Babe: See, my sweet baby James? Santa came to visit you, just like we promised.
Jamie: Merry Christmas!
Babe: Ooh.
Jamie: Oh, how you doing? How we all doing?
Babe: I have everything I've ever wanted. I got my sweet little boy safe in my arms on his first Christmas, I've got you watching out for us. Hand to God, Jamie, I'm so blessed. There's just one thing.
Jamie: Oh, say no more. I'm on it.
Babe: Jamie, you'll be careful?
Jamie: Nothing bad is going to happen, Babe. You have my word.
Lily: Bianca doesn't look like Sleeping Beauty anymore. Her eyes are open.
Erica: Bianca, my baby. You came back. And you know -- you know who this is?
Bianca: My Miranda.
Erica: Yes.
Bianca: My baby girl.
Kendall: You came back. I was so afraid that I'd lost you, but you came back.
Bianca: So did Miranda.
Erica: Sweetheart, do you remember? Do you know how you got here?
Bianca: No. But I remember -- I know that -- that this is Miranda.
Maria: Welcome back to the world. How are you feeling?
Bianca: I don't know, like I just woke up from a long nap.
Maria: Yeah? Well, that's exactly what you did. It is. Would you mind taking the baby just for a second so I can check Bianca out?
Bianca: Oh, no, no, no, I'm sorry, Miranda�s not going anywhere.
Erica: Oh. Honey, it'll be all right. I'll be right here with the baby, right where you can see her. She'll be just safe in my arms. Sweetheart, on my life, I swear, I will never let anybody take your baby from you again.
Bianca: Ok. Oh, God.
Erica: Ok.
Bianca: Oh, Miranda, it's ok.
Erica: Come on, baby. Oh, God bless you for bringing my baby back.
Reggie: It's true, right? I mean, that's really Miranda?
Jack: It's Miranda, that's Bianca's baby, the reason Bianca opened her eyes. I mean, she's with us on this glorious Christmas morning.
Greenlee: Merry Christmas.
Ryan: Merry Christmas.
Reggie: She's going to be all right? I mean, like, nothing is wrong and she's --
Jack: Just keep praying ok? But I think from this day on, Bianca's going to be a lot more than all right.
Joe: Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to spread some of this joy around and have myself a good cry.
Lily: Daddy, did my lifejacket help save Bianca, too?
Jack: There's no doubt in my mind it did.
Kendall: Bess is Miranda. J.R. -- he told me it was all a lie.
Jack: That's because it's what J.R. wanted you to believe.
Tad: No, Jack. That's what J.R. wanted to believe.
Ryan: Well, how did you get him to give her up?
Jack: We did a DNA test to prove that the baby is Bianca's.
Kendall: That means that J.R.'s baby --
Jack: Didn't make it. No. Believe me, we all hated that J.R. had to lose his baby for Bianca to find hers.
Jack: Hey, kiddo. Look at her. She's magnificent, isn't she?
Greenlee: Hmm, gorgeous, amazing.
Ryan: Well, Lily, I think you witnessed your first miracle, a living breathing miracle.
Joe: She's awake!
[Cheers]
Joe: And not only is she holding her own, she is holding her baby in her arms.
[Cheers]
Opal: Oh, Myrt, I don't know what you packed in those prayers of yours!
Myrtle: Darling, it was Mona. I knew she'd take care of her girls.
Opal: Erica, Bianca, and, thank the Lord, now Miranda! Oh, you --
Palmer: Hmm?
Opal: Take that, you old coot!
Palmer: Hey. And take that, you bag of bones.
Opal: You old --
Palmer: Get, get --
Opal: Get out of here.
Maggie: I am so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. Thank you, God.
Danielle: Reggie must be partying pretty hard.
Derek: And I'm right there with him.
Brooke: Bianca got her baby back. I'm so happy for her.
Joe: Well, you see what it means to never give up hope. Jamie's going to be ok.
Nurse: Excuse me, Dr. Martin. There's a call for you on line one.
Joe: Thank you, Nancy. Excuse me.
Krystal: Oh, praise God and pass the eggnog.
David: Life. Sometimes it really does sparkle.
Maggie: David, hug me.
David: Come here.
Maggie: Oh, I'm so happy.
Joe: Joe Martin.
Jamie: Merry Christmas, Grandpa.
Joe: Good God. Are you all right?
Jamie: I'm good. We're all good. Except Bianca. Is there any change?
Joe: You know, your sense of timing is just perfect. She just woke up. Erica put Miranda in her arms, and she opened her eyes.
Jamie: She has Miranda back?
Joe: Yep, safe and sound and holding her in her arms as we speak.
Jamie: That is so huge. Grandpa, you just gave us the best Christmas present ever.
