Tad: Hey. Do me a big favor -- tell me your guys got a bead on Zarf, because I got nothing. Neither have the police, and Aidan hasn't called with anything, either.
Ryan: What's going on? Zarf come up for air?
Zach: We got another message from the killer.
Ryan: When? To who?
Tad: What's he say?
Zach: He's going for a clean sweep.
Kendall: Wait outside. It'll be ok.
J.R.: I don't need any more lectures on my sins.
Kendall: You're going to listen to what I have to say, or they will have to peel my tire tread-marked body off of your carpet.
J.R.: No, what you came to say is that I'm a miserable, drunken SOB. Who nearly killed you and your unborn son.
Kendall: Stop -- J.R., stop, please, ok? I came here to forgive you -- and don't make it impossible.
Josh: You fall apart, I'll pick up the pieces. Whatever happens, you got me, Bianca.
Erica: Bianca --
Bianca: Mom?
Erica: Oh --
Bianca: What are you doing here?
Erica: Thank God you're all right! Oh. I heard that there was another attack.
Bianca: Oh.
Erica: Oh, my God. Not Kendall?
Josh: Kendall's -- Kendall's fine.
Erica: Well, then -- then was it -- was it Babe?
Babe: Hey -- hey, it's ok, Zoe. Don't be afraid, I'm here.
Zoe: Oh, I can't.
Babe: Hey -- hey, we're going to explain everything to them, and you're not going to do this alone. I'm going to be right there with you. You are innocent, ok? We're going to make them understand.
Zoe: I can't be here when they find out. Please help me. I need to get out. Make me disappear.
Amanda: Ok. Enjoy.
Jonathan: Go home.
Amanda: I'm on the schedule.
Jonathan: We outnumber the patrons. Go home. Del and I can handle this.
Del: Maybe we'll play a little double solitaire.
Jonathan: It's silly for you to be here.
Amanda: I'm not in any danger. Hey -- aren't the drinks ok? No -- oh, ok. I'll make you something else.
Woman: I don't know why we came back. We were here when they took Zarf away. We saw him with that girl before she was found upstairs murdered, too.
Man: Did he really do it? He killed them?
Amanda: No. Zarf didn't kill anybody. Hey, you know, there is a great table back there. Why don't you grab it, and next round's on me.
Singer: I just wanna
Amanda: Well. That was pleasant.
Jonathan: Since when do you spin-doctor for Zarf?
Amanda: I was only --
Jonathan: How do you know whether he murdered Erin or not?
Amanda: Babe said he didn't do it.
Jonathan: "Babe said," yeah? Babe Chandler doesn't know squat.
Josh: Babe is very much alive and well.
Erica: Well, I was told that there was another attack.
Bianca: There was. They, they -- he tried to kill Danielle.
Erica: Oh, that -- that's terrible.
Josh: Terrible that it wasn't Babe, or terrible that it happened at all?
Erica: You know the answer to that.
Josh: Afraid I do.
Bianca: Oh, please. Could we have a truce?
Erica: Josh, I wish Babe no harm.
Josh: Right.
Bianca: You know, Josh was at Dani's when they found her. He saved her life.
Erica: Oh, Josh. I'm very proud of you. And I'm sure that her father -- I'm sure that Derek is so relieved. Ok, so how did this happen?
Bianca: V-tach again. The killer injected it into a plastic soda bottle.
Erica: So the killer just walked right into the chief of police's house?
Josh: Pretty scary, right?
Erica: I'm sure that they have a suspect by now.
Bianca: Yeah, they think it's Zarf.
Erica: Zarf? You mean, that rock star that -- that Babe brought here?
Josh: I helped bring him onboard.
Erica: Yes, but -- but Babe convinced him. I mean, Babe closed the deal. I mean, this is entirely Babe’s fault.
Josh: Look, you want to bash anymore, good-bye.
Erica: Ok. I -- I mean, I guess if -- if the truth is bashing, then you don't want to hear what else she did.
Josh: You're right. Keep it to yourself.
Erica: Fine. Look, I'm just going to deliver the message from her as she requested. "Stay away from Babe. She wants nothing more to do with you. She is very devoted to her husband and her son and her family. She said she wants no part of you." Mission accomplished.
