Review of "The
Spy"
9/10/19 by
Suzanne
airs now on Netflix
Comedian/actor/writer Sacha Baron Cohen stars as
Eli Cohen, a real spy that was part of the Mossad
until he was executed by Syria in 1965. It's a good
suspense thriller, and Sacha Baron Cohen does a
great job (as do the other actors). If you
thought he was only capable of doing comedy like
"Borat," you'd be wrong.
There are other familiar faces in the series,
such as Noah Emmerich ("The Americans") and
Alexander Siddig ("Gotham," "Star Trek: Deep Space
Nine"). It's a good drama and worth watching.
