The 4400 - The Complete First Season

The 4400 Season 1 DVD cover

The 4400 is a great scifi and suspense show.  I don't know why they took so long to bring the first season out on DVD!  The show just started its fourth season.  Unfortunately, the first season only had 5 episodes because it started as a 5-part miniseries.  The first season was really thrilling and suspenseful.

The show is about a group of people who suddenly appear in Seattle. These people were plucked out of their lives for over 60 years but suddenly are returned in one night.  The great mystery of the show is who took them, why are they returned, and what happened to them?  Among other questions...

If you like good writing, especially scifi, you will love this show. It is definitely worth it to buy this set, which is not too pricey.  However, there are no extras in this set, which is a darn shame. I have watched this show every year and it is a truly superb show.
