DVD TV Show Reviews

I watched the first episode of this show when it aired, and I enjoyed it. I never really watched the rest of it due to lack of time, but it is a good show. It's a real shame that they canceled it after only one season.

This is a very exciting show about doctors working and learning out in South America. The doctors face all kinds of interesting challenges out in the middle of nowhere, and they have some very young doctors learning from the older doctors, sort of like Grey's Anatomy.  They also have romance and sex on the side.

The DVD has some good extras, including a behind-the-scenes feature about the set, how the cast got their roles, and what it is like working in Hawaii. In another interesting feature, the cast and crew discuss the medical cures they use in the show (with tropical plants, insects etc.). There are also bloopers and deleted scenes.  It's a good buy!  You should check it out-- you won't be sorry.
