Ryan: Anyone going to welcome me home?

Erica: Allow me to be the first, Ryan.

Ryan: Erica, gracious as always.

Erica: Thank you. So, was this what you wanted when you spoke to me in the steam room?

Ryan: Oh, and I am just getting started.

David: Ah --

Ryan: David!

David: Ryan.

Ryan: You know what? I'm really, really sorry to hear about Anna. I can't believe she left such a likable guy like yourself.

David: Back off, Lavery.

Ryan: Oh, that's -- that's kind of funny. You know what I mean? Because you -- well, I told you to back off once, remember, with Gillian? You should have listened to me. Adam, you dog. How are you? Ah, come on, man. We've shaken hands before. Remember, we were in business together, the old dot-com days? Tell me you remember them fondly. No? Oh, wait, no, I guess not because you pulled the plug on me. Well, hey, man, don't worry about it. Now that I'm back, I'll be sure to return the favor. Liza, don't look now, but Adam can't take his eyes off of you. Freedom agrees with you. You have never looked more beautiful.

Greenlee: And you have never been more full of it.

Ryan: Well, Greenlee. Hey, wonderful to see you, too.

Greenlee: Oh, is it? Is that why you've been avoiding me? You better have a good explanation for this.

Kendall: Hey! I thought you were never coming back. What do you want, Ryan? Why are you here?

Ryan: To offer my condolences on the death of your husband. I heard he was quite a catch.

Kendall: Shut up. This is a joke, right? You don't know Alexander Cambias. You're not his heir.

Ryan: Are you sure about that?

Greenlee: Don't listen to him, Kendall. This is just another con. He's been here for weeks. I've seen him here, at the boathouse. You've been spying on me, haven't you, Ryan?

Ryan: Oh, well, actually, I've been spying on all of you -- especially you, Kendall, not that you've noticed, but we were on the same flight back from Vegas together.

Kendall: What?

Ryan: Yeah. I was there when you got off the plane and you made your big announcement. I couldn't believe it when you said you married Michael Cambias.

Kendall: It's none of your business whom I marry.

Ryan: Oh -- well, actually, it is. Bill? Play the rest of the tape.

Alexander: So, now you've all met the man who would inherit my fortune. Not that introductions are needed. I doubt that many of you could forget a face like that. Ryan Lavery is a man of strength and integrity. He has values -- something strongly lacking in the world today. Ryan was a stranger to me until the day he saved my life. He rode through the desert with me on the back of his bike, and he pushed me to keep going after my heart attack. I've learned that I can trust him and that he's everything I could want in a son. So, I've decided to leave all my holdings, my entire estate, to him.

[Crowd murmurs]

Greenlee: Oh, my God. You bilked a dying old man out of his fortune.

Alexander: Should of you think that I've lost my mind, my attorney, Bill Masters, has drawn all the necessary documents to validate this, my last will and testament. My doctors have signed papers declaring me sound of mind, and there were two independent parties witness to the making of this tape. I trust that Ryan will make good use of his new inheritance. As for my son Michael, if he hasn't left the room yet, I leave him what he has amounted to all his life -- absolutely nothing. I imagine quite a fiery reunion for us, son, in Hades.

Ryan: Whoa. Is it getting hot in here, or are Alexander and Mikey getting reunited as we speak? Talk about culture shock -- going from a high school meat locker to the fiery depths of hell.

Derek: What do you know about that?

Ryan: Just that whoever did it went to great lengths to cover it up.

Aidan: Easy.

Ryan: And my money -- well, Alexander's money -- is on somebody in this room.

Derek: Is this based on anything other than conjecture?

Ryan: Have you ever met Michael Cambias, Lieutenant? I mean, his own father hated him.

Derek: Doesn't make him unique.

Ryan: Huh. Well, how long ago did Michael die?

Kendall: What's it to you?

Ryan: Quite a bit. Millions, actually. You see, if Michael died first then his assets automatically get reverted back to his father's estate -- more specifically, his beneficiaries.

Jack: And that would be you.

Ryan: Yeah, that would be me, just like the man said.

Kendall: But Michael didn't die first.

Ryan: Great. Prove it -- you know, with something that will actually stand up in court.

Kendall: I have proof.

Ryan: All right, bring it on. Well, until then, I am the sole heir to everything Cambias. I not only own Cambias Industries, I own Chandler Enterprises, Enchantment, and a little company called Fusion.

