Jamie: I'm not in the mood, Amanda.

Amanda: Yeah, how could you be after how I acted last night? I heard you say it a million times -- what we have between us is for fun, no strings, no drama. So why I had to get all pushy and controlling is beyond me. Anyway, look, here's me swearing off all strings. And since these go to my bikini, no strings could be super fun.

J.R.: Why don't you take your trashy piece of bottom floss, get the hell out of my brother's face.

Babe: What is the big deal? Half of Pine Valley already knows that Di Kirby and Dixie Martin are one and the same. Is it my fault that Zach Slater got left out of the loop?

Krystal: Yeah. He came sniffing around me, too, asking me the same questions he's asking you. I kept my mouth shut.

Babe: Why?

Krystal: Well, it just -- it creeped me out. That guy is after something big and ugly.

Babe: All the more reason I should know what's going on. This woman is raising my son, Mama. I should know who she is, really. And, yeah, I didn't give a rat's tush about Zach Slater, but if he can nail Dixie and rock J.R.’s world, Zach is my new best friend.

Tad: You were right. It's the green one.

Aidan: See?

Zach: Gentlemen. Wow. I need you to find somebody for me.

Tad: Aidan, how much is that new wide-screen you were thinking about buying for the office?

Aidan: 10 grand.

Tad: Ok. Retainer is 10 grand.

Aidan: Expenses, per diem. Hazard, pay extra.

Zach: Done.

Tad: Well, that was easy.

Aidan: Should've thrown in surround sound, too.

Zach: Done.

Tad: Well, you must really want to find this person. Does he have a name?

Zach: She.

Tad: Does she have a name?

Zach: Di Kirby.

Del: Hi.

Di: I lied to you yesterday, Del. I am in danger.

Del: Ok. I meant it when I said I want to be a real brother to you, Di.

Di: No -- "Dixie." You promised not to call me Di anymore.

Del: Right, right. That's right, sorry. Look, you can trust me, Dixie. Ok? Just tell me who you're mixed up with, what you're mixed up in, and I'll help you if I can.

Di: You're not the only one who knows I'm not Dixie. You know the guys who came to see you, paid you a visit in New York? The upstanding suit-type guys? Well, there's a lot more where those came from, each one scarier than the next.

Del: Well, now they've found you. And they're sending you bouquets of lizards. What comes next?

Di: You know what, I can handle the rest myself. But now someone else is in danger, and I can help if I tell the truth. Del, I'm -- I'm about to lose everything.

Tad: Aidan, do me a favor. Start to compile a list of our best people to put on Mr. Slater's case.

Aidan: Oh, I was going to shop for the TV, but ok.

Tad: Yeah. Um -- Di Kirby. Di Kirby. Ok, give me a minute. Uh -- paper -- last known address.

Zach: State penitentiary.

Tad: Oh. Naughty girl, huh? So, do you have any idea what this Di Kirby looks like?

Tad: Whoa. Not exactly a beagle, is she? So, is there any specific reason that you're trying to find this Ms. Kirby other than the fact that she looks like that?

Zach: I'm planning to make her an offer she'd be wise not to refuse.

Di: Do you see why this is tearing me up? If I don't say what I know about Kevin and his friends, then I put the life of Julia Santos on the line.

Del: Maria Santos' sister. That's who you'd be protecting?

Di: The same guys that want to keep me quiet, they're after her.

Del: That's why Wildwind was shot up.

Di: Yeah, that's their style, these guys. Take no prisoners. Shoot now, ask questions later, or don't ask questions at all.

Del: And you're seriously considering naming these maniacs?

Di: One name. That's all it would take. I mean, I don't -- I don't want to do this, but I -- what else -- what else do I do? Just look the other way? Maybe watch a woman die?

Del: A woman could die anyway -- you.

Di: I mean, I sent a message to them saying that I wouldn't talk, that I would never reveal what I knew.

