Big Little Lies  Review by Suzanne Lanoue 7/25/17

I enjoyed this miniseries. Parts of it were a little slow. I think it could have been 6 episodes instead of 7.  But it's definitely worth watching.  The performances alone are outstanding. You can't expect less from Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern. Shaileen Woodley, Alexander Skarsgård, Adam Scott and James Tupper are all fabulous as well. It's an amazing cast with a really good story.

Someone is murdered in the first episode, and then we see the rest in flashbacks. It's not confusing or hard to follow at all, though. It's very well done. The writing is really good.  The music used in the series are also outstanding.  I can't say enough about how good it is.  I look forward to season 2!

There are just two great bonus features, and you should enjoy watching those as well. The series is based on a book, which I didn't know before I started watching it. Don't miss this!