Ryan: Well, I finally made something of myself. Aren't you going to congratulate me?

Kendall: Congratulate you on what? Being a thief and a liar?

Ryan: Oh. I'm not the liar here, Kendall. You are, and I'm calling you out.

Aidan: Watch it.

Ryan oh. Hello, Aidan. You know what, man? I got to congratulate you. I'm really impressed by the way you stood by Kendall through all this.

Kendall: Aidan's not a flat-leaver like you are.

Ryan: Oh, yeah, give him time. You got to admit, though, she did warn you, dude, right? I mean, how she's only in it for herself and how everything is a means to an end. And I bet you're wondering if that includes you, too. Well, I wouldn't because I know you're a fool.

Aidan: There's only one fool here, and that's you, Lavery.

Ryan: Huh. Maybe, but I'm a very rich fool.

Kendall: Well, you're not going to get that way off of me.

Ryan: Well, the will says --

Kendall: Screw the will. You left here a nobody, and you can stay that way.

Ryan: Well, my friend over there says otherwise. Hey, Bill, when did Alexander die?

Bill: August 29, 2003.

Kendall: What time?

Bill: 6:35 a.m.

Kendall: Oh, well, too bad, Ryan. Michael and I were married later that same day. Aidan can produce witnesses and I have the marriage certificate. I keep it in a nice, cute, little silver frame.

Ryan: Oh, I bet that's really cute, but you know what? It's going to take more than a piece of paper to convince me that you married Michael Cambias. Bill, the envelope, please.

Mia: What about Fusion? What if Ryan owns us?

Greenlee: Ryan is not going to get his hands on our company.

Simone: Yeah, why not? He got his hands on you, and Liza, and Kendall, for that matter. I'm the only one at Fusion he hasn't gone to bed with. Wow. That sound weird to any of you?

Mia: How can be sure that Ryan can't get Fusion?

Greenlee: Simple. I'm not going to let him.

Edmund: What's that look for? I promised you a big story. Can I at least get a thanks?

Brooke: No. Yes, it's a big story, but is it true?

Derek: If Lavery's been following Kendall, he's going to be an asset to our investigation.

Jack: Well, now, Derek, that depends upon what he knows and what he wants us to believe.

[Liza giggles]

Tad: Well, don't you look like the cat that ate the canary.

Liza: Why not? Look at Adam. I've never seen him look so antsy.

Tad: Well, why shouldn't he? He hates to lose, especially to a man that slept with his wife.

Liza: Not that I need to be reminded, but thank you for reminding me.

Ryan: Ok, Bill. Bring them in.

Tad: What's this, parting gift stock certificates?

Liza: Certificate of marriage?

Ryan: Yeah.

Tad: Oh, Ryan, you shouldn't have.

Ryan: Yeah, well, you know. Liza, you and I were married last week. I'm so sorry that I had to cut the honeymoon so short, and, Erica -- we tied the knot last month. Like so many others, I found it impossible to resist you.

Greenlee: Let me guess -- sometime last spring?

Ryan: In the park, at sunset. It was beautiful.

Greenlee: Hmm. This certificate is worthless, like you.

Ryan: What? It's got the official state seal on it. I mean, that's got to mean something.

Greenlee: That you can add forgery to your list of talents? None of these are real.

Ryan: You're right, they're not. But admit it there, Greenlee -- for a second, your heart skipped a beat. These are the ministers that performed the wedding ceremonies.

Minister: Hello, Mrs. Lavery.

Second Minister: Nice to see you again, Mrs. Lavery.

Third Minister: Mrs. --

Ryan: The rabbi's ours.

Rabbi: Mrs. Lavery.

Ryan: We converted to Judaism before the ceremony.

Mia: That means you can kiss my tochis.

Ryan: Hmm. You see, Kendall, anybody can toss around a marriage certificate or pay off a few witnesses. Thank you, everybody. That'll be all for now.

Kendall: I didn't forge anything.

Aidan: And I didn't pay off any witnesses.

Ryan: Hey, hey, hey, man. It's cool. I'm not accusing you of fraud. I know you just want to believe the best in Kendall. I feel for you. I mean, I've been there. It's tough accepting the truth from someone who claims to care for you.

Kendall: Oh, I get it. I get it, ok. You set this up to get back at me because you think I betrayed you with Aidan.

