Angelus is caught feeding off of
Lilah, so Wesley and Gunn think he has killed her. Wesley is upset
and guilty over Lilah’s death. He has an imaginary conversation
with her about their ‘relationship’ while he ponders
dismembering her body.
Cordelia whispers, “It’s
starting.”
Angelus arrives at a demon bar in
search of the whereabouts of the Beast and is welcomed from his
long awaited fans.
Conner wants to destroy Angelus, and
he doesn’t like it when the gang does a sanctuary spell to keep
them safe in the hotel.
Angelus and the Beast chat. The
Beast tells Angelus that the Master requested him, that he is
to take orders from him. Angelus tells him that he takes orders from no one and
leaves. Cordelia then arrives; apparently the Master has taken
over her body. The Beast and Cordelia/Master kiss (and you thought
Conner and Cordelia’s relationship was icky).
Wesley visits the slayer, Faith, who
is in a jail in Stockton, California for murder in the second
degree. He tells her he
needs her help in capturing Angelus. He knows she won’t kill
him; Angel never gave up on Faith and she’s not about to give up
on him. She breaks out.
Faith takes charge, which Conner
doesn’t like, but he does listen to her instructions. Faith, Angelus
and the Beast come face to face to face. Faith and the Beast fight,
and Faith gets her ass kicked. Angelus destroys the Beast and the
sun returns, which saves Faith from being finished off herself.
Conner thinks Faith has destroyed
the Beast and happily tells Cordy about it. She tells him that she is
having his baby, and now they are connected forever.
Memorable moment:
Angelus calls Buffy house to see if she’s the slayer in town
and talks to Dawn.
Memorable quotes:
“It’s like riding a biker.” - Faith’s retort when
Wesley wondered if she had forgotten how to slay.
“Thought you would enjoy a threesome.” - Angelus' comment to
Faith when she is trapped with him and the Beast.
