Amanda: Oh, God. J.R. -- no -- oh, God. Oh, my gosh. Ok, ok. Are you ok?
J.R.: Oh --
Amanda: Oh, my God. J.R., are you all right? Here.
J.R.: I'm fine, I'm fine.
Amanda: Where does it hurt? Is anything broken? What did they do to you? What do they want?
[J.R. recalls meeting with the would-be kidnappers]
J.R.: I want to stage a kidnapping.
Amanda: Did they say anything? Why did they hurt you?
Man: How much do I ask for?
J.R.: $100 million.
[Back to the present]
J.R.: He wouldn't hurt me. My father -- he can't be behind this.
Amanda: Did they tell you that?
J.R.: My father hates me, but he -- he doesn't hate me enough to torture me. Ahem.
Greenlee: Doesn't anybody come to work on time? That wasn't Annie or Kendall, was it?
Di: No. Our biggest West Coast distributor is dropping our whole line.
Greenlee: I'll make some calls.
Di: Go ahead. At this rate, we're going to be in the middle of Pine Valley Mall handing out Fusion products.
Greenlee: Oh, don't worry. Things will turn around.
Di: How can you be so sure?
Greenlee: Can't keep a good woman down.
Ryan: Greenlee is suing for custody of my son.
Annie: Ok, let me -- let me take a look at that.
Ryan: Where does she think that she has got the right to go after my son?
Annie: Ok, just don't get worked up yet.
Ryan: I mean, she had the chance, she had the opportunity to be Spike's mother, and she bailed. She bailed on us, on Spike, and on Kendall.
Annie: On you.
Ryan: I mean, what kind of lawyer even told her that she's even got a case?
Annie: You know what? We'll call our own lawyer.
Ryan: You know what's unbelievable is where her sense of entitlement ends and her reality begins.
Annie: You know what? I'll go with you, because Emma is with Rachael and Spike.
Ryan: I mean, I honestly can't even believe this. I cannot believe -- I mean, I can believe it, because it's Greenlee, and she takes everything too far, everything. And she hates to lose, but I mean, come on! What?
Annie: I'm just waiting for you to calm down.
Ryan: How can I possibly calm down? She's going after my son.
Annie: This might be exactly what we hoped for.
Zach: This is not worth the paper it's printed on.
Kendall: Greenlee had someone print these up.
Zach: You pay a lawyer enough money, he'll write anything.
Kendall: Why would she come back if all she was going to do was hurt us?
Zach: She's trying to rattle you. She doesn't have a case here. Don't let her get to you. I can take care of this.
Kendall: No, no, you won't.
Colby: You were here all night?
Sean: Great place. But the room service kind of sucked.
Colby: What's going on?
Sean: Look, haven't you had enough of police stations?
Colby: Sean, this isn't a limo joyride.
Sean: Look, you know the deal. The perp, me, waits to get hauled in front of a judge, ok? Go home. You're not in trouble this time.
Colby: Don't blow me off.
Sean: Colby, you know, you can't do anything here. Ok? Seriously, I'm fine.
Colby: Sean, since when do you deal drugs? Since when do you even do them?
Sean: Look, this is the last place you need to be, ok? Go home to your dad.
Colby: No, answer my question. What's with the Ecstasy?
Sean: It doesn't matter.
Colby: Yes or no -- did you bring the drug to the prom?
Sean: It was in my pocket, right?
Colby: But why?
Alan: Yeah, I'd like to give your nephew a break, Jack, but this isn't his first offense. Possession with intent is a lot more serious. I can't ignore it. The kid's in real trouble.
Jack: If he's proven guilty. I think Sean's arrest was a mistake.
Alan: Yeah, well, I hear that from every parent.
Jack: Yeah, Alan, I know you do. But just every so often, that parent's right.
Colby: You don't even smoke pot. Party pills?
Sean: Colby, just do me a favor -- go home.
Colby: No, Sean, I'm not leaving until I know everything that's going on.
Sean: Colby, listen, listen. The only thing worse than being here is you being here, too. Ok? Just -- if you want to do me a favor, just turn around and walk away.
Julia: Negative. No baby.
Jamie: Are you ok?
Julia: Are you?
Jamie: You're disappointed.
Kathy: Aunt Julia!