Ryan: No, Kendall. No, I'm over that now. I set this up because I own this town now, and you are the one pulling the con, and the con is over.

Kendall: What con? I married Michael --

Ryan: Nobody in this room believes that you married that guy.

Kendall: No, Ryan, you're the guy I didn't marry.

Ryan: You fight me on this, and you'll lose.

Greenlee: No, you're going to lose, Ryan. I believe Kendall. So bring it on.

Ryan: You think that's wise, Greenlee, siding with Kendall?

Greenlee: We're partners. It's called loyalty.

Mia: Yeah. You know what? I'm with Kendall, too.

Simone: Yeah, so am I. I totally believe her.

Ryan: Why?

Simone: Only Kendall could do something like this. I mean, marry Michael Cambias -- hello? Who else, you know, could be so calculating and greedy, offend everyone she knows and not even care about it? If she married this jerk for the money, I say she deserves it.

Kendall: Simone, stop helping.

Ryan: You really want it to go down like this, Kendall?

Kendall: Where I win and you lose? You bet.

Ryan: Oh, you see, that's not the way it's going to happen, though. And if you think I'm going to cut you a break --

Kendall: Just because you're hurt over the way things ended between us, don't think you can cheat me out of what's mine.

Erica: Admit it, Kendall. Everything Ryan said is true. You didn't marry Michael Cambias. You didn't marry him. You forged your wedding certificate. You bribed a few witnesses, and why? Why did you do that? You didn't love Michael Cambias. You did it to get back at me, to take my company away from me.

Kendall: Oh, my God. Erica, get over yourself.

Erica: Look, you can end this, Kendall. You can end this right now. Tell the truth.

Kendall: I don't understand this. You were so quick to believe that I married Michael before, and now you're ready to believe Ryan? Why? What the hell happened? Oh -- oh, you don't think he'll help you, do you? That he'll give you back Enchantment if you turn on me?

Erica: Oh, Kendall, for heaven's sakes, not everything revolves around you.

Kendall: You know, every day is just another day for you to spit on me, tell me you wish I'd never been born and that I turned out just like my father.

Erica: I never said that. You said that.

Aidan: Kendall --

Kendall: You know what?

Aidan: Come on.

Greenlee: You won't be happy till Kendall's hanging on that hook next to Michael, will you?

Erica: Are you talking to me?

Jack: Greenlee, don't get involved in this, ok?

Greenlee: No! Who is Erica to talk to Kendall like that?

Erica: You just don't know half as much as you think you do. Just leave it alone.

Greenlee: Oh, I'm sorry. Is this a family matter?

Erica: I'm not doing this with you, Greenlee.

Greenlee: You know, you want Kendall to tell you the truth. Then maybe you should, too. When was the last time we were all gathered in this room? Was that your wedding? And you never got married because you kept a secret from Jackson, and that secret was me, the daughter he didn't know about. You lied, he took off -- end of story.

Jack: Please, sweetie, please, just --

Greenlee: No, no. I'm not going to stand here while Erica and Ryan lie through their teeth.

Erica: Ryan is not lying, and neither am I. And throwing another tantrum isn't going to scare Ryan and it's not going to scare me, and it's not going to get you Fusion.

Greenlee: God, you can never give Kendall a chance, can you?

Jack: Greenlee, that's enough.

Greenlee: No! Why don't you --

Jack: Would you just stop?

Greenlee: Why don't you, Erica. She pushes people and she pushes people, but it's never her fault.

Erica: Well, this certainly isn't.

Jack: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Just -- just come over here a second, will you, please? Right, please.

Adam: Well, Lavery, I see you haven't lost your knack for raising hell.

Ryan: Well, you know, Adam, I learned from the best when I was working with you.

Adam: Mm-hmm.

Ryan: And, besides, this town needed a little airing out, a little shift of power.

Adam: Yeah, I see. Well, you're not going anywhere near Chandler Enterprises. That's my company.

Ryan: And there will always be a place for you there. We'll get you one of those little vests with, like, a little flag, and you're going to make an excellent parking attendant.

Adam: Laugh it up, kid. May be your last chance.

Ryan: Yeah? I wouldn't bet on it, Adam.

Kendall: Proud of yourself?

Ryan: Yeah. Today had its moments.

Kendall: They're the last you'll have at my expense.

Ryan: Kendall, this isn't about getting at you.