Joe: Well, that's good. Now I want you to return the favor. I'm going to put your mom on. Hang on. Brooke. Brooke? Call for you.
Brooke: Hello.
Jamie: Merry Christmas, Mom. Mom? Are you there?
Brooke: Yes. Yes, I'm here. Oh, honey, are you ok?
Jamie: I'm great, all of us. Miranda and Bianca, too.
Brooke: Oh, I wish you were here.
Jamie: Mom, just be happy for us. Listen, I got to go.
Brooke: Not yet.
Jamie: It's not safe to stay on the phone. Tell Dad I love him and Merry Christmas. I love you, Mom.
Brooke: Honey, I love you, too. Please be careful.
Krystal: Look, I know you probably don't give a darn what I think, but I'm going to spill it anyway. You made a promise to reunite Bianca and her baby, and you delivered, and that makes you some kind of hero in my book.
Tad: No, no, it doesn't. Come on. This was nothing but an act of desperation. It was a last-minute save. We got lucky.
Krystal: It was a breath of life for Bianca, so don't you dare water it down. And when you walked in there spilling the beans about that baby switch, you could have ratted me and David out to everybody, but you didn't even wink in our direction.
Tad: Why would I? Come on, Krystal, Bianca was fighting for her life in that room, not to mention what I just did to J.R. You and David were the last things on my mind.
Krystal: You made a choice between someone that you still love like a son and an innocent baby, and you chose that baby knowing full well that it was going to bring down a world of hurt on J.R., and I know -- I know that must be killing you.
Tad: You will never know how much.
Krystal: I think I do, because it killed me when I made that same choice.
Tad: Krystal, the fact that I didn't tell J.R. that his son is alive to save Bianca does not make us the same.
Krystal: I'm not saying it does. All I'm saying is we both had to make that painful choice for the same reason -- to protect a child that we love. The difference is I swapped one evil for another one, and I know -- I know what I did was wrong, but I also know that as much as it hurts, you did the right thing, Tad. J.R. is too much like his father to raise that child. What you did -- what you did saved my grandson. You have nothing, nothing to be ashamed of. But what I did, keeping that baby away from Bianca, was keeping her from her mother's love.
Maria: She's perfect. Bianca's absolutely perfect.
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa, perfect? I mean, couldn't you translate that into some confusing medical jargon for me?
Maria: No, she not only is awake, it's as though she was never in a coma.
Lily: Like a miracle.
Myrtle: I would never have taken you for a praying man.
Zach: Well, I am when I have something to be thankful for.
Myrtle: We all are now, thank God. Well, I'll let you get on with your prayers.
Zach: Mrs. Fargate, I believe what you told me about my brother that day at the cemetery.
Myrtle: I told you I don't lie.
Zach: I know. Something else you said --
Myrtle: I said I wanted what was best for Bianca.
Zach: If I can, I want to find a way to make up to her for what Michael did.
Myrtle: That's a tall order, Mr. Slater.
Zach: I know. But Miranda�s the only good thing my brother left behind. I know it came at a terrible price. But I need for Bianca and Miranda to know that if they need me I'm here.
Ethan: Zach. I need you to stay away from Bianca and Miranda. You have no claim on Bianca's baby.
Zach: She's my niece.
Ethan: You're a Cambias. She's a Montgomery -- Bianca's child. She'll have no part of this Cambias curse you keep raving about. Are we clear?
Bianca: Mommy?
Erica: Yes, sweetheart?
Bianca: What did it feel like when you held Miranda for the first time?
Erica: It felt like holding you and my mother holding me and all of us holding each other.
Jack: Hi. I'm so sorry to interrupt, but I think Kendall needs to talk to you, sweetheart.
Erica: Oh. All right. Will you take Miranda?
Jack: Yeah, you bet.
Erica: Ok.
Jack: Hi. How are you?
Erica: Here you go.
Jack: Come here.
Erica: There you go. Ok. Ok. I'll be back, I'll be back in just a minute, sweetheart. Ok?
Jack: Life is good, huh?
Erica: Honey? Are you all right?
Kendall: You did it, Mother. You fought for Miranda, and you brought her back.
Erica: I love you.
Jack: Why don't you go back to Mommy, huh? Oh, here you go, sweetheart. There you are. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to stay right here. It's so good to have you back, both of you. You know, ever since Travis died, I've always -- always wanted to be more of a father to you than an uncle.
Bianca: Oh, my God, you have been. Yes, you are. You know what? Miranda doesn't have a grandfather. Think maybe you could pull double-duty? Great-uncle Jack/Grandpa?
Jack: Yeah, I think maybe I can do that. I'd be honored to do that.
Bianca: Now I know what happiness is. And you know me, don't you, sweetie? You know I'm not your godmother. I'm your one and only mommy.
Krystal: You did the right thing.