Julia: Oh, hey. Honey, what's up, huh? What's up?
Kathy: Does the bunny go in the hole?
Jamie and Julia: Oh.
Jamie: The bunny -- well, two bunny ears go around and through the hole.
Julia: There you go. You're all done. Why don't you go get your backpack, because we got to meet Spike and Emma at the park, right?
[Julia giggles]
Jamie: Maybe this was --
Julia: I don't know how --
Jamie: You go.
Julia: No, you go.
Babe: Good morning. Hi. Is this a bad time?
Amanda: Here. Use this.
[J.R. groans]
Amanda: There you go. Is that better?
J.R.: You're not some sort of naughty nurse, are you?
Amanda: Still not funny.
J.R.: I'm just glad you're ok.
Amanda: Oh --
J.R.: You are ok, right?
Amanda: Don't worry about me, ok? This is nasty, but it might be better to sit on. Here you go.
J.R.: Ah. Look, I'm sorry that you were with me when they grabbed me.
Amanda: It's a good thing. How's your elbow?
J.R.: It's fine. Look, you should be at home. You should be watching a movie. I don't know -- eating breakfast, having dinner -- what time is it?
Amanda: Did you eat anything?
J.R.: Just my own blood. That's about it.
Amanda: We need food down here.
J.R.: When -- when did they nab us? Was it yesterday? Was it -- was it to-- I can't remember since I passed out.
Amanda: You didn't pass out. They beat you unconscious.
J.R.: I've had hangovers that were worse. I'm just more concerned about you.
Amanda: How does that feel?
J.R.: It's better now. I have a favor to ask of you.
Amanda: Anything. Almost anything.
J.R.: Hmm. Little A -- when you get out of here, which you will, tell him that his daddy loved him. And make sure that he doesn't forget me. You tell him that he's the best thing that ever happened to his dad.
Adam: Can I help you?
Seamus: Seamus Wong, Mr. Chandler's V.P. of Operations.
Adam: I am Mr. Chandler.
Seamus: The other one. I'm sorry to disturb you this morning, but I need to see J.R. immediately. Would you mind telling him I'm here?
Adam: I'm not J.R.'s personal secretary.
Seamus: I'm sorry, but it's very important.
Adam: J.R.'s not here.
Seamus: Do you have any idea where he is?
Adam: Not a clue.
Seamus: J.R. scheduled a critical strategy session for first thing this morning. He didn't show, or call.
Adam: Ah. Speaks volumes about his leadership, doesn't it?
Seamus: J.R. is not like that.
Adam: You give a boy a man's job, and sooner or later, he's going to run back to the sandbox.
Seamus: J.R. prepped for this session for weeks.
Adam: Typical. Yeah, self-destruction. It's classic J.R.
Seamus: Step one is complete.
Kendall: You offered Greenlee way more than she deserves.
Zach: What I offered her when --
Kendall: No, Zach, you were all up in her pain. "Search your soul, Greenlee. What will ease your pain, Greenlee? Are you suffering?" Well, then call Dr. Slater. Dr. Slater at your service. You know what will ease her pain? My firstborn child.
Ryan: What good can possibly come out of a court battle?
Annie: If Greenlee's custody action makes it to a hearing, which I highly doubt --
Ryan: But it could.
Annie: If it does, Greenlee will look ridiculous. Maybe that's what she needs.
Ryan: She needs to look foolish?
Annie: Look, I have hated it, but I've started to feel bad for Greenlee. I've started to even understand where she was coming from. But this -- Greenlee has gone way too far. She needs a reality check.
Ryan: Yeah -- what do you think I've been trying to do here?
Annie: From someone not involved. Greenlee will have to explain this ridiculous attempt to get Spike to lawyers, to judges. I mean, maybe when she hears herself speak, it'll knock some sense into her.
Ryan: Or maybe she just needs to be talked down a little bit.
Annie: Ryan, what did you tell Emma when that little girl was teasing her at school?
Ryan: What -- what does this have to do with Greenlee?
Annie: Ignore her. She's looking for a reaction.
Ryan: Ok, Greenlee is looking for more than just a reaction. She's looking to get her whole life back, so --
Annie: Greenlee is just a bully in better shoes -- she's just trying to get your attention.