Kendall: Oh, no? Really? You knew Michael left everything to me. You knew that I was his wife. But you thought you would waltz in here, make your big announcement, and no one would challenge you. I mean, who in this town is going to come to my defense?

Ryan: Well, you saw the video, didn't you? It named me the sole heir to Alexander's estate, and because of the little provision that he and Michael agreed upon --

Kendall: Michael died after his father, so that provision is just as lame as you are. You have no claim on my inheritance.

Ryan: Yeah? Well, that's not for you to decide.

Kendall: You're just some drifter Alexander met in the desert. Why would he leave everything to you?

Ryan: Because in the end, I meant something to him.

Kendall: "In the end"? Oh. So, tell me, how exactly did Alexander die?

Ryan: Coronary.

Kendall: Oh, that's terrible. Were you with him when it happened?

Ryan: Yes.

Kendall: Alone?

Ryan: What's your point, Kendall?

Kendall: Well, he was a sick man on his deathbed, and you were a poor man with nothing to lose.

Ryan: Oh.

Kendall: You sure you didn't aggravate his condition a little bit?

Ryan: He died of natural causes.

Kendall: Says you.

Ryan: The only one that was murdered here was your husband. Let me ask you something. Did you lose any sleep wondering how your husband ended up in a meat locker? I mean, somebody went to a lot of trouble to keep him cool. I mean, they had to tap an outside power source to keep him on ice.

Kendall: What are you trying to say, Ryan? Are you accusing me of killing my husband?

Ryan: I don't think you killed anybody, Kendall. I'm just stating the facts of the case.

Derek: And you seem to know an awful lot about this case.

Ryan: Well, it was public knowledge that Michael was found in that plant.

Derek: It wasn't public knowledge that an outside electrical line was used to keep the body cold.

Jack: Now, would you mind telling us how it is you knew that?

Ryan: I was the one who discovered the body.

Kendall: What?

Erica: What?

Jack: You were?

Derek: You said you found Cambias.

Edmund: Well, Derek, actually, Ryan found him. Then he called me, and I called it in. That second set of footprints that you found -- it was Ryan's.

Jack: And what were you doing at the plant?

Ryan: I overheard Kendall talking about the plant being set for demolition, and she sounded all freaked out about it, so I decided to check it out. And when I got there, I caught her making a deal to buy the place.

Kendall: I needed -- I needed a warehouse with refrigeration. So what?

Derek: Refrigeration for what?

Kendall: For cosmetics. For -- I didn't want my inventory to melt.

Ryan: You know what? She did have that Boyd guy with her. Oh, dude, gosh. Aidan, I'm sorry. I guess you're not the only one helping Mrs. Cambias through this difficult time. Hey, I invited Boyd. Where the hell is he?

Kendall: Shut up. Why are you doing this? You're not helping.

Ryan: Helping? Look, I personally don't really care who killed the guy. That's not my concern.

David: Yeah, you're a real humanitarian, Lavery.

Ryan: Michael's father was a good man. Michael broke his heart. He used people. He walked on rape charges. Personally, I think the guy got what he deserved. So, whoever did him in, you did the world a favor.

Derek: What do you care about?

Ryan: I care about when he took his last breath.

Jack: Yeah, well, that won't be made public.

Ryan: All right. I understand that you have to protect your case, Jackson, and you probably want to, you know, question me, so I'll make you a deal.

Jack: And what do you got in mind, Ryan?

Ryan: What I know for the exact time of Michael's death. That way, nobody can question my right to inherit all of Alexander's estate.

Jack: No deal.

Mia: You know, what's happened to you, Ryan?

Ryan: No, no, no, this doesn't have to get ugly. I mean, I'll be willing to settle out of court.

Simone: Yeah, settle how?

Ryan: Don't question my claim, and I'll give you cash right now for all three companies.

Kendall: I'm not selling you anything.

Ryan: I'm prepared to be very generous.

Kendall: Stuff it. I'm not intimidated by you.

Greenlee: Neither am I.

Mia: You know what? None of us are.

Simone: You think this is a done deal? Think again, pal.

Ryan: You four are so adorable.

David: All right.

Ryan: Hey, hey, David, you're not leaving already, are you? I mean, I got a whole, like of champagne on ice.

David: I get it, Ryan. You're a big shot now. I don't care. Good for you.