J.R.: Making good on your New Year's resolution? Forgiving the guy who nearly killed you?
Kendall: Hmm -- me and my son.
J.R.: Well, that makes it an even grander gesture -- or a crazier one.
Kendall: Yeah, it's -- it's pretty out there. You were an irresponsible idiot. But you were the idiot who used to be my best friend.
J.R.: Oh, yes, yes, I -- I dimly remember some sort of bonding.
Kendall: When you went out that window and nearly died -- I mean, J.R., what in the hell were you thinking?
J.R.: That I needed to step out for some air?
Kendall: That's not funny.
J.R.: Well, here we are. At least I didn't try to kill you or myself.
Kendall: Babe. Hmm. Oh, everyone's problems always come back to your skanky little wife.
J.R.: Not everyone's problems.
Kendall: Well, you and I almost ended up in ICU because of her.
J.R.: Look, I wasn't an innocent bystander either of the times.
Kendall: Oh, my God -- we -- stop. Don't defend her, please.
J.R.: Look, all I'm trying to say is that I was --
Kendall: No. No. No, no, no, no. You have not -- you can't forgive her, J.R. Please, please, not again! J.R., you know she's going to cheat on you again if you leave yourself wide open like this.
[Kendall sighs]
Kendall: Oh, I don't even know what -- I don't even know what I'm saying. I mean, if my mother and Bianca knew that I was here forgiving you, they would have me committed.
J.R.: When I stepped out for some air -- four stories up -- I don't really remember exactly what happened before I exited.
Kendall: Well, it's probably a blessing.
J.R.: But I do remember telling Bianca that I hated losing both of you as my friends.
Kendall: Did you?
J.R.: We came together, because we were so much alike.
Kendall: We still are, aren't we?
J.R.: Well, I guess if this was the movie of the week, this is where we'd share the embrace.
Kendall: Yeah. Well, I'll -- I'll settle for this.
[When Kendall shakes J.R.’s hand, he pulls her threateningly close.]
J.R.: Since I know you so well, I know that you would never forgive me.
Zach: It's Zarf.
Tad: What do you mean, "it's Zarf"? What's that supposed to be? Would anybody care to share?
Ryan: You haven't told him about the picture?
Tad: What picture?
Ryan: When are you going to figure out that withholding information is not going to keep Kendall safe?
Tad: Oh, God, not again. What picture? Is this something that's going to help us pin this guy down?
Ryan: In Zarf's London place, he had an old magazine clipping of Zach's mother.
Tad: Ok. See? All right. Now we might be getting somewhere.
Zach: Like this one. I showed it to him at the hospital, and he seemed to recognize it.
Tad: What, did -- did he make a comment? Did he give you some kind of excuse?
Zach: No! He's messing with my head.
Tad: Yeah. "Messing with my head." Pop icon comes to Pine Valley to work with Zach's wife, and messes with his head by killing innocent women.
Ryan: Ok, now, you've checked out Zach's past. What about Zarf? What's his connection to the Cambias family?
Tad: That's just it -- there is none.
Zoe: It's over. I'm as good as gone.
Babe: No, you aren't, but you are shivering -- it's freezing out here. What are you doing?
Zoe: Oh, I can't feel it, I can't feel anything.
Babe: It's the fear taking over.
Zoe: I can't feel because I'm dead.
Babe: No, you're not. Do not say that. What -- what is it? Is it -- is it the drugs? Are you afraid they're going to charge you with possession?
Zoe: Wouldn't that be easy -- jail.
Babe: Look, I know that it's not V-tach in those vials. It's just going to prove that you're innocent.
Zoe: Innocent?
Babe: You don't have a record. They're going to give you probation or something.
Zoe: Oh, they won't give me a chance -- any of them. They'll destroy me.
Babe: Ok, why not? What is it? What could actually be so terrible?
Zoe: Me.
Babe: What are you saying? That is ridiculous. You're a rock star. Who would be surprised by anything that they find in your apartment?
Zoe: Oh -- oh, they'll be surprised -- and shocked, and they won't forgive. They'll never forgive.
Babe: What is it? Is it heroin?
Zoe: I can't be here when they find out the results.
