Review of "Star
Trek: Picard"

airs Wednesdays on CBS All Access
This is an excellent show, whether or not you're a big fan of "Star Trek: The
Next Generation." It's great to see Patrick Stewart back as Jean-Luc Picard. We
also see Data in the first episode (in flashbacks, since he died in the last TNG
movie). Previews indicate that we'll also see Jonathan Frakes (Riker), Marina
Sirtis (Deanna Troi), and Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine, who was actually on "Star
Trek: Voyager," not TNG. There are many great new interesting characters as
well.
We learn that Picard left Starfleet 20 years ago because he was not
happy with the way they handled a disasterous situation. I don't want to spoil
it for you, but it's a very cool story with lots of great action and special
effects. I can't wait for the second episode. It's even better than "Star Trek:
Discovery." The show has already been renewed for a second season. Yay!
