DVD TV Show Reviews

Season three of MacGyver carries on in the same vein as the first two seasons.  The show lasted a long while and was consistent in the quality of writing and acting, in my opinion.  They knew better than to change the formula much and stuck with what worked.  MacGyver has great wit and flair, and he has a team of recurring characters who help him out (or whom he helps out) from one adventure to another.  His knowledge of science gets him out of jams without having to resort to violence.  It's a fun and entertaining show.

The packaging is fine and also looks very nice on my shelf. I just wish they'd throw in some extras for the fans.  Well, maybe one day we will have a "Special Edition MacGyver"....with commentaries from the writers and cast, and interviews with Richard Dean Anderson and Teri Hatcher, at least.