Ryan: Look, I know how Greenlee gets attention, ok -- you really don't have to tell me about it!
Ryan: I'm sorry. I -- that -- that came out all wrong.
Annie: No, no, no, that -- that came out just right. Who am I to explain Greenlee to you? I'm the new girl on the block, right? Thank you for reminding me how well you know Greenlee.
Ryan: That's honestly not what I meant, ok?
Annie: You want to talk Greenlee down? Go ahead. Because it worked so well last time, right, Ryan? You really set her straight. You know what? Forget about it. Why don't you just go meet her again on the roof?
Ryan: Annie -- Annie --
Zach: All right, you want me to stay away from Greenlee, I'll stay away from her.
Kendall: Good.
Zach: And you do the same.
Kendall: I can't really do that. I work with her.
Zach: Well, work from home until it's blown over.
Kendall: We're kind of in between homes, in case you haven't noticed.
Zach: No, I have noticed. You know what I'll do? I'll set up your office in the new house. It's just going to take me a couple hours.
Kendall: No -- so that she can scare me away from the company that I built and that I ran when she took off, and when people were dying? I don't think so, Zach.
Zach: It has nothing to do with that. I don't want you upset, that's all.
Kendall: Do I look upset?
Zach: Little bit.
Kendall: Whatever -- where's that box for the shoes and --
Zach: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Shh. Thanksgiving, 2005 -- I was there when she washed her hands of you and the baby.
Kendall: I don't want to relive that right now, please.
Zach: Jackson, your mother, Josh, Lily -- they were all there, and they heard her say she wants to have nothing to do with the kid. They're going to testify to that. Now, I need you to relax. Let the movers do what you really can't do so well. And don't listen to Greenlee. Don't even look at her. She'll upset you.
Kendall: I won't let her get to me. Today I will show Greenlee the limits of her power.
Sean: Sorry I screwed up your day.
Jack: Sit down, Sean.
Lt. Perry: You have a few minutes.
Sean: Is my mom too ticked to be here?
Jack: I don't know. I couldn't reach your mom.
Sean: Probably for the best.
Jack: Yeah, maybe. You know, possession with intent -- that's a serious charge.
Sean: No scraping gum for me. Off to the big leagues.
Jack: You think this is a joke? This is no joke. If they decide to charge you as an adult, which they could, they could send you to prison, Sean.
Sean: I'm cool with my punishment.
Jack: Yeah, well, you're a little too cool for my taste.
Sean: What can I say?
Jack: I have the feeling you're not being straight with me. Why is that?
Sean: Look, you're making this way too complicated, Uncle Jack. I screwed up -- end of story.
Jack: You know, Sean, when you came here to Pine Valley, it was because there was something missing in your life, something you lost, I think, when your father died.
Sean: Oh, come on. We're not going there, man.
Jack: And your mother -- she's a dynamic woman, but she couldn't give you what you needed --
Sean: Look, seriously, Uncle Jack, I'm fine.
Jack: To take you into my family. And now I've let you down.
Sean: You've been great.
Jack: No. I haven't been good enough. I've been so wrapped up in my own things that I just -- I -- I haven't been the kind of parent you needed, Sean. I let my brother down, as well.
Sean: Uncle Jack, I'm fine.
Jack: No, you're not fine. If you were "fine," we wouldn't be having this conversation in this place, Sean. I should never have let you move out of the house.
Sean: Look, I offered, remember?
Jack: Is that when this drug thing started? When you moved out?
Sean: No, no!
Jack: Was it when Erica moved out? Is that what started it?
Sean: No, no, it's not that -- all right, look --
Jack: Did this start when you first moved here?
Sean: Oh, come on. I mean, no.
Jack: I mean, seriously, have I been so wrapped up in my own life that I missed this going --
Sean: Look, man, I don't -- I don't do drugs, ok? I don't deal, I don't use -- nothing.
Jack: So where did the Ecstasy come from, Sean?
Sean: I don't know where it came from.
Jack: You want to know something? I believe you. But what I don't understand is why it took me so long to get you to admit that you're innocent.
Sean: Because we can't fight this.
Jack: Why can't we?
Colby: Morning, Dad.