Babe: Ok, you need to talk to me. What is it? Why? What is it?
Zoe: My destiny.
Babe: Ok.
Zoe: And then it ends.
Babe: No, it doesn't. No. Look at me. It just proves that you didn't kill anyone.
Zoe: It'll kill me.
Jonathan: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone off on you. I -- my sister's dead, and because this guy is some kind of celebrity, no one's taking it seriously.
Del: Well, until the satin slayer is arrested, maybe you should just try to chill.
Jonathan: "Satin slayer"?
Del: That's what they're calling him on the news.
Singer: I just wanna
Jonathan: That's great. That's real catchy.
Singers: Then you give it all back
Amanda: Maybe it's too soon, Jonathan. You shouldn't be working so close to where it happened.
Del: Amanda's got a point, Jonathan.
Jonathan: I guess.
Amanda: Look, take as much time as you need -- business bites anyway.
Del: It's like Death Valley in here.
Amanda: Awkward moment. Del didn't mean anything.
Jonathan: I know.
Amanda: Look, I hate that I said anything about the crimes to those customers, but it's -- we're all thinking about it.
Del: And stuff is going to come up.
Amanda: Why put yourself in the middle of it?
Jonathan: You're right. You're absolutely right. I don't belong here. I don't belong anywhere where my sister's death is talked about so -- you're right. Not here.
Singers: Wow wow, wow, wow wow wow wow, wow
Babe: You are going to survive this. The only thing that needs to die is this secret, and you need to end it, Zoe. I'll help you.
Zoe: You don't know what they can do with the pain. Oh, the vicious ignorance of this world is killing.
Babe: Yes, and you're stronger. You're a wonderful person.
Zoe: They know Zarf, not me. Ahem. When I tell them that he isn't real, that -- that Zarf and this body are an illusion -- "I'm Zoe, I'm a woman stuck in a man's form" -- they can't understand. And I can't explain, not anymore. Hell, I don't even understand. They'll freak. Freak at the freak. I'm a freak, freak, freak. They'll see a sad, broken freak.
J.R.: Neither of us forgives or forgets. What's with the act?
Kendall: If you know everything, then why'd you have to ask?
J.R.: What, you want me on your side so you can dump Babe from Fusion, get her shares? Drive your brother's tramp out of town?
Kendall: Now, is that any way to talk about your beloved? Unless, of course, you -- you haven't forgiven the skank? Oh, my! Oh -- oh, my goodness, J.R. J.R., let's cue your and Babe’s song -- "Love on the Rocks."
J.R.: You know, our personal life and our song is none of your business.
Kendall: Yeah, I wish it wasn't. But if you're having problems, if there's -- if there's marriage problems, then why don't you just kick her back to her trailer?
Automated voice: Motion detected. Motion detected.
Kendall: It can't be my motion.
J.R.: Hey -- hey, leave -- leave it alone.
Kendall: Oh, well, well, well. What do we have here? Very nice. Hey, that -- that's Josh's room. You're spying on my brother, because your wife's a tramp?
Babe: I won't let anyone say that about you. And I'm not going to let you say it about yourself. You are not a freak. Now, get up off that cold ground before you catch pneumonia.
[Zoe snickers]
Babe: Come on, no one is going to see you. Up. Come on. Don't do this to yourself. Who you are does not change what you've accomplished.
Zoe: Oh. When reality sets in, tell that to the maid in my hotel room who was too disgusted to change my sheets -- or to the waiter who is too afraid to bring me room service. They'll want me torn apart. Oh. There's so much cruelty out there. People feed on it. They mistake it for power and strength, and they need objects to belittle and to tear down, so they can feel big and -- and right and superior. Never mind the hearts they break or the souls they destroy, the freaks they kill --
Babe: Don't. Don't use their words.
Zoe: I thought I knew how to recognize the enemy. I was so sure. How could I have been so wrong about Bianca?
Babe: Hey, she just needs time.
Zoe: Oh. This is unacceptable. This -- this is wrong and disgusting.
Babe: No, no, no, no. What is disgusting is not you -- it's people's ignorance. Tell me who you're hurting -- who? No one, no.
Zoe: My father, my mother. I am a living mockery of what most decent, upstanding people believe in.