Ryan: Well, you know what? I said what I came to say. I don't want to hold anybody else up. I appreciate the turnout. It was really good seeing everybody. I mean, what's a homecoming without friends and associates?

Greenlee: This.

Erica: Ryan, I would love to meet with you at another time where we could speak privately.

Ryan: So would I. And, Erica, you know that I have to keep you on in charge at Enchantment. I mean, nobody else can run that company.

Erica: We'll discuss that later.

Ryan: Ok. Erica?

Erica: Yes?

Ryan: I am so incredibly sorry about what happened to Bianca. If there's anything that I can do or anything that she needs, anything --

Erica: Thank you.

Derek: That was quite a show you put on this afternoon, Ryan. I'm still going to need a statement from you, though.

Ryan: Will I get what I want?

Derek: Ryan, cooperate, or I'm going to charge you with interfering with a police investigation. You got me? I am not going to release a confidential autopsy.

Ryan: Ok, all right, all right, all right, all right, Lieutenant. You do what you got to do, ok? I'm just going to have to get what I need another time.

Brooke: Well, you should have told me. You know, I could have helped.

Edmund: It was Ryan's decision to keep his return a secret.

Brooke: Oh, I see, and does Maria know?

Edmund: She stumbled into my office. She was sworn to secrecy.

Brooke: Hmm. So you felt that you just couldn't trust me.

Edmund: It wasn't my call to make.

Brooke: No, you were busy protecting your exclusivity.

Edmund: I was protecting a friend, and from the looks of it, Ryan's going to need all the friends he can get.

Liza: So, was it everything you hoped it would be?

Ryan: Oh, come on, now. You enjoyed it a little bit.

Liza: It was very entertaining. I thought you gave up the corporate world.

Ryan: Well, I guess I just needed a different perspective.

Liza: And you have that now?

Ryan: Oh, yeah, I do. So, how are you really?

Liza: I'm good. I'm away from Adam, and it's good for me.

Ryan: Yeah. Pushing you out of Chandler wasn't the brightest move, which is why I want you back as CEO. I want you on my team, Liza.

Liza: Are you serious?

Ryan: Yeah, I'm very serious. I am. Think about it.

Liza: Ok.

Ryan: Ok.

Liza: I will.

Ryan: Ok.

Liza: Ok.

Tad: Oh, stop it. It's a hell of a party. I'm glad I crashed it.

Adam: Hiring Liza back -- that was an intelligent business maneuver.

Ryan: Yeah, well, Adam, I'm on a winning streak. Haven't you noticed? You're the one that's losing. Chandler Enterprises, Liza -- man, when's it going to end?

Greenlee: Hey, you ok?

Simone: Oh.

Kendall: So far.

Mia: I can't believe this.

Simone: What are going to do?

Greenlee: We're going to protect Fusion.

Mia: Do you think Ryan can really mess with our company?

Greenlee: The only thing I'm going to let Ryan mess with is his bike.

Kendall: He can't do this. I won't let him.

Aidan: No, no, just -- whatever you're about to do, don't.

Greenlee: Hey. Hey! Where are you sneaking off to? Can I come?

Kendall: Aidan, I want to talk to Ryan. I have to.

Aidan: No.

Kendall: You can't stop me.

Aidan: I'm not letting you alone with him.

Kendall: Why not?

Aidan: Because I'm afraid you're going to shoot your mouth off, get mad, and say something that you shouldn't.

Ryan: Is that really why? Or are you afraid that I'm going to steal her away from you?

Tad: So, don't tell me you're honestly considering another lap around the boardroom with Mr. Lavery.

Liza: Ryan made me an offer, and I'm considering it.

Tad: Why? What can he offer you that you don't already get at Fusion?

Liza: You really want me to answer that?

Tad: No. Not particularly, no.

Liza: I didn't think so.

Tad: I got to hand it to you -- jumping back into bed with Ryan would certainly be a good way to stick it to Adam.

Liza: Are you worried about Adam?

Tad: No, I'm worried about you. I don't think you would come through it unscarred.

Liza: Me?

Tad: Yeah, you. The last time you got involved with Ryan --

Liza: No, no --

Tad: Things didn't go well for anybody concerned.

Liza: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Ryan proposed a business arrangement. That's it.

Tad: Oh, be serious. You honestly expect me to believe that with your history neither one of you is going to start to blush when you discuss acquisitions and mergers?

Liza: Oh, grow up.

