Ridge and Caroline fawn over their baby. He says he has been thinking of many baby names but one keeps coming back – Douglas. They look up at Stephanie’s portrait and he says she can not be here but will always be there in spirit and always be a little part of their son’s lives. Caroline likes it. Adam shows up just after Eve has pushed Deacon into the ocean. She seems out of breath and recommends to Adam that they just call it a day and go back to the car. She wants to go take a shower and change clothes. He keeps asking if something is wrong. She says no, a little emotional but she does not want to talk about it. She did what she had to do. He says they are married and she will not lose him. Thomas comes in just as Caroline and Ridge are naming the baby and then signing the birth certificate. He welcomes Douglas into the family and says it will suit him to a T. Ridge laments to Caroline that this is their son and Thomas and no one else must ever know otherwise.Eve returns and finds Adam on the internet. He confesses he is looking up asthma and is surprised at the results and people even dying from it. She appreciates him looking out for her and says she is a better person because of him. She tells him that she loves him too much and should anybody try to separate them, well she could not allow that. No one can ruin what they have together. Perhaps they should leave and start over. He says he loves this house and does not want to leave. He does not understand her at all. She says she wants to change everything about her life except him. She just wants to figure out a way to make their future happen. He still thinks she is freaking out. No one is trying to take him away from her. She begs him not to leave her. He says he promises she is stuck with him forever.

Hope saw Ciara drinking at her party. Hope wanted to
know what was going on. Roman told Steve and Kayla that he and Joey talked
about the murder case. Joey said that he told Roman everything. Hope
ended Ciara’s party. Steve told Roman that he was the one who killed
Ava. Roman said he wasn’t going to arrest Joey. Roman wanted Joey
to stop confessing to killing Ava. Roman said Steve was responsible for
what happened. Hope wanted to get Ciara help. Marlena told Belle
about John. They were both determined to find him. Ciara told Hope
about her feelings for Chase and how she felt guilty for liking him. Hope
made Ciara feel better about it.
Belle was determined to keep Marlena from finding John, but Marlena was adamant
about going. Steve talked Joey out of confessing. Ciara was worried
about Chase getting away with raping her. She was also worried about going
on trial. She wished she could have killed him, but Hope made her feel
better about it. Roman comforted Kayla about Joey killing Ava. Joey
decided not to confess again so he wouldn’t hurt his mother and Steve could
help John. Belle tried to stop Marlena from finding John again, but it
didn’t do any good. Steve told Kayla he was leaving to find John.
After they kissed, she told him to come back.

Olivia's court hearing to protect her right to public breastfeeding is underway with Alexis representing her and Diane representing the mayor. There appears to be uncertainty whether the judge will rule in Olivia's favor. Meanwhile, Dante believes he has no choice except to arrest the Crimson staff for littering as well as "corporate espionage". However, Curtis prevails and rides to the rescue of Crimson and Olivia's case by proving that neither government police nor the feds can make these charges. He is able to prove that he can take action to find out just who is attempting to undercut the magazine's efforts. Nina is very encouraged and is ready to hire and pay him. Valerie is also very impressed and seems to trust Curtis knowing he saved the day. At the end of the trial, Carly as well as Maxie and Nina stand up for Olivia. The judge rules in favor of Olivia and at that point, Diane is able to end her legal obligation to the mayor and admits that she will never again side with anyone who intends to violate a working mother's rights in this manner. At the hospital everyone is baffled as to what is happening to Tracy. Dr. Mayes wants to take action against both Griffin and Brad, reminding them that they have violated Tracy's HIPAA rights. Yet they are able to prove that Tracy could not have cancer and find a way to get to the bottom of what is really happening to her. Monica trusts them and knows what to do at that point as she gets on her phone to call a doctor she met at a meeting once. We see the face of her contact and he looks exactly like the deceased Oncologist Dr. Silas Clay.Y&R

The residents of Genoa City gathered for a fundraiser for the
Abbott-Winters Foundation. Jack and Neil announced that their first project
will be building addiction recovery centers all over the country. Hilary and
Ashley battle for a seat on the foundation board. They both made contributions
of $1 million each and declare war on each other.
Billy tells Phyllis that Jill made him the owner of the Chancellor
Mansion since she and Colin are traveling around the world. Victoria asked
Michael to set up a visit with Victor since she is worried that Luca is trying
to undermine her authority at the company.