Babe: No, what matters is love, not -- not how you love or -- or who you love or even what body you love with.
Zoe: You were a cheerleader, weren't you?
Babe: Oh, you stop. Look, good people will see that, and if they don't, to hell with them.
Zoe: Bianca was good. She didn't see it.
Babe: Bianca didn't mean to hurt you, she was just confused. She is going to get it eventually, I promise.
Zoe: You got it right away.
Babe: Yeah, but I don't overthink things, and it helped that you weren't in love with me.
Zoe: I offered her my heart.
Babe: It just was fast. She didn't know what to think, and she wasn't sure if she could trust.
Zoe: Me, she couldn't trust me.
Babe: What can I say? It's easier being a girlfriend than being a -- girlfriend.
Zoe: We're girlfriends?
Babe: Yes, we are, aren't we? Someone who you can trust, no judgments, no comments, maybe even a manicure and pedicure every once in a while?
Zoe: Oh, I thought I could do this. I was so sure I had the strength to be honest, to -- to show myself. I can't face the world. I mean, I wasn't ready, not for this. And when they find out, I can't --
Babe: Don't talk like that.
Zoe: I'm disappearing right before your eyes. I can feel it. Bianca -- she was just the beginning. I can't survive this.
Babe: You can, and you will, because you're not going to be going at it alone. I am going to be there with you. I want to look out for you, I'm going to protect you, and I'm going to keep you safe. You know that you can trust me, don't you? Let's go.
Josh: So Babe asked you to warn me off her?
Erica: Yes. That's what she wanted me to do. Of course, I told her that I wouldn't do it.
Josh: Well, you just did.
Erica: Well, you needed to know, because it does prove exactly who Babe is. I mean, she said she doesn't care about you.
Josh: Her going to you for help proves how much she really does care.
Bianca: Josh, didn't you hear what she said?
Erica: The woman wants you out of her life, Josh. I mean, she burst into my suite at the Valley Inn. She was ranting.
Bianca: Wait, the Valley Inn? I thought that you were home with Uncle Jack.
Erica: Oh, honey, you know what? One thing at -- at a time. Josh, Babe said that she doesn't care about you.
Josh: She loves me.
Bianca: Josh, I know that that's what you want to believe, but it kind of sounds like she is ready to move on.
Josh: She went to Erica for help -- Erica. Could she be more desperate?
Erica: Excuse me?
Josh: Babe's afraid of what she feels whenever she's around me. She wants me.
Erica: Josh, even if she is drawn to you, she's married. She has a husband, and he's a dangerous husband.
Bianca: That's -- that's right, and she's been very clear to me, too, that she wants to stay married to J.R.
Erica: So your attraction to her -- Josh, it's just such a waste of your time. It's --
Josh: Look, no amount of warnings can change how I feel.
Erica: He needs an intervention.
Josh: Well, Kendall is actually intervening on my behalf as we speak. She's working with me to give me a shot with Babe.
Erica: Is that true?
Bianca: Uh -- I don't know.
Erica: Well, it can't be. I mean, there must be some confusion, so I will straighten Kendall out.
Josh: Yeah, just like you straightened her out with Zach? Face it, Erica -- you're 0 for 2.
Zach: Well, this has to be about me, about my family. If you're connected in some way -- you're the investigator.
Tad: Zach, please don't try to tell me how to do my job! I'm trying to do it! I'm sorry, but in the first place, there is absolutely no way that Zarf could've known your mother. The ages just don't jibe. She died decades ago. That doesn't mean I'm going to stop investigating, ok? I just don't expect to find anything here.
Ryan: I got an idea -- why don't you investigate the thousands of people that Zach screwed over?
Zach: What do you think? You think I want my wife to get hurt? Do you think I want that?
Ryan: Look, what I want -- I want you to figure it out.
Tad: Wait, wait, wait, stop.
Ryan: That's all I want.
Tad: Stop. Please, please? Now, look, Aidan has been looking at this guy Zarf, ok? He was born Freddie Luper in Elkhart, Indiana. So far, we haven't been able to find a single day when any member of the Cambias family was even in the same city or the same state as Freddie, or his mother or his grandparents.