Del: And you don't think you should just keep your word?

Di: I just want out of it. All of this, man. But I never had anything waiting for me, and now I do, Del. I have walked into a dream life -- J.R., Little Adam. Especially Tad.

Del: They love Dixie.

Di: They love me. Me. I'm surrounded by the love. I'm swimming in it. That's why I have to hang on to this life with everything I've got, with my hands, my feet, my teeth.

Del: Right. Then grab away and don't let go. Who's to say your coming clean is going to help protect Julia? If you rat these guys out, the only thing guaranteed is that you get bumped from the watch-her list to the get-her list.

Di: I could not only lose my life as Dixie, I could lose my life altogether.

Babe: I can't count on Dixie’s life crashing down to help my plan. But I will get my son back, so I have to focus.

Krystal: Your plan makes me queasy every time I think about it.

Babe: I have to bite my tongue every time I see J.R. So having him fall in love with me and marrying him again -- I'm not exactly doing a one-woman wave over here.

Krystal: It's not just the getting-him-back part that's eating at me. It's what comes next -- you living in that creepy crypt with Adam picking on you all the time and J.R. watching your every move, never quite trusting you the same.

Babe: And I would put up with all of that in a heartbeat for Little A. Think about it, Mama. We'll be able to see him whenever we want. Right now I've got a time clock on every second with my baby. I'll just have to keep repeating to myself that it won't be forever. And after a big, horrible, messy tabloid divorce, I will get custody of my son again. He's worth marrying J.R. a million times over.

Krystal: Babe, honey, are you sure you're not rushing into this just to get over things?

Babe: This isn't about Jamie, Mama. I did right by him. And now it's time to do right by Little A, whatever it takes.

Krystal: Even teaming up with another potential snake -- Zach.

Babe: Anything that turns J.R. against his mama is a bonus, no doubt. He'd be vulnerable and needy and hurt. But no matter what, I'm going to have to go on with my plan. I'm going to have to convince J.R. he's my long-lost love.

Krystal: Oh, that is not going to be easy.

Babe: Well, I already dropped some hints, and I think he was picking up on it.

Krystal: Well, you know what? As much as I cannot stand that twerp, J.R. is a pretty smart man. Now, you getting to him is not going to be as easy as you think.

Babe: Well, I'm not going to stop until I've done it. J.R. has already cost me Jamie. There's no way he's keeping my son.

J.R.: Well, you're still here. I'd spell "get lost," but I don't think they teach the ABCs at tramp school.

Jamie: You can't help yourself, can you? I got my Aunt Phoebe's money, I'm back at school, Babe is history, but here you are, still trying to run my life. God, you're pathetic.

J.R.: Oh, don't tell me you're actually buying the smut she's selling.

Jamie: Oh, it must be the way she markets it. Looks like a good deal to me.

Amanda: Careful, Jamie. Haven't you heard? I'm just a ho hardy for cash who's trying to get into your bed and your bank account.

Jamie: You're not after me for my money?

Amanda: As much as you're after mine.

Jamie: At least we're on the same page.

J.R.: Oh, that is so cute, so funny. Just remember what happened last time you picked up my leftovers. You're about to make the same mistake twice.

Myrtle: Oh, darling, you look gorgeous, just gorgeous.

Danielle: Oh. Does it come with four-wheel drive and a disc changer?

Myrtle: Well, your stepfather-to-be said to give you whatever you wanted and the sky was the limit. Now, don't blame me if you've got perfect taste.

Danielle: I like the way you think, Mrs. Fargate.

Mimi: Myrtle? Is the zipper supposed to be in the front or the back?

Myrtle: Oh, I'll be right with you. Different dresses, different ages, different people.

Danielle: Mrs. Fargate? Mom? I need help with my zipper.

[Uncomfortable, Danielle pulls away after Garret walks into the dressing room and zips her up.]

Garret: Hope I didn't startle you, Dani. You look gorgeous. That dress fits you like a queen.

