Kendall: Hi.
Ryan: Good morning. Hi, Boo.
Kendall: Oh --
Ryan: Hi.
Kendall: Who is that?
Ryan: Hi.
Kendall: Wait, Ryan. Did I --
[Spike babbles]
Kendall: Yeah. Did I -- did I forget something? Are we -- did we have plans?
Ryan: No, we didn't. I just wanted to spend a little time with Spike before the big surgery, that's all.
Kendall: Oh.
Ryan: How's he doing?
Kendall: Well, he is perfect.
Ryan: Yeah?
Kendall: He is -- yep -- and he will be able to hear us say that very soon.
Ryan: And how are you doing? Hmm. How are you doing?
Kendall: Um -- I'm ok. Um -- no, no luck on Zach yet, but we will find him.
Erica: Oh, hi, good morning. I'm sorry -- I don't have a lot of time. I have to get back to work, but -- sorry to interrupt. The car is waiting.
Kendall: Oh, that's ok. She's used to checking up on me.
Ryan: Of course, of course. We're going to go and spend a little man time, anyway.
Erica: Ok. Well, not before I say hello to you, handsome!
Ryan: Oh, good kisses.
Kendall: Oh, you love her!
Erica: Hmm, you cutie pie.
Ryan: Good kisses, ok. We'll be back.
Kendall: All right, all right, bye.
Erica: Oh. Oh, wow -- what are you working on? This is quite a project.
Kendall: Uh -- yeah. It is quite a project. It's --- it's definitely keeping me busy. This is -- this is just helping me deal with everything and -- oops.
Erica: Well, that's good.
Kendall: And it's -- it's just helping me focus on -- on finding Zach.
Erica: Oh, honey, that's terrific. I actually did a show like that the other day. Um -- but tell me, do you think at the moment, it might be more helpful for you to get back out there and be looking for Zach?
Kendall: Well, I -- I did. I went to Aidan's place that he has in the middle of nowhere.
Erica: Oh, really? And, what -- was there any word? Did they have any leads on -- on whereabouts of Zach and Greenlee?
Kendall: Uh -- I don't know. I never had a chance to look, because Aidan, the jerk, threw me out on my bum.
Aidan: Right, then, Fonz. Greenlee is out there somewhere, and today is the day that we find her. Smoke. What the hell?
Colby: Oh, yeah. You sure know how to pack it in, don't you? Yes, you do.
Tad: Thank God.
Colby: What's wrong?
Tad: What do you mean, what's wrong? I went to the nursery to check on her -- it was -- found an empty crib. I almost had a heart attack.
Colby: Oh, I'm sorry.
Tad: Hi, sweetie.
Colby: I didn't mean to scare you.
Tad: What are you doing here? You're supposed to -- what about class?
Colby: Teacher conference day.
Tad: Well, then why aren't you in bed like any other self-respecting teenager?
Colby: I can't sleep.
Tad: Yeah, of course, I'm sorry -- worried about J.R.
Colby: Oh, you want more? Yeah, my mind just won't shut up. J.R. drinking again, in jail maybe for the murder of Zach Slater?
Tad: No, don't say it, all right? Don't -- don't do that. Don't put it out there. We're not sure that's what happened.
Colby: Yeah, I know. The trouble is, neither does J.R. You're right, though. Well, is there anything else I could do for you? I did the diaper thing -- you know, the breakfast. I'm all yours -- and Jenny's, if you need me.
Tad: That's what this is about, isn't it? You know that Krystal spent the night with your father, and you want to do anything you can to help.
Colby: Don't hate Krystal, because she loves my dad.
Adam: I gave you a very nice, fat retainer to take care of this, Dwight. Well, if you can't get J.R. to take you on, then how are you going to convince the jury that he's not guilty? No, I expect that check returned immediately.
[Adam hangs up the phone]
Dwight Golden, one of the best criminal attorneys in the country.
Krystal: And J.R.'s not having any of it?