Adam: Oh, hello, sweetheart. Good morning, good morning. You're up bright and early. I thought you might be sleeping in after that ordeal at the police department last night.
[Phone rings]
Adam: Oh. Chandler. Who's this?
Man: Adam Chandler, we have your son.
Adam: Say that again? Who is this?
Man: One of the people holding J.R. Chandler. Tell anyone, and he's dead.
Adam: Of course. And why should I believe you?
Man: Can you afford not to?
Adam: I doubt that you can validate that claim.
Man: We'll be in touch.
Colby: What was that, Dad?
Adam: Oh, just some prank. Silly prank.
Colby: Hmm.
Adam: How are you this morning, sweetheart?
Colby: I just saw Sean, just now.
Adam: You did what?
Colby: I don't think Sean brought the drugs to the prom. He's taking the blame to protect me.
Sean: Look, if my case goes to trial, you're going to need witnesses, right?
Jack: Yes, I would.
Sean: Yeah, and Colby will be one of them.
Jack: Yeah, Sean, I'll put her on the stand to testify that she had no idea about the drugs, that you never mentioned them.
Sean: Right.
Jack: Something along that line.
Sean: Right, and then the D.A. will come on.
Jack: And he'll cross-examine her.
Sean: And try to make her look bad. Which is not going to be hard, Uncle Jack. She's jacked a few cars, crashed a yacht, filed a bogus police report. I mean, before you know it, she starts looking guilty again. He might even try to charge her with possession.
Jack: Sean, you're watching too many cop shows.
Sean: Look, I can't let them do that to Colby. Ok? I won't. So here I am.
Jack: So am I to understand that you plan to take the rap for this girl?
Sean: I can't let her get hurt in this.
Jack: I see. Well, you know what? Your chivalry's admirable, but I can't let you plead "no contest" to a crime you didn't commit.
Colby: Sean really could be innocent.
Adam: Oh. Did he tell you that?
Colby: He didn't have to.
Adam: Sweetheart, don't make a hero out of him. He is a sex-crazed skirt freak who's trying to take advantage of you again. When in his life has he ever protected you from anything? Never. I rest my case.
Sean: You're my lawyer, so we have that whole attorney-client privilege thing.
Jack: Yes, Sean, we do.
Sean: So you can't tell anybody what I said, even though I said I didn't do it.
Jack: No, Sean, I can't, not without your permission.
Sean: Well, you don't have it.
Lt. Perry: Sorry, folks. There's been another delay in the arraignment. The judge won't be available for a while.
Jack: Ok. Can I have Sean released in my custody?
Lt. Perry: Back to the holding cell.
Jack: Oh, come on, this is ridiculous, Perry, you know that.
Sean: No, it's cool. It's cool.
Jack: Sean, wait a second. You only have until this arraignment to get your head right about all this.
Sean: Game on, Uncle Jack.
Jack: Yeah, "game on." You know what? You do this, you're going to be making a mistake that can haunt you for the rest of your life.
Ryan: Jack, did you know that your daughter is losing her mind?
Kendall: Who in the hell does Greenlee think she is? There is no way she's taking my child from me. No way. It's not happening.
Annie: Stop it, Kendall. I know you probably want to rip Greenlee to pieces, but you cannot let her know.
Kendall: Oh, she will know.
Annie: No, she's trying to -- to rock your world -- and Ryan's. Don't let her see it. Don't validate her behavior.
Kendall: Ugh --
Annie: Morning, ladies.
Di: Good morning.
Kendall: Morning. Any news on the music rights?
Di: No, not yet. I'm on with them right now.
Kendall: Ok, well, I'll check the West Coast.
Greenlee: Something on your mind, ladies?
Kendall: West Coast?
Annie: Point-of-sale reports?
Greenlee: Well, you both seem distracted or upset.
Annie: Upset?
Greenlee: You should just let it out, vent. I mean, for work's sake, of course.
Annie: You know, you're right. I am deeply disturbed. There's no point in denying it. Fusion is in serious trouble. This company may not survive. We've already lost over 30% of our market shares in the 12-to-18 demo, and I'm not really sure what we should do about it. Any ideas, Kendall?
Greenlee: Yes, Kendall, how do you feel?
Kendall: I knew you were capable of going crazy, but this custody suit is certifiable. I am really sorry I underestimated you, but that stops right here, right now.
