The series has cast musical artist and Holland’s The Voice judge Ilse DeLange in a recurring role.   

·       Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling artist and singer-songwriter Ilse DeLange (Holland’s The Voice, judge) has been cast in the recurring role of “Ilse” in the upcoming season six of “Nashville.”  This will be her acting debut.

·       Singer-songwriter “Ilse” is a featured judge and coach on Brad Maitland's (Jeffrey Nordling) singing competition show. Beautiful and kind, Ilse is a big star in her native Holland and someone that will become an ally and friend of Daphne's.

·       DeLange is represented by Firefly Management BV.

  • The new season of “Nashville” premieres Thursday, January 4 at 9pm ET/PT only on CMT.  The 16-episode will air in two parts, with the finale airing this summer (exact date TBD).

·       Currently in production, “Nashville” is produced by Lionsgate and Opry Entertainment. 

·       The series is executive produced by Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick (the creators of “Thirtysomething”), Steve Buchanan and Callie Khouri, who created the series.

  • “Nashville” airs in 225 territories worldwide. Since its debut, the show has inspired 22 soundtracks, including a Christmas album, which have collectively sold more than one million album units and over 5 million single-track downloads to date. It has also been nominated for multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards.
  • The devoted “Nashie” fan base has generated record-breaking numbers for CMT. “Nashville” ranks as the network’s highest-rated and most-watched show in the network’s history, averaging 2.1M weekly viewers (L+7). Over the course of the first-half of the season 5 alone, the series notched nearly 16 million total viewers on CMT alone, and nearly 23 million on CMT and Nick.

Ilse DeLange is one of the most respected and best-selling female artist in The Netherlands. Her debut album “World of Hurt, produced by Barry Beckett in Nashville, was the start of her musical career in 1998. Many hit singles, #1 albums, platinum records and prestigious awards followed over the years. DeLange has sold out the biggest arenas in the country, is a popular coach on The Voice Of Holland, has her own television show Ilses Veranda on national Dutch television and has her own Americana-festival called “Tuckerville”.  After a long lasting very successful solo career, DeLange decided to start an Americana band: The Common Linnets. Cameron ScogginsCameron Scoggins (Z, Shades of Blue) has been upped to series regular in the role of “Zach Welles,” as Nashville returns to CMT on Thursday, June 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT for the second half of Season 5.
“Zach Welles” is a young Silicon Valley billionaire with a ready smile. Boyish, ebullient and personable, Zach is a nerd who made good, and though still a nerd, he has the confidence and self-image of someone who isn’t. Scoggins is represented by The Gersh Agency and Perennial Entertainment.
Newcomer Odessa Adlon has been cast in the recurring role of “Liv” in Season 5. Tough, but vulnerable, Liv is a teen runaway who has ditched a bad situation to live on the streets among a loose collection of other runaway teens. She is a quick thinker who has a mischievous sense of humor and dominant personality (bit of a “wise-ass,” especially with adults). Adlon is represented by Don Buchwald & Associates and Royle Dice.

Odessa Adlon BIO Originally from Los Angeles, newcomer Odessa Adlon comes from an entertainment family with her filmmaker father Felix Adlon, and actress mother Pamela Adlon.
