| In Gotham City, young Bruce Wayne loses his parents and his only
friend is his butler, Alfred. The murders areinvestigated by young,
idealistic detective James Gordon and his new partner, Detective Harvey
Bullock. Gordon tries to be a great cop and clean up a very dirty and
corrupt city, even though the police force, and his partner, all work
for the mob. The city is teeming with villains like Fish Mooney, Carmine
Falcone, and many others, including the future Batman nemeses Catwoman,
The Riddler, The Penguin et al. The show is about the city of Gotham,
pre-Batman. |