Tad: I did, and I learned from my mistakes.

Liza: Really? Really? Since when? Honestly, because I think you've lost the right to comment on my personal life.

Tad: Personal? We're talking personal? I thought we were talking professional.

Liza: You know what I mean.

Tad: Why are you so mad at me, ok? What did I do?

Liza: Ugh.

Simone: Hi. Can you believe this? Is Ryan for real?

Tad: Well, you'd have to ask Liza. She's the expert.

Liza: Yes, I do. You know, I'm going to the office, punish myself with self-inflicted paper cuts.

Simone: Liza, are you ok?

Liza: Why don't you and Mia join Tad?

Simone: Is that ok?

Liza: Yeah, Mia can take my seat. You sit on his lap and make yourself at home.

Jack: Hey, hey, hey. Don't you walk away from me when I'm talking to you.

Erica: I have been attacked enough for today, thank you very much.

Jack: Oh, come on. You gave just as good as you got with Kendall and Greenlee.

Erica: Oh, if you dare to defend either one of them to me after the horrible way they spoke to me --

Jack: Just listen to me. I have no desire to try to mediate that mess. Look, I need to talk to you. I need to talk to you about the night that Michael Cambias disappeared.

Erica: Why on earth would you bring that up now, and here of all places?

Jack: Because I know that you were with David Hayward. Now, don't even try to deny it. Don't lie to me because he's already confirmed it.

Erica: You know that David has been helping me with Bianca.

Jack: Yes, and I also know that Bianca was not there that night. So would you mind telling me what you and David were doing?

Erica: I don't appreciate that tone.

Jack: Well, that's just too damned bad.

Erica: Well, exactly what do you think David and I did that night?

Greenlee: I told you Ryan was up to something. I knew it, the way he's been sneaking around town.

Juan Pablo: Would you like a drink? Sherry?

Greenlee: Yeah, sure, and his big announcement that he's Alexander Cambias' sole heir -- yeah. Ok, well, what is that about? I mean, who decides last minute to give their entire fortune to a stranger? It's not like he fell in love with Ryan while he performed CPR. So, he gave the guy a ride on his bike. So what? I opened the door for a little old man last week, and I didn't even get a thank-you. Do you know what Ryan did? Ryan conned Alexander. That's what he does. He makes a connection, plays on your sympathies, and then he just takes what he wants. Well, if Alexander was stupid enough to believe him and fall for his act, then he deserved to get ripped off.

Juan Pablo: That's cold.

Greenlee: What? You think Ryan had nothing better to do than to sit by some dying man's bedside? Where was he when his father died or when I lost Leo, his best friend? He wasn't here. Probably because he wasn't in the will. Oh, and that will, that provision about Michael predeceasing Alexander -- it's totally bogus. Ryan probably slipped that in last minute, right the lawyers. Thanks. What do you think?

Juan Pablo: I don't trust that man.

Aidan: You go after Kendall, and I will be right there.

Ryan: Hey, man, I just want what's mine.

Aidan: Nothing here belongs to you.

Ryan: Is that right?

Aidan: Come on, Kendall. Let's go.

Kendall: No, Aidan, Aidan, I can't. I want to talk to Ryan alone.

Aidan: Whatever this guy says, you can't trust him.

Kendall: I know that. I know that, but I need to do this. I need to do this, please.

Aidan: Fine. All right. You need me, I'll be outside.

Kendall: Thank you. I know.

Ryan: A little too overprotective for my taste. Yours, too. Unless you're into that sort of thing now.

Kendall: Aidan cares about me.

Ryan: Oh, that's sweet. How do you feel about him?

Kendall: Ryan, we need to talk. We need to talk about Michael and Alexander, the will, and my marriage.

Ryan: Let's just focus on you. You amazed me, Kendall, on how much you've been able to juggle these last few weeks.

Kendall: You had no right to spy on me.

Ryan: Maybe not.

Kendall: After all this time, I think I deserve more than a shrug, Ryan.

Ryan: You're playing tough, but it's getting harder and harder to pull off, isn't it?

Kendall: No.

Ryan: Yeah. Yeah, because I was there that day at Enchantment when Aidan left. You thought you were all alone. Do you remember that? You broke down. You were vulnerable. I actually wanted to reach out to you.

Kendall: What? Why?

Ryan: Because I felt for you.

Kendall: What did you feel?