Adam: Why won't he let me help him? I'm his father.
Krystal: Adam, you're just going to have to step back and let J.R. handle it his way.
Adam: J.R.'s way is wrong.
[Cell door closes]
Guard: Hey, Chandler, your sister's here.
Ava: [Disguised voice] J.R., oh, my God, big brother. How are you? I miss you -- it's so gross in here.
J.R.: What are you doing?
Ava: What, is that any way to treat your little sis? If you could just chill out, your little sister's going to get you out of here.
Amanda: Hey, you're early.
Babe: Never left.
Amanda: You pulled an all-nighter?
Babe: Mm-hmm, with Little A -- huh. He had a great time. He's still sleeping in there.
Amanda: I get that we're behind, but this is above and beyond even for you. So, what about J.R.? Have you seen him since the last time?
Babe: God, what do you want to know, Amanda? Do you want to see my calendar? Here, here -- this should tell you everything you need to know.
Amanda: You don't have to get pissy with me. Fine, forget I asked.
[Babe sighs]
Babe: Look, I'm sorry. It's just -- it's just everything. You know, with work and the family, I -- I can't -- I can't open the door. I can't -- I can't take Little A for a walk. I can't even look outside of a window without some reporter dogging me for a statement about J.R. It -- it's just -- I have plenty of work to keep me busy here.
[Babe sighs]
Babe: Well, I'm glad to see Kendall approved the new spring look book.
Amanda: Hey. It'll be all right.
Babe: It has to be. But what if Zach is never found? What -- what if J.R.'s charged with his murder? I -- I don't want Little A growing up with his daddy locked behind bars. I just wish that he could remember what happened that night.
Amanda: Well, from what I've seen, J.R. seems really lucky in getting out of sticky situations.
Babe: Huh. Yeah -- sticky situations like sleeping with his ex-wife.
Amanda: Forgotten.
Babe: Look, Amanda, we haven't really talked about what happened.
Amanda: Because there's nothing to talk about. I -- I'm so done. I'm over J.R., I don't care.
Babe: I'd almost believe you except for that little jailhouse visit you made yesterday? Doesn't exactly scream "you're over him" to me.
J.R.: This is a little extreme, even for you.
Ava: Well, I can't help that I'm persona non whatever since last time I tried to save your butt from here.
J.R.: Yeah, that's right -- with your booze-filled implants. Thanks, by the way -- every alcoholic needs his fantasy. So what's it going to be this time? Did you slip some scotch into a little lunch box?
Ava: No, stupid -- hypnosis. If someone can put you into a trance, maybe you can remember what you were really doing the night Zach Slater was hit.
J.R.: Right -- hypnosis. Brilliant. Thank you, but I'll pass. So I'm going to ask you one more time -- why are you here?
Ava: Because, I told you, I don't think you did it, and I love to be right, so I'm going to prove myself right.
J.R.: Bull. You're here for the same reason that I've been scoping you out. Because you just can't help yourself.
Adam: Damn.
Krystal: Uh -- look. I am not going to sit here and argue with you about what's right and what's wrong for J.R.
Adam: Sweetheart -- no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I -- last night was wonderful -- you back in my life. It means the world, ok? How -- how about some breakfast? I told Lucretia to make all your favorites.
Krystal: I -- I have to get back to Jenny.
Adam: You shouldn't have to do that. You should be free to bring your daughter with you.
Krystal: Now, don't, don't -- don't start with that again.
Adam: Why can't Martin let go of this? Why -- what is that -- this ridiculous edict of his?
Krystal: You know what it is.
Adam: Yeah -- he doesn't want his daughter anywhere near me -- right? And we both know damn good and well it's just his excuse to spoil what we have.
Krystal: Adam --
Adam: No, it's true -- it's lunacy! It's all happened in the past. It's all over! It's done -- everything has changed. You trust me with Jenny. Don't you?
Krystal: There is no point even going there. As far as Tad is concerned, there is no negotiation, no compromise. Look, go have that egg-white omelet that I'm sure Lucretia wants to make for you, ok? I have to go.
