Review of "The Great Phatsby" First-Ever
One-Hour Episode Of
THE SIMPSONS
Airing Sunday, Jan. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT)
My husband and I watched the first few seasons of "The
Simpsons." It was very funny. Eventually, it became less so,
so we stopped watching. We picked it up again a few
years ago, but it still wasn't all that funny, so we stopped
watching again. I think they've long run out of jokes, to be
honest. They have stories now, and they're not as funny as
the old ones were. Still, some stories (and jokes) are
better than others. This episode is pretty good and make me
chuckle a lot.
It combines The Great Gatsby with
Empire, among other thing. Monty Burns gets involved with
another rich guy, a rap mogul, who ends up taking him for an
expensive ride. Homer comes to the rescue (as does
Smitthers) to help him get revenge. Check it out!
