Pretty Little Liars: The Complete Seventh & Final Season

 Review by Suzanne Lanoue 7/19/17

This show has always been a really good soap opera-mystery. This season, they wrapped up the latest mystery and even went a year ahead in the future in the last episode. I don't think the show ever really lost any steam. Its storytelling was always top-notch. The loyal fans remained loyal and are now sad that PLL is over.  7 seasons is a good run for any TV show nowadays, especially on cable.

As always, the DVD has tons of great features. PLL fans will enjoy going through them all and watching them. I know I did. I think the new CW show Riverdale tries to be like PLL. I believe PLL did so well because it has one single person doing the writing and producing (I. Marlene King).  I look forward to seeing what else she produces in the future, now that PLL is over.

You should definitely watch the first 6 seasons before this one, so you know what's going on. You might be a little lost otherwise.
