DVD TV Show Reviews

This is a recent (updated) version of "Scooby Doo", and it is very good. It is hip, smart, clever, and sure to appeal to all ages. The Scooby Doo cartoons I grew up with were great, but they are now as cool or clever as this, and they were definitely made for kids.  As an adult, I would only watch them for nostalgia's sake. These new Scooby Doo cartoons are fun to watch even as an adult.

The animation is better, too. The cartoons are more 3D. They flesh out the characters not only in terms of the drawings but also in terms of the writing. We see the Scooby Gang's families and how they interact with their kids, and the town. It's very interesting.  There are lots of good jokes, too. It's just a good, fun show.

There are no extras or features, just some trailers. Still, it's a good set. My only complaint would be that I hate when they split the seasons up like this. Why not put the entire season one on ONE disk? It makes no sense.