Danielle: Yeah, it's a bit much to blow on something I'll never wear again.

Garret: Don't think twice about the price. You look beautiful. That's what matters.

Danielle: I want my mom to see it before I decide, though. I think I'll go show her.

Garret: Well, you know, I've been thinking a lot about our talk, and I'm really glad that you felt comfortable enough to come clean about your feelings for me. I hope you and your mother will always be that open with me, tell me whatever's troubling you, no matter what. Because I'll never tell anyone your secrets, Dani. You can count on me.

Danielle: There is one secret I think my mother should know about, and that's your feelings for me.

Di: Dixie would tell the truth. She wouldn't be as selfish as I am.

Del: Keep your mouth shut. It's not selfish. It's survival instinct.

Di: Del, it doesn't feel right just sitting back and doing nothing.

Del: Well, do you think if you talk it's going to help put Sturgess and whoever he's working with away?

Di: No, it won't get them one step closer to the pen. These guys are very well connected and even more powerful.

Del: Yeah. So if they can't be stopped, how are you going to be doing Julia a lick of good?

Di: Tad said any information I know might help. Honestly, I don't know, Del.

Del: Well, do you care about Tad?

Di: I think I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. And the way he looked at me when he first saw me up by the waterfall, I actually melted.

Del: Oh, melted is good. Motionless is bad. If you talk, your heart could stop forever. Drag Tad into it, he becomes a target. There's nothing left to think about, Dixie. Get on with the life that you love so much and don't look back. It's too dicey.

Di: I can't make a decision here, not with J.R. and Little Adam and everyone that I could lose so close. I have to take a drive, get some air.

Del: I'll come with you, ok? I can think of 101 more reasons why you shouldn't say a word about what you know.

Di: I appreciate you wanting to help. But I have to do this one on my own. This could be the biggest decision of my life, of Dixie’s. It could take away every bit of good that I've done for this family, make it even worse.

J.R.: You know, I really wanted to believe that you weren't this waste of space that you come off as, James. You were just gifted the chance of a lifetime -- money, career, freedom -- and here you are blowing it on some dizzy piece of trash.

Jamie: Who's so good in bed you couldn't pass her up either. It's funny how all the women we share end up hating you and sticking with me. Why is that, Amanda?

Amanda: Oh, now, Jamie, you know I am much too much of a lady to compare lovers. Let's just say sometimes once is enough, and sometimes you just want more.

Jamie: Wow.

J.R.: This is the last time I save your sorry butt.

Amanda: He's gone. Is this the part where you write me off the way you did Babe?

Babe: Hey! Is that my handsome boy? It is.

Winifred: Yes.

Babe: Come here! Oh, hi. I missed you so -- oh, you have no shoes. Those are not -- look who's here, it's Daddy. Isn't that great? That's great, huh?

J.R.: Hi. Winifred, take my son back inside the house. Babe's early. No visitation till the social worker arrives.

Winifred: I'm sorry, Mr. Chandler. I -- I thought since you let it happen before without the social worker --

Babe: Winnie, it's -- it's ok. I'll see you later, sweet pea, ok? Ok. Mama loves you, oh, sleepy boy. Here you go.

Winifred: Come here, baby. Oh.

Babe: Bye.

Winifred: Ok.

Babe: Can I talk to you for a minute?

J.R.: Forget it. You're the one person who can make my day worse.

Babe: I wouldn't bring it up, but I just can't help myself.

Jamie: Sticking it to J.R. and sticking it to Babe -- two different things.

Amanda: And I chose the wrong person to torment. You're a good guy, Jamie. I like that. Total turn-on.

Jamie: Paint drying turns you on, Amanda.

Amanda: Yeah. Depends on what part of the body the paint's drying. All action, no talk -- that's me, at least it should be. Most of the time I open my mouth and screw something up. You know, I think that Lily Montgomery has better communication skills than I do.