Adam: Damn you, Martin.
Colby: Tad, why can't we just be a semi-normal family?
[Tad chuckles]
Colby: With all this going on and then J.R. in jail on top of it --
Tad: It's a nightmare -- the whole thing. I just want you to know something -- I'm crazy about you. I would never do anything, anything intentionally to hurt you. I know this is a lot for you to deal with.
Colby: No, no, no, no. It's not about me -- I'm fine. J.R. is the one that's in a lot of trouble. I want to visit him.
Tad: Hmm.
Colby: But I don't know what to say. What can I do to help?
Tad: Be there. You don't have to say anything. You walk in there and show him that smile, it'll help. Trust me. Do it. I'll take care of Jenny, I'm fine. Go -- go, go, go. Check on your brother. Do him a favor -- go on.
Colby: Thank you.
Kendall: So, it turns out that Aidan bought this house in the middle of nowhere where he thinks that Greenlee and Zach might be. He's set up a base of operations there.
[Phone rings]
Kendall: Do you need -- you have to get that?
Erica: Um -- uh, no. I'm just answering it if it's the office, if -- if anybody called in response to the plea I made to find Zach and Greenlee. So, tell me about Aidan.
Kendall: Well, I begged him to let me help him search.
Erica: And that's when he threw you out?
Kendall: Yeah, not until after he maneuvered me into admitting that I framed Greenlee for kidnapping.
Erica: Oh, my God -- you didn't do that. Kendall! You know he's going to use that against you in the future.
Kendall: No, but it doesn't matter.
Erica: Of course, it matters!
Kendall: No, I don't care. I don't care what people think about what I did to Greenlee. All I care about is getting Zach back home and home safe. And really, there's no one better than Aidan at doing this sort of thing.
Erica: All right, well, I mean, ok. If you really believe that, then you have got to go right back to Aidan and insist that he let you help.
Kendall: I plan to.
Erica: Ok.
Kendall: I'm just figuring out how to make my entrance.
Aidan: This is military issue. If you're out there, I don't want any trouble. I just want to ask you a few questions. Hey! Is anyone out there?
Ryan: You have a very big day coming up. You do. The doctors are going to help you hear again. They're going to help you hear again. But don't worry -- you're not going to be in there all by yourself. I am going to be with you. I'm going to be with you for every second that they let me, ok? And so is your mom. You got to try and be extra, extra brave for your mom, though, ok, because she's -- well, your other dad, Zach -- your other dad, Zach -- he's off someplace and -- and your mom misses him very, very much, but I want you to know that -- he loves you as much as we do, and very soon, very soon he's going to be back, and he's going to tell you that himself. He's going to tell you that he loves you, ok?
Kendall: You amaze me, Mother. You give me so much strength and you make me feel like this is all really possible -- Zach coming home and Spike hearing again. I mean, you have done so much for me, but it's cost you Jack.
Erica: No, Jack and I are going to be fine. As soon as Zach and Greenlee are found, then I think Jack and I are going to be fine. Everything's going to be forgotten.
Kendall: I don't know if anything will ever be the same for any of us.
[Phone rings]
Erica: Yes, Pam. Uh -- was there any response to the plea for Greenlee and Zach? No -- all right. Pam, I'm coming in in a little while, just a few minutes and -- and we'll go over the lineup then at that time. Ok, bye. Oh, honey, I am so sure that someone is going to respond very, very, very soon.
Kendall: You know what? I don't really blame Aidan for throwing me out.
Erica: He had no right to treat you like that.
Kendall: Yeah, well, he was just standing up for the woman that he loves. That's exactly what Zach would've done for me. And he -- he made me angry, and he really ticked me off, but Aidan loving Greenlee that much was actually kind of beautiful.
Ava: You must really be drunk if you think I'm hot for you.
J.R.: That kiss in the alley?
Ava: You need to forget about it.