Tad: Yeah. Score one for me. You know, just because J.R. doesn't know his son is alive doesn't mean he won't find out.
Krystal: That's my 24/7 nightmare.
Tad: Well, it better be, because the Buchanans are rich and they're powerful and they're not going to stop till they find that little boy.
Krystal: Well, then, I'm just going to have to keep on praying that they don't.
Tad: And then there's Bianca. She knows James is alive.
Krystal: If she remembers. And that's a big if. Tad, I know, I know that there are bumpy times ahead, but I'm going to take them on, I'm going to wrestle them to the ground to make sure that Babe and Jamie and that innocent child are safe. Tad, I owe you my life, for everything that you did for me and for Babe and for my grandson. If there is anything I can ever do in return, then you just have to name it.
Tad: Krystal, you don't owe me anything.
David: Krystal, here you are. I turned around and you were gone.
Tad: Yeah. Imagine that.
Krystal: Tad, you made a miracle happen. And I will never, never forget that.
Tad: Excuse me.
Babe: Bianca?
Jamie: She woke up. Miranda brought her back. Baby and mother are doing just fine.
Babe: Oh, my -- oh, my God, thank God! Oh, my God.
Ethan: You can sever all connection to the Cambias name, but you are what you are, and that's bad for Miranda.
Zach: I will not harm that child.
Ethan: Well, I'm sorry, but you haven't earned the right to be taken at your word right now. So for the time being, I'm going to be keeping an eye on you.
Zach: What? Nothing's wrong? Bianca's still awake and everything's fine?
Maria: She's fine. She's amazing.
Zach: Thank God.
Maria: Yeah. I just did.
Zach: So, what happened? What happened in ICU? Why did she come back?
Maria: I have no earthly idea.
Kendall: I can't believe I held her in my arms and I didn't even know.
Bianca: Kendall --
Kendall: Hey, Miranda, I am your Aunt Kendall, and I owe you a pound puppy.
Reggie: Hi, hi, Miranda. I'm Reggie. I'm your mom's cousin. And when J and Erica finally tie the knot, I'm going to be your brother, big old Uncle Reggie.
Jack: Whatever you're comfortable with, honey.
Lily: Hello, Miranda. I'm Lily, Reggie�s sister. Soon I'll be your aunt. Is that right?
Jack: It's absolutely perfect.
Kendall: Miranda, say hi to Greenlee. She's another cousin and your soon-to-be Aunt Greenlee.
Greenlee: Hey, Miranda. Hey. I'll be the wild aunt. We'll go on lots of adventures together. Yeah.
Kendall: And this, my friend, is Ryan. He's going to be your Uncle Ryan.
Ryan: Yeah, I guess I am. Hey, beauty. You know what I'm going to do? I am going to get a sidecar for my motorcycle, and you and I, we're going to ride like the wind.
Bianca: Yeah, we'll discuss that when she's older.
Ryan: Yeah, I bet we will. She's an angel. And you, Kendall -- you were right. Back at that farce of a wedding, you knew that she was Miranda. You were right.
Ryan: Bianca, you answered a lot of prayers when you woke up.
Bianca: And Miranda answered mine.
Lily: Everyone's mouth is turned up now.
Jack: Yeah, I think maybe today even God is smiling, huh?
Greenlee: Dad, I hear you've added "Grandpa" to your job description.
Jack: "Grandpa." "Grandpa" -- I kind of like that. I think it fits. I think I'll keep it. Come on, you.
Greenlee: Ryan, wait right here. I'll be back.
Ryan: Where are you going?
Greenlee: I'm not leaving the building. Back in a flash.
Erica: Oh, honey, on this very special day, whatever's on your wish list, yours and Miranda�s, I am going to make that happen.
Bianca: I only have one very special wish. I want to take Miranda home.
Jack: Yeah, well, you know, I was talking to Maria, and she'd kind of like to keep you here a few more days, just for observation.
Bianca: Well, I'm not staying here without Miranda. I mean, there's no way that I'm going to let this little girl out of my sight ever again. No. No. I have spent the past nine months thinking that my baby was gone forever. Those are nine months that I'm never going to get back. So there's no way that I'm missing out on another day, another hour, another minute.
Erica: And you won't have to, sweetheart. I'm going to make sure of that. Joe, Joe, I have another favor to ask of you, and I hope you won't fight me on this.
Joe: When have I ever stood a chance against Erica Kane?
Derek: He'll be here, you know.
Danielle: Who?
Derek: You know who -- Reggie.
Danielle: He must be partying pretty hard. Daddy, when you told me that baby died, whoa. And he's been walking off the hurt ever since. If something had happened to Bianca, if he had lost her --
Derek: But it didn't, it didn't. Bianca's ok. The baby is ok. We're all ok. Heck, I'm so full of cheer -- why don't you ask Reggie on over to the house for Christmas?