Jamie: That's a pretty low blow, but it proves your point. Do you get off on putting people down?

Amanda: No, I just -- I can't resist going for the easy target, the obvious lie. It's what I do best -- oh, except --

Jamie: I am not into lies, and I'm not into putting people down. Now, I've told you what I wanted straight-up. I'll give you one more chance to get it right -- no strings, nothing but a good time, minus the lies. You in?

Amanda: Way in.

Garret: Mimi knows everything about my feelings for you. I like you. I don't have to keep that a secret. I never have.

Danielle: You know that's not what I mean.

Garret: Well, it must be, because those are my only feelings for you. I mean, I thought I was lucky when I met your mother, but now with you in my life, it's -- it's an honest-to-goodness blessing. Now, I hope we'll always be close, Dani. Your mother hopes so, too.

Danielle: That's just it. I don't think we are that close.

Garret: Well, I know our relationship was rocky at first, but it means everything to your mother and me that we're forming a bond, even if you don't feel like it's a strong one.

Danielle: It just doesn't feel right to me -- the way you look at me, the way you act.

[Mimi walks in.]

Garret: Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. Why don't you tell your mother what you just told me?

Di: Krystal, I know this is strange.

Krystal: Something tells me it's about to get stranger.

Di: If I weren't in the picture, do you think -- could you and Tad be happy together?

Krystal: Oh. Wow. Sure is funny how things have changed. No, it wasn't too long ago you and I were locked up together, playing cards, talking trash about our lives. Oh, wait a minute, now. We were just talking about my life. You never spilled a bean about yours, Dixie. Even when Tad came to visit me, the love of your life -- not a word.

Di: Can I have an answer?

Krystal: Well, it's a doozy of a question. Do I have a shot against Dixie Cooney Martin for Tad's heart? Only if you're not who you say you are.

Tad: [Italian accent] Yeah. Is the richest kind. [Normal voice] So, what exactly is this offer you intend to make?

Zach: Well, that's between Miss Kirby and me.

Tad: Zach, come on. If I'm going to be working for you, I think I deserve a hint.

Zach: Julia Santos.

Tad: Julia Santos. This would be the Julia Santos that just cut out on the witness protection program, somehow ended up with you as a new bodyguard.

Zach: That wasn't in the paper.

Tad: No, but I got friends in high places, some of them are cops. Speaking of which, why did you get involved at all? Why don't you just let them do their job?

Zach: I've heard so much about your famous sense of humor. And other than the way you've decorated your office, this is the first time you've made me smile. The Feds and the cops are the ones that allowed Noah to get killed. And I'm going to make sure that that doesn't happen to Julia Santos.

Tad: Well, you are a generous man. So, what does any of this have to do with this Di Kirby?

Zach: Well, it's about Di Kirby’s lover, Kevin Sturgess. She did time for him. And apparently, he must've been the love of her life --

Tad: Huh?

Zach: Or some secret or both. He's in Thailand now, living large.

Tad: Thailand? Whoa, hey, now you're talking. I would love to take a vacation on your dime --

Zach: I don't think that's necessary. I don't think Di’s all the way in Thailand. There's other people looking for her, but I don't know how long it's going to take before they know what I know.

Tad: Oh.

Zach: And what you know. Di Kirby is right here in Pine Valley. Di, Dixie -- your ex-wife.

Di: Krystal, I took a DNA test -- three of them. You were there. You heard the results. I thought we'd put this all to rest.

Krystal: Yeah, you know what? A DNA test is one thing, but looking somebody straight in the eye and seeing what's there -- that's another.

Di: My eyes are the only thing that I -- I can look at in the mirror and still recognize. They're all that's left of the old Dixie -- that's what connects me to my past. And you didn't know me before, but if you look into these eyes now, all you're going to see is a deep down love for my family.

Krystal: No, I'm pretty sure I'm seeing something else. You're toting around a guilty conscience, Dixie.