J.R.: Fine. I get you want to help me, but you need to keep both of your hands on your own life. You were better off not hanging around me.
Lt. Perry: What the hell are you doing here?
Ava: [Disguised voice] I'm just visiting my big bro.
Lt. Perry: Get out, Ava. After that stunt you pulled with the 100-proof bra, you're lucky you're not in your own cell.
Ava: [Normal voice] Oh, you're so hardcore. See you later, bro.
J.R.: I didn't request a lawyer.
Livia: You certainly need one. Lieutenant, may I?
Lt. Perry: Officer, could you open the door for the counselor?
Livia: Thank you.
J.R.: Ahem. My dad doesn't know when to call it quits. You're the second one today.
Livia: Adam didn't retain me.
J.R.: Who did?
Livia: Let's say it's the father who's proud that you're doing this the right way and who believes that you'll come out stronger because of it.
J.R.: Tad.
Livia: Mm-hmm.
J.R.: Well, tell him thanks but no thanks.
Livia: He discussed the charges with me and what you remember -- or rather, what you don't remember.
J.R.: Well, then I guess I'm screwed, because I don't remember anything.
Livia: He thought you'd say that, and he asked me to bring you something which he thought might be a little inspiration.
Babe: Bye, sweetie. You have fun with Winnie at breakfast, ok? Eat some waffles for me. Thanks, Winnie.
Winifred: Yeah, having breakfast with Little A is my favorite way to start the day. Yes, yes.
Babe: Bye.
Amanda: Hey, these are the swatches for the gift-with-purchase cosmetic bags, and I'm thinking the paisley.
Babe: So we're not going to talk about this?
Amanda: What?
Babe: About you being over J.R. It's not that easy. I mean, I swear it was over the first time I divorced J.R. and then I married him again.
Amanda: We weren't married.
Babe: Yes, but it doesn't mean that you weren't hurt when you found out J.R. and I slept together.
Amanda: All right, fine -- yes, I s hurt. J.R. made me feel like I was nothing and, God, I hate him for that.
Babe: Then why did you go visit him in jail?
Amanda: Because I wanted to see him suffer, nothing to look forward to but life in prison. I -- I know, it's not noble, but it's the truth.
Babe: But if he's innocent --
Amanda: And you know what? Maybe he is, but it wouldn't be the first time that a drunk J.R. plowed someone down. I am lucky to be living proof of that.
Babe: Look, Amanda, I should have never taken the fall for him when he hit you. But you did, and that's just it. J.R. always finds someone to clean up his messes for him -- you, me, Ava.
Ava: Hey, don't be so quick to lump me in with you freaks. I am so out of the J.R. business.
Krystal's voice: As far as Tad is concerned, there is no negotiation, no compromise.
Adam: What is this?
[Adam finds a New Mexico adoption certificate under his sofa]
Krystal: Hi.
Tad: Hey.
Krystal: How's Jenny?
Tad: Jenny -- Jenny is terrific. As a matter of fact, I just managed to put her down for her nap.
Krystal: Thank you for fixing that chair. I know she's going to love that.
Tad: Well, I hope so. J.R. always loved it. He used to rock in this thing for hours.
Krystal: Tad? I know you're worried about J.R. Adam is, too. He -- you both love him. Really, Tad, he barely slept last night. He's just desperate to find a way to help J.R., and he doesn't know what to do.
Tad: If he wanted to help J.R., he should've left him alone after he was born. He should've let Dixie raise him, because the best thing that Adam could do for any child is to reject them -- albeit, you know, not as harshly as he did to Jenny. That's a little too much.
Krystal: Look, I know. I know what he did to Jenny was horrible.
Tad: But? Come on, come on -- "but"? You're not finished yet, are you? What about -- "but everything is fine"? Is it ok now -- everything is forgiven?
Krystal: No, I have not completely forgiven Adam, and he knows that. Come on, Tad, he's made a million mistakes, but one thing you cannot deny is that he loves his children. Why can't you see that?
