Notes on Character:

Lana is born in 1985. Her parents Lewis and Laura Lang are killed by the meteor shower in 1989 as they stood in front the Aunt Nell's flower shop in Smallville. Nell Potter decides to take Lana in and raises her. Lana was homecoming queen, she is a cheerleader, she volunteers in a nursing home. She also co-owns the Talon coffee shop with Lex Luthor.  She dated Whitney Fordman for a while. Clark has a crush on her, and she has given it a try, but Clark always seem to stand her up. She is unaware that this is because he is busy saving someone's life. Recently, Aunt Nell decided to get remarried and moved to Metropolis. Lana went to live with Chloe and her father. Lana has recently found out that her biological father is actually a lawyer called Henry Small, who is now married with children.

Actor Biography:

Kristin's parents are both landscape architects. Her father Peter is Dutch and her mother Deanna Che is Chinese. Kristin was a student at Eric Hamber High School. She was initially planning to go to university for psychology or environmental studies. Her acting career started with stage work. Her first TV appearance was in Edgemont. Kristin is also a Neutrogena model, following the footsteps of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mandy Moore.
Kristin has a tight knit group of friends, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with them and reading. Because it rains so much in Vancouver, her and Smallville co-star Allison Mack often swap books or have a Woody Allen marathon.