Greenlee: This is not about --
Kendall: Don't, don't tell me what it's about. Don't tell me anything. You whipped up this custody suit from your own little personal fantasy land.
Greenlee: I have a right to my child.
Annie: Oh. Your child? Wow -- just "wow."
Di: What is going on?
Kendall: Well, Greenlee here, the woman who used to be my best friend -- she's trying to take my son from me.
Greenlee: Oh, "your" son? The same son you didn't want, the same son you conceived for me.
Kendall: Until you left.
Greenlee: Well, I'm back now. By the way, how long did it take you to work on this phony carefree act?
Kendall: I'm just not as creative as you are.
Greenlee: Because you got through all of .4 seconds before you freaked out. Nice work.
Kendall: Maybe you should channel some of your delusions into work.
Greenlee: Is it a delusion that you signed legal papers to be my gestational carrier? Is it a delusion that I was Spike's only intended legal parent?
Kendall: You are not a parent. You walked out!
Annie: Ok, you guys, enough! We still have work to do. This is a company in desperate need of saving, remember?
Greenlee: Well, I still have more to say.
Kendall: Unless you drop this custody suit, I don't have a damn word to say to you unless it's business.
Josh: Hey, Zach, is Kendall here?
Zach: Good morning. No, she left for work.
Josh: Where, to Fusion with Greenlee?
Zach: Not my idea.
Josh: Well, I just came to check up on her, make sure she was holding up all right.
Zach: Yeah, well, she's tough, a lot tougher than she has to be.
Josh: Yeah, well, every time I see Greenlee at the loft, she's either flipped out or miserable.
Zach: That's awful.
Josh: Yeah, well, it's got to be tough coming back here, all your former friends moved on? Doesn't give her an excuse to tear my sister's life apart, though.
Zach: No, it doesn't.
Josh: How is Kendall, really?
Zach: It's gone from bad to worse.
Ryan: It's bad, Jack, really bad. I mean, did you know about this?
Jack: No, Ryan, this is the first I've heard of it.
Ryan: I am not going to let her take my son. I can't.
Jack: Just for the record, I would've advised Greenlee against this, not that she would've listened to me, but --
Ryan: Well, who the hell is she listening to, Jack?
Jack: I don't think she's listening to anybody, Ryan. I think she's in a lot of pain. She's lashing out.
Ryan: Well, then lash out at me. Make my life miserable, you know? But Spike? An innocent child -- I mean, what is with that? You got to reel her in a little bit.
Jack: Oh, really? And how would you suggest I do that?
Ryan: Well, I don't know if you would do this, but I think it would get the point across if you represented me and Kendall against her.
Jack: Wow. Well, Ryan, that's a great idea except for the fact that Greenlee's been hurt enough, I think.
Ryan: Well, hey, I didn't bring this on, Jack.
Jack: Yes, Ryan, you did! "You" are the reason we're here.
Colby: I have never seen Sean do drugs and I have never seen Sean buy them. I don't believe that he would --
Adam: You never -- you didn't know that he was sleeping with that trollop Ava, though, did you?
Colby: Ouch.
Adam: The truth will out -- it always does.
Colby: This isn't about Ava.
Adam: Sweetheart, face the facts. Get your head out of the sand and go on with your life.
Colby: But if he's doing it to protect me --
Adam: Denial is the place where losers hide. Now, you are not a loser.
[Phone rings]
Man: Hello again, Chandler.
Adam: You know, I'm getting tired of this.
Man: Go to your computer. Log on to bigmoneyxyz.com. Password -- "family."
Adam: This is idiocy.
Man: Then it won't matter.
Amanda: No!
J.R.: Oh! Go ahead. Go ahead and do it.
Amanda: No! J.R., don't touch him -- cowards!
Man: We're not afraid.
J.R.: No, Amanda, don't. Don't do it.
Amanda: Animals! You're monsters! Let us go!
[From his home, Adam watches video of his bleeding son being manhandled by the "kidnappers."
Kendall: Zone four.
Di: Down 13%.
Kendall: Great. Six?
Annie: That's 42%.
Greenlee: Well, what's sales doing about it?
Annie: They're churning out incentives.
