Bianca: Oh, so am I, but -- once you see the building she's designing in Paris, you'll understand.

Erica: Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure it's going to be absolutely stunning.

Bianca: Oh, gosh, Uncle Jack, I can't thank -- well, where did he go?

Erica: Oh, I -- I don't know. Jack?

Bianca: Oh, well, maybe he just wanted to give us some private girl time.

Erica: I always knew that I couldn't fully be with anyone but Jack. And after we're married, I never will be.

Ryan: So are you just drinking for fun, or you got a special occasion?

Greenlee: Oh, I've got a purpose this time. A special purpose.

Ryan: Is that right? And what would that be?

Greenlee: Forgetting. For a few minutes, I don't want to worry about anything.

Ryan: I see.

Greenlee: Mm-hmm.

Ryan: You think there's any chance that you could not worry at home, in bed, maybe? Because it seems to me like you could use a little sleep.

Greenlee: Hmm. I'm good now. You can go.

Singer: The gifts that remind me of you

Madison: That man is a tsunami. No one is safe in David's path of destruction.

Frankie: Yeah, well, if you're anywhere near the Hubbard family, batten down the hatches.

Madison: Well, I hate to say it, but I think you're right about it being personal.

Frankie: Oh, there's no doubt in my mind. The man has voodoo dolls of both my parents. And whatever respect he had for my skills -- it's long gone.

Madison: I'm sorry.

Frankie: See, I shouldn't be laying this on you.

Madison: Oh, please. How many times have you let me spill on your shoulder? Anyway, it's not like I haven't been through David hell myself.

Frankie: Huh. Who hasn't?

Madison: Look, the hospital can't afford to lose a doctor of your caliber, and deep down, David's got to know that.

Frankie: So you think this firing threat is a scare tactic?

Madison: Absolutely. Look, the rest of the board will never let him follow through with this.

Frankie: Well, David has a way of making people do what he wants, even if they don't want to.

Madison: Look, I'll protest, ok? Signs, petitions -- I will rally outside of the hospital if I have to.

[Frankie chuckles]

Madison: Look, you just keep doing the amazing job that you do. Even he won't get in your way.

Erica: Jack, you left in such a hurry. We didn't have a chance to finish our conversation. I really hope that you're not upset about Caleb and me. I -- so, call me when you get a chance, ok? And again, thank you so much for arranging that reunion. You really are the most wonderful man.

Bianca: The girls are eating ConFusion out of house and home.

Erica: Oh, as well they should be.

Bianca: Well, someone forgot her sippy cup.

Erica: Uh-huh.

Bianca: Was that Uncle Jack?

Erica: His voicemail.

Bianca: Oh. Are you two ok?

Erica: We're getting married, aren't we? Of course, Jack and I are fine.

Bianca: Well, what was that about you and Caleb?

Erica: There is no me and Caleb. What a funny thing to say. Why would you say such a thing?

Bianca: Oh, I just heard your message. Worried Uncle Jack was angry about Caleb?

Erica: Oh -- oh, the man, he just flusters me.

Bianca: Flusters? That's a loaded word.

Erica: Well, a lot of things fluster me. I mean, rush hour traffic, bad hair days --

Bianca: And large, handsome men who save your life? Is it possible he does more than fluster you?

Erica: Maybe.

Caleb: Dog! Hey, buddy. Oh, man, I'm glad Grady's looking after you. I miss you, buddy. I miss you. [Kisses photo] How are you, buddy? [Kisses his dog's photo]

[Knock on door]

Jack: Mr. Cooney, have you got a minute?

Bianca: So you do have feelings for Caleb?

Erica: Oh, I have 100 different feelings about the man, starting with infuriated.

Bianca: And ending with?

Erica: Look, honey, Caleb saved my life. And more than once. And so there's gratitude. And the two of us were isolated for so long up there on that mountain. And even though he could be very difficult at times, we still -- we got through all that, together. So we formed a bond. It's a version of the Stockholm Syndrome. I'm sure that's what it is.

Bianca: But how much do you even know about this man?

Erica: Practically nothing.

Bianca: So you would never risk everything you have with Uncle Jack for some mystery man?

Erica: Of course not. Jack's the love of my life.