Greenlee: You're right. You can't trust Ryan. He's after Fusion.

Juan Pablo: You already knew that.

Greenlee: Doesn't hurt to be reminded.

Juan Pablo: May I ask what he did to you?

Greenlee: He used me, made me feel stupid.

Juan Pablo: Greenlee, you're not stupid. Look at everything you have accomplished, risen above, hmm? You are a different person now.

Greenlee: Yes, I am. Ryan's still a user.

Juan Pablo: I don't think Ryan is after Fusion.

Greenlee: Then why didn't he come forward sooner? Why has he been following us around? He's Leo's best friend. Why is he acting this way?

Juan Pablo: Greenlee --

Greenlee: He's trying to trip us up, Juan Pablo, just like he did Alexander Cambias. We not going to get away with it. I'm not going to let him. He wants a fight, he's got one. Are you with me?

Juan Pablo: Why fight him at all?

Greenlee: What?

Juan Pablo: Why not just walk away?

Erica: Don't stop now, Jackson. Clearly, I've aroused your suspicions about my behavior with David. Do you think that we are the reason that Michael Cambias disappeared? Do you think that David and I put Michael Cambias in a meat locker?

Jack: No. No, of course not. I know you had nothing to do with Michael's murder.

Erica: Then why are you interrogating me? Why are you treating me like a criminal?

Jack: That is not what I'm doing.

Erica: Yes, it is, and I'm not going to stand for it anymore. Do you understand? You just find somebody else to grill because I'm not going to be bullied by you or any other D.A.

Mia: You know, I wouldn't take it personally, . Liza's just upset about Ryan returning and all those bombs he just dropped on us.

Tad: Oh, no, she's not. She's all over his bombshells.

Mia: Are you jealous?

Tad: Segue. You know, allow me to give you two a little piece of advice, ok?

Simone: Ok.

Tad: If I were you, I would start working on Kendall as soon as I could.

Mia: No. No, listen, we already have some ideas on how to save Fusion.

Tad: Not saving -- selling.

Simone: To Ryan?

Tad: Along with Chandler Enterprises and Enchantment, yes.

Mia: What? Why? Do you think we should give up just like that?

Tad: It's not give up, guys. It's time to start looking at some serious truths, ok? Number one, Michael Cambias is very definitely dead. Number two, somebody very definitely killed him, and number three, the prime suspect is starting to look a lot like Kendall Hart.

Mia: You don't really think she did it, do you?

Tad: Nobody cares what I think. The chief of police and the D.A. are another story.

Simone: Yeah, but who says they're even looking at her?

Tad: Simone, come on. You were in that room. After a day, everybody's going to be looking at Kendall with a searchlight. What do you think is going to happen if she is charged and put on trial? How do you expect her to run three companies, face a murder rap, and deal with Ryan's claim to her inheritance? I mean, she's a survivor, but she's not bionic.

Mia: I didn't think of that.

Simone: We have just overcome so much already. I just assumed that we'd beat this, too.

Tad: I'm not saying you can't.

Mia: But you don't think that we will?

Tad: If I was Kendall, I would take the money and run.

Ryan: What do you think I felt?

Kendall: Don't do this, Ryan. Please, just be honest with me.

Ryan: Be honest? You mean like the way that you've been honest with me?

Kendall: I have been.

Ryan: Oh, come on, Kendall. You lied about being married to Cambias. You're lying to me right now.

Kendall: No, I'm not.

Ryan: Yeah, yeah, I know it, you know it, the whole town knows it!

Kendall: No, that's not true. Everyone in this town believed me until you showed up and you put doubts in their head. Why are you doing this, Ryan? Why are you even here? I mean, do you hate me that much? Do you hate me that much? God, I wish I could just --

Ryan: What, what, what? Kill me? Whoa, hey. Kendall, you better watch it. I mean, dead husband in the morgue, you don't want to be drawing attention to your temper.

Kendall: You think I was going to threaten you?

Ryan: Well, then what? What, Kendall, what?

Kendall: It doesn't matter.

Ryan: Oh, I see. Ok, so this is just like another thing that you can't be honest about. That's fine.

Kendall: I wish I could hate you.

Ryan: Well, fine! Feel free to hate me all you want!

Kendall: No, that's what I was going to say! That's what I was going to say to you! I wish I could, but I can't. I could never hate you, Ryan, because I still love you. I will always love you more than any man on this earth.