Kendall: BGKL dropped us and we need them. We desperately need them. If we get the music back for our campaign, then they'll reconsider.
Annie: Yeah, but that's hard to do without Babe.
Di: How about Lacey's?
Annie: They returned the product. Again, they'll reconsider if the music clearances go through.
[Phone rings]
Kendall: Oh, excuse me. It's mine, ladies. Probably my lawyer -- I've got some pesky custody suit to deal with. Nope.
[Phone stops ringing]
Annie: People were really excited about this launch. Now, not so much.
Kendall: Yeah, well, those rights were totally dependent on Babe. Now, we're done.
Annie: Yeah, Babe also had really good relationships with PR and advertisers.
Greenlee: Ok, fine -- it's my fault. I hounded Babe until she quit. You happy now?
Di: Well, I'd be happy now, I mean, if you got Babe back?
Greenlee: And you are -- oh, that's right, not a partner.
Kendall: Well, it's too bad your leadership almost killed our company, partner.
Greenlee: We can still do this.
Annie: With that campaign, with Babe.
Greenlee: Oh, you can't be serious.
Kendall: Maybe if you told Babe you've been a very bad girl, she'd forgive you.
Greenlee: You're crazy! You want me to crawl back to Babe? No way.
Kendall: Let's review the numbers, shall we?
Babe: Wow. You didn't need to show me the whole house. This is amazing.
Julia: Oh, sure I did. It's my pleasure.
Jamie: I'm sorry that I forgot about our study date.
Babe: We can reschedule -- Geometry can definitely wait.
Jamie: No, this is still a --
Julia: No, you know we have --
Jamie: Good time.
Julia: Something to do. Um -- Kathy, come on. Emma and Spike are waiting for us. Come on, baby! That's my girl.
Babe: Bye.
Jamie: So, let's hit the books. Where do you want to start?
Babe: Jamie, what's wrong?
Jamie: Geometry? Well, you know, I always love a good proof.
Babe: Would you rather I left you alone?
Jamie: No, I'm fine.
Babe: Look, I know it's none of my business, but if you want to talk, I --
Jamie: Let's just get started. Ok?
Babe: Ok. You know, J.R.'s out of town, so now would be a good time to stop by if you want to visit Little A. He could use a buddy.
Jamie: Julia thought she was pregnant.
Babe: "Thought she was"?
Jamie: Yeah. She's not -- we just found out.
Babe: And that's bad news?
Jamie: Uh, she's disappointed.
Babe: And you? Is it good news, is it -- is it somewhere in between?
Jamie: Uh, I -- I'm not ready to be a full-on dad, so I'm -- I'm relieved, I guess. I'm -- I'm not happy exactly, but relieved is good. I was freaking out.
Babe: Hmm. Well, aren't you kind of already a dad to Kathy?
Jamie: I think I'm more like a cool uncle -- all of the fun, none of the responsibility.
Babe: You were ready to be a father to Little A.
Jamie: That was different.
Babe: How?
[Phone rings]
Babe: Hello?
Greenlee: Babe. Hi, it's Greenlee.
Babe: And?
Greenlee: I was wondering if you wanted to do lunch.
Babe: Um -- I think not.
Greenlee: All right, Babe, listen. I need to talk to you.
Babe: About what?
Greenlee: The fantastic job you did here at Fusion, the huge void you left.
Babe: You can't clear the music, and you want me to fix it.
Zach: The suit itself is nothing -- it's going to get thrown out right away.
Josh: Yeah, until Greenlee sets off another one of her bombs.
Zach: Mm-hmm. Until little Greenlee finds a reason to get up in the morning, she's going to keep coming after Kendall. She's not going to let up.
Josh: Maybe I can help.
Jack: Ryan, you let Greenlee believe you were dead. She was lost after that, she was sick with grief. And that was your fault, nobody else's. I mean, she had to go through a miscarriage all alone.
Ryan: I didn't know then what I know now.
Jack: So Kendall tries to help her friend by having her late husband's baby for her -- you know what? I mean, if you had walked out on Greenlee, she would've been angry, she would've been upset, but Kendall would never have had your baby.
Ryan: I was in a very bad place, Jack.
