Watch the first season online on Amazon
This is a German show, dubbed in English. A family man,
Lukas Franke (Matthias Schweighöfer), is hacked and his life
is turned upside down. A terrorist commits some attacks and
makes it look like Franke is the person responsible. He
tries to solve the problem on his own, but things get worse.
The police suspect him, and then his family and friends also
start to suspect him, no matter how much he protests his
innocence.
It's one of those paranoid thrillers that
probably owes a lot to "24." Franke gets involved with a
woman, Lena Arandt, who was also targeted, so they work
together to try to find out what's going on. The trail leads
to the federal government police. It does move along quickly
and is somewhat compelling. The main character is likable,
but he acts kind of dumb. I hope it gets better.