Tad: Because it doesn't matter! Why can't you see that? What that man calls "love" is poison -- it is toxic. And after everything he's put us through with that baby, I can't believe you're standing here even thinking of defending him as a father! That scares me half to death!
Krystal: I told you, Tad, I am going to protect Jenny.
Tad: You also told me you were done with him, that he was never going to set foot inside this house. Where'd that go? You told me that you were finished with him. That isn't the case, is it? Around here in your life, Adam comes first -- that's the fact.
Krystal: No, that is not true. Nothing comes before my --
Tad: It is true! You had a choice last night. You could've been in this house, you could've tucked your daughter into bed and sung her to sleep, and you chose to hit the sheets with him. That's the fact -- that's what happened. You chose Adam -- to hell with your daughter.
[Krystal slaps Tad]
Krystal: Tad, listen, you can slam Adam and me all you want. You can rant, you can rave, and you can curse him, but the truth is -- the truth that you can't even begin to face is that you'll never trust Jenny with anybody. And it's not because of Adam. It's because of Dixie. Dixie took Kate away from you.
Tad: Krystal, do yourself a favor -- don't bring Kate into this.
Krystal: Tad, Dixie took your daughter from you, and you will never forget that.
Tad: I said don't bring Kate into it, you understand? This has nothing to do with Kate.
[Phone rings]
Adam: Hello? No. No, no comment! No, not now, not ever! You damn jackals. Go pick somebody else's bones. Leave my son alone.
Aidan: Hey, nobody's going to get into any trouble here. I just want to talk to you.
[Footsteps]
Aidan: Hey, wait!
Ryan: I love you so much, Spike. I love you. And don't you worry, ok? You're going to get through this. I promise.
Erica: Listen, I don't want you to give up faith. Zach's going to be back. He's going to be wearing that coat before you know it.
Kendall: Zach is alive. I know he is. I mean, if -- if he weren't, I would feel it. I would know. He's just -- he's out there somewhere, and he's having a hard time getting back to me.
Erica: I so wish that J.R. would remember what he did that night. Then we'd all be a lot closer to finding Zach.
Kendall: J.R. could go to jail for real this time. This is what I'm talking about. I mean, how could all of our lives not be affected by this? There's so many people. So many things have happened. I mean, we've all taken hits, and we've all given plenty of hits. And here we are. Lives turned upside down and lives on hold.
[Phone rings]
Erica: What are you doing?
Kendall: You know what, Mom? You're right. You're right. I -- I can't just sit around here wondering and -- and waiting and trying to figure out what's going on. The only way to make things happen is to fight. So, I'm going to be back.
Erica: And where are you going?
Kendall: I am going to reclaim my life.
Amanda: Aw, what's with the new tweenager outfit? Another phase? Another new image?
Ava: Ok, bite me, ok? So you wanted to look over some contact sheets or something?
Amanda: Are you sure you'll have the time? Won't J.R. be expecting you for happy hour?
Babe: Amanda --
Ava: Ok, let's get this again for dumb-anda, ok? I don't care about J.R.
Amanda: Oh, so your whole two-drink-minimum traveling bar -- that was just charity work?
Babe: Ok, what's going on?
Amanda: Word from a friend of a friend at the cop shop -- the new face of Fusion here tried to smuggle booze into J.R.'s cell.
Babe: You're kidding. She's kidding, right?
Amanda: She showed up in a push-up bra and single-malt implants to help get him lit.
Ava: Look, some people that have blackouts can remember wt happened when they were blacked out if they get drunk again.
Babe: Ok, how stupid are you? J.R.'s an alcoholic. He just relapsed and you're waving liquor under his nose?
Ava: Well, the drunk didn't take a drink.
Babe: He didn't?
Ava: No, he didn't. I mean, he said that he would rather be planted behind bars than take another drink. So for someone that's all about trying to save his own butt, what's that all about?
Amanda: Maybe you don't know him as well as you think you do.