Zach: Innocent people don't run from the police.
Tad: Just because he ran doesn't mean he's guilty of two murders and a near miss.
Zach: What about his drugs and the syringe in his hotel room?
Tad: They could've been his! He wouldn't be the first rock star to dabble in drugs.
Zach: He knew them, Tad. He knew the girls.
Tad: So did a lot of people! That's what I'm trying to tell you. I'm sorry, but so far, Zarf's got about as much motivation as anybody else.
Ryan: Yeah, as far as you know, Tad.
Tad: Yeah, as far as I know! That's right! As far as I know or you know or anybody else, that killer could be any psycho who looked at that advertisement and started to sweat.
Zach: Well, it's not any psycho, is it? It's a psycho who's come after me -- not J.R., not Ryan, me.
Tad: It just might not be Zarf. Seriously, people kill for a lot of reasons, Zach. Sometimes they kill for no reason at all.
Zach: He has a reason. It's only a matter of time before he comes after my wife.
Kendall: Ok, I should smash this into a million pieces right now.
J.R.: Why? Because you don't want proof that your brother's doing my wife?
Kendall: No, because it's an invasion of his privacy.
J.R.: He is invading my wife!
Kendall: Ok, well, he, my brother, saved your miserable life.
J.R.: Oh, yeah, sure, sure. Yeah, he saved my life by giving mouth-to-mouth to Babe.
Kendall: Oh, my God. You don't -- you don't know. You have no idea. Ok. Josh saved your life. When you were lying there on the pavement, he helped you before the paramedics got there, and if he hadn't have done that, we wouldn't even be here having this conversation.
J.R.: Bull.
Kendall: No. I swear to you, ask the EMTs. While you were lying there a bloody mess, he clamped your artery. Why, I will never know -- it's completely beyond me. Yup. Josh is your hero. And Babe is playing your hero. And if you try to do anything to get back at him, so help me God, I will hurt you.
J.R.: Josh can have Babe anytime he wants just as long as I get enough footage to dump her.
Kendall: Ok, J.R., then why wait? Just change the locks. Have -- have Winifred toss out all her sequins and cheap clothes out on the lawn.
J.R.: It has to be legal, aboveboard.
Kendall: "Legal"?
J.R.: I signed over my custody rights to Babe for Little Adam.
Kendall: Oh, my God. Please tell me you were drunk. Either that or you and Babe are the dumbest people on the face of this earth. What in the hell were you thinking?
J.R.: You know what, Kendall? None of this pertains to you at all, so why don't you just get out of here?
Kendall: Does she even know? Does she have any clue that you've been watching her with a hidden camera? I mean, is she --
Babe: Kendall, what are you doing here? What's going on?
Kendall: That's a pretty good question there, Babe. And I have the answer. Poor J.R. -- forced to amuse himself with just a little laptop when his wife runs around town doing whatever with whomever.
Babe: Why are you here bothering J.R.?
Kendall: Oh, you're so strong, protecting your ever loving husband? You want to know how loving he really is?
J.R.: Neither of us would believe a word out of your mouth, Kendall.
Babe: So don't waste your breath.
Kendall: Are you afraid, Babe? Because I came here to warn J.R. See, your wife has a really low IQ and zero common sense. She's spending all of her free time with a homicidal maniac. It's not you this time. Her new best friend is Zarf.
Tad: Whether Zarf is guilty or not, if you two stay at each other's throats, there's a damn good chance we are going to fail Kendall, and Babe and Dani.
Zach: So we have an idea -- let's hear it.
Tad: Yeah. For one thing, I'd like to know what happened at the police station, and this time, do me a favor --
Zach: I --
Tad: No. Don't leave anything out.
Ryan: After Derek showed us the picture of Zach's mother, he showed us an entire file, a file of other women.
Zach: Magazines, Internet, whatever. I don't know.
Tad: Well, were any of them of the Fusion women?
Zach: No.
Ryan: No, but maybe some other victims.
Tad: No, see that doesn't match -- that's what I'm trying to tell you. Look, while Aidan was checking out Zarf, I was looking at the killer's MO, ok? I'm talking about the V-tach, the gardenias, the ribbon -- everything. I didn't get a single hit.