Danielle: Are you serious?
Derek: The more the merrier.
Danielle: This really must be the season of miracles!
Tad: So, did our beloved son say anything else?
Brooke: He said to wish you a merry Christmas and tell you that he loves you.
Tad: Well, then, why don't you do me a favor and let's raise a glass to -- to James Martin, the real hero of this story. Merry Christmas, James, wherever you are.
Jamie: James, I promise to take you to your first baseball game as soon as the season starts, a fishing trip in the summer, and to read to you at least every other night.
Babe: That's sweet.
Jamie: It's your turn.
Babe: Ok.
Jamie: You ready?
Babe: Ok, honey.
Jamie: You ready?
Babe: My sweet baby James, I promise you a ride on the merry-go-round and all the bunnies and lambies that you can pet at the petting zoo and a ride on a mini-choo-choo train.
Jamie: I'm going to keep every one of my promises.
Babe: So am I. I got one for you.
Jamie: I got one for you, too.
Babe: Go ahead and read it aloud.
Jamie: "Jamie, my Christmas promise to you is to try to be the family you left behind." It's unbelievable. Open yours.
Babe: "Babe, my Christmas promise to you is to try to be the family that you left behind."
Maria: Her love for that baby is what actually saved her life. And that's what it is -- children are the miracle. They're the true miracle. They're the gift of life. So I'm going to go home right now and I'm going to go hug mine. And you should do the same. You should hug yours.
Ethan: Have you seen Kendall?
Ryan: Yeah, she's in there with her sister.
Ethan: Ryan, believe it or not, I'm really glad your wife's going to be ok. Merry Christmas.
Ryan: Merry Christmas.
Greenlee: Merry Christmas.
Ryan: What is it?
Greenlee: A car. Open it. Yeah, it's to keep the baby from beating on our eardrums.
Ryan: "The baby"?
Greenlee: Mm-hmm.
Ryan: Does this mean that we're going to try again?
Greenlee: Mm-hmm. Just give me a few months to detox the crud out of my system. Then maybe this time next year I can give you a bundle of joy.
Kendall: I didn't expect this day to be so happy. I didn't think you were coming back. And I never ever imagined that you would ever hold your little girl again. I was afraid to believe.
Bianca: Well, sometimes it pays to have faith in the face of your fears.
Kendall: You sound just like Father Clarence.
Bianca: You know Father Clarence?
Kendall: Yeah, see, he knew you, too. He said he met you last Christmas at his chapel.
Bianca: Well, I'm not so sure that Father Clarence is a priest, or even from around here.
Kendall: Well, whoever, whatever he was, he told me to not give up.
[Miranda coos]
Kendall: Yeah, he did. He told me to keep fighting and have faith that you'd come back. And you did. So did Miranda.
Krystal: It happens every year.
David: What's that?
Krystal: A Christmas miracle. Babe was right. There's just something about this day that makes you believe there are miracles all around us. Merry Christmas, baby doll.
Jamie: What you doing out here?
Babe: I'm sending up a prayer of thanks. Even with the horrible mess that I made of everything, everything turned out the way it's supposed to.
Jamie: I talked to my mom today. It was good to hear her voice.
Babe: Jamie, the promise that I made to you, about you having a family, I'm going to keep that.
Jamie: What do you call this?
Erica: So, it's all set. Joe said he would arrange everything. This is the most wonderful Christmas I have ever had in my life.
Jack: Amen.
Kendall: You know, we all tried to reach you. But you only opened your eyes for Miranda.
Bianca: Oh, no, that's not true. I woke up because of all of you. I mean, I could hear you guys -- maybe not every word, but the feeling was as clear as day. You prayed for me. And, Reggie, you were so angry. My dying was not an option. Lily, I heard you, too. In fact, I think I even felt you touch me.
Lily: I did.
Bianca: And, Mom, I could hear you, too. Everything that you said to me -- I mean, maybe not the exact words, but I felt you telling me to hold on and to fight, and so I held on and I fought because I knew I wasn't fighting alone. I knew that all of you were fighting with me. You brought me back.
[Miranda coos]
Erica: Yes.

[While the music plays, Lily dons her sunglasses and beams at Adrian and Anita who promptly put on theirs, too. Getting the thumbs-up from Derek to be with Danielle, Reggie exuberantly hugs and kisses the police chief. David is not happy to see Tad and Krystal exchange longing glances and silent Merry Christmas wishes. Babe and Jamie create a happy little family scene with baby James. Leaving the hospital chapel, Zach casts a last glance at the baby Jesus in the crèche. Jack, Erica, and Kendall happily stand by Bianca holding her beautiful daughter. In the hall, Kendall takes Ethan's hand in hers and stares deeply into his loving eyes.]