Di: Yeah, I don't deny that. When I came back to Pine Valley, I uprooted everyone, you included. That's a lot to live with.

Krystal: Oh, come on, that's old news. You're here now, you're back from the dead, and you're not going anywhere from what I hear. If you love Tad and you want to be with him, then be with him! It doesn't make any sense you coming over here and rehashing yesterday's gossip.

Di: Well, I'm not sure that you and him are such an old thing of the past. I mean, if I hadn't come back, Krystal, you and him would probably be married right now.

Krystal: I am not laying any claim on Tad. No, you've got that pretty well sewn up, Dixie, if you are Dixie. But whether you are or whether you're not, it does not make any sense, you coming over here.

Di: You know, Krystal, you picked up a real skill in prison -- the art of avoiding a straight answer.

Krystal: Well, how's this for an answer? Short of you breaking Tad's heart for the umpteenth time, I don't have a chance of getting him back. You know, the trouble is even if you -- if you do break his heart, there's not going to be much left of his heart to put back together anyway. So if you have plans to cut and run and leave him all over again, you better be damn sure you do it sooner rather than later if you want him to survive at all.

Zach: It's Dixie Cooney Chandler Martin, Di Kirby. Different names but the same woman. Well, you know that and you have known that. And you've been protecting her at Julia's expense.

Tad: As usual, you don't even have a clue.

Zach: I'm not in the clue business, you are. And you've been sitting on them to protect your ex. Now, you and I both know that Dixie can help us protect Julia. Does that pull at you even just a little bit?

Tad: Don't. Don't play the loyalty card with me.

Zach: Look at you, hiding the truth, so you can hold on to the woman you love. That's a page out of my book.

Tad: No, not even close. See, I just got an e-mail from Maria yesterday. She's happy out there, doesn't have any regrets for leaving, not one.

Zach: Well, when you write back to her, why don't you tell her if her sister gets killed, it's on your head.

Mimi: Well, honey, I mean, if there's something you want to tell me, don't hold back.

Danielle: I -- I like this dress.

Mimi: Oh, baby, I'm so happy you said that. I was thinking you were going to say you hated the dress, and here I was thinking how gorgeous you look in it.

Garret: That's exactly what I said. The dress looks like it was made for her, doesn't it?

Mimi: Oh. I mean, how many grooms help choose a bridesmaid dress? Did I hit the jackpot or what?

Danielle: Mom, I like this dress, but something doesn't feel right. Can you see what I mean? Something's off, way off, even though it's not obvious at first.

Mimi: Well, let me see. Um --

Garret: You know, it's just because you're not used to wearing anything this nice. You said so yourself. But you deserve it, Dani, and I want you to have it. I want you to have whatever your heart desires. You got used to it. She'll get used to it, too.

Mimi: Will you look at this family? This is always how I wanted my life to be. I mean, work doesn't matter when I have the two of you.

J.R.: We have nothing to discuss. Even if it was about Little Adam, I don't want to hear it.

Babe: It's about preschool.

J.R.: You decided to get an education! Congratulations.

Babe: It's not for me. It's for Little Adam. I thought maybe we should talk about where we want to enroll him.

J.R.: Well, that's none of your business, really. I have sole custody of our son. You'll never see the inside of his preschool.

Babe: And if our son doesn't get an education from someone other than you, he's going to end up being the kid everyone stuffs in a locker.

J.R.: Would you look at that? Social worker's not here. Looks like it's time for you to beat it!

Babe: I'll wait for her. You know, we really should talk for our boy.

J.R.: I have a better idea. How about you hightail it up to BJ’s? I'm sure you catch Jamie sharing his bacon with Amanda.

Babe: Jamie and Amanda are so played out. Besides, there's only one man for me. Always was, always will be.

Jamie: All right, I got a question. How did you go from sucking up to J.R. to sleeping with him and then latching on to me?