Zach: Oh, ok, so we don't know anything. Could be anybody, right, anybody on this planet? Perfect.
Ryan: So what was up with that little drug kit? What about that?
Tad: Like I was saying, I was starting to say, it could be for his recreational use, what then?
Ryan: I just want the guy behind bars, that's all.
Zach: So do I.
Tad: Wrong. Wrong. Need I remind you, of all people, even if you get a suspect behind bars, even one with a confession, it doesn't necessarily mean bubkes. Now are you starting to see the other side?
Ryan: So, what are you saying we should do -- just sit back and wait for another woman to die, Tad? Is that what --
Zach: Kendall to die.
Tad: No. I am saying we want as many suspects in jail as possible, because God forbid we drop our guard for Zarf or anybody else and another murder proves us wrong.
Babe: Kendall's obviously trying to cause trouble.
Kendall: Sitting here glued to your laptop, you must have missed the local news. Zarf has become the number one suspect in the Fusion murders.
J.R.: Since when?
Kendall: Babe, don't you talk to your husband about your close friends? It's ok, J.R. Don't -- don't take it personally. She's so used to helping out murderers, I'm sure she -- you know, it's a bad habit, it's hard to break.
Babe: Zarf didn't kill anyone.
J.R.: Wait, he walked into this house, he harassed me. Now -- now you're telling me that he's up for murder?
Babe: He didn't do it, J.R.
J.R.: No, no, forget about how weird he is. Don't you bother to think about our son?
Kendall: He didn't go anywhere near Little A.
J.R.: Was he?
Babe: No! He didn't, but it wouldn't matter if he did anyway.
J.R.: It would matter to me!
Babe: It wouldn't matter, because Zarf is extremely gentle.
Kendall: Oh, yeah, which is why he busted through the hospital --
Babe: Oh.
Kendall: Knocked a gurney into Chief Frye, and then took off.
Babe: If you think you've caused enough trouble, you can go now.
J.R.: Kendall came by to forgive me.
Babe: Oh, huh.
J.R.: I'd like to hear her out.
Kendall: I won't take long.
Babe: Why don't I believe that?
J.R.: I'll deal with it, Babe. Don't worry about it.
Babe: Ok. I'll be back soon to check on you.
Kendall: I can -- I could lean over and back up, so you can show me your gratitude by kissing me where it counts.
J.R.: I’ll pass on that.
Kendall: I could've ratted you out to Babe. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
J.R.: You're supposed to come over here and score Babe for Josh.
Babe: At least you won't be cold.
Zoe: They’ll turn against you for helping me. Oh they'll think you're a freak, too.
Babe: Then they'll be wrong about both of us.
Josh: You are so wrong if you think you can come between me and Babe. You're delusional.
Erica: Josh, it's -- it's what Babe said she wants. Bianca, please don't just stand here.
Bianca: Look, you know, a couple of minutes ago, you came in here freaking out, because I could be at death's door, and then it was "Oh, my gosh. Is it -- is it Kendall?" Now, Josh's love life is a matter of life and death?
Erica: Well, I care for all my children. Josh, you're just letting yourself in for so much more suffering.
Josh: Look, the Babe I know is -- is a caring, loyal, giving woman, someone who helped me and supported me when I didn't have any friends. After Greg Madden died, I could've easily slipped over the edge. She was the only thing that kept me going.
Erica: Look, Josh, of course, she'd be nice to you. You're a catch.
Josh: More than just "nice."
Erica: Well, please don't tell me all the details.
Josh: Babe accepted what was happening to me without judgments. She reached out to me without expecting anything in return. Sure -- Babe doesn't care about what anyone else thinks or about her personal risk. If you're her friend, it's till the end.
Bianca: Zarf. That's where he is.
[Glass breaks]
Del: Whoa! Clean up, aisle three. Don't even. All I need is you severing an artery.
Amanda: I didn't even see it.
Del: You know, I get why he's so upset, but I don't get why he's got you destroying glassware.
Amanda: He's a friend.
Del: He doesn't love you, Amanda, but you're suffering for him. It's a waste. His ulcers should not be your ulcers. Man, you are like steel. Let me just try to fix this.