Ava: Or maybe you're just pissed because he's hot for me.
Amanda: Hey, Ava, that tat on your hip -- the "Yes" -- now, is that special for Jonathan, or anyone who sees it? Hmm.
Ava: Amanda, that is enough!
Amanda: Hey!
Ava: You little --
[Amanda gasps when her purse falls to the floor and spills its contents]
Livia: Maybe you're thinking too hard. Maybe you are trying too hard. Maybe if you relax --
J.R.: I just -- nothing. I remember the scotch, the taste. I remember how it felt going down until I couldn't remember anything at all, and that's about it.
Guard: Your sister, Mr. Chandler. This is the real one, isn't it?
Livia: Hello, Colby.
Colby: Is this a bad time?
Livia: It's perfect. I'll give you two a few. Guard?
J.R.: You shouldn't have come.
Colby: I had to. Why does everything have to be so screwed up?
J.R.: I'm sorry.
Colby: If you're sorry, and you mean it, then quit drinking. Why did you even start again? You know what drinking does to you, J.R.
J.R.: I've already stopped, and you have my word that I'm going to try to never take another drink ever again.
Colby: It's only a promise if you keep it.
J.R.: I love you, Colby. I want you to be proud of your brother someday.
Colby: I already am.
Krystal: Just let Mama clean up all this mess here. Goodness gracious. Agh. Oh. Oh. Ow.
[Knock on door]
Krystal: Oh, great. Dang.
[Krystal cuts herself with a tool]
Krystal: Oh -- no, no, Adam, come on, go home.
Adam: I'm here to see Tad. Where is he?
Babe: What's this?
Ava: What's new?
Babe: What's this?
Ava: Well, judging from the freaked-out look on Amanda's face, I'm saying it's some kind of nasty sex tape -- maybe with mouth of Fusion and J.R. Oh, you want to call me a slut now?
Amanda: It's -- I -- I had some family photos put on a disc, and they're really important to me. I totally forgot they were even in my purse.
Ava: Right, family photos. That's a snore. So if you don't need me here, can I go -- to see my fiancé?
Babe: Yes, go. I'll come with you. I promised Winnie I'd meet her and Little A at the park. Look, it kind of sucks for everyone right now, so if you -- we could all make a little effort to get along so we don't turn each other into confetti --
Amanda: All right.
Ava: Whatever.
Babe: Well, that's a start.
Tad: Hey. Have you seen my old man?
Julia: I think he's in with the board.
Tad: Damn it. I'll just wait in his office.
Julia: What's eating you?
Tad: Krystal. Ok, I admit it -- you nailed it. She's crazy in love with the guy who tried to sell my daughter to the highest bidder. I don't know what to do. It's driving me nuts. I mean, I've tried, I've tried. I've tried everything. The fact is, I don't think I trust her anymore.
Adam: I'm not going to live my life by Tad Martin's rules, and neither are -- what happened? Oh.
Krystal: I -- I just -- I was clumsy. I don't know.
Adam: Oh, sweetheart, that's -- that's -- no, that's deep. You need stitches.
Krystal: I -- look, I'll go get it checked out as soon as I find somebody to take care of Jenny.
Adam: Yeah, we'll bring Jenny.
Krystal: Adam -- no, Adam, no! Don't -- I mean -- look, there's no need.
Adam: I'm not going to listen to another word. No, you need a doctor. We'll bring Jenny along. That's final. Ah.
[Adam chuckles as he picks up Jenny]
J.R.: I don't know what to tell you, Livia. I don't remember.
Livia: Well, we're just going to keep trying again. I need you to go back to before you blacked out. Do you remember if there was anyone with you when you left The Comeback?
J.R.: I don't remember being with anyone.
[Amanda watches a DVD]
[Cheering]
Man's voice: And we're coming to you live from the arena where Genghis tron is playing their one sold-out area appearance. The concert is about to start and the crowd is getting crazy.
Amanda's voice: J.R., turn that off.
J.R.: Hello. What are you doing over there? Whew.