Jack: Yeah. Well, not anymore, huh, Ryan? You've got this great life, you know? You've got these beautiful kids -- a boy and a girl -- a wonderful wife, and a great relationship with the mother of your son who used to be my daughter's best friend.
Ryan: But does that justify what Greenlee is doing right now?
Jack: You leave Greenlee and you hit the jackpot. All Greenlee did was love you, and she had her life ripped out from under her. And you have the unmitigated gall to stand there and say she's acting irrationally? How rationally do you think you would act, Ryan, huh, if you were in her place -- you, the man who dealt with his issues by riding his motorcycle off a cliff?
Greenlee: Babe, good to see you.
Babe: My desk is empty.
Greenlee: Well, no one could replace you.
Babe: They couldn't?
Greenlee: Ok, I'm going to cut the bull -- we want you back at Fusion.
Babe: "We"?
Greenlee: Everyone. I want you back, too.
Babe: What's in it for me?
Greenlee: Job satisfaction.
Babe: And?
Greenlee: A 20% raise.
Babe: I was a partner.
Greenlee: How about we cut you a profit-sharing deal?
Babe: 20% on the fall campaign, anything I secured the music for.
Kendall: Ahem -- do it. Ahem.
Greenlee: Deal.
Kendall: If you come back, Greenlee will put her claws away, and you will never have to deal with her if you don't want to.
Annie: Yeah. That's what the interns are for.
Di: Mm-hmm.
Annie: Right?
Babe: A contract?
Greenlee: We'll call our lawyers.
Babe: Deal. And I'm taking back my desk.
Di: Good work.
Annie: Hey! I'm so glad you're back!
Babe: Ooh! I missed you guys.
Jamie: Kathy get to the park ok?
Julia: I left her to a raging swing-set competition.
Jamie: We should talk -- the pregnancy scare.
Julia: "Scare." That about sums it up. Well, scare's over. What else is there to say?
Jack: Sean? You change your mind about the plea?
Sean: Nope.
Jack: It's not too smart.
Lt. Perry: And the judge is waiting.
Colby: Hey, Dad? There's something here for you.
Adam: Ah, yeah. Did you see who delivered this?
Colby: Uh-uh. It was stuck under the door. Why?
Adam: Oh, nothing. It's just -- would you -- would you speak to Lucretia about lunch?
Colby: Hmm, as in what we're having?
Adam: Yeah.
Colby: Sure. I'm starving. Ok.
[Adam opens the envelope and finds his son's bloody monogrammed shirt.]
Adam: Yeah. Oh -- my God. Oh.
Amanda: Oh! Hey.
J.R.: Just tell my son that I love him, please.
Amanda: You are going to be with Little A, soon because we are both getting out of here.
J.R.: Hey. You will.
Amanda: There must be some ransom. Why else would they record us?
J.R.: I don't know -- because they're sick?
Amanda: Look, your dad's going to pay whatever they're asking, and we'll get out of here.
J.R.: I'm not counting on my dad for nothing.
Amanda: He loves you. And in spite of everything, he'll get you back.
J.R.: Yeah. Yeah, we'll have to see about that.
[Looking off to the side, J.R. grins]
Josh: Listen, Greenlee is isolated from the rest of the world, alienated from her former friends. She has no one to talk to.
Zach: And as you can see, I feel horrible about that.
Josh: Well, Zach, maybe I could step in. I could be an ear for Greenlee. She'll feel a little less hostile, she'll feel a little less lonely, she'll lighten up on the world and -- and Kendall.
Zach: Josh, you're not that good.
Josh: Oh, come on. It's worth a try, isn't it?
Zach: Why not?
Kendall: All right? I like the slogan up there.
Annie: I kind of like it on the bottom.
Di: But if we have it on there, we have to change the font, right?
Greenlee: No, let's not change the font -- Babe?
Babe: I agree.
Ryan: Ok.
Kendall: Good, well, then --
Ryan: You, and you. We need to talk.
[Imperiously entering Fusion's office, Ryan points at Kendall and Greenlee]
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Annie: If Kendall feels threatened, this could get bad.
Babe: And when I thought that my baby's life was in danger --
Annie: There was only one way out --
Babe and Annie: Run.
Ryan (to Greenlee): Tell me how I can get you to be part of our family.
Kendall (to Ryan): Oh, no. I'm not negotiating with her.
