(This is a short recap; we hope to have a longer, more detailed summary
later)
Aired January 29th, 2003
Angelus and The Beast make a deal way back in
the day. Though Angel says he can remember everything about his
time as Angelus he just cannot remember The Beast. It is agreed
that the only way to beat The Beast is to bring Angelus back.
Wesley shows up with a dark mystic Shaman who
can extract and replace Angel’s soul. The Shaman and Angel are
locked in a cage together and the extraction begins. It looks like
it’s a set up. The Shaman attacks and the gang fight back. They
want answers but the Shaman kills himself instead. The man is
covered in tattooed inscriptions. They read him and discover that
the sword that will kill The Beast can be found under the city.
The gang go on a hunt. They make it through the
booby traps and Angel and Cordelia find the sword. They get caught
in a fire where Cordy panics when she thought that they could of
died. She reveals all her feeling to Angel including the all
important she doesn’t care anymore about his Angelus past all
she sees now is the good he does as Angel. Wesley and Connor
witness their kiss and Connor freaks out. He and his father fight
and Connor comes to the realization that Cordelia was never his.
Back at the hotel The Beast arrives and Angel
fights him after sending everyone out of the room. Angel fights
hard but Connor joins him and distracts The Beast and Angel stabs
and kills The Beast.
The sun is back and Angel and Cordelia are
having sex. What the …???
Okay yes none of this has been real. This is the
vision that Angel saw, true happiness that was implanted by the
Shaman. Angel awakens with a wicked grin. Angelus is back.