Amanda: You're not getting out of restocking the bar. Get to it.
Del: I'm only trying to help.
[Alone at the boathouse, Jonathan angrily kicks a bench and grunts loudly.]
J.R.: You know, it's funny. It's grotesque, but it's slightly amusing -- you playing matchmaker with Babe and Josh, when all you really love to do is keep them apart.
Kendall: Hmm. Uh-uh. See, you have this all wrong.
J.R.: No, we're a lot alike -- remember? You need me. If you weren't after something, you would've told Babe about the slut-cam scam.
Kendall: Why would I cause trouble?
J.R.: Because you’re breathing, and Josh must want Babe real bad.
Kendall: Yeah, it's grotesque but true.
J.R.: Well, he can have her as soon as I get legal custody of my son.
Kendall: Well, maybe by then, he will come to his senses. Ahem.
J.R.: Well, it shouldn't take that long -- us working together.
Kendall: Excuse me?
J.R.: Oh, come on, Kendall. Just like old times. You miss it, right? When I did you, you did me -- mutual gratification.
Erica: Kendall helping Josh land Babe? I don't believe that. I -- I'm sure there's much more to it than that.
Bianca: Oh. Mom, this is so unimportant.
Erica: Your brother's life --
Bianca: Is not at risk. Who cares if he and Babe hook up?
Erica: You did not just say that.
Bianca: You know, Paris was miserable, but not like this -- not dangerous. What is happening to the world?
Erica: Oh, Bianca.
Bianca: I'm going home. I am going to give Claire the rest of the night off. I'm going to watch my daughter go to sleep.
Erica: I'm going to come with you.
Bianca: Mom, thank you, but I really need some time alone. Ok?
[As Erica backs up to the door, someone grabs her from behind.]
Man: You're not on the approved list. I don't care who you are.
Bianca: Brendan, what's the problem? Maggie.
Jonathan: Ah! Oh! Oh!
[Jonathan smashes stuff around the boathouse then sees Lily approaching.]
Jonathan: Lily.
Lily: How did it happen?
Jonathan: What? What -- what happened?
Lily: You're the old Jonathan again.
Ryan: Now you've known this was personal from the moment that Simone died --
Tad: Come on, Ryan, this --
Ryan: The moment --
Tad: Isn't solving anything.
Zach: Take a shot at me. That'd be helpful, that'd help.
Ryan: The only way you can help is getting your wife out of Pine Valley.
Zach: You don't think I tried doing that? She doesn't want to go. She wants to stay with me.
Ryan: Well, then why don't you tell her if she wants to be alive for her son's first day of school, she should get out now?
Tad: Is it possible we could redirect all of this energy towards solving the problem? Babe had an idea. What happens if the gardenia was just some kind of diversion? The killer did it to confuse us on purpose. Now, that ribbon was readily available at Fusion. It was part of their advertising. What happens if the whole signature is nothing but a piece of random flash?
Zach: He thinks I killed her.
Tad: "Killed her"? "Her" who?
Zach: Flowers and the ribbons.
Ryan: Your mother?
Tad: Someone thinks that you killed your mother?
Young Zach: I didn't do it. I didn't do it!
Zach: I didn't do it.
J.R.: Come on. You don't need this much time. You're a smart girl. Work with me.
Kendall: Ok, fine. You have a deal.
Josh: Where is she? Where's Babe?
Kendall: What -- what are you doing here?
J.R.: This wasn't part of the deal. What is this, tag team?
Josh: Is she here?
J.R.: Yeah, but if you were smart, you'd leave my house.
Josh: Where is she? Who's with her?
J.R.: She's upstairs with her bodyguard and my son, which is none of your business.
Josh: She's not upstairs. She's not safe, not with him.
J.R.: Look, Babe is my wife, Josh. I take care of her -- hey, where are you going? Hey, what are you doing? Hey, get back here!
[Josh goes searching through the Chandler Mansion tunnel and finds Babe with Zoe.]
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Maggie (to Babe): I want you back. I made the biggest mistake of my life walking out on you. Will you please forgive me?
Zoe (to Derek): Tell you what's in those vials -- it's V-tach. I drugged those women. I killed them, and if you don't lock me up right now, I'll kill again.