Amanda: Hmm. I'd do all that and more to avoid going home. You want to try me?

Jamie: No, but I do want to know why. I mean, what's so bad at home that you'd sleep with J.R. to avoid it?

Amanda: Nothing's bad at home. It's 100% fun, and a girl can only take so much fun.

Jamie: Wow, it is a shame that I left my BS detector at home. I'd have blasted you hard for that one.

Amanda: All right. I can do real, Jamie. Check it. I didn't want to go home, because my mom can't take a breath without seeing my face, and I didn't want to stay with her a second longer, or I would've lost my mind and shot up a house like one of those lunatics did to Wildwind. Now where's your BS detector?

Jamie: I actually think you're telling me the truth.

Amanda: Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom. That's just this morning's incoming calls.

Jamie: You've used the "mom" thing to work me before.

Amanda: Yeah, it comes in handy when I'm looking for something. Doesn't mean it's not true. Oh, thanks.

Jamie: Don't you have people looking out for her, including your dad?

Amanda: As if that matters. I should be with her. Every day I have to tell her, "No, Mom, I'm not coming home, but I love you to pieces, I swear."

Jamie: You do love her, don't you? I can hear it in your voice.

Amanda: It's hard to imagine someone loving Janet From Another Planet, right, even if it's her own daughter? It's pretty sad. But I do love her, crazy as she is.

Jamie: So what's wrong with her loving you back?

Amanda: Ugh, it's beyond that. Since the day I was born, I have been the center of her universe. You know, I think she tells me 50 times a day that everything she does is for me.

Jamie: Wow. Talk about pressure.

Amanda: Yeah, especially when she's done some pretty horrible things, you know, even on my scale. But that is the card that life dealt me, and I have to deal back. It's just easier to deal from a distance, you know.

Jamie: So you're never going back?

Amanda: Never? Who thinks that far ahead? Not me. I'm not going back today, that's all I know. She'd swallow me up again. So now you know. I am so much more than a ho hard for cash. I'm also a horrible daughter and a terrible person.

J.R.: Ok. I'm bored enough to ask. Who's the love of your life this week?

Babe: Right on cue, munchkin. The one and only love of my life. Hi.

Winifred: Mr. Chandler, the social worker called, and she's running very late, sir.

Babe: Yeah. I'll come back tomorrow or the next day, or whenever she can come and give me my time.

J.R.: Give Little Adam to Babe, Winifred. I'll stay and supervise until the social worker arrives.

Winifred: That's a good boy.

Babe: Hi, my boy! What you doing? So, I have a question. What were you doing while Mommy was missing you? Huh? Were you playing hide-and-seek? Is that it maybe? Peekaboo! I see you! Peekaboo! I almost forgot -- Mommy bought you a new toy. Would you mind if I took him out to the car to get the toy?

J.R.: Yeah, of course I'd mind if the babynapper wants to walk out with my son! Go get the toy yourself and come back.

Babe: Ok. Ok. I'll be right back.

J.R.: Come here, buddy.

[Little Adam babbles]

J.R.: Hmm. Yeah. The one and only love of her life, huh?

Di: I shouldn't have come here.

Krystal: No, wait, wait. No, it's -- it's so nice to catch up with old friends. Plus it gives me a chance to remind you exactly where I stand. I'm not planning on stealing Tad out from under you. I want him to be happy, and there's a big chance that you might be the only woman who will allow him to do that. But I've said this before, and I will say it again. If you hurt him, you're going to have to answer to me. Because I learned a lot of useful things back at our old alma mater. You better be real careful.

Tad: You know something? In the short time you've been here, you've left an entire string of corpses in your wake. Don't try to blame your future roadkill on me.

Aidan: Are we totaling up Zach’s dead bodies?

Zach: The only person I'm worried about right now is Julia Santos. Now, do you or your ex-wife care if she lives or dies? Yes or no?

