DVD Reviews
I really enjoyed this show last season. I watched every
episode. First they canceled it, and then they changed their
mind, but they're showing it in late July for some reason. I
don't know why, but anyway, watch the show when it returns.
Buy this DVD because it's a good show and worth watching.
Poppy Montgomery of "Without a Trace" stars as Carrie, a
woman who remembers everything, in great detail. It makes
her a great detective. She's paired with her ex-boyfriend,
Al (Dylan Walsh), and there are other interesting people on
the show, too. I think it's a very fine cast and the writing
is solid.
The DVD has all of the great episodes. My only complaint
is that every disk says "special feature" as if it has
special features on it, but really all of the special
features are on the last disk. Oops! But they are good
special features.
There is a feature called "Keeping it Memorable" where
the cast and crew talk about the show and how it was
developed. There is also another one "Production Design"
where they talk about how the show is designed. The last one
talks about people like Carrie, both in the show and in real
life, who remember everything. There's also some promos and
a gag reel, and some deleted scenes. Lastly, there is audio
commentary.
It's really worth getting if you're a fan of the show,
and especially if you missed it the first time around!