[J.R. chuckles]
Amanda: What do you think the camera's for? It's November 15, 2007.
J.R.: Yeah, then get a close-up, huh? Come here. Come on.
Amanda: 7:30 p.m.
J.R.: How about a kiss, huh?
Amanda: There will be plenty of time for that.
J.R.: I think the time for it is now.
[Thud]
J.R.: Oh --
Amanda: Later will be better, I promise you. But first, we have to talk.
J.R.: Mm-hmm. Well, if I promise to cuddle up, can we skip to the good stuff?
Amanda: Oh, you are such a bad boy.
J.R.: Well, that's why you're hot for me.
Amanda: The badder you are, the hotter I get.
J.R.: Hmm.
Amanda: So, why don't you tell me every mean, dirty --
J.R.: "Dirty" --
Amanda: Nasty --
J.R.: "Nasty" --
Amanda: Lowdown, evil thing you have ever done.
J.R.: You mean like the time when I ran you over with a car? It was like Amanda in headlights.
[J.R. chuckles]
Amanda: Yeah, and you let Babe take the rap for it?
J.R.: Yeah. That woman just loves me too much. Ah. Women do love me. It's like a curse.
Amanda: Hmm. What about Kendall? She doesn't love you. You almost killed her.
J.R.: Yeah, it was the wrong place, wrong time.
Amanda: Because you were actually trying to kill your wife?
J.R.: This isn't any fun.
Amanda: Oh, no, no, no, it is, it is. It's like -- it's like confession.
J.R.: So, if I confess, will you --
Amanda: Hmm. Oh, yeah.
J.R.: Hmm.
Amanda: We will do whatever you want.
J.R.: Ok, it was an accident. I tried to kill Babe.
Amanda: Way to show the love.
J.R.: I'm going to show you some love.
Amanda: Hey, hey, hey, not yet, big boy. You have not even scratched the surface of your top 10 list. Like when you faked your own kidnapping, you dragged me along for the ride.
J.R.: Because I was mad at my dad. Just wanted to get back at him. But you and I -- we had some good times, huh?
[J.R. chuckles]
Amanda: Except when I thought I was going to die.
J.R.: Uh-huh. It was a minor glitch. It was a brilliant plan, it's just too bad it blew up in my face. It was kind of like that Greenlee gig.
Amanda: What Greenlee gig?
J.R.: Oh -- all I was supposed to do was, you know, dangle some nonexistent embryos in her face. You know, a little blackmail, and she was supposed to take it and pass off the Fusion stock to me. But the beyotch took the pass.
Amanda: You have been a very --
J.R.: Hmm.
Amanda: Very bad boy, J.R.
J.R.: Mm-hmm.
Amanda: You have to be punished.
J.R.: Yes.
Amanda: Now, how are we going to do that?
J.R.: Hmm.
Ryan: Ok, Rachael says she's ok with both kids.
Erica: Ok, well, I'm going to be on my way, then. I have to get back to work. I kept that driver waiting way too long.
Ryan: Ok.
Erica: Bye. Good luck with everything.
Ryan: Ok, thanks.
[Phone rings]
Ryan: Hey, Jonathan. I will meet you there. No, we got to do this, all right? We got to bust Richie before he does his damage, all right? Whatever that is. Ok, I'll see you soon.
Aidan: Well, whoever it was got away, Fonz. What do you make of this, huh? What does it all mean?
[Pounding on door]
Aidan: Don't really get much out of you, do I?
[Pounding]
Aidan: Well, the stranger shows his face. What the hell are you doing here? I told you to stay away.
Kendall: Yeah? Well, this is me telling you to go to hell.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Richie (to Annie): How much do you hate yourself for not killing me when you had the chance?
Ryan (to Jonathan): It finally makes sense. I know what he wants.
Kendall (to Aidan): I'm sticking to your side until we find Zach and Greenlee.
[Tad glares at Adam as he carries Jenny into the ER with Krystal]