Tad: I don't owe you anything. Nothing. But just so you know, nobody's going to die because of Dixie. She doesn't know anything.

Zach: She knows Kevin Sturgess. Now, whether it's him or his boss or his partner or someone else in the organization that wants Julia dead, Dixie knows who it is. Now, wake up, unplug your toys, and deal with it.

Zach: Tell me you found Julia. Ok, you keep looking. What about the other one? Good.

Aidan: You already thought that Dixie was in some kind of danger, which makes sense because of what she knows. I mean, isn't it possible that that involves Julia?

Tad: Aidan, we're talking about Dixie here. Dixie, not some random woman off the street. I know her inside and out. Ok, maybe, you know, more inside than out because of the new face, but she's my Dixie. Maybe I had my questions in the beginning, but all it took was one kiss to make sure.

Aidan: See, I was right about that, and maybe I'm right about this. Say if Dixie does know something, but she's just opting not to tell.

Tad: No, that's not my point. She wouldn't hold out on me. If she did, she wouldn't be my Dixie, and she is. That's the reason I'm falling for her all over again. Aidan, she wouldn't lie to me, not about something like this.

[Standing in the woods, Di recalls seeing Tad for the first time.]

Tad: Dixie.

[A man wearing black gloves grabs Di from behind covering her mouth so she can't scream.]

Myrtle: All right, now, no more gushing. No more gushing. You all have to go. I've got to fix this dress, I've got to fix the hem, and I can't do it in a crowd!

Mimi: You really do look outstanding, baby.

Garret: Spectacular.

Myrtle: Bye-bye.

Mimi: Thanks, Myrtle.

Danielle: I think the hem is fine where it is.

Myrtle: Darling, the dress is perfect. I just think you could use a little privacy. You're looking very peaked.

Danielle: Thanks.

Myrtle: Anyway, how are you handling all this wedding business?

Danielle: It's whatever, as long as my mom's happy.

Myrtle: No, no. I mean for real, for real. Now, if you've got a problem, darling, do you want to talk about it?

Danielle: What's to talk about? It's perfect, just like the dress, just like our reflections in the mirror. Everything's mad perfect.

Jamie: Wanting your own life doesn't make you a terrible daughter or a horrible person.

Amanda: Don't worry about me. There is a heck of a lot more to life than calls from Mommy. You know, I don't even know why I'm sitting here. I have got an entire world to conquer.

Jamie: Hey, it's my last day before I start back at PVU. You want to catch a movie?

Amanda: For real?

Jamie: Yeah. I've got the entire day and so far nothing to do.

Amanda: Cool! I say we go for something super sweet and romantic. You know, I am thinking something with talking puppies and babies that never cry.

Jamie: My BS detector just blew out every window in the garage.

[Amanda laughs]

Jamie: Come on.

J.R.: I want a new social worker! This one never shows up on time! I don't care how many cases she has! This is the only one that matters to me. Well, then who do I need to talk to so she can help me?

Babe: J.R.!

J.R.: Have her give me a call. Thanks. What? What?

Babe: Stop jerking me around. Where's the baby?

J.R.: What are you -- what are you talking about? Little A is -- well, you put ideas in his head about playing hide-and-seek. He's got to be hiding somewhere.

Babe: What?

J.R.: Little A?

Babe: Little Adam, come to Mama!

Del: What's going on out here?

Babe: The baby's missing! Can you help us look for him?

Del: Yeah, I'll go inside and check with Win.

J.R.: Now, don't get dramatic. He's a toddler. How far could he have gone? Hmm?

[Babe screams off camera]

Babe: Oh, God! No, baby, no!

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Adam (to Krystal): What did you find out about Dixie and her siblings?

Danielle (to Josh): Just take it someplace else, please.

Josh (to Danielle): You want to tell me what's got you so wired, or do you want me to guess?

Babe: Oh, my God, J.R., he's stopped breathing. Call 911! Now! Come on, baby, please!
