DVD Reviews
This is a great show that I never miss! I
would watch it even if it weren't so good because I'm such a
huge Sherlock
Holmes fan, but it's a very good show. The idea to put
the show in the current day, in America, with a female
Watson, is inspired. Now as the show heads into its 5th
year, it's still a great show. I just love the humor in the
show. Sherlock and Joan have such a fun and hilarious
rappoire.
Veteran actor John Noble appears a lot this
season as Holmes' father, Morland. He was awesome in the
role and it was a neat way for them to focus their story.
Sadly, he won't be back on a regular basis next season.
The cases were very good this years. They
still borrow sometimes from the original Holmes stories, but
they're not tied to them at all times. I'm glad they finally
did "Hound of the Baskervilles," which is probably the most
well-known of the Holmes stories.
The DVD set has MANY special features, which
I always enjoy. I love the show, so I was glad to see them,
especially the one about Morland. They're all good,
though. I can't wait for season 5!
