John told Paul that Yo Ling wanted his blood. John told
Paul what Yo Ling has been up to. John wanted to get Paul out of the safe house.
Joey wanted to talk to Roman. Steve and Rafe tried to find a way to get John.
Marlena was ready to go with them, but Rafe stopped her. Kayla tried to make
Joey feel better about killing Ava, but Joey didn’t want Steve to pay for what
he did. Joey went to talk to Roman. Kayla stopped Joey from talking to Roman,
but Roman wanted to hear him out. Yo Ling introduced himself to Paul. John
wanted Yo Ling to let Paul go.
Kayla tried to get in touch with Steve. Hope noticed something was wrong
with Kayla. Kayla told Hope that Joey killed Ava. Kayla told her why
Steve took the blame for it. Joey confessed to Roman that he killed Ava.
Hope told Kayla that Chase raped Ciara. Kayla comforted Hope. John
wanted Yo Ling to let Paul go. Yo Ling told Paul that he wanted him to
work with him. John wanted Yo Ling to take him instead of Paul. Rafe
ran into Dario and told him Eduardo. Yo Ling told his goons it was time.
Before they could take Paul, John begged Yo Ling not to do it. Steve saw
the text from Kayla about Joey. Yo Ling’s goons took Paul. John
begged Yo Ling to take him and not Paul.

Alexis and Olivia are going through with their lawsuit against the mayor for trying to prevent Olivia from breast-feeding in public. Yet they see that Diane Miller is representing
Mayor Lomax who is just as determined as they are to win. While Kristina and Molly are together at home, they conclude that they all need to pull together and both come out to support their mom and Olivia.
Everyone working at The Metro Court wonders why the health inspector has suddenly come out and cited them for code violations they've never had before. Carly needs to know what is up with her restaurant being threatened. Nina and Maxie both wonder what could be the cause of the "mishaps" every time they attempt to print an issue of Crimson.
They conclude the mayor wants to take action against Olivia. That would give her incentive to shut
down Olivia's business. It would also give her incentive to prevent Crimson
from publishing their article about Olivia's court action.Ava knows she's between a rock and a hard place with Paul having the evidence in his possession that she committed murder. Julian reminds his sister that she cannot fight her enemies all by herself, so he urges her to let him help her. Ava goes talk to Sonny, surprisingly telling him that doing the right thing for Avery means letting him have equal time with their daughter. Sonny knows she has not come to that decision out of the goodness of her heart,
so he calls the contact who he asked to "motivate" Ava with threats and
is certain that Ava "got the message loud and clear." Curtis and Valerie are on their second date and they find a way to help the Crimson staff, using their police training.
