Family Food Fight

Review of "Family Food Fight" 6/21/19 by Eva Diaz
airs Thursdays, 9/8c on ABC

I don't know how to cook, but I love to watch cooking shows. When I found out that "Family Food Fight" was a cooking competition show, I had to watch it. Four families compete to win a chance to be crowned the best family cooks and win ten thousand dollars. The families compete each week to be one of three families to move on to the next round, and the fourth family is eliminated from the competition. The contestants compete in two rounds, cooking whatever the judges decide. One family is awarded best dishes and automatically moves on to the next round of competition. The other three families face an elimination round, where they move to the next round, and then one family is eliminated. Celebrity chef Ayesha Curry is both host and judge, along with chefs Cat Corra and Graham Elliot.

I enjoyed this show very much. It was fun to watch families cook together and make recipes that they make at home and that are special to them. It's also intersting to hear the stories of the families as they share why their recipes are important to them. The studio audience, as well as the audience watching at home, roots for their favorite contestants and wants them to win. I just wish that the wining families would put their winning recipes on the show's website, so the home audience could also cook them. The dishes look very good, and as audience watching at home, we want to eat the winning dishes. If you enjoy cooking and game shows, you'll love this show. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