Bianca: Yeah, I love him, too. And what he did for me -- bringing Miranda and Gabby here -- just, he has such a huge heart. And I would just hate to see that broken -- again.

Erica: I would never do that, Bianca.

Bianca: Are you sure?

Erica: Honey, why are you grilling me? Of course, I'm sure.

Bianca: That's -- that's all I want to know. Just that you are 100% certain Uncle Jack is the man you want to spend your life with. That this marriage will be your last, because you're finally, truly with the man you were meant to be with.

Erica: That is Uncle Jack. He's my destiny.

Bianca: I hope you mean that.

Erica: I hope so, too.

Caleb: Did you lose her again?

Jack: What do you want from Erica?

Caleb: Nothing.

Jack: So why did you take her back to my hotel room?

Caleb: I was bringing her to you.

Jack: Erica's made it very clear she doesn't want anything more to do with you.

Caleb: Is that what she said?

Jack: That's what she said. And I intend to do everything in my power to make sure your paths don't cross.

Caleb: Well, then you better make sure she stays away from me.

Bianca: Do you really believe in destiny? Fate?

Erica: I do. And actually, you made a very good point. I don't know nearly enough about Caleb, but I intend to find out.

Bianca: I wasn't suggesting you launch an investigation.

Erica: No, I mean, if I'm going to push him out of Palmer's business, then I really need to know what makes him tick.

Bianca: Oh. Well, don't let it interfere with all the wedding planning we have to do.

Erica: Ah. Not a chance. You know something? I am sure that Gabby -- little Gabby -- and Miranda -- they must be very tired. Why don't you take them and the nanny back to my place, and then get them all settled, and then you and I will tuck them in later, ok?

Bianca: Ok.

Erica: Ok.

Bianca: Where are you going to be?

Erica: Oh, well, I have a few things to clean out of my office.

Bianca: Ok.

Erica: Bye, honey.

Bianca: Bye, Mom.

Erica: See you in a few minutes.

Bianca: Ok. Bye.

Frankie: Well, you know, if I get cut, I guess I have to trust that there is something better around the corner.

Madison: Frankie, it hasn't even happened yet.

Frankie: Yeah, I know, I'm just trying to prepare myself, that's all.

Madison: Ok, well, staying positive is the only way. That and lots of beer and pizza.

Frankie: Oh. Is that your recommendation, Doctor?

Madison: You are the doctor.

Frankie: Yeah, maybe not for long.

Madison: What, am I going to have to give you daily pep talks to keep you from plummeting to the depths of depression?

Frankie: You may, but you're going to regret taking me up on my offer to stay here.

Madison: [Sighs] Honestly, it just reminds me how lucky I am to be in a good place.

Frankie: Oh, rub it in, why don't you?

Madison: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's just so nice for my life to be running smoothly in all areas, for a change. Huh. You know? My place is almost ready, and between getting my old job back and my new relationship. Trip to New York.

Frankie: And you're on fire. We get it. And I'm not, so would you pipe down?

Madison: Sorry. Sorry.

Frankie: Look, I'm just kidding. I hope you know that. Because you deserve it all.

Madison: Well, thank you.

Frankie: So you and Ryan together in the Big Apple? You sure you're ready for a step this big?

Madison: It's a business trip, and Ryan already made it clear that I have my own suite.

Frankie: Hmm. So that mean I guess it's up to you if you want it.

Madison: And if I don't?

Frankie: Like I said, big step.

Madison: It is. You're right. But surprisingly enough, I'm not even worried about it. I really feel like I'm a part of Ryan's life.

Frankie: That's pretty serious.

Madison: After this weekend, it might be even more so.

Frankie: What is that supposed to mean?

Madison: It means that I think this trip might just take my relationship with Ryan to a whole new level.

Ryan: You shouldn't be here.

Greenlee: Hmm. [Sighs] Where should I be?

Ryan: Well, you should be at home in bed.

Greenlee: [Laughs]

Ryan: And what's so funny about that.

Greenlee: I'm happy right where I am.

Ryan: That's funny, because you don't look so happy to me.

David: Greenlee? You here?

Ryan: You ok?

[Ryan catches Greenlee as she almost falls off her bar stool]
